One of the best secret places in the Ottawa valley. The not so cold water is excellent for swimming in the summer. Not recommended for winter swimIng, unless you are a penguin. Mosquitos may be brutal at night....in the summer. There are no mosquitos in the winter, but the lake is closed anyway. Good for peaceful kayaking and breathtaking scenery for the best pictures (those that have a mirror water lake reflecting the pine shoreline).....Sandy beach and a shelter. No other amenities.
