Fantastic park, very well maintained. The kids play area is lovely. The lagoon across the street is delightful as well. There is a trail around the pond where you can enjoy the many ducks turtles and geese. Paths leading off into residential areas or the forrest as well. Can get busy right after dinner but otherwise very lovely place.

A great open area for kids to play. Also the playground is fun and is expanding to include a zip line sort of thing. My kids like this park. Lots of street parking on a non-busy street. Ideal to let them run around.

Park is lovely but not easy to navigate. Lots of people and near traffic, so not too quiet. No easy access clear parking areas (parked in a cul de sac). But many benches and a lovely tiny duck pond.

I regularly go for a 8k jog through the Nicomekl Park, Portage Park, Brydon Lagoon, High Knoll Park, Penzer Park, and then down a trail that goes behind HD Stafford Middle School (connecting with the Portage Park trail). It's a great trail with only about 1/4 paved. I love it!

Nice park plenty of shade at the time we went very different from most parks. Lost of dogs being walked. Not very busy there were no children until we were about to leave nearly 1 and half later. Great for younger or older kids even adults we liked it.

Recently updated with a large play structure...tons of variety. Even dad was interested for the 45 minutes we were there. Definitely one of the top spots in South Langley...

It's a huge park but trying to find your way around it is a mystery to me!!! We wandered around for almost an hour down various trails but never found the kid's playground. Signage on wooden posts was not the least bit helpful. It was also a bit unsettling to run into so many homeless people who seem to have settled into the park!!!! Google maps didn't seem to have the location right to the actual park entrance if there's even such a thing!!! It kept directing me to turn into the Langley Seniors Centre!!! The few paths we wandered down ended up taking us out of the "park" and into residential areas. We might try again after studying the area map in greater detail but I wasn't too impressed on our initial attempt ????

Really cool new playground. The smaller playground isn't as high as some for the younger age range, which I think is safer. There's a tandem regular-baby swing and a large open bowl swing.

First off to be clear there is a park area suitable for young children with many new updates, however for those not from the area the duck pond is NOT at this park it is at Brydon Lagoon which is across the street on 53rd avenue and down the road. The lagoon has also been getting spruced up. Has water feature trail systems and new benches to sit and feed the ducks and geese

Lots od ducks and wild bird there. Nice walk around the small lake. Takes about 15 minutes to complete the round. There is a water fountain at the middle od the lake.

I took my two young kids here. Following directions and driving the neighbourhood, it was poorly marked. I am still unsure where the best place is to park to enter Nicomekl Park. We found a few ducks to feed but did not see a playground, though we didn't linger around to find it. The area was full of garbage and did not feel safe. It looked like there may be homeless people living here or that it was being used for 'after hours' activities. Perhaps we entered the worst side of the park, but I still would not return.

For such a small park, the amenities are nice. Bathrooms, playground, baseball diamond. There is supposed to be a parking lot, but it's chained off, meaning you have to park on the street, which, as one with a wee little one, cost a full star rating. Limited shade.

Nice place to go for a walk, quite a few trails. Pond has a lot of ducks and geese. If you walk your dog pick up after your pet and throw it out. Like all parks in the area lots of mess left behind by dog owners.

The lagoon and trails are wonderful. Family and dog friendly. Bring some seeds to feed the ducks. Or just walk around the lagoon and see the turtles and herons and other wildlife.

Beautiful place to walk. Nice to see the baby ducks sometimes you see turtles around the lagoon if you go opposite of the lake instead of walking over a bridge go the left walk you eill come across an eagles nest and if your lucky will see the eagle. Have walked there for many years.

I think this is a dog park but correct me if I am wrong. I have walked passed this park on several occasionally at dusk .and I never have seen anyone or anything there. But it's a small park and well maintained.

I cannot believe this park is rated so high. The actual park is nice but there is a huge homeless population and the city has not responded with trash cleanup appropriately so there’s always garbage everywhere.
