The Museum in Fort Langley is celebrating their 60th anniversary this year! (2018) I especially like their "then and now" section. It's incredible to see how much, and in some cases, how little things have changed.

Highly educational and engaging exhibits. Currently featured is the "Our Living Languages" exhibit, about Canada's indigenous languages. Well worth the trip, as a part of the "Fort Langley" experience.. the birthplace of BC.

This small museum is a great place to go before or after the Fort Langley Fort. It has a lot of history and showcases local artisans in their trades and sells various art and jewellery and other touristry things.

The reception was warm and the artifacts are well preserved. The items on sale are wonderful and at reasonable prices. The washrooms were well maintained and overall, it is a clean, neat experience.

This is a cute little museum, and not too expensive, so if you're already in the area and seeing museums (there's 2 others within steps of this one) then I'd say it's worth it. When I was here, they had an art gallery type exhibit on one side and a cool step with historical artefacts and dioramas to peruse on the other side. My favourite part was the densely packed little general store exhibit.

Reginald Ham

A very nice informative museum with very friendly staff

A quaint little museum in the historic area of Fort Langley. We were able to enjoy a rotating gallery (featuring Syrian Refugee art during our visit) and a permanent exhibit displaying the history of the township as well as the First Nations that came before. Admission are requested by voluntary donations. Once in the museum you can enjoy a small gift shop that is primarily First Nation themed or enjoy classes and party areas for kids (a birthday party was commencing as we stepped inside). The volunteers are extremely helpful and informative and make this small museum a small treat while exploring the city! (Out of respect for the artists, no indoor photos were taken)

This museum is operated by people who love the aircraft and spend time with you telling you the history of them. You can touch many of the planes and sit in the cockpit of some. Many of the planes are kept in flying condition. It is a must see if you visit the Surrey, Langley, Vancouver area.

The first time in the Langley Centennial Museum. I was pleasantly surprised. The space isn't all that big yet it hold important artifacts of the history of Langley. It's nice to see and learn local history. They have some beautiful native art work and local artisans wares for sale also. I do recommend you come here at least once and than again when they've moved into their new home across the road.
