Very informative tour. The owners are 4th and 3rd generation Dairy farmers who run this Dairy centre with the intention of public education. You get to see all the different types of milking techniques (including a voluntary system with a robotic arm) and even try milking by hand yourself! It's a great place to take friends and family for something interesting and educational, out of the city but still accessible. The visit was lots of fun thank you!
Had a wonderful time seeing animals & running through pumpkin patch with my grandson and the informative lessons on different varieties of pumpkins. The hay ride was a nice treat & the Robot Milking Machine that milks the cows, knows each type of cow & how much it draws milk from each type! It even knows if the cow has already met its max for the day & boots it out of the cage! Fascinating!
Good
Fun to see the animals, my young kids loved it. Pumpkins in the patch weren't that big or varied in colour (ie no white ones) but we still have an awesome time :)
A must visit with your kids! The hosts are super nice and the two ???? Squishy and Sophie are really smart and beautiful. They like to play with people.
Nice and quiet atmosphere
My kids did not want to leave this place. Have never seen happier cows, all are so friendly here!
Great place to visit and see animals! Very well maintained farm, and down to earth family! We always look forward to going and seeing the animals especially the cows!
Amazed at the quality and care put in to the pumpkin patch this year! So much variety and had a great time walking around with my friends! Definitely will be coming back!
Great drive through farm. Was amazed how the owner is careful with the current situation as well.
WOW! What an awesome experience and great out of the box thinking with the Safarmi. This has gone totally viral with all my buddies (no pun intended). Brought my family the other day and my kids LOVED it. Perfect way to get them out of the house and enjoy some sunshine and fun times from the relative comfort and safety of our car :)
It's a great place for small children to visit it's generally a educational dairy, there are picnic tables washrooms, it's a good experience for the children and it has a quarter mile road to get to the dairy that's dusty????
Cute place, great for kids!
Beautiful place to visit and keep informed about dairy production. They have some activities around like hen ride, feeding the cows, picture farm panel.. etc but mostly enjoyable as a group.
My first pumpkin patch ???? The Safarmi was organized very well, though we had to wait for few minutes to park the car and go to pumpkin patch. Overall loved the farm, animals and the pumpkin patch
kids love it! Hope next time we can get off the car...
They're known for their enormous pumpkin patch in the fall but at other times of the year it's a great place to take kids to connect them with animals. There are pigs, goats, cows, sheep, chicken rabbits, etc here.
A terrific visit; the adults enjoyed it as much as the toddler did. The cows seem very happy—and they love visitors! I never thought a robotic milking system and barn-sized silent robot vacuum / floor cleaner could be the highlight of a fall pumpkin patch visit, but here we are.
It’s a really fun place for families who have little kids! It’s a little animal farm. :) 10$ per car. Yes, drive thru view! Worth visiting in covid-19.
Wonderfull place. Was part of preschool field trip and kids loved it.
Drive through farm tour for COVID-19 was excellent, long lines though.
We really enjoyed eagle acres.
I've been going here for years and I like it every time. The new robotic Miller is pretty amazing.
First time visiting. Safarmi was so much fun! Such a great idea. Our little one loved it! Highly recommend
Best way for people to experience a running dairy farm. Get up close and personal with all sorts of animals.
Beautiful place a for a school trip. Owners in the farm just know how to talk to kids teaching about farm activities.
We had our son’s 3rd birthday at eagle acres dairy farm and we all had such a great time, even the grownups. Brian was so friendly and patient, the place is clean and pleasant to be in. I would highly recommend this farm
This was my first year going. Cows are my favourite animal, and I wanted to try a new pumpkin patch this year. So I googled and found Eagle Acres, I Ioved it. They have given every one of there animals names alll those cows. Lots of pumpkins to chose from. The only thing I would negatively say was the admission price and pumpkin purchase on top of it.. But I give it ????????
The Andersons are an amazing family as well as great educators . Fun place to take the family for an afternoon ,or an entire class to learn about the role of dairy farming etc. The pumpkin farm maze is a neat idea rather than a boring flat field
Very well organized, the kids loved it. We would definitely go again and highly recommend it.
disgusting
Went there with my friends family. It is large farm with many different animals, and kids love kitten. However, the pumpkin field is kind of messy compared to other farms.
Just an addition to the comment by Celestina below. If you have a person in a wheelchair, you don't just say, "well, everyone else enjoys the stairs so much, so we won't ruin all their fun by putting in a ramp." You put in a ramp. Our daughter is disabled by her fear. If you have a child like that, you don't say, "well, everyone else enjoys the dog so much, we won't ruin all their fun by putting the dog away for a bit." You put the dog away for a bit. Which is exactly what you did in the end, we're told, after you told my wife you wouldn't and after she was forced to leave and destroy the experience for my daughter. And your response here is to "thank" her for her comments and then tell her basically, "come back when your daughter gets over her ridiculous fear of our beloved dog." Wow.
Great people to do business with, just in general the Anderson family is whole hearted and business oriented. Jacob Voronov Big Moose PowerWashing Inc.
I’m a bit overdue in posting this, but hopefully better late than never! I had a truly magical afternoon at Eagle Acres Dairy on my (28th) birthday in April 2019 (eek, I know...remember 2019?) I’m obsessed with cows, and all I wanted for my birthday was to spend some time with them. I reached out to the farm to see if a drop-in visit was possible, and they were beyond accommodating. Even though they were already hosting a children’s party, they still found time to show me around, answer my millions of questions about the dairy industry, and - awesome surprise - take me and my partner on a hayride through the fields. In addition to their beautiful cows, there are many other sweet farm animals to visit (oh the babies!) and an awesome milking robot! Whether you’re 8 or 28, I highly recommend spending some time at this wonderful place. Support your local farmers, connect with animals, and have a really memorable time. ???? ❤️
Cash only! Come prepared! Animal variety was great, loved the fact you can touch 99% of the animals! The icecreme stand was disappointing, due to the fact that the girl serving the icecreme looks extremely uninterested and the amount of ice creme you get for $5 is silly... would I comeback? maybe if I was baked and had no option due to my girlfriend...
Amazing! Awesome driving through experience. My children loved it. Please add farm songs so that children can sing and enjoy it more.
Went to this pumpkin patch today and loved it! Been to others and this one beats them all. My 4 year old son really loved interacting with the animals, the owners were very friendly too. An awesome way to spend our afternoon!
Had the pleasure of coming to the site when planning a pumpkin picking trip and found there was so much more to experience when on site. Lots of different animals who were very friendly to be pet and lots of cows ( each with a unique fun name !) that seemed very very happy to be there. It made me really happy to see how the cows could choose to go have themselves milked when they wanted and the incredible technology behind it all to allow them to do so. I even got to enjoy a hay ride with the farms very friendly boarder collie and pick a few great pumpkins. I would strongly recommend this to anyone with small kids or a interest in our local farming.
It was a good experience visiting the dairy farm. I am a UBC student and visited this farm with my classmates last week. It was very useful to learn how a dairy farm is managed and how the cows are milked and it was one of the most interesting experience among all the field trips UBC has provided.
Fun for everyone.
(Translated) I'm going with my girlfriend :) Me and my girlfriend both love animals, so we love to go around the farm, and it was the best place we've ever been!! The ice cream is so delicious and the owners are really friendly. The puppies are also very kind and gentle, and please get in the back of a big car and go around the farm ~~ Definitely a must!!! I recommend you to visit (Original)
Love the atmosphere and very well done for reasonable price
Have taken our two boys out there for the last 4 pumpkin and Christmas tree seasons, and will keep going back until the end of days :) Mark (on the big green John Deere tractor) is great with people and especially kids. This year he let our eldest ride on the tractor with him, and then swapped spots and let him drive it for a bit (all while watching all was safe of course!!) The pricing on their trees and pumpkins is extremely fair, and instead of standing in a line at Ikea you can feed some goats, pet the very very large pigs, or hang out with a horse. They have jams and other baked goods for sale that are homemade and taste great!! The staff has always been friendly, which is surprising sometimes because 95% of them seem to be under 18 years old. Positive kids/adults that seem to have fun being a part of that farm. Definitely recommend, just don't tell too many of your friends, I want the pumpkins to be there when we head back next year!
This tour was an absolutely amazing experience! Brian & Erin were knowledgeable, personable, friendly and great hosts! I for one had never toured a working dairy farm beforehand so I learned a great deal. Great fun for the children as well as the adults. I highly reccomend you stop in for a tour and see a working Canadian dairy farm. Bring extra money to purchase fresh from the farm eggs! We should all support our Canadian farmers and dairy industry.
We hosted a client appreciation event at the farm yesterday and it was a huge success. The space was perfect to set up lunch and let everyone explore the farm. They were very accommodating and make it very easy to put everything together. Our guests loved it, their kids were happy visiting with the animals and picking out their pumpkins. Can't wait to do it again.
I went with my daughter as part of a preschool group this morning. My four years old doesn't like dogs, so she was scared as soon as we arrived (quite contrary to my two years old who was petting the dog). I understand that when you go to a farm, you are going to be with animals. I had prepared my daughter for that, and she was excited to see the cows, but nothing could make her feel better after she saw the dog. I asked the owner's wife to see if its possible to keep the dog away, and she plainly told me that the dog is part of the program. I got the message that she's not going to help. So I no choice but to leave. Not a good experience as I thought that just because my daughter was afraid of dog (no matter how friendly dogs are), she couldn't enjoy the tour. I totally understand the importance of a dog on the farm, but at least a small cooperation from the owner or his wife could have helped settle my daughter...I don't even want to give any star as I was unable to see or enjoy anything while there, let alone feel welcome :(.
We hosted my kids birthday party here. It was such a fun, casual and unique experience. The party space at the front entry is large, airy, spacious. The kids loved all the animals and the hay ride. They probably could’ve spent hours feeding the cows - biggest highlight for sure! We brought our own food and table decor. The owners were organized, friendly and let us do our own thing, but also responsive when we needed assistance. Highly recommend this venue for kids birthday or other function for someone that wants a unique, agricultural experience in Langley. COVID protocols in place which was good. Loads of fun even in poor weather.
Going to see them
We drove all way from Coquitlam to learn that the farm was closed, eventhough google suggested that they were open. The gentleman there was rude, no interest of going there after such experience . My children couldn't understand why the guy had to be that rude with us ????
