The C level cirque trail is an easy summer hike and it is good for the whole family. Go to the true summit and climb the rocks to see the spectacular view of Lake Minnewanka and the two Jack Lake.

C Cirque was a decent challenge, not exactly 'easy for the whole family' though. Wear your hiking boots and bring poles for extra stability if you desire. Not much space to linger at the top so find another spot to eat lunch.

This is a great hike. After the gate closure in winter times total distance to the lookout point increases to a mere 16 km. The other side of Cascade mountain and at the lookout point the view of lake Minewanka is stunning.

Tried C level cirque in the winter, but it was impossible. Tried again in the beginning of May, even though there were still snow on the road, at least it was doable. Love this hike, it was spectacular.

Very cool trail and view. Not so many people here, because the trail is pretty difficult, bring a bear bell

Ample parking, clean spaces, great number of picnic tables, public toilets and the entrance to a couple of trailheads, C-Cirque being one of them

Nice place. Relatively easy hiking, combined with the ruin site at Lower Bank Head it was a fun day trip

took around 3.5 hours round trip to do the C cirque hike. recommended for experienced hikers as there are some really steep parts. unfortunately with the fire smoke we didn’t have much of a view, but got stunning views of cascade mountain. be sure to bring bear spray and bear bells with you as we saw a grizzly bear (no harm done). many groups we passed did not have bells or spray.

Beautiful scenery and clean air. Great place to see wild animals. Remember ALL Animals in the park are wild and potentially dangerous.

The view from the base is great, but the view from c level cirque hike amazing. You get a wonderful view of the valley.

Great place for a family picnic. We had lunch and explored the lake shore. The scenery is fantastic, with postcard-like photo opportunities. My kids enjoyed skipping rocks in the lake and watching the chipmunks scurry around.

Large, well maintained paved lot with access to picnic areas. Bathrooms were 2 port-a-potties as building is currently closed for renovations. Trails are well traveled and nicely maintained.

(Translated) Many black bears nearby that can be found directly on the trail. The path itself is challenging and the view is beautiful and very little going on. You can see old mountain huts and shafts on the way. (Original) Viele Schwarzbären in der Nähe die man direkt auf dem Wanderweg antrifft. Der Weg selbst ist anspruchsvoll und die Aussicht ist schön und sehr wenig los. Man sieht alte Berghütten und Bergschächte auf dem Weg.
