I have been to Lake Louise a number of times in the past while growing up mostly in the winter. It is very picturesque with the Rocky Mountains all around you and the Beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise on its shore. Just outside the hotel in the winter there’s a large area cleared for skating. Lake Louise also has a ski resort that has both downhill and cross country skiing as well as snowboarding

Yes, it's one of the prettiest places on earth, but it's no prettier than it's pictures that you can find anywhere. The visitor experience is awful if you're not staying in the Fairmont. Assuming there's parking, you're herded into a spot, then have to elbow your way to a kiosk to pay for a ticket. Then there's a crowded patio to admire the view, canoe rentals at absurd prices, and the hotel where food and drinks are exorbitant. The bathroom is free. That's all there is. Drive the Bow Parkway, then head to Banff or Radium Springs instead.

Stunning! I had the privilege of going during the snowy months. The lake was frozen so I got to walk on it, after seeing many others successfully do it. Its a an amazing location with a few trials nearby. To truly see it for all its glory to need to hope for clear sky's.

Most significant and beautiful lake in the Rocky montains. try to hike some trails if you have time. Be mindful that you have to pay 11.7$ parking fee even you are staying there for 30 mins, and it is not included in the park pass.

Beautiful, a must see in Alberta, but I’ve got to say, the canoe and kayak rentals are way way way overpriced and it’s overcrowded with tourists, kind of a tourist trap

Please, if visiting during winter, wear snowshoes or spikes. Take at least 1 trail to Mirror lake or Agnes lake.

Yes, it’s pretty. But honestly… overrated. It’s extremely crowded (I went there off-peak season on a Wednesday), you pay $11.70 for parking to see the lake and decide the trail isn’t worth it cause you’ll be stuck in the mass. Honestly I think Lake Bow is a way prettier and less busy one.

Simply beautiful and iconic Canadian landmark. With the backdrop of the Rockies and the turquoise blue lake in front of the Chateau Fairmont makes this a very picturesque place to visit.

Pretty amazing place, just make sure you arrive early so you can enjoy the views before it gets super crowded. Hiking to the opposite end of the lake is a great way to appreciate the area without having to deal with all the other tourists. There are a lot of trails to take advantage of in the area, we easily spent 8 hours out there.
