(Translated) Breathtaking view of Lake Louise and prepare for a constant ascent on the Agnès trail. Ideal for losing weight.

One of the best trails one could ever embark upon... the stupendous views will simply blow you away. The trail starts from Lake Louise and the upward trek takes approximately 2 hours and is well worth the effort.

Nice moderate little hike 3.8kms up to tea house. Elevation gain of about 1200ft.

This trail was much harder then I anticipated ! For the whole way to the tea house you are hiking up constant elevation. It was a killer in terms of how physically draining it was but in the end you are rewarded with some amazing scenery. There are great views of lake louise along the way,as well as a small lake called mirror lake which is a perfect resting spot, finally you reach Lake Agnes and the tea house. The teahouse is cash only but has some wonderful treats. The teahouse is very busy so my wife and I went in the "to go" line and found a bench in the shade to enjoy our goodies. Pack lots of water and snacks and be ready for a tiring hike but well worth it.

Beautiful place

Awesome!!!

Awesome hike and great views, really busy trail though

Very beautiful trail and trail view point

Amazing hike to the tea house. Nice little stop for a rest.

My review is bias because I did this is December. Not a difficult route, just a steady incline. Took me about 1h. I was I avalanche territory and if I took a wrong step I was more than knee deep in snow. It did mean the path was quite clearly defined but of course the higher I went the worse the conditions were. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't at least average fitness. It's a slim path so there aren't really resting spots. I'm sure the view would be amazing on a clear day.

Not as physically demanding as I thought.

Lake Agnes Teahouse. Great view and place. Make sure to pack bag for any garbage. As no garbage bin on the area.

It took me1:40 one way to get to Lake Agnes along this trail. On the way to Lake Agnes there are several view points that allow you to enjoy the beautiful view. The first view point is located at the place of the changing direction, which offers magnificent view of Lake Louise. The lake looks much brighter from this height. The second view point is an observation deck on the Lake Mirror shore, above which a sheer cliff rises. Well, the third most exciting view point is at Lake Agnes and next to the Tea House????. There are 2 ways to get from Lake Mirror to Lake Agnes, to the left of Mirror Lake and to the right along Lake Agnes Trail. To the left of Mirror Lake is a shorter path, but steeper and more dangerous. When climbing in the place in front of the wooden ladder, I had to use my hands and knees to climb. The way back along Lake Agnes Trail to Lake Mirror seemed to me more gentle and not scary. Getting to the Tea House was a real reward for all the efforts. What a pity that it only works from June to September inclusive and was closed in mid-October. At such a time, Lake Louise has not frozen yet, but the alpine Lake Mirror and Lake Agnes have. Many people used a stick to get down. And I find it reasonable, since it is difficult to control movement diring the descent, and I was constantly flying down. Summing up, I want to say that ascent of Lake Agnes Trail is a wonderful journey filled with high physical activity, danger and beautiful views????️.

Great hike. Started around 10:30am by the end the trail was very slippery. I recommend going earlier in the day.

(Translated) From the parking lot a two-hour hike constantly uphill. The path always offers beautiful views and variety. But you should be good on foot. Hiking boots and hiking poles are appropriate, especially for the way back. We were here in October, as you should also have crampons. We were slipping on people on the butt.

(Translated) Excellent view and to make good leg (Original) Excelente vista y para hacer buena pierna

More than worth the effort.

This is like the halfway point up to the beehive. Cute pond to see.

It’s a bit of a hike but it’s doable. Once up there, you will be amazed by this fantastic scenery!

Pretty awesome views!

Great trail, easy to get to and a good spot for a snack before heading all the way up to the Teahouse. The lake is one of my favourites - the water is very blue and serene.

Amazing place

Amazing hike and relaxing cup of tea. Hike is pretty extensive but well worth it if you pace yourself..

This is not the right location. The actual viewpoint is much further up ahead.

(Translated) Very nice point of view, quite touristy and easy.

Do not miss this geogours trail.

Worth the effort - just past mirror lake.

The better spot I think is near the bus drop off. There are a couple of bench. One is on the edge of water with nice view of the lake, the mountain behind it. A great spot there for resting after a day hike, waiting for bus whiling taking pictures from where you sit and after sun is from behind. Perfect angle. Might be few people waiting to sit there in turn. To view the lake the best and great picture, you still need to hike up. We did the lake Oesa, then lake Opabin in one combined trip. 8:30am bus. Finished with more than 1 hour to spare for 6:30pm return bus. The bus pickup spot in the morning is near the turn right to parking, uphill. We were focusing on turning into the parking lot and find a spot around 8:10am. Didnt see it and in the parking lot there is another dirt road and a yellow school bus parked there. Just no tourist no park Canada people. We waited there and almost missed our bus. No sign anywhere in parking indicate where bus waiting area is. And quiet a walk from parking to bus if you are in a hurry. Cannot see it from parking lot as bus is up hill around a turn behind trees. It would be nice if Park Canada can raise few sign in parking lot pointing where day bus pickup/wait point is.

Most amazing gentle hike

One of the best places in the world

Great hike and beautiful viewpoint. Very busy trail on a gorgeous summer day.

(Translated) A must see! (Original) Imperdível!

Decent hike to the top, allowing you to see different angles of Lake Louise. The teahouse is really busy, but offers a nice reward at the top.

A moderate hike that will not disappoint. Any age can do this. If you are looking for a good workout, I recommend this hike.

(Translated) Amazing place if you like hiking, the landscapes look like movie (Original) Increíble lugar si te gusta el senderismo, los paisajes parecen de película

This is an alternate option for those who don't want to take the harder beehive trail. They call this little beehive trail and worthy he climbed. Easily doable for the kids. The views are fantastic!

Absolutely amazing view of lake louise from the little beehive lookout. If you walk past the tea house this is what you get! The water is a perfect blue green color and the Fairmont is beautiful. It is also a very easy hike so good for the whole family ! Also it's not very long so it's good for a day in the mountains.

Easy trail, lots of beatifull views, rewarding views at the top of the hill. Good for beginner hikers and experienced as well.

Amazing view

Perfect view

Beautiful landscapes

what a nice hike and fantastic view

The place is so amazing and beautiful, worth all the energy spent going up..

Everyone should try this trail. At every turn there is a other beautiful view and the Teahouse at Lake Agnes is worth the trip.

This viewpoint is one in a 1000. A must see!!!!

Beautiful!

This can be a half day activity to remember. I thought it was stunning at sunset.

The viewpoint is incredible, but it shouldn't take away from the hike. As a warning, it is mostly an uphill climb consisting of switchbacks. However, do not be deterred! This was one of our favorite hikes in the Lake Louise area. You get the serenity of the hike itself and the vistas at mirror lake, the viewpoint, and Lake Agnes. As a note, this path is likely swarmed in the summer so attempt to come during shoulder season - and bring your crampons!

Worth every step for that view, sorry not posting any photos

Beautiful

Another great hiking spot... can go up part way for great views... good for all ages

Moderate hike with several alpine lakes and offers amazing views of the mountains around Lake Louise

Beautiful hike up to the teahouse.

Perfect hike!

A beautiful uphill trail overlooking Lake Louise and the chateau, upon reaching the lakeside of Lake Agnes the vistas open up and a huge section of the nearby mountains and valley are visible. When we went it was early winter and packed snow comprises the path, be sure to wear breathable warm clothes and perhaps look to invest in some good microspikes to keep traction on the snow. If you walk at a good pace with lots of photo and rest breaks plan for 3ish hours. And if you are willing continue on up to the Big Beehive or Devils Thumb (they do add quite a bit extra elevation though).

When going on this hike be sure to bring some cash with you. By lake agnes you will arrive at a tea house that serves delicious tea and cakes! I highly recommend stopping here for lunch to soak in the nature and views!

Amazing views out over the valley and not far from the lake Agnes teahouse

It was a spectacular hike! I would highly recommend this hike if you come to lake Louise - took us 3.5 hours round trip. The way up was a bit sloppy, but you get to see Lake Louise at different angles. When you get to mirror lake and lake Agnes, the view was spectacular and undeniably one of my most memorable hikes. If you visit during the summer, it’s definitely hot, but so breezy at the top that it becomes the perfect weather

The hike is spectacular, awesome views on the ascent. I will say the hike is not an easygoing stroll. The trail has steep sections and a lot of uneven terrain. I will say though the hike was worth the effort and the view at the tea house is world class .

Great trail. Beautiful views.

(Translated) A place worth the climb! If you go around this time, wear mountain shoes because there is snow and ice.

Next level

Nice moderate hike up. I prefer the Plains of the Six Glaciers Tea House, but you should try to visit both if you can.

(Translated) Super trail and very cool tea house upstairs. The way up is not very demanding and in between you have a good view of Lake Louise. Further up the view of the entire valley is possible and you can see all three lakes excellently. You can eat and drink deliciously in the tea house and the story behind it is also very exciting. The way up is no longer so crowded and a welcome change from the hustle and bustle down by the lake.

Not an easy walk. Uphill 2.2 miles with uneven path in places. Very much worth the effort.

(Translated) The hiking trail is not difficult, many parents also climb and meet lots of friendly people who are very helpful (Original) Jalur pendakian nya tidak sulit, banyak orang tua yang juga mendaki serta banyak bertemu dengan orang - orang yang ramah dan sangat membantu

Although it was in a low level of water when I went, it worth the walk.

Worth the hike to get away from the crowds.

Beautiful!

(Translated) It was an excursion of more than an hour and we arrived very tired but it was worth it because the place is very beautiful and the landscape while one goes up too! Above is the Tea House restaurant that we liked but you have to pay with cash (so you have it very present) because there is no electricity upstairs and therefore there is no machine for card points. Thank God that we carry some cash because that took us by surprise!

(Translated) Quiet, beautiful and original. No stress other than those waiting for tables ????

Good views great hiking

It's an awsome view from here

Top

Great views and a good place to have a 5min break on the way up to the tea room!

Good hike and view. If you aren't use to elevation, be sure to give ypurself ample time, bring water and take adequate breaks. A nice pause awaits for you in the form of a tea house.

Beautiful

Stunning. Worth the 4 hr hike to the top!!!

The most breathtaking sight I have every laid eyes on. Seriously, we all just stood in silence for a bit soaking it in. The world is full of little treats and this one had no words. Worth the hike just to see this sight.

Beautiful place, highly recommend doing this with little beehive as it only adds a 20 minute extra hike once you've summited to the tea house. Would recommend also to bring some water and some snacks to enjoy at the top. Once you've summited to little beehive, you can climb back down to a fork in the road, one leading back to where you came (tea house) or back to the trail way below the tea house. Saves extra time for the way down! Pro tip: go diagonal on the trails down, as it is steep and can make you run too quickly on the way down.

(Translated) Can't be more beautiful than this (Original)

Great tea room

Worth the hike

It was beautiful and well worth the hike

If you like long walks in one of the most beautiful places on earth then you will be fully satisfied with the effort. It is in the mountains so it isn't worth out some effort but the trail is wide and level with several switch backs to keep the steepness as minimum as possible on the side of a mountain. Loved it!

(Translated) I loved it is a wonderful place (Original) Me encantó es un lugar maravilloso

So beautiful! Definitely worth the hike to get there.

Fantastic. Great hike but more importantly great views. Worth it.

It’s about a 2 hour hike up hill the whole way. But the end result is worth it. Just look at the pics!

I pretty enjoyed hiking the Lake Agnes trail in a cold day of September. One of the best experiences I have ever had!

Excellent views, a bit of a challenging hike. We went to the tea House at the top, it was busy outside, but very quiet. Recommended

Great hike, tea house a must.

Beautiful!!!

Breathtaking view.

Not too difficult of a hike with great views of lake Louise through the trees along the way.

Great trail but very crowded. The hike is a little steep but well worth getting to the Beehive, tea house or Lake Agnes.

Great trail with views of Lake Louise and the Fairmont. Trail is fairly crowded even on weekdays. Definitely worth the effort.

nicewalk

I am not an avid hiker, this would've been easier with spike shoes as the trail turned to ice 1/2 way up. I saw several slips, surprisingly not me! From the top the chalet looks like a child's miniature toy. Lake Louise was frozen, but we could see glimpses of that coveted blue color from the mountain top looking towards the back side of the lake..stunning! We got rain and snow most of this hike. I imagine if uphill climbing is your only battle, you can do it!! It's worth it!!

(Translated) Really a very nice hikes, one of the two main at Lake Louise. Very happy to have done it, easy enough level of difficulty. Leads directly to two very beautiful lakes and a waterfall. Very nice view of the area once arrived at the tea house.

Best Views ❤

Love love love love love!!!

Well worth the hike! This place is Beautiful!

Incridible views

Great hike up and back. Beautiful place.

Amazing hike. Long climb that worth the effort.

Great hike with great views

Fantastic winter hike, wish I brought snowshoes.

One of my favorite lookouts on our entire trip—highly recommend!!

Nice lake with cozy teahouse

Great views, very peaceful

IT's magic

Pricey but what a view

Great hike with simply put amazing views. In the winter it can become strenuous but if you are used to walking it’s really no issue. Fun hike overall that will take you a couple of hours depending on your speeds. It is quite some elevation gain but you will get rewarded with amazing views. Make sure to bring snow shoes in the winter and walking sticks as you will need them since the snow can get very high. Amazing views! Would recommend to anyone in the St. Louise area!

Nice experience. You walk for an hour and suddenly a cottage is there on the brink of a lake and you are served by English people providing scones and tea. A bit surreal but differently a visit worth. The scones and tea is wonderful.

Beautiful hike. Stop at Lake Agnes Tea House for tea.

Fantastic views and a great walk , a must when in the area.

Gorgeous views

View is not worth the hike. Tea house is amazing !

Decent view towards Mirror Lake and Lake Louise, but if you have the stamina, there's far more scenic views available.

This trail is a dream on earth. It’s everything you could ever ask for. Pure Nature. So peaceful. A deafening silence which makes it more stimulating and alluring. We couldn’t make it till the end of it since we started hiking maybe around 2:30ish and we were making stop to admire the stunning and silent scenery around us. I was so jubilant to be there. The hike is very doable and easy, just bring the right clothes and some liquid to hydrate yourself. Try to start hiking early especially during winter time. You don’t wanna be in the dark by 4pm in the middle of the woods with no flashlight. Just come prepare depending on what you want to do. All I want is to come back to this magnificent place sometime during spring/summer and late fall. I’d like to see it again as I did this time, no crowds. Maybe, I was super fortunate.

(Translated) As an old and undressed man, I took 1, 5 hours to reach the finish. It was worth it although it was still very cold and snow and ice was still everywhere.

Gorgeous

Beautiful and easy hike. Really enjoyed. Though we went up to Devil’s Thumb.

Very beautiful trial. Do not recommend for children. Make sure wear hiking boots and bring enough water, 2 liter per person.

How do I rate this place anything but amazing?

You'll get great views on this trail, make sure you bring a windbreaker (it gets chili when the sunset starts), food and water on your backpack. From here you can go to Lake Agnes (where there's a Tea House!) and if you continue you can go to The big beehive or the little beehive.
