Had such an amazing experience with Brewsters Lake Louise Stables! My friend and I did the 4-hour Plains of Six Glaciers trail ride and it was outstanding! Our guide Georgie was knowledgable, enthusiastic and made the experience truly remarkable. The horses are treated incredibly well, and seeing the care that the staff put into the horses reaffirms that this experience was well worth it. I would highly recommend Brewster Lake Louise Stables to anyone wishing to see Lake Louise from a different perspective.

I would give 5 stars had the staff not be so rude. It was a two hour hours ride to the back of the lake, the view on the way was ok but lake was largely blocked by the thick tree bushes. However, the view was amazing when you reach the end of the lake where the tree lines have slowly disappeared . Although it was one of the most beautiful spot on this planet , the lead guide denied my request for wanting stay there for thirty more seconds. She said if I want to take a moment to take pictures, I have to get down and walk back myself. Let me repeat it , it was a two hour horse ride and we couldn’t take a measly thirty seconds at the highlight spot of the whole ride.

I booked the ride to Lake Agnes tea house. The return trip ride was the perfect length to view this stunning scenery. My guide was Georgie and she knew her stuff about the area and the wildlife (and we saw whitetail deer!). Highly recommended Ps you’ve got to try the banana bread when you get to the tea house.

Last December (2019) my husband and I went on one of the group winter sleigh rides around lake Louis. You meet in the fairmont to sign in, and are met outside alongside the rest of the guests by the horses, sleigh, and drivers! We were lucky enough to be with them on the FIRST ride of the 2018 season. The path at the end where they stop and turn around wasn’t quite complete yet, but even with that it was a super pleasant experience! The drivers were fun and chatty, the horses were obviously well trained and treated highly. I absolutely recommend this activity!

The service was great. The destination Lake Head Ride was beautiful. It goes through the forest and along Lake Louise. Highly recommend!

We went on the tea lake horseback ride and were left abit disappointed. The trail is pure mud and, although it is very scenic, were were constantly berated by the guide to keep moving. There were no opportunities to stop and take pictures along the way, or to explore mirror lake. There is also no narration or explanation of the views and old growth trees that line the trails. You are given only 15 minutes at the Tea Lake which gives you just enough time to grab a quick takeout treat, hit the bathroom and take a picture - there is no time to really look around. Thankfully it was not our son's first time horseback riding as his horse was quite wild. We were also not given any parking instructions and ended up wasting over 2 hours parking at the lot on the highway and taking the shuttle bus up to Lake Louise - though the stable told us when we finally arrived that we could have parked on their lot. Next time, I would just hike it! Not worth the money.

Old business with lots of history. Beautiful trail with VIEWS.

Really an awful place. They don’t treat their horses well at all and treat their staff even worse. The horses don’t get hay for 10 hours straight everyday and some of them are taking for trail rides that entire time. Even if their not in the trail, they have their saddles on and get horrible sores that the place doesn’t care about. A big horse named “Lou” has cushings disease and they make him do long rides and don’t treat the disease at all! Most of the horses have at least one shoe missing so have terribly sore feet but the owner is too cheap to get them properly done. Really cruel people here, please don’t support a business that borderline abuses these precious horses. Pics are of terribly muddy trails and a horse, all ribs showing, standing in a foot of poo and filth.

In September 2020 for my 50th Birthday we went to Lake Louise and did the Horseback riding from Brewster Adventure up to the Lake Agnes Tea House. We had never been to Alberta or done horseback riding before, a first for both. Our Guide was absolutely fantastic!! She gave us wonderful horses to ride and great instructions. She also gave us lots of information, interesting stories, and lots of laughs on our ride up to the Tea House and back down to the stables. It was such a wonderful experience we can't wait to go to Lake Louise again and to do another ride with Brewster Adventures. maybe the next one will be in the winter and a sleigh ride across the Lake. We definitely recommend riding with them when you are up in the area!! You will have a GREAT time!!

I was there August 29th for a ride to the back of the lake. Had an awesome view. I had Georgie as a tour guide, and she did a great job explaining the area of the lake and surrounding area. She had great suggestions on where to visit and eat while I was there. Will definitely be back for a longer ride in the future.

I called a few days before the ride and they were able to accommodate my daughter. We met at the stables adjacent to the Chateau at Lake Louise behind the teepee as you are driving up to the hotel. The horses were in corrals and were saddled up and ready to go. A few adjustments to the stirrups and she was off on her 1/2 day excursion to the Lake Agnes Tea House. There was only 4 others on her ride. She is experienced so the ride was easy for her.

Amazing experience. Great staff and horses were easy to ride. Totally recommended for anyone who wants something different.

Unfriendly sleigh driver did not make for a pleasant Holiday experience. Would not recommend on level of friendliness again. At one point an elderly pedestrian fell in the snow and was unable to get up as she was forced out of the way of the sleigh, and despite the driver having seen this, did not acknowledge it or ask if she was okay, and continued on as though nothing has happened.

My sister and I wanted to let you know we had a wonderful experience August 8, 2018. We took your 4 hr horseback ride at Lake Louise to the Tea House. Our guide, an Australian accented young lady, was very knowledgeable and shared details of the local nature. She also was an excellent trail boss. We’ve been on many rides but this one we rated our best ever ride because of her, the well trained horses and stunning scenery. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for a trail ride today and had the best experience! Kennedy was our guide and she was amazing; both knowledgeable and helpful. The horses are well cared for and the views were spectacular!

Our trail ride to the Lakehead was amazing. The horses were extremely well cared for and very tolerant of novice riders. Our guide, Georgie, was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable on the area providing lots of information and making the whole experience an awesome one. She earned every penny of her gratuity. Highly recommended way to see this spectacular scenery.

Tea house ride was incredible, my mum n I have never ridden. The brewster ponies know what they are doing and need just enough prodding along to give you an interesting intro to horseback trail riding! Guide was incredible, fun knowledgeable and a great teacher and camera woman! Bring cash for the tea house!

If I could give no stars I would. This place is run and managed by people who do not care for their horses, nor their employees. I was told by "Barn Manager" Cindy that AT LEAST 4 of their horses have feet problems (Cushings, Lameness etc.) Not to mention the saddle sores. None of these horses look healthy. The owner Lacey is very rude, unprofessional, and is only focused on getting people in and paying. I was present when Lacey was telling the trail guides on June 16 to rush people through the trails, no stopping for pictures or sight seeing, because they have to stick to "scheduled ride times" - Why not just let people enjoy their ride?!These people should not be running a business, and these horses should not be ridden anymore.

It was my daughters birthday and all she wanted was to go spend time with mom and maybe go horseback riding. We backpack a lot, we love and understand the outdoors but this was something else. So I did a surprise birthday trip 4 days with mom and horses. What she got was a major heath risk. This company offers 2 and 4 day pack trips via "programmed horses". When we started out we had so much excitement and happiness. We were told they provide bedding, food and all we need to bring is clothing and hygiene items (not sure the point considering). When we arrived at the first cabin it started to go down hill fast. The "kitchen cabin" was not rustic, it was abandoned! Mice droppings all over everything...okay that can happen, however the second "kitchen cabin" had been left with a fried mouse on the stove and a molding coffee pot. Then the cabins we were told to sleep in had the bedding in them with mice and god knows what else droppings all over them. In the morning my daughter woke to a bat fling around in our cabin. The table we sat at to eat our dinner was surrounded with dead fly's and mice droppings. 2016 was the date on the tea and coffee creamer provided for us. I could not get off this carousel fast enough. My daughter to young to understand the health concern did enjoy the trip however I the paying customer was appalled at the lack of support the staff had. Guides were two 18yr olds on the first and fourth trip ever were trying so hard to figure it out, I really wish them luck because management is failing them! The staff are stars for trying.
