You will be able to see the feddbacks of people like you who are purchasing the products of Rapids Park (Tourist Attraction) in La Salle (Canada).
Right now this firm receives a score of 4.7 over 5 and that score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is almost the best one, and it's based on a very large number of opinions, so we can conclude that the rating is very faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they are happy, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of Park.
nice spot to get away from the crowd. Good fishing and friendly locals.
Love this place. Whenever I just want to take a walk I go there. Amazing view and never too crowded
The view was perfect.
Look for the bird sanctuary
Very nice place to relax
Very beautiful in fall. But at the start of summer, as there is no greenery yet, it is much like a forest full of leaf-less trees. And we can enjoy kayaking near the park. So, it's a beat place for a desperate day-off.
Amazing... simple as that!!!
Couldn't get it to closer to rapids as the Parc to that area was closed by hydro Quebec indefinitely. But I've been there before and will get more pics next time
Beautiful spot for birdwatching!
My favourite place to hang out with my fiancée. Nice scenery.
Nice place!!!!!
Wonderful power of nature ???? If you pass by
It's a beautiful park!
So lovely, peaceful place that you can listen to water flows and observe a lot of Canada goose.
Best in montreal
Beautiful walkway! Glorious view of the skyline leaves you breathless.
Beautiful and tranquile. The bird sanctuary is home to many beautiful fauna and other wild life.
Best place in the city of Montreal for all kinds of activity. A long the river. Just go and find your spot. Enjoy .
Nice place to hang around after a long walk
A scenic gateway especially suited for families.
Beautiful park, we had loads of fun. Be ready to walk????♀️????♂️though so wear comfy shoes ????????????.
Beautiful park with incredible rapids and animals and birds and fish and many things... you typically see when you're out of the city however this park happens to be not all that far and is part of Montreal!
A very peaceful and clean place. Great idea to have free parking. Missing a bathroom is needed.
Beautiful park
beautiful park to go for a one hour walk. Not really for hiking but still the scenery is gorgeous especially on a sunny day. Not easily accessible by metro :(
what a beautiful park!
This is a beautiful park. Bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery. No bikes allowed past the gates.
Its amazing great view
Nice place...
Nice little park that gives you a great view on the rapids. Must be beautiful when all the migration birds are there.
A hidden gem right in the city! The trails are beautiful to walk and watching the rapids speed by is both calming and invigorating. We go there everytime we visit the city in the summer.
Small but beautiful place to relax and enjoy surveying the nature. I love this place!
Lovely place to keep coming back to
Nice place for a beautiful view of the blue water
Very well maintained park with plenty of room to have a picnic or play an impromptu sport.
Lovely walking path with great views, clean and well maintained as a park overall
Very nice
Amazing park, where it's easy to watch birds and nature and their best! I go all year long, is really nice to get in touch with nature while living in a city!
Peaceful and beautiful place. Must visit.
I love this place as there are birds everywhere and summer nights you can see fireflies sometimes
Absolutely beautiful place to spend the afternoon! Pack a picnic and the fishing gear and fo have yourself one hell of an enjoyable afternoon!!! Bring a camera,,, there are lots of beautiful things to snap away at!!! Especially the baby geese,, they are adorable!!! Peace out and pay it forward everyone!!
It's a very nice place to ride a bike or relax and watch the river.
Beautiful place for a run or a picnic
Great green space
Very nice place, tons of birds and wildlife if your are into either relaxing in nature or photography
Beautiful and peaceful. Amazing birds.
Beautiful place to hang out.
Beautiful park zen . Lovly flowers great sound of the water and waves .just a lovely spot with amazing nature and so many wild life to see just so close to home . A must check out spot
Quite liked the place, though it was way too hot and humid on the day when we visited. It wasn't very busy and part of the park was closed off. The water looked a bit too dangerous to kayak in and we didn't see anyone in the parts with strongest current, though there were a few people further down the river, so they may have gone through the rapids.
I was really looking forward to this park I wanted to get up and close to the rapids it's one of the reasons why I came up this way, so I can see the incredible for of this natural phenomenon. The park was closed and it seemed to be closed for a while and it was never indicated on my GPS which was unfortunate i had to view the rapids from a view far distance.
Absolutely amazing. Such a nice nature with spectacular views of waves and seabirds.
Lovely quite place tons of animals got to see some baby geese and a groundhog lots of birds
One of my favorite Parks for Great Blue Herons, White Egrets and ducks of all types. Canada Geese are currently nesting.
Beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, most of it was closed due to covid restrictions. But I'll definitely be back when this is all over!
Awesome park next to the river.
Nice park. Clean beautiful view. Good place for outdoor workout
Very quite and clean place beside st lawrence river to enjoy fresh air all year!
Pure enchantment by the St-Lawrence river rapids. This promenade has been routed with brilliantly crafted railings, benches, picnic tables and to top it off...even garbage cans. I was incredibly impressed with the whole process that went into highlighting this gem of a place. The bonus...it's all free! Now for an important security suggestion...place some key barriers where one can fall off many points along the paths...very dangerous! To conclude...thanks for showcasing such an amazing place.
In this location you can get great pictures. You can bring your kids, take pictures of birds, sunrise and sunset. Also this is a bird sanctuary. It's beautiful. Photographers like this place for wedding photography. If you're a photographer you need to check this park. You can take walks here and run. The best times are sunrises and sunsets to visit this location.
Great place just to sit on a bench, eat a sandwich and relax. Please note: bikes are not allowed.
It is nice place to have walk with the kids. Like small forest????
River surfing ????
Been here because the national park was full. And the rapids are quite impressive to look at. Other than that, it's a casual walk with a path in the nature.
Great place to watch shore birds.
Fantastic spot for bird photography... or just to stroll and relax.
Awesome easy walk next to the river and the sound of the rapids is just so soothing and beautiful???? no public toilet though close by, or we did not see one. Other than that you can have a little picnic there with family.
Very beautiful and peaceful place. A must visit for bird lovers. Lot of benches to sit and enjoy. Can rent bixi cycles also. Convenient to reach by public transport.
Beautiful place
Great walk. Amazing view of the rapids.
Beautiful, clean, near a river
There is plenty of parking. It is a peaceful and relaxing walk.
nice place, don't fall in the water!
Was waiting for this place to open all pandemic. :) Wonderful piece to see the rapides. No safety fence so keep an eye out for your kids. The sounds of the waves are really calming.
Nice view of the river
Lovely place; a definitely must see. Plan for at least 2-3 hours there.
Beautiful place by the water for a stroll.
Grant park with many wild animals
It's for the birds. ????
My favorite place !!!
Went on a cloudy day but really cool spot! Definitely need to come back and have a picnic and walk to the little Island. Cool marble sculpture as well. Very quaint "getaway" from the city with open water views and sound!
Nice park, unfortunately Rapids section is closed off right now so couldnt see them
Enjoy walking there, very nice and beautiful.
Enjoyed a lovely little picnic in the park. Very relaxing and beautiful
Great little piece of nature steps from the city. Though, as often when it's free, it attracts people that just don't know how to live in society.
Nice parc but Dogs are forebiden even on leash.
Beautiful park. It's a great place to relax in nature.
Beautiful by all means
View is amazing. Nice little ice cream shop nearby
Great place to walk and see birds and ducks and geese.
Fantastic getaway into nature beauties. I love it all the year round. Early mornings when the fog is coming up above the water or in winter after heavy snowfall: when the trees are all white and silent
Very spectacular park with great view toward lake!
I went there really often in my life, it is a beautiful peace of nature in our way too urban montreal, BUT if like me you like to relax in a smoke free environment this is not the place, people smoke marijuana and cigarettes and so the place smells bad.
Must see
I love it there, the sound of birds, river, and wind. What a masterpiece. It has bicycle road. Not crowded. Even the smell is very nice, really peaceful place, the only problem is there are so many bugs there.
Beautiful little park with many cozy places to sit, relax and cool down in the shadow. Right next to the rapids it's nicely refreshing in the summer. Definitely recommend visiting this park, it's easy to get to as well.
Great walking spot!
Great place. It has rapid waters on one side and completely calm waters on the other. Beautiful in any time of the year. More people on weekends. So if you would like to really enjoy the calmness and beauty of it - come weekdays anytime. A lot of birds of different kinds, sometimes migrating and will be on this peninsula for a few weeks then disappear for years... You'll love it. My favorite place for years.
Amazing palce for walking
Great parc, some picnic tables are available.
Great place for a brisk Sunday afternoon walk.
Beautiful views. Stunning contrast between the rapids side and the pond/wetlands side, simultaneously within view.
Small park but amazing view of the rapids. Connected to bicycle path that goes to downtown (about 10 km). A great bicycle trip during summer.
Awesome place. Mesmerizing currents...nicely maintained path. Great for taking scenic pix
A beautiful gem where you can appreciate the force of the St. Laurent rapids
Beautiful and calm.
Nice 15m walk to the look out. Some fishing.
My go to place to relax... Love this place !!!
I can walk here every day. This place never gets old.
Beautiful and interesting park. It's a bird sanctuary but also a historical place as it is the place where Jacques Cartier got stuck with his ships. These rapids create a barrier and are the reason that Montreal became such an important hub.
Beautiful green space. Great view of the rapids. Many species of birds to see there and sometimes even beavers.
Beautiful age old place to relax by the fast moving St Lawrence river. Lots of birds and fast moving rapids.Dont let kids get close. Too dangerous. Fishers must wear life jackets. Nice place for a picnic lunch for a small group.
Nice view and weather was extremely peaceful
Beautiful place. Not too crowded.
Great park. Nice little escape from the city life while still being in the city.
Wonderful place to birdwatch. The view of the rapids is impressive.
Can't wait for Spring. Wonderful scenery, different kinds of wildlife, lots of people out enjoying the outdoors. A little piece of heaven in my neighborhood.
Nice park, good fishing spot.
Beautiful spot to enjoy the rapids and a lovely bird sanctuary.
A wonderful natural spot for Plein Air Painting. Everywhere you look, there's a painting to be made!
I love to walk around this park and shoot images of the nature, the ducks, the geese. Even hunting Pokemon in PokemonGo I've spent hours walking around this park and it was never a dull moment.
The nicest Park in LaSalle!!
Very nice open park with lots of open space. There is also a ???? sanctuary in the back with a nice view of the rapids which I was quite surprised to see as I was not aware that it existed. The bike path also makes it easily accessible and there is even a Bixi station, the last one going west so an easy bike to the metro.
Natural and quiet place!!!! Beautiful
One of my favorite places in LaSalle ❤
Be it summer or winter, rapids park is a fun place to be.
Beautiful walking paths , nicely maintained. Lots of space , trees . Ideal spot to relax, picnic or play games . Certain parts have Canada geese roaming around , which is nice . For the more adventurous folks, there is a lovely beaten path along the shore.
Beautiful park with wildlife and local fauna. You can get very close to the rapids (watch the kids!) which are sight to behold. We've taken many out-of-towners there and all loved it, want to go back. Bike path goes right by there and makes for a lovely ride.
Nice walk with picnic tables
Awesome nature reserve. Additional site access, paths, bridges, dams and benches add to the Natural Beauty of the Lachine Rapids.
First time but best of the best feeling and fantastic views
Nice park with a great view of the rapids.
So peaceful and lots of birds. Nice water views too!
It's a nice place to rest if you're running or biking near the riverbed. Though the river is littered with trashes which makes a disgusting sight. There are some migratory birds that come by every spring so it makes a good spot for birding. The place is situated in a pretty isolated area and it's not easy to get by public transit. Cleanliness is also an issue as people don't throw their trashes properly (or is it because there trash bins don't get empty often?)
Nice place for quick walk and bbq (no facility tho, so be prepared)
A beautiful park to unwind in, alongside the river. Always beautiful no matter what season!
Went there to take some pictures by the river. Great preserve. A lot of wildlife and a pleasant walk. Plenty of parking.
Beautiful nature at its best. So calming the waves. Nice places for picnic biking etc...
Park looks very nice with the St. Laurent river. Its a lot to discover there. You need to be prepared that it might be much colder there because of the river.
Lovely place amazing afternoon with my little boy :-)
Great place to stay for a picnic or BBQ, this part of the river is impressive and amazing one side is calm and other has a lot of current. Really good for a walk, read a book or share with family and friends.
This Park has been beautifully preserved. It was inaccessible in the 1960s and as kids We would cross the old power dams to get to the island. The place is great today for a walk and picnic.
So facinating place.
Took a walk last night, in December. Was pretty cold and windy but ...no bugs! Yeah, very nice calm walk in this beautiful natural park, will go back again and again. Recommended.
Nice beautiful and peaceful place to go for a jog or walk.
Rapids Park and Saint-Laurent's riverside- one of the main reasons why I love and live in LaSalle!
Nice to hang around, nice view but not much to do
Really nice place to go and enjoy the nature and the rapids.
Nice place to fish or just hang out with the family.
Very nice place to take a walk or go fishing. Parking is free too wich is great. I enjoy the place alot since its not too far from my home. I recommend it.
It's hard to explain how beautiful this place is. You need to go feel it.
Very nice park☺️
I can't explain it. You must go to see and feel it. 'Heaven'
Beautiful place for taking walks and enjoy nature.
Beautiful park beside Lawrence river, good outing spot for families .just 30 mins from downtown.Take metro to STATION DE L'ÉGLISE and take Bus #58 to 5th avenue....there is a nice cafe opposite to this park where they serve yummy sandwiches, icecreams, wraps.
Great location near Saint Lawrence rapids, cool breezes on warm days in summer, it’s known as a migratory birds sanctuary, very nice for a walk or jog, free parking and no entry fees
soccer- tennis -swim pool -playground -library -maxi
Highly recommended!
Small but nice, full of birds, place to sit and relax, fishing, etc.
Amazing views and perfect for walking
Beautiful park in the summer. Very lush and green.
Nice walking trail, but found it a little over crowded
Another gem in this wonderful city. Nice place for ???? watching, picnicking , jogging etc... Love going there early in the morning to watch the ducks swimming in the cool and calm waters. The Rapids are also awesome to watch ????
A great place to get lost in nature, have a picnic with family and/or observe some pretty spectacular birds and waterfowl. Easily accessible by public transportation as well!
A nice park to walk on. It has beautiful view to the river
Beautiful, under-appreciated area in Montreal. Great scenery and very relaxing atmosphere.
Great place to go relax Also a bird sanctuary. So scenic.
Great family time! Felt surreal Didn’t even think a place like that could exist in Montreal. Good job ???????? keep it up
It was a beautiful day today and as always, it was very nice to take a walk in Des Rapides Park. If you ever have questions about the park or about any of the wildlife that is around, or even about what kind of fish ???? are in the river, there is usually someone that is working there that can answer your questions.
Calming and peaceful especially when you watch the water flow.... u can also run along the water. It a sight to not be missed
A protected bird sanctuary and an excellent place for a stroll or picnic. Great for the kids and the entire family. It offers a unique view of nature within the city. The view is of the Lachine rapids are amazing. Great place for picture taking and bird watching. It's also a good place to fish. Easily accessible and there's ample parking and best it's situated along the bike path.
A place where you can experience peace. Admire flowers, birds and nature. Hear the rushing water.
Beautiful scene winter spring summer and fall
Beautiful park. Great for observation.
Very nice view
Nice park with lovely views of the rapids
So beautiful
Very beautiful and calm place for a walk or picnic with your girl! The scenery is awesome and the cool breeze for the rapids is soothing... bring you camera...
The view of the river is wonderful; and the roaming geese and ducks ... from the road, on your car. Their poops stink; and you can not walk, sit or lay on the grass without stepping on it.
A truly peaceful place
Another sweet nature spot in Montreal
GEESE NO FEAR 9F HUMANS
So relaxing especially in the morning. I am a photographer and I go here at least once a week to take photos of birds.
The beautiful park where the Island meets the river and you can walk along the mighty lachine rapids. There's abundant bird life including great blueherons, Canada geese, ducks, red wing black birds and more.
River is at arms distance. The flow and pace of rapids is both exhilarting and frightening
Piece full and Calm.
Amazing place to hang out with friends and family!
Good variety, I seldom go there. You can find stuff that you cannot find in some other places. Good quality stuff! I would go there every time in the future. You should look at what they offer and choose what is best for you! Very nice place and I will go there again in the future, I like that is not far from where I live and it’s not very busy in the week-ends. I’m sure you’ll find it pleasant easy accessible and comforting.
Beautiful park with nice walking trail. Fantastic nature. Water bodies around are amazing. Can spot some birds like ducks and seagulls. View of the rapids are brilliant and soothing to just sit and relax in the park.
Beautiful place for share with family, friends or even alone.
Watching the water flow over the rapids is lovely and mesmerizing. And the water fowel is fun to watch, on the quiet part of the park.
Just beautiful
It is the river of LaSalle.
Very soothing and peaceful place for jogging or to go for a biking.
Really close to the city. Nice place to spend several hours with family.
Great for a family outing, breathtaking views.
A great park in the river. Good for a stroll, birdwatching, people watching.
Lovely pick nick spot
Great spot for walking or a picnic. Space is limited.
Good place to hangout, every where it shws open but when you visit it is closed. That's disappointment we had to face.. other than nature is calling you
Beautiful. Clean, well kept. Some picnic tables , benches, but not enough. Blvd. St Joseph, along the river has alot to expore. Just like old Montrel.
One of the prettiest parks around. Parking can be a bit difficult but definitely worth it. Watch out for geese poop!
Love this place! Very calm and versatile.
Always good to go there and relax. The sound of the water running is quite soothing. Don't forget to stop by for an ice-cream across the street.
On days you just want to sit back in contentment, and reflect in silence. This is the place for you. I describe it as nature's serenity. Very amazing landscape.
Saw a beautiful Heron and two cormorants. My friend got pooped on ????. Water was nice.
Really good place to take some air and take a long walk on,only issue would be the eminence amount of Canadian Geese
It is a good place to take a rest and do some outdoor activities with friends and family. You also can fishing on the lake, but you need buy a fishing permit.
Beautiful park
Amazing place
One of the most breathtaking parks in the city. Surrounded by water, and populated by countless species of birds, it's an ideal place for a relaxing stroll or a picnic.
The rushing water swirling around this island Park is hypnotic. No bicycles allowed in the park, but it's easy to walk the full length and the views are amazing. Easy to get free parking in the entrance or nearby on the street. This place is special, worth the trip and the walk. Electric wheelchairs and similar modes of transportation are permitted.
I wish they had public restrooms. Otherwise this is a great place to hang out. Beautiful view!
A very very nice park, big, and clean, very special place.
Gorgeous walk to see the rapids. Especially liked when you were in the centre and the water on one side was beautiful and calm with people paddle boarding, and you looked to the other side and the rapids were raging.
Beautiful despite the cloudy conditions
Absolutely great place
The best park! Must see if you are near Lasalle.
Great view, near the river side... Great for a jog or a Sunday stroll with family
+22 in November!!!amazing day
You can take very nice & long nature walks in this Park but beware of mosquitos & mud since it's by the water .
Very nice park. Best biking trail ever! Also nice to see people surf
Always a pleasure to take nice long strolls and enjoy the bird sanctuary at the Rapides parc with the sound of the water trickling in the background of the songbirds singing in the park.
Nice place but not many benches to sit
Beautiful park
Great place to hang out. Lots of quiet spots by the river.
Great place to hang out. Lots of quiet spots by the river.
Fun place to walk around and relax by the water
loved it absolutely........best for walks jogging picnics and romantic advances
you can take buses and enjoy the impressive view
Great place to relax and enjoy lasalle
Beautiful Parks Canada bird sanctuary, be respectful towards the geese and you will get some very memorable photos and if you're lucky a very up close view of these beautiful birds. Land bridge leads over to the Machine Rapids where there are multiple benches and picnic tables, wonderful views of the rapids themselves as well as a week crafted and maintained park area with flowers and trees which enhances the experience. Definitely worth the trip and the time to see a wonderful gift from nature. The washrooms are located in a nearby public stage, but, they are a bit of a disaster sadly.
This place gives you small picture of the Niagara falls!
Great packrafting and amazing bird life.
Really peaceful place for a walk
Beautiful walk paths. Refreshing and mind calming place.
Nice place to enjoy with family ,
A little piece of nature's heaven in the city.
Another beautiful day...I love MTL!
Great park by the river.
Great parc, beautiful sights and wilderness. Well protected.
Nice ecological walking trail and watching the Rapids are amazing.
Pleasant ????
This is where I go for my morning walk every day. You’ll see plenty of geese with their young in the month of May and plenty of other wildlife. My only complaint is that I feel the borough is cutting down numerous trees for what I see as no reason. I could understand if a tree is dead so be it, but to cut down trees that appear healthy and strong and then just leave the stumps all over the place is despicable. Also, who gets to keep all that firewood? Hmm ... Another complaint I have is the over zealous cutting down of plants deemed to be invasive such as phragmites and mullein. To some these plants may be an eyesore but to others they are a thing of beauty. These plants beautify the shoreline but some people just can’t see that.
Very nice park. Great place for a walk and urban wildlife.
Very nice place to walk around. Nice view on the Lasalle rapids. Excellent place to do bird observation. Major improvements have been made to pathways and access during summer 2016. Free access
Great place very clean and relaxing
Such amazing connection with the nature inside this big town! Everything is breathtaking : vegetation, wildlife and the rapids.
Refreshing place with lots of happy people watching the river. Small park but big space.
It's an amazing place to relax, read a book, ride your bike, run
Perfect spot for fresh and delicious food!
Beautiful to sit and relaxe. Listen to the water.
Love to spent time whenever I can
This is an amazing place with gorgeous view
Very charm and quite place.
Been running around this place almost every day for the past 2 years. Beautiful. Municipality of LaSalle just needs to deal with the grotesque amount of goose poo.
Always an amazing place to go, bring your friends and family of all ages. Bathrooms are easily located and there is a lot of nature/wild life to look at and enjoy. I would recommend that everyone who goes to these places remember to acknowledge the land and the native peoples who are the Stewart's(care-takers) of the land. We must always acknowledge the Kanien'keha:ka People's for what we all have today.
Fantastic and memorable place.
Beautiful park hiding in Nuns Island.
The good place for rest, hiking, game , picnic.
GORGEOUS view and adore the intense waves crashing by!! Could sit by the water for hours listening to the rushing waterway.
Good place for fishing or just for walk.
Super nice place to go walking around, plenty activities available like paddle boarding and surfing ! Great spot
Absolutely beautiful year-round, park guides and nature activities on weekends in summer. Spectacular views of the rapids. Always interesting birds to watch, other animals (i.e. beavers, foxes) shier and harder to spot. The scientific fishing activity every Sunday at 13h00 in summer is really interesting to watch.
Lachine Rapids, the St. Lawrence River, surfers, public art installations. If you walk a ways upriver, the surfers are right by the shore, making for an entertaining place to stop.
It was a nice park to stop by and take a short walk around with kids.
Nice place to walk and picnic in the summer
IT'S THE BEAUTIFUL RIVER.. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?!
A great place to take a nature walk. Right by the water. Quiet and serene
It has a spectacular scenery recommended for all of you
Amazing location. A fairy wonderland! Peace and tranquility on one side, chaos and the awesome power of nature on the other. One of Montreal greatest parks. The work by the maintenance team is A+
This is an excellent park. Taking advantage of the site of a former hydroelectric dam, the rapids provide a really interesting backdrop to a bird sanctuary. Full of nice foot paths, with benches and hidden areas all over it's a great place to spend an afternoon bird-watching, reading a book, or just watching the water rush past.
Clean,Park, Free parking, lots of tables to eat at with your love ones & family and outdoor gatherings are permitted, as long as respecting the protocols. Very nice views. Beautiful place to take your kids. Beautiful place to walk, long walks, bicks not allowed inside
Peaceful and relaxing. Take your time and smell the roses. Stop and dip your feet in the cool lake. I actually got to see a Heron sitting on a rock with the cool rapid waters over it's feet, awaiting it's prey.
Wow, it's great to feel nature within the city at this sanctuary, should bring small picnic basket after the visit seat adjacent the sanctuary on the provided picnic tables and look at it while munching.
Beautiful Day! ????
Excellent great walking paths by the watwr
One of the most unique parks in Montreal. A small one, but with a big variety of birds to watch. The views of Lachine Rapids are epic
Beautiful, great for walking and duck sighting!
Wonderful outdoor wildlife refuge. Taking a walk and enjoying the wildlife and listening to the rapids nearby. Multiple walking and bike paths to get you around. Or bring a blanket and just sit on the grass and enjoy lunch.
It is beautiful small park. Definitely you should see it if you are visiting Montreal Plenty of benches and ???? make it great
The most beautiful park in Canada with a great ambience of st Lawrence river.
Nice place for a walk or small picnic.
The park is beautiful no matter what time of year.
It's a really chill place you can come with family, very beautiful nature
Outdoor walking does the body good????
Nice park for family gathering, running, biking, doing sport with a nice view of river
Absolutely stunning this time of year. The trees have started changing colour and the sound of the water is very relaxing.
One of the best place to visit in Montreal!!!
Walking, running, picnicking, or a quiet stroll along the waterfront. Usually open all spring to fall except if flooding rick has been declared. A very nice leanyer park with access to waterfront.
Amazing walk beside the rapids
Beautiful nature
Awesome place. Makes u forget ur in the city
Just love water !+ Nice picturesque view all over the water front Many place to relax or have BBQ between loved ones
Terrific, beautiful park at the edge of Verdun. Definitely worth visiting while in the area. Great place for biking, throwing a ball around, playing some volleyball, or even going swimming. Check out the surfers in the rapids.
Love this place. River St. Lawrence at its best
A picture perfect place for a picnic or peaceful get away.
Peaceful and serene ... The Birds are gentle and quite interesting to watch
Always beautiful and peaceful
Love it
I kicked the Lorax in the balls
This is a beautiful park where one can relax, walk, or enjoy the views. The birds are tame and will not run away. They will actually approach you. There are many of them long the paths and in the water. The quiet water and the rapids are breathtaking. At a temperature of 25C outside, the cool breeze feels wonderful. There are many beautiful places to sit down and enjoy. I did.
Beautiful views, lots of birds, a nice walking path.
Beautiful scenery but frozen ice on whole path very slippery must walk carefully :-)
For daily exercising and relaxing!
Lovely place for a walk - somewhat repetitive though
Beautiful paths and great parks
Beautiful place. We ahd a wonderfull bike ride.
Great park
Great place to eat luch whit my mom keeping a safe distance
Great place for a stroll with the family. Always something happening entertainment wise. A quiet Oasis smack dab in the middle of the city.
A gorgeous place to walk even in a context of physical distancing. Beautiful vistas, cool benches and tables with an Art Nouveau styling, and easy to spend hours outside.
Great park, lots of nice scenery and very clean.
This is a nice place away from the city rapids very nice roar
Signs to tell cyclist not to swipe past people walking. More cadet or officers to fine them.
Beautiful picnic area, had icecream, and a submarine.
It's amazing how many Montrealers have never ventured to one of the most beautiful spots on the island. Bike and walking paths along the river and rapids. Rafting, canoeing, kayaking... just superb access to the river, with multiple free places to park if you arrive by car. Many picnic tables and chairs.
Excellent place to celebrate birthdays, to have open air fitness time, to come for a bbq, bicycle ride, or just for a stroll. Beautiful park.
Nature at its best. Lots of Birdlife.
Great for bird watching, great views. Some nice fishing spots, bring a life jacket
Very Beautiful place.
Beautiful place, amazing scenery and very relaxing.
Very cool parc, close to town. Easy access, free parking around. Dogs are not allowed inside the reserve but are accepted outside. water activities available like standing paddle, kayaking... swimming (from the paddles) cool ambiance. There's classes available to learn kayaking. There's yoga in paddles... my small dog was allowed in the water.
A nice park with a nice path with a great view!
Ralaxing in the sun
Good view of rapid water passing
Beautiful view!
Worth visiting!
Beautiful park!! Just what you need to see after being trapped in your house.
Had to keep my eyes on the ground, lots of geese poo, but not much we can do about that. Wish they would open the gate to go down to the end.
Very peaceful place to walk and take pictures of the birds!
Spectacular park 45 minutes from downtown Montreal but easily accessible with public transportation. Take the metro to the de l'eglise station then bus 58 West. The sound of the water of the rapids is worth the trip. It made me think of adventure films.
Breathtakingly beautiful park you can visit all year long.
Love it at the rapids. Fun to watch the surfers
Beautiful place. Must visit
Lovely place
Best park I've ever been to in Montreal.
Great to walk and enjoy bird singing
visiting family here ! loved it Alot !
My childhood secret spot is now a fantastic reserve area with amazing views of the rapids.
Hidden gem of a park on the edge of the Island. Many spots for fishing or just simply to be on the edge of water, lots of wild life but birds are what caught my attention the most. My new favourite park in Montreal.
Close to the water, it's nice to chill
Fantastic place. Bird sanctuary a must see. There are also surfers from different areas trying out the rapids. Very interesting to see.
It was so beautiful so many Canadian geese and with their babies very nice
Best place to walk any season.
Love the scenery. Lovely place to take walk and bike.
The view is nice and the bike trails are decent.
Beautiful
Great place to take s walk and to enjoy watching the rapids. Also, lots of picnic table available.
Beautiful space
Amazing
Such a peaceful place to go for walks and bike rides.
Take a bicycle ride to Parc des Rapides if you live in the area.
Such a beautiful place. Great for a walk and to appreciate nature. It is a nature reserve so keep in mind it's made for a calmer visit. The staff working there are the absolute worst people. One of the staff made racists comments to belittle me (just because I was unaware that you're not allowed to approach the water). This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.
Feel the power of the water with amazing natural areas
Had a lovely walk down by the river. Lots of areas to stop and just relax and take in the view.
Great for picnic
There's a nice walk to a point where you can see the rapids. Best in the spring when the water is high.
Nice
Beautiful, green area, and biking path.Good for fishing.Nice for walking and running. Pass you weekend here, enjoy your time.
Great place to look at the rapids
Great place for activities! Whether for a walk, a run, a bike ride or just to chill, this is a great place near the Lachine rapids. Ducks, geese and if you are lucky a little aquatic mammal
Nice park, bring your bug spray though!
It's a nice place to just chill or to cycle or engage in other activities
Serenity along with peaceful beautify aquatic and aviary beauty makes this spot excellent on all fronts
Beautiful place! Room to move, Rapids are spectacular. Don't forget your binoculars. Lots to see.
Amazing place to go and visit
Relaxing and refreshing for mind and boby
Beautiful park, I loved it
Clean safe beautiful park
Beautiful place went on windy day today but definitely will love to comeback soon (summer time) ????
Bird sanctuary with stunning views to St Laurent river and Montreal Downtown. Rowrs of water is very relaxing Great place overall. Parking is limited though
Nice place to go for a walk. Free parking available, but very small, ample enough parking on the street. Narrow trails and people not wearing masks (since it's outdoors) and though there are signs to keep to the right throughout the entire park, some might find it uncomfortable (covid-wise). Went on a weekday, I imagine it's a lot fuller on weekends. Lots of spaced-out picnic tables. Lots of ducks (and their feces all over). There's something about watching the rapids that's so peaceful.
best spot in MTL
The park is beautiful, clean and spacious. This weekend they hosted a Greek festival including food, drinks and entertainment. It was great and worth the trip. Parking gets a bit tricky durng special events so be prepared to park and walk.
My absolute favorite place to find peace after a rough day. Tranquil with the sounds of the rushing water.
Very beautiful and close to nature
Perfect for bicycling, jogging/walking. Some surfers too. Beautiful view. Friendly and smiling people
Love this place
Amazing place to observe the power of nature
Beautiful and clean place to enjoy a nice walk, even a picnic !
I just love this place. Spectacular vistas too. Wildlife.
this is my secret and favourite place in Montréal. i have watched it grow up, from when the first plantings were made. they are now mature and this wee spit of land that harbours all kinds of birds, lovely plantings and beautifully designed, wave-form tables and benches is a delight in every season.
Amazing views and breezing winds :)
If you enjoy fresh air, bird and plant watching go here. Beautiful scenery to just walk, breath fresh air and or take some authentic landscape pictures.
The water was refreshing to listen to
Its nice there i a bird sanctuary there lots of bird and geese. Looks nice next to rapids.
Beutiful place! The magnificent of nature! Do you want to walk in a paceful place? This is the right choice
Well laid out, beautiful picnic tables and benches and clean.
Clean environment, very peaceful for nature walk
Great place to walk & bike
Great place to go for a walk with the family or along. There's also cycling path. Picnic tables all along. I really enjoy going there
Very turbulent current, beautiful views.
Very beautiful scenes, special view of river waves. Full of various birds. Free parking
I find this place a very beautiful environment to visit and enjoy the scenery. What is special about this area is that you can see the fast waves of the Saint Lawrence River, you can also find many types of migrating birds. The area has free parking and is easy to access. A must visit for everyone.
Very nice to walk
My favourite park
We had a great time! It has a nice view
Good place to relax
It's amazing - the water, the nature, the birds. One of our favorite places to go in Montreal
The park is very nice, and has some nice fauna and flora. And even though it is a lovely place, it is only for a walk or a picnic, not much else to do. And, unfortunately, it is not a safe place because anyone can fall into the rapids.
It's one of my favourite nature parks. It is really nice with all the plants & wildlife in the park. Fantastic place for water pics. Rapids and quiet water and lots of species of birds. Just an all around beautiful place.
Always so beautiful to see and hear the rapids! A great place to be, any time of year.
Great place to stroll around - just go with someone you don't want to talk to, because if you open your mouth, it'll fill with tiny flying insects. Just read the cool plaques and aee the remnants of the old hydro plant. Super cool.
Very peaceful. Good for bike lovers. Can enjoy long walks as well.
We have such a beautiful area by the water and yet people ruin it by littering and dropping cigarette butts everywhere even though there are garbage cans all over the place. Pick up after yourselves people!
Very nice park not much for kids to do but great place for date or photos defs visit they have free parking
Fun & relaxing place to visit with the family! The rapids are amazing to see. Has a walking path.
A great park when it is open. Sadly it is closed due to high water levels in the river. Pray for dryer weather.
Everything was clean and proper
Big park with lots of trees. Perfect for a Sunday picnic or playing frisbee. Doggos welcome❤️
Stunning views and some great lookouts. Very muddy paths if after rain. Needs improvement. So worth visiting though.
Great natural Parc
Beautiful park full of birds and amazing views of the rapids.
Very beautiful. Wonderful walk
Great chicken wings and a GREAT place to see the hockey game
Very nice quiet
I sat by the water eating a ice cream was peaceful.
Boat travel .. adventures.
Great place for a sit down n relax!!
Best place in montreal
Good place to take a morning or evening walk, birdwatching and take some shots. Good for relax by the riverside. There are some spots for fishing but the life jacket is mandatory.
1st time walking here since its been fixed up with paths. Very peaceful, benches to rest and enjoy the water and scenery. Beautiful sounds of nature. Hope to go back soon.
One of the best parks in Verdun. Verdun Beach is overrated but this in my opinion is underrated. Waves are charming and beautiful. Must see if you live in Montreal.
Good place ????
My home away from home, Gorgeous, Serene & always healing. . .
Beautiful park for gathering with friends, have fun and enjoy your day ❤
Beautiful for a short or long visit. Will go again soon
Nice place. Sadly could not see the rapid since some area was closed due to Covid
They are super fun and friendly and the trips are very well coordinated and organised. You'll have a great time if you love a little adventure, getting soaked and laughing a lot.
Beautiful place to go , you can do multiple activities and enjoy a the day completely! Just great!
Great park for a nice walk. Had a few hours to kill and came over here to explore a little. Was pleased to find this nice park on the banks of the river. Plenty of paths to explore and lots of markers with information on the history of the area. It is also a conservation area protecting many bird species that migrate or live here all year round.
Great place for promenades along boulevard LaSalle - biking, BBQ, water rafting, surfing as well
Surfing on in montreal
Amazing place and one can enjoy the mesmerizing views of nature.
Very nice and quiet place where you can go read, pray and meditate or just to have a good fresh time in the nature.!!
Always lovely in beautiful nature. Well kept by LaSalle borough.
very beautiful
Amazing experience for nature lovers
Not far from Montreal's downtown, this is a paradise of green space, near the Lachine Rapids for all ages. There's a protected bird reserve which is well-maintained and clean!
Nice walk, good to see wildlife, just respect their space. Fun for the whole family.
Peaceful, serene and rapids too lol very nice, gets busier on the weekends
really nice. A good spot for a walk or an afternoon out.
A beautiful space to spend some time, listening to rushing water and bird song. One of my favourite places on the island of Montreal.
Lively place with joggers, cyclists keeping the place full of activities.
Fantastic place for water pics. Lots of different shots available. From rapids to quiet water and lots of species of birds. Just an all around beautiful place. Great for picnics
Beautiful place
A lot of cute bench and picnic areas along the park, or rocks near the water you can sit by amd watch the rapids. Bikes need to be docked before entering the rapida park area. Wonderful view!
Amazing place
Hidden gem! So glad I biked through here.
A restful place where you can take in the sound of the rapids and the many birds.
