This park is also an extension to the numerous parks along the waterfront of lake saint Louis and the Lachine canal. There is historical sights to see like the fur museum, also a portion of the original Lachine canal and the new refurbished locks and much more. The city of Lachine and the provincial government of Quebec in hand with the Canadian government have made a truly beautiful area on an extended length of waterfront and I thank them for maintaining these treasures for the general public. This is a good example of what a city like Lachine and the province of Quebec in hand with the Canadian government can accomplish when banded together to do something great. Hats off to all three levels of governments.

If passing by along the bike path, be sure to stop here and snap a few photos. Lovely scenery with boats and ducks bobbing in the water. The back drop of houses is beautiful.

There is a building with toilets which is never never but never accessible in summer. We should know why ??? This is why I am giving 3 stars out of 5.
