Get place to relax for the day. Overnight camping. Short walking distance to hirsh creek. Has a large field for running/ playing. Covered area and toilets

Beautiful park with a couple nice walking trails through it - theres a campground in the summer and a shelter with a firepit We played a round of disc golf and it was a good course! First hole is currently pretty wet and puddly but the rest are in good shape

Nice and easy walk in the park where Hirsch Creek meets the Kitimat River. Mossy forest and sand bars.

It's a nice set up with plenty of places to explore. I want to try the disc golf next time when it's not so rainy! I was trying to visit the memorial area and there is an enormous puddle and several potholes so I couldn't really get in there wearing sneakers. and some of the cedar trees there have been damaged. There is also a section there with some erosion so you can't really get to the edge (too dangerous).

snow covered. ..great for wearing out our dogs. ..lol

Great spot for a walk or camping. We saw a few dogs and wished we had ours. Creek trail is beautiful but short and flat enough to do with little effort. The huge trees and natural foliage are inspiring and the air is crisp. I met a small frog on the river bank and many birds in the trees.
