You will see the reviews of people who purchased the products of Kingston Memorial Centre (Tourist Attraction) in the area of Kingston (Canada).
At the present the business has a score of 4.2 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is very good, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the score is very credible. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of Arena.
The Sunday farmers market is amazing
My Poochie loves seeing her doggie friends at the dog park. :)
Shops are good. Parking lot traffic is bad
It's always had and has great events going on, a little something for everyone. Winter, Spring, Summer and everybody's favorite fall for its main stay the Fall fair.
The arena/ rink is pretty straight forward - the seats are pretty uncomfortable, it's mostly concrete, and there are banners hanging. The amenities are few which is unfortunate and it doesn't have a canteen that's open in the summer for day campers or folks at the outdoor pool. But it has vending machines and bathrooms! The playground is ok and the splash pad is one of the best in the city. The fairs and other activities the Centre hosts are usually pretty cool and worth attending. Dog walking park, running track, baseball diamond. Free parking. Not a bad place for civic activities.
No heat in the rink or dressing rooms. The rink I get, but not sure why the kids need to freeze while getting dressed.
An old building still with some life
Has a decent dog park
Awesome but they could add like an arcade with horse games And they should have fun fun mermaid tails for the more experienced swimmers like me MERMAID SAPPHIRE
Nice outdoor pool facilities here for leisure swimming and lessons.
Lots of parking, should of been the K rock center.
Still a good place to bring the kids
Had a great time at the fair this year!
Closed to the public for now. But always a great place to go. Go with friends family members or just hang by your self. A sure way to rediscover...
Went to the fair last week and had fun
Dog lives the dog park but it needs a couple trees for sticks and shade and uneven ground puddles
The market is wonderful every Sunday. The Churros are insane.
Great place to go for a walk. Or take a dog. The pool is nice to cool off in. And the new park is great for the kids with a splash pad and swings
Pool charges for non swimmers. Not needed if you take your grandchildren and are just supervising them.
Lots of life left in the old barn! Lots of good memories as a kid here and now nice to see lots of hockey still being played.
Awesome place to go skating
Market research entrepreneurs and their products in the area
great place for people of all ages. Love roller blading the paved track.
Love the farmers market
This is a great place to go with children in the summer... Very nice place, clean, friendly personal and more... But be aware that phones are not allowed on the deck unless they are in your bag due to legality reasons... No pictures are allowed to be taken, but there's a "dining deck" area in which you are allowed to use devices.
Bit sketchy at night but family park, benches, picnic tables and even has some public use outlets. Spent many hours on my laptop for work, while enjoying the sun.
Kingston Fall Fair & Ribefest had a great set up. Great local live music and a relaxed atmosphere.
Nice for sight seeing and outdoor activities
Went for my vaccine, process was quick and painless
Ok bit sketchy later at night
A regular for site for local events, including Rib Fest and and the fall fair. Great parking for free, also lots of events hosted inside the building throughout the year.
Great experience at a game!
Nice place to play for kids
Great childhood memories, always circus events for charity fundraisers and the fair is fun along with the craft beer festivals. Memories of cow parents with my cousin as a child too so always have a place with me .
A very well used venue, the memorial center is a place where numerous festivals, fairs and vendor events are held. The interior of the centre (specifically: the rink) needs a lot of work- time has not been kind on the glass and boards. It's a little messy and grungy, but still serviceable.
So nice out there!
Always something interesting happening
got my phone stolen there horible staff would not check the secuirity cams never going back homless man walk right in stole my phone and ran out worst day of my life
They usually have the Fall Fair which happens between September to October
Really great place to work out
no phones on the main deck, absolutely no picture taking ALLOWED
Great place to take your dogs and a new fab pool for the hole family as the splash pad is really nice.
fun park, noce and clean.
My review of the pool/water park: Firstly, the water slide is very slow. Yes, it looks fun but is slow and is only fun the first 2 times. …
Nice splash pad and park and community pool
Ok if you have no choice.
I love kingston memorial centre it has a farmers market
Not a good sign for an arena when staff tell you not leave stuff in dressing room because they have a methhead problem in the area.
What a great rebirth for the Memorial center.. A real center of the community.
Love this building. Great dog park. Water park and splash pad is amazing
Haven't been inside lately but was visiting Yellow Bike Action in the barns
Pokémon and festivals. Kingston derby girls
Big part of my childhood memories
Best spot for Pokemon Go
Big rink.
Like I said, had a massive amount of potential
Good summer camps
Great (and super affordable) pool, as well as a splashpad and playground, awesome Sunday farmer's market, and still my favourite place to fly kites.
Good place
Dog park. City needs to provide better lighting and more care to the field
Fun spot to get a Covid vaccination. Very well organized and friendly too.
Big boring not much
Great place.
Rib fest was great.
Good venue for events in town. Lots of grassy space. Hockey rink is nice for a skate and has lots of activities including hockey games.
The farmer's market on sunday - always fantastic. Most of the vendors are super friendly. And everything is , grown, handmade and local.
Dog park here great place play area best in the city....
Great activity for the family. All kinds of swimming pools, riviera, long swirling slide and on the outside a free splash pad and small park. There is even an inside arena. Prices are very affordable, especially if you're looking for a swim with >3 years old (free)l for them)
Fun place to go with friends/family
HOW CAN ANYONE WHO'SE LIVED AROUND HERE NEARLY 50 YEARS NOT BE TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THE KINGSTON MEMORIAL CENTRE. THE BEAUTIFUL PARK THE SWIMMING AREA AND TO TOP THE WHOLE THING THE GORGEOUS AND WONDERFULLY APPETIZING FARMER'S MARKET....A WHOLE WORLD OF SAVORY SCENTS FOR YOUR VIEWING AND PURCHASING PLEASURE. I OFTEN WENDED MY WAY TO OUR NEARBY FRONTENAC STREET HOME WITH AN ARMFUL OF THE BEST OF FRONTENAC COUNTY DAIRY AND GARDEN'S VERY BEST...THANKS PROVIDENCE FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL REVERED HERITAGE TREASURE CALLED THE KINGSTON MEMORIAL CENTRE...
Went to the aqua park here and it was amazing
Great location to take dog, but some people who don't care to properly clean up after their dogs often ruin the enjoyment.
Great little park, the trees they've planted currently aren't big enough to provide enough shade though, so I typically don't bring the kids to the park in the summer.
I lost my cat and it wandered in here. I was able to lure it back out by making barking sounds. Someone told me to be quiet, which really soured my experience. I might be back if they can fix the acoustics.
Awesome park for children and dogs. Ingress as well, lol
Lots of different things here.. Only been to a few events here mainly The Conklin Fall fair is a big hit especially the demolition derby. There's also Ribfest. You can never go wrong with ribs.
I just love the Sunday farmers market......
Great paths for walking.
Farmers market was on point, my doggie loved his treats!!
Fantastic splashpad and park as well as an arena and fairgrounds. Also a lazy river pool comolex with a wading pool and a big slide.
Mass vaccination clinic is well run by efficient, friendly and caring professionals!
Nice facility. The dog park there is one of the worst in Kingston however. The largest mud lake you can find and it is not well maintained. Wear boots!
Not the nicest dog park in the city but it is convenient
older facility good for skating in the winter and swimming in the summer
It has so much to offer dog park a pollination Garden walking path Sports areas Sunday farmers market and much more there's always something happening also the only pool in Kingston with an outdoor water slide
I call it the Mmmm Centre because the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market can be found there almost every Sunday year-round and it's a taste sensation destination!!
Not much goes on here anymore. Not what it used to be.
First time going to tomilson pool. We also played at the park and ran on the track!! Fun day!!
Went to the rib feast. ????. Was a good set up . Considering covid restrictions. Well done
Great community center with plenty of events throughout the year. Well maintained arena and aquatic center, complete with off leash dog park.
Love the pool, park &splash in the summer...and of course the events
This is the home of our Kingston Frontenac Hockey club.
went here for my COVID-19 vaccination. the place was well set up by the KFLA Public Health team parking on the roadside Love the swimming pool they have during summer months. Great for kids.
Cell phone charger inside provided by Telus
Great community Market with amazing fresh products????
Event oriented really depends on what is being promoted. The night I went was a quirky local Roller Derby promotion which drew a saloon type Crowd but still had some entertaining albeit low level moments. My biggest issue with the Park facility is the low standard of cleanliness. Near City centre poor marks for City that prides itself on cleanliness and hygiene this Park/ Centre remains a blight.
Nice
Good skating rink and fair the slide there hasn't worked in 2 years really disappointed
I watched my son at his hockey.
Kingston roller derby attends this venue annually through the Derby season. It is one of our favorite events to attend in Kingston.
It great way to spend your time. But they are just across from where I live. Its very busy spot.
The splash pad and pool is a great place to cool off and get together with family and friends.
A 1/2 mile track.
love kingston
Great place for Pokemon Go
Great venue.
I like it over there hate the homeless. And drityness drug things every where
Excellent park. Rink, waterside, splash pad, playground, track, greenspace, indoor walking area. You name it. Kingston did well on this one.
Great place to go to
Nice location . Park is clean .
The Memorial Centre Houses an Arena and an Outdoor Aquatic Centre. For part of the year, there is also an outdoor Farmer's Market, Kid's Tent, and local music, held on Sundays.
Never ever change this place. Vintage beauty!!! Who own da Chiefs.
To old of a place to have fun at..
Went there for the Ribfest/beerfest. Had a great time, a very good selection of breweries plus lots of ribbers and other foods. A little rain had us cut short the visit but it was well worth it.
Always fun times here.
Dog park is bare but big. Garbage cans available. Pup had a blast.
Solemn remembrance of Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice in protection of freedom
Great to see the dog park and great to see the building being used
Ribfest was a fun outing.
Nice market all local
Indoor arena is maintained. Outdoor field is good for nice friendly dogs. Splash pad and pool are good for the kids. Waterslide is fun for children at heart! It's really hot inside.
Great place for the kids to play in the summer. Such a beautiful spot in kingston
There is always something to do here no matter what the season. It has a running track, a dog park, and playground.
Fun fall fair
After you do the lazy river and slide, it gets kind if boring
Went to poutine festival, field was very muddy
This place is ok. It was the host of a Gymnastics Ontario event that we attended. It's pretty old and could use some upgrades.
Neat arena & has lots of history
Good dog park
Not to bad of a place for public skate
A great arena for practice
We had a great time at the fair
Love the Sunday market here, great park for the kids, splash pad and pool, good place to walk and theirs a dog park
Large park, nice dog owners
Great place to walk my dog
Kingston Memorial Centre Market has something for just about everyone. I hesitate to show a preference for this or that vendor because they all put their hearts and souls into what they bring. But there's a great gluten free baker, Zia Rita, where I'm able to get sourdough bread and a variety of other yummy baked goods. There's a mushroom vendor - my consumption of mushrooms has gone way up since that booth opened. ???? And if you enjoy homemade organic soups, sauces, yogurt and kimchee from homegrown veggies, there's a lovely vendor for that. Raw foods, dips and smoothies done super well at another booth. Oh goodness, there’s so much more. Delicious freshly roasted coffee to sip on as you walk around. Locally produced eggs. Go and explore, find your own favourites! You won’t be disappointed!
awesome rink
AWESOME WATER PARK FOR THE $
Love the rubber playground tarmac!,
Good place for a socially distant walk around the stadium, or dog walking.
This used to be the events and sports hub of Kingston before the K-Rock centre was built, but now is focused more on community events, which suits it much better. Don't expect anything to be ultra-modern or high tech, but expect to see fun events that you can bring your family or a date to without breaking the bank.
The Craft Beer and Ribfest is always a treat. You can mill around tasting one of the 20+ local craft beer while sampling from ten or so rib vendors or park yourself at a table for the afternoon and enjoy the ever changing local talent on the small stage. The tables are a of a communal sort - if there are two of you and two free chairs, just pull up a seat. Is a fun way to spend the afternoon or evening. Of course, the food and beer are specific to each vendor...but there are some great choices. They've added an app (by Token Mobile) which allows you to purchase your entry and your beer tokens in advance and use the app at each vendor instead of carrying tokens. This app worked seamlessly in 2018 (and allowed for a free few tastings if the attendant was lax) and you could reload on the go. If you didn't use all of your 'tokens', they reimbursed you for the unused amount (which you couldn't have done after the event was over if you had physical tokens) so this was an added bonus. Parking is plentiful for this event - but it's a Beerfest...so cabs are lined up waiting to take you away safely.
fun place sus at night chill otherwise
Tito.thebandito and I had a fun walk
This market is fantastic, truly local vendors, top quality farm produce and tasty creative homemade treats like Asian dumplings, perogies andchurras
Great staff!
Cool place for swimming in the summer!
Best farmers market in the city and a great playground.
Nice new urban park. Good place to teach your kids how to skate in the arena in winter and how to ride their bikes in summer. The dog park is very popular. The Sunday market is top notch and all local.
Great amount of community based activities. Dog park is always popular. It could use some lights in the dog park though
The place to be on Sunday mornings.
The world’s finest fun fair was awful this year don’t go otherwise it’s nice for walking
Always lots to do here; our favorite is the farmers market on Sundays.
It's great place
The ice rink needs updating.
Plenty of parking, small kids will find the grounds around the arena pleasureable and fun.
Cool old barn
Kingston Fall Fair. Had a great time!
Beautiful
They put in a bike repair stand great to fix tire set up gears everything is there tool wise BUT you have to be super man the size of the chain they welded to the tool wow
Chairs can be better
Amazing variety at the market! Friendly people, good food and fun for the whole family
They have a splash pad and park in the back as well as a dog park and a track that goes around the area. It's a great place for kids to safely practice riding a bicycle etc.
Beautiful old rink
It was amazing in it's prime, however now it seems kind of out dated. Still a historic part of Kingston though!
Tiny rooms and needs some repairs but a great old barn
Great old arena. Many an OHL game, concerts and events happened here, like the first season of Hockeyville, which was filmed in this arena. The quintessential Canadian hockey rink, it could have been where the movie 'Slapshot' was filmed, and possibly even written, given the former OHL games that I once watched as a kid here were as if they were taken from the pages of that script. Former home of the now defunct Kingston Canadians, followed by the Raiders(also defunct) and finally the current Kingston OHL incarnationŕ, the Frontenacs, the arena is now home to the Church Athletic League as well as Queen's University hockey, until they build a new facility to replace the Jock Harty arena, where Ozzy Osbourne once played a concert with Randy Rhodes, just prior to the latter's death in a plane crash. The concession stands have the absolute best French Fries in this universe, or at least the last time I had them, which admittedly was 10+ years ago now. There is an aquatic centre that is open during the warmer months, as well as a splash pad for the kids, that are both well maintained, and supervised. Behind the arena is a former horse racing track, a off leash dog park, and livestock barns, which are a remnant of the Kingston Fair, which now occurs the second weekend of Septmeber. You know why it's called a fair? Because it ain't good!
lots to do with the little ones. the track is sweet for boarding, biking, etc. the dog park is terrible. too many trashy people end up at this one. alright place to visit when in the city and see what up.
I love the market here every Sunday. All the vendors are legit farmers and artisans of their crafts and food. Check it out if you gwt the chance. You won't be sorry.
Judging from the used needles in the stands this must be 5/5 stars for intravenous drug users, classic Kingston!
great place to take the kids and always a fun place to watch hockey
Sad little building that has a lot of memories for me. I thought it would've been torn down when we got the Krockpot but she's still standing. Lots of Poke stops now.
Awesome. Beautiful sunny day.
Fun place . rib fest and fair is held there along with flea markets, hockey, water slide and more. Also a large dog park when there is no events going on.
It's an arena. Ice okay, dressing rooms old but serviceable, location excellent.
Awesome, received my 2nd early vacine dose❗on daily waiting list...kudos to the doctors & all volunteer staff????????????????????
I always love coming to this arena. My favorite in Kingston. Love the memories I had and love making new ones in this rink. It's a beauty
One of my favorite places in Kingston.
Went for covid vaccine
The dog park there is amazong
The aqua park is not honoring memberships that were purchased before the lockdown. This will remain 1* until I'm issued a full refund or extension on my membership
For an older rink still very functional.
Would have liked to see more
Newly updated playground and splash pad. Right next to the Aqua Park. Bring some snacks and you're set for the afternoon with the kids.
Nice Sunday market
Like the far
Nice market every Sunday with good food and fresh vegetables and meat
Awesome... Especially for the whole fsmily...
It was actually pretty sw3et
The Kingston Memorial Center is good watching the Kingston Derby Girls.
I enjoy the little custom skatepark that's there
Great old building
Been coming to this dog park for 3 years and I have NEVER seen such artrocious behavior. Never coming back. My dog was attacked in her face by a husky. The owners did nothing to apologize or discipline their animal.
This is a great community facility, offering an indoor track around the skating rink for winter walking exercise off the icy or snowy streets. The outdoor swimming pool in summer is wonderful. Congratulations, city of Kingston.
Great time hot dog was good lots of people Meet friends
A huge clean "dog park"! Baseball ⚾️ Diamond. ????Cricket A massive are for RUNNING and WALKING
It's a nice old place to visit
A great place to go with your friends if they have dogs to the dog park. On Sunday's they have a nice farmer's market and then in the fall they have the fair :-).
Great place for public skating on wed nights at 5-550 plus a very nice old painting of the queen in her 20's
Good place, free parking, highly recommended
Great little water park for the summer heat. Nice little park as well.
Enjoy the different events
Great spot on a clear night to sit in the stands look up and think.
Well groomed park, splash pad and pool
The annual night market was lovely
Good splash pad(free) and pool in the summer(not free) great playground and the farmers market is wonderful. There's also a dog park.
Nice swimming area ..... puts on a lot of different events been around a ling time
So much outdoor fun
Plenty to do at this well-maintained Kingston icon. The Memorial Centre Arena is home to Queen's U. hockey program as well as CAL Minor hockey program and public skating . The inside is also often open for indoor walking programs. The Farmer's Market is open on Sundays in Spring, summer, and fall. Huge off-lease dog park, two softball diamonds, a paved walking track (which is also ideal for roller-bladders), and a softer, clay(?) 1/2 mile oval track for walking or running. You can even just park your car here and tour some of the local neighbourhoods or Downtown, which is less than a mile away. In the summer there is an outdoor pool with slide and a free water park for kids. Even the old barns have been partially painted with colourful drawings on the outer walls. And finally, the Memorial Centre is host to the Kingston Fall Fair, Ribfest, and Poutine Fest. Plenty of parking, which is usually free except when the fair is in town.
Well kept
It's a great place to have with friends and lots of things to do ????
It was pretty good. Nice open space. However, we went for an event, Ribfest, which served alcohol, and when we were leaving two young ladies had a fight in the parking lot
Great park just needs a few more shady places for parents
Great old barn
Love it here with the fair dog park and used to watch the fronts play
Awesome place
At the moment pick up of food boxes only, from the Farmers Market
Country Fair Weekend 189th year! Kingston,On!
Warm, big ice, good parking...
Sunday market is top notch! Excellent variety of goods and lots of friendly people.
Long before the Krock (Leon's) Centre, there was the Memorial Centre. This was the original home of the Kingston Frontenacs. Now it is the home of the Kingston Derby Girl League, Many house leagues and a few junior hockey leagues. The park beside regularly sees outdoor concerts and events like Beerfest and Ribfest. It might not have the spit and polish it used to but you can still sometimes hear the sounds of the amazing events it might have witnessed in it's 68 years of operation echoing through the rafters. Great place for events and lots of parking.
Service was questionable. There were many people "working", but not many actually DOING much, and those that were, seemed to be moving slower than molasses in February. HOWEVER, the place was clean & when my sisters order was given to her wrong, they fixed it quickly and gave her a slip for a free meal. I'm hoping it was just an "off day"
Not what I expected
Great for kids of all ages
The dog park is dirty and is not sectioned off to separate small and large dogs.
I was there on a Sunday for the Farmers market which is great! So many vendors with great stuff! They also have a water park, splash pad and huge play structure for kids.
Had a great time with my family at the fair today!
I host a bootcamp here, and I love the mix of people, for the most park, the activities available and the open and accessible space.
A great place in the center of town where you can walk, run, bike, skate laps around the track. There's a pool to cool off in. It's the location of the local farmers market on Sundays.
Loved this place for years. Home of the Fall Fair since I was a child. Excellent sports arena. Outdoor swimming pool and splash pad. Park. Dog park.
Grate play spot for the little ones and good spot to go to the dog park
Great place to meet up with friends has aqua park
Fall Fair 2018 tractor pulls , singing contest, horse pulls loads of rides and canteens
So much history. Very nice old fashioned rink
Great selection
Hockey practice, the halls were clean, as well as the seats. Not much to do or see here if nothing is scheduled, but it was clean and in from the cold.
Lots of good programs and things to do.
Great park
Queen's hockey teams play there
It is a good place for having fun in the summer (swemming)and wenter (skating)
Old but still stands ....but alone? We all gaze at your memory.
Wanted us to spend alot of money for a 2 min appointment. Good service bad prices
Great market
Great events happening at this place
Nice place to take the kids.
It's a wonderful old place, with tons of history! I think a little updating in the sound and lighting department may be required, but all in all, it's always a great experience everytime I go, especially when I bring my family to the events. ❤️ I'm glad the newer Leon Center hasn't deminished the value of this arena.. Stay Strong, Memorial Center! I went to my first ever concert there, (Alice Cooper!) And I hope my son's will experience the same joy there, as I have! ❤️
Great spot for the community! Dog park, Water Park, farmers market.
Love the park and splash pad next time will be visiting the pool and giant slide
Lots off fun
Great place to walk the dogs or relax in the sun, play catch with some friends or enjoy the waterpark
Love it. Only wish it was bigger.
A great place to go with your friends and family
Love the dog park!
I wasn't actually here, I attended a Ribfest in the field next door. The ribs were good though, it seemed like a decent location. There were some bleachers alongside the track/field. I imagine people watch events from there. Also ample parking.
Family fun all around. There is farm markets on many weekends through the summer.
The water park is a great place to spend many hours!
Went for the fair and my kids had a blast.
Geat place nice park! Really nice to go in the summer when they have the pool open their is a slide and everything!
Love the farmers market
Great place.
Amazing place for kids free splash pad. Pool with water slide cheap pricing for pool also free swim days. Location of fair grounds and rib fest
Circus. Fun! It's the Memorial Center - Circuses, the Fair... all those things since forever ????
I was very aroused by the beauty of it
What a place to hold an event. Very complex centre to host many things. Today was ribfest & craft beer festival and a Carnival. Everything was terrific and well done. The staff were excellent and courteous. The grounds were super clean and tidy. The food and drinks were super tasty. Keep your eye open for events like this at the Memorial Center.
Farmers markets, Ribfest, annual fair and many more community events!
Great site for a lap around the track, playing baseball on the field, or even playing cricket! Dog park is not optimal, though.
This is a great old barn....tons of history
Lots of great things happen here.
It's ok could be more fun though
What a beautiful fair
A nice, fun and affordable place to take your kids on a hot summer day.
Very nice place to take family friends and even your dog
There on Sunday for the weekly farmer's market. A must see during the spring, summer, and fall months!
Ribfest 2018. Fun time. Good job by organizers.
Awesome place if u like to skate and play Pokemon
Is a great place to bring family and friends during event's and when JoJo's reopens May 1st. Awesome food.
Got my Covid shot there
Fun place! Lots of fairs are hosted there.
Like to walk there. Wish there wasn't so much litter.
