We came from Rochester NY for a hockey tournament and was overall impressed with the facility. One minor annoyance was the placement of the rink screen when you come through the back entrance. It's right out side a set of rink doors and a heavy traffic area. A smart move would be to invest in separate monitors for each pad of ice and place them closer to the entrance. Other than that very clean, staff was friendly, ample parking.

We played at 3 of the 4 rinks here for the Kingston Canadians U12 Tournament. All of the rinks were nice and not too cold. Overall it is a nice facility. Kind of wish the snack bar had been open though.

I was at the Invista centre for an event in the meeting rooms. The two rooms can be put together, which is useful and convenient. The space is spartan but functional, with big windows. I parked on the south side, so had to walk a long way to the meeting rooms which are on the north side. If you have mobility issues, go in the North entrance.

It was open for. getting the vaccine. Everybody was cheerful. Well organized and efficient. In and out in under an hour for 2 of us to get our shots. Lots of parking. Nice football field beside the arena. We get our second shots there too.

I'm writing this review to let people like me know what they may experience if they go there. I'm very disappointed with Invista. One of your staff was ridiculously rude with me tonight and discriminated against my disability by literally kicking me out of the rink because I brought my emotional support dog. I was very angry by the way the lady treated me and by how she managed the situation. She was rude and very mean. She had no interest in what I was saying about my disability right. And had zero concerns about my dog. Your staff yelled at me and told me she "didn't care about my disability". Absolutely unacceptable.

Some of the best ice in the Kingston area. Big change rooms, they do tend to get pretty hot though after games. In-house equipment shop and sharpening, plus a gym and some nice turf fields in the back. Ample parking and even a bus route that can get you there. One MAJOR issue is checking the schedule: there are TVs that cycle super slow through often outdated schedules. There is no way to check this online. PLEASE fix this, it’s a pain to stand there for 10min just to confirm the change room number before every game.

We spent alot of week mornings at Invista particularly on the Swish Rink. I am always happy to see how our home ice is maintained. The staff is always attenative and on schedule. The locker rooms are kept clean for the girls. My daughter especially likes providing the locker room feed back on the way out after ever practice or game. Be sure to bring your own bottle for water, the arena does not sell bottled water as an inative to reduce waste. There are many water fountains located around the building. I am glad to call Invista home for our daughter's hockey team. ????

The Invista Centre is a relatively new City of Kingston recreation facility with four rinks and a large fitness centre. The rinks have great change rooms and spectator seating. The spacious fitness centre has top-of-the-line machines and staff. Outside of the building is a large parking lot on the north side and a small lot on the south side. There is a track and other playing fields to the east and to the south. In our most recent visit to the Invista Centre, we took advantage of the long, wide north-south corridor that separates the rinks. In the middle of the corridor is a set of stairs that goes up to the second floor and back again to the main floor. The second floor takes you to the fitness centre and a tiny rink where small children can play floor hockey. We used the corridor to get in our steps and our stairs.

Fitness and wellness membership is great value. Beautiful setting large windows along exterior wall, windows at back over look a rink. Ample TVs distributed, wireless receivers for sound located on most cardio equipment. Membership includes a number of classes, like yoga, spin and boot camp style. All provided in a community centre which hosts 4 rinks. Stimulating place to exercise.

Such a beautiful facility, however Zamboni operators need more training on how to flood during busy tournaments. The answer is not to soak the ice. Zamboni ran out of water 3 laps into the flood. Instead of going off and filling up, operator just continued. Ice was awful. Further more I did not see one rink staff go into the rooms all day to attempt to clean the rooms. Our room for our last game was disgusting.

This is our home rink. The facility and staff that work for the city are great. However, I find the woman who work the concession stand rude and inconsiderate. I asked to buy milk for my 2 year toddler who still likes it warm. The older lady that works there refused to heat it up and proceeded to charge me for the cup I asked her to fill half way with hot water to heat it up that way. If they're not willing to help they should not be working there. Tons of families come through these doors daily. These woman have no patience to be working with the public. So in the near future I would like to see a microwave at the front desk maybe to be able to heat up a bottle for a baby.
