North shore of Lake Ontario ... so beautiful and on a beautiful day. Watching the storm come across the lake ... a super memory. Nice benches and tables ... soft green grass. A great place to take photos or examine the heavy gray Ordovician limestone. Take your best friend to to this shady park.

When it is hit outside head down to Fairfield park. There is a chip truck there and you can sit by the water while you eat I give this a 7 out of 10 enjoy.

Beautiful and peaceful park on the water in Amherstview. This is my dog's favourite place to go for walks. During the summer it is also usually open and accessible for swimming, as long as the water quality is ok.

We liked spending some time on the shore at Fairfield Historical Park - and loved the food truck with its yummy food. Unfortunately, the street is very close to the west end of the park.

Cool part of history from the past of settlements along the St. Lawrence Seaway. It's definitely seen better days and it's too bad you can't see the inside. Definitely has lots of potential as a historic museum/display.

it takes some time to get there but there will not be crowds . it's at the end of the road plus a little hike. great for those just wanting to get away from it all.

Great little spot to stop. And a terrific spot if you want to have a picnic too! The kids’ll love it and it’s a great spot to take your partner for a nice time out. And the Soup Chef chip truck has some tasty food. I can’t honestly say that I’ve eaten a lot of it, but what I have had was good!

Fabulous little park with a playground, water access, lots of shade, a chip truck, benches, picnic tables, and a great view of the lake and Amherst Island. The only negative was that our family thought that there could be a few more picnic tables.

The park is very clean. Picnic tables are available for use. Plenty of trash cans around to dispose of your refuse. Good spot to launch a kayak or other small craft. Park gets the 5 stars! Stay away from the chip wagon though. Not good at all. Sausage is over spiced and made with some weird mystery meat. Gravey not hot enough to melt cheese curds in poutine. Chip hut receives 0 stars.

Fairfield historical park is a beautiful beautiful setting by Lake Ontario in between bath and Kingston, The Soup Chef, gourmet food truck is there providing great service and fantastic gastronomic delights

Nice place to stare out at the water or walk the dog. Flat rocks by the water make it easy to dip your feet. Beautiful lilac grove to walk in during the season. Washrooms on site. Soup Chef food truck in the park. Only downside is you need to watch out for the goose poop.

What a nice spot. We stopped in for our first visit with our two small dogs. Plenty of parking and a food truck was waiting. We had a nice long walk and terrific views of the lake. Everyone was friendly and the weather was excellent. We plan on visiting here quite often. A gem of a place
