(Translated) Nice little park. It was from here that the British fired cannons at the attacking American frigates, hence the name “Battery Park”. (Original) Netter, kleiner Park. Von hier aus haben die Briten damals die angreifenden amerikanischen Fregatten mit Kanonen beschossen, daher der Name „Battery Park“.

Very nice water sight with grass areas to have a picnic and practice kayak, standing paddle board and sail. If you do not have your own, there is a rental.

not a park at all. a mildly exclusive area due to the large apartments blocking easy access. can walk out on the rocks if youre into that sort of thing.

Well kept and very pretty! Some garbage cans are too close to the benches which isn't the greatest but other than that, very nice.

A nice little not-so-hidden gem but close to the downtown core. There are Muskoka chairs planted in pairs all over the area, making it perfect for a rest stop or having a light lunch. The rocky trail is also very cool and worthwhile to trek. Definitely not friendly for young children.
