To this day the business receives a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an opinions average is basically the highest, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we may think that the score is quite faithful. If people have bothered to leave their score when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to put scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of Amusement park.
We had a wonderful adventure here! The experience was exhilarating and at the same time we felt safe and had a bunch of fun. The staff were friendly and make the experience pleasant. At some point we had to stop because there were roars of thunder but we were able to go back after waiting to resume.
Came here for a friend's Bachelor Party. All in all the experience was for the most part very fun. The instructors and guides were very helpful and explained the indicators for the difficulty level of the courses and obstacles in great detail. This was helpful so some of our party could choose to passover some of the routes which were more upper body demanding, or very high up. The only reason this isn't 4/5 is because via comparison to the other Treetop Trekking places, this specific route didn't have a wow factor or 'main event.' What I mean by that is the Barrie Tree Top Trekking has the incredibly long final zipline, and the Brampton Tree Top Trekking has the zipline over water! This one unfortunately has no big, scene-grabbing ziplines.
It's pretty entertaining. Need to develop upper body strength to do all the courses.
Best aerial courses in the GTA, really felt in love with theirs expert course.
Great staff. Good course, tougher than you think. Very safe. Needs more zip lines though :p
very rude customer service lady. nothign else good to say about it. Ruined the whole day for us. Well, the place didn't shine a light on my day anyways. Go to other Tree Top places, much more exciting. The zip line is soo slow and boring that i almost fell asleep.
Amazing place to try some tree top trekking. We had a great guide show us the basics of how to trek and slide from tree to another. The guide even goes to the point of having you dangle about 5 feet from the ground to get you trusting on the hardware being worn and to learn how to get up if you fall or slip. We encounter a thunder storm half way thru our trip, all the guides went into safety mode and efficiently and safely got everyone off the trees and walked to the parking lot safely. Due to the bad weather the company decided to provide us with a rain cheque so we could try again the park in its entirety. Amazing service. Can’t wait to go back again.????????
Amazing experience! So much fun and our guides were so kind and helpful! The only suggestion would be to bring your own gloves if you have soft hands.
Kids had a fantastic day and we plan on going back again.
What an amazing experience. I was able to overcome my fear of heights. Totally recommend!
Lots of fun ! Safety was absolutely great as well as friendly staff
So good.
I thought it was two seperate things: you could go treetop trekking, and there was a place to go ziplining. They're one and the same ???? you treetop trek and inbetween the courses you can zipline, they're mostly small but there's a couple decent sized ones. It was fun just not really what we were looking for... We like ziplining more than the trekking ????????♀️ wish there were just ziplining courses
Had a fantastic time. Friendly and helpful staff, great courses. Would recommend bringing or buying gloves, but not necessarily.
This was a great adventure with my daughter we had a lot of fun, the staff/workers were amazing .
It has good off-road tracks. If the owner were more generous, it would be awesome. The simple paper map shouldn't be charged even after pricy fee.
Stopped by randomly on a roadtrip elsewhere. Staff was very accommodating and helped a friend and I to get in with a private booked group. Had so much fun. Would definitely visit again
We were there during the heatwave in July, started at 10 am. Guides were super helpful and cautious about security. I would definitely go back. We really appreciated that they gave up the heads-up about the Timberwolf which takes 45 min. I skipped that one and did the Flying Falcon twice :)
Such a blast so much fun.
Fabulous fun! My husband, 15 year old son and I had an incredibly fun time here. The location in the Ganaraska forest is beautiful, and even though we are in the middle of a muggy heat wave, it was still quite comfortable. The courses are challenging but not too difficult for newbies and older people like me who are in only modest physical condition. There was an expert course that I wouldn’t go near, but it looks awesome for the fitter and braver visitors. The orientation was clear and the equipment is all in excellent condition. I have to give a huge thank you to Georden, one of the guides, who saved my day. I was panicking at the first zipline and looking to back out of it all. He zipped over and patiently and kindly talked me through the zipline and the first few “games” or obstacles. He also checked in on me a couple more times during our visit. Thanks to Georden I had the most fun I’ve had in ages!
Loved it!
Wonderful staff. Very friendly, helpful and supportive of beating fears.
It was a wonderful experience. I really appreciate the service. I lost my cash and card while climbing. They did put the enfort to find and return to you responsibly. Definitely recommend to anyone wanna come????????????
I when dirt biking with TrailsTour it was the best experience I've ever had. Great people great staff looking forward to next year.
Awesome. Go like hell when you run the various lines as your time will run out before you finish if you don't run.
Staff were great even though I was running late and rescheduled for the session that's an hour later (provided they had availability)
PERFECT DAY! We had a great sunny day, first bunch of folks to go out. The guides are all lovely, informative and easy to talk with. We enjoyed all the courses, the tarzan swing was SO FUN! Challenging course, definitely check it out!!
Outstanding! My family and I loved every minute. Thanks for a great afternoon. We'll be back for sure!
Great place to have a good trek/outdoor activity. The obstacle courses gradually increase in difficulty.
Participated in a team building event. The games were fun and the staff were very friendly. There was some disorganization and lack of direction but overall a great experience. The tree trekking courses were very challenging, especially for beginners.
Awesome must visit place with friends, family and just have fun ❤️ guides are very friendly and helpful and tree top trekking levels are all for all level of people starters to pro
The kids had a great time (me, not so much, as i quickly learned this type of activity was not for me). So for the sake of a true review from someone who explored it, i dictated for my son. There is a lot to do here and not enough time to do it! The "games" (which are the activities you do between trees) are difficult, the guides are really nice and patient. There is a lot of rules to follow for safety but you quickly get a hang of it (or you get "the green band!") .. I'd give it more stars with a bit more time and perhaps a place to grab essentials for a day in the woods, but otherwise I'd recommend a visit.
Had a fantastic time... I was a little apprehensive due to cost, but once I arrived and saw the obstacles and games they had setup, totally worth it. Also totally worth it, is the staff who performed multiple rescues that day, in a timely and safe fashion. They must receive great training and hire qualified people. Will totally be back at some point. Ps. If you don't try the advanced zipline course you're missing out!!! Pps. See my pics and there is one of them performing a rescue. Again, amazing fun!
It was alot of fun and a good upper body workout. The staff are excellent and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.
Awesome place to get outdoors and challenge yourself to the 6 obstacle courses. Courses range from beginners to intermediate. The hardest one was very challenging for people who have not done anything like this. It was still doable as long as you take your time. This location has good long distance ziplines. They have one course that has 4 zip lines. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
$50 per person experience, worth it.
I had a blast here for my 27th birthday. Me and my family were excited and nervous at the same time but the staff were so helpful and did a great job showing us how to use the equipment. So when it came time for us to start, we were confident that we could do it and we would be safe! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get some exercise and have fun.
Very good
The experience was great! Though I highly recommend making sure you are at least somewhat in shape before doing the 3 hour aerial course. My brother and I had a blast doing it and we managed to get through every course, though the rest of our family that we went with had a harder time. The guys running the course were extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I would 100% go back again.
When they say the 5th part is the hardest, they're NOT kidding. Otherwise it is challenging but certainly doable and fun. We'll be back for sure.
Complete waste of money. They had about 20 people including us that had to wait a full hour for someone who was scared of heights to be helped down out of the tree. They have no emergency plan for if this happens. You only get 3 hours to complete the course so I am so sorry if this happens to you. We did not have the chance to complete our course and left immediately after they helped him down. Very disappointed
We'll organized and run by a great group young adults!! Covid friendly, not overly crowed and just a ton of fun for all age groups!! The family had an absolute blast today. Ps - Timberwolf is very extreme!!
Sooooo much fun!!!! We came all the way from Montreal and had such a good time!!! Best day of our vacations! Lovely staff, exciting games and beautiful forest! Everyone must try!!! :)
Fun place to hang out with friends or family. Good for all ages.
That was challenging and a lot of fun! Highly recommend!
This place was sooo much fun.. definitely worth the money!! Great for kids and adults, and the staff was really great too!
Pro: The level of difficulties varies, it can go from easy fun to a challenging workout. Con: the orientation takes very long for groups.
Got rained out half way through but everyone was great. Rain check in hand for another visit!
Such a great time, even in the freezing rain. Staff were awesome. Definitely have plans to come back
It was great!
Totally great day...the last one was a tuff
Amazing adventure activity! Worth the price!
We really enjoyed our day at Treetop Trekking Ganaraska. The course starts off at an easy pace and then gradually gets harder. It's quite a good workout. Our group ranged from 11 to just over 50 and we all had a lot of fun. The staff were clearly competent but could have supported some of the trekkers a bit more on the more challenging parts of the course. Overall a fun afternoon.
We went September 14, which was yesterday it was the best experience ever better then brampton, the staff were the best staff, it was the best experience ever!!!!
We had a fantastic time! Have been to several Treetop Trekking parks and have always found the staff great and the parks very fun! You've gotta try it!
Pretty fun obstacle course just dont get stuck behind slow people or your screwed.
Awesome experience
The staff was amazing climbing was amazing and the atmosphere the best.
100% awesome
Tree top trekking is a great family place to visit I personally have visited here 7 time and enjoyed Every time I've been here I recommend this to every one who's able to go its awesome and so are the staff
Excellent staff that were honest and made sure I got my full discount after a computer error - without cutting into our time for completing the courses. The courses were fun and challenging without being too hard until you get to the last one which is the hardest one in all Ontario. That was rewarding to complete! Staff were consistently attentive and watching out for our safety without ever spoiling the fun ????
Very clean
A lot of variations in trekking "courses" and ziplines to try. Your hands may get calluses so might be helpful to bring your own pair of gloves (also available on site for $2 I believe). Certain courses are classed as advanced and require completion of beginner ones first, which staff will let you know.
Had a great time here. All the staff are helpful and knowledgable.
Super friendly staff. Course was really fun, especially the advanced course. Review would have been 5 stars except the zipline course was closed. There wasn't any notice on the website or notification prior to booking so if I knew this I'd have just booked after and waited until that course was ready to be used again.
We had an amazing time. Limited easy courses though, so if you have young kids it gets a bit repetitive. Also the harnesses smelled awful - like stale sweat - and all our clothes had to be washed to get the smell out.
It was so much fun. Need some energy
This was such a great experience! The courses were so much fun, and there was a variety of different obstacles for beginners to advanced climbers. The guides were very friendly and informative and it was overall a fun activity to do with my friends!
I have been over 5 times, it is pricey, but worth it every time! The courses are difficult but enjoyable and it's a great way to get everyone out and about. Would seriously consider a season pass!
these people are crooks. and they sent me loads of spam. avoid!
Looks like it will be lots of fun! Beginner to advanced courses.
Amazing experience! Absolutely loved the area with the tall trees. The best part is that because it's right at ganaraska forest you can go hiking after so the fun doesn't have to end. Our guide was great in getting us fitted and making sure our harnesses was tight enough before we did orientation. They try to make sure that you're comfortable enough and able to pull yourself up in case you fall. They're very encouraging and are able to talk you through some obstacles if you don't know how to maneuver yourself to the next one. The second level was tough enough. I wish they took a little more time with training but I understand time is a concern. Washrooms were okay. And they have picnic tables on the side if you brought a lunch. Will definitely come back!
Such a great day climbing and zip lining loved it
Its a bit pricey, but the experience can't be beat. A ton of fun.
I was absolutely terrified the entire time. I shouldn't have been but I was. Still, it was a totally exhilarating experience and I had SO much fun. I would go again and again. Worth every penny. The staff are very good at making sure you are safe.
(Translated) It is said to have the most challenging project team among all the locations under Treetop Trekking! It is recommended to arrive at least half an hour earlier. After you report at the check-in desk, a staff member will guide you to put on your protective gear and do a self-check. After entering the jungle, there will be a staff member who will give an explanation for about 15 minutes, and then everyone will have the opportunity to conduct a simulation exercise to absorb the technical essentials they have just learned (such as how to re-climb on the rope after accidentally falling from the wire rope), Tool operation skills (zipper, safety hook, protection device, etc.), verification of safety rope safety, etc., there will be one-to-one guidance during the period. After about half an hour of guidance, you will choose the project team yourself. There are 6 groups of projects from easy to difficult. On-site personnel are responsible for your safety and technical guidance, but you need to complete them independently. Groups 1-4 are relatively simple as a whole. They mainly try different kinds of obstacle-climbing skills. After all, you can ask the staff to confirm, and then you can complete the more challenging groups 5 and 6. Due to the difference between Covid-19 and people's physical strength, it takes about 3 hours to finish the game. During the period, you can rest at any time, but once you enter the project team, you cannot retreat or give up. You must stick to the end! In the current epidemic situation, meeting friends outdoors, exercising and accepting challenges together, is a good reunion activity! Canada will always be open until Thanksgiving, so remember to make an appointment online about a week in advance! Remember to bring water, mosquito repellent and gloves! Otherwise rubbing on the wire rope will really hurt! Helmets will be distributed for free, but the smell is very strong, and those who mind can prepare wet wipes and disinfectant to wipe them in advance. Fun for both beginners and experts. A little bit challenging for the last 2 courses. A great outdoor gatherings games under COVID-19 for family and friends! Fun for both beginners and experts. A little bit challenging for the last 2 courses. A great outdoor gatherings games under COVID-19 for family and friends!
Had an amazing time at this treetop course. I have never done anything like this in my life and I am scared of heights. I felt safe with the thorough safety course and demonstration. Zip lines were definitely the best part.
What a great experience! Very helpful guides and fun courses. Bring some snacks and water though, you'll need it!
We went as a work group last week and had an absolute blast! The instructor we had was very knowledgeable and great at explaining everything thoroughly. Will definitely be back!
This was a great experience! My sisters and I just went and had an amazing time! Our guide John was great. I had never been tree trip trekking and I was able to catch on pretty quick. The intermediate courses were good enough for us, the expert one looked really challenging. Wear hiking shoes that provide a strong foot support. Team leader Mel was amazing! We got to see her in action doing a mid-zip line rescue and she was incredible.
for the money vs fun hard to beat !
Went through the entire aerial course as a family during Covid-19. Good safety precautions, including hand sanitizer at each course, social distancing, and etc. Timber Wolf course is very challenging (the most challenging in Ontario, according to a guide). Great care and service by the guided and employees. Note that the cell reception is little to non at the premises and the nearest gas station is near the highway.
Lovely grounds, very quiet.
Tons of fun to be had, great for beginners and intermediates, all the way up to those who want a challenge! Set aside some time, you'll want to do the whole course and the last few runs take some time (and upper body strength!)
I had such a good time doing this activity and id definitely do it again. Stick to doing the courses you're comfortable doing.
Really excited about the "Timberwolf" course at 60 feet height. Also the "Flying Falcon" with four subsequent zip lines...
Awesome activity to do in nature. Awesome and helpful staff.
Treetop Trekking offers an opportunity to walk across cable wires, and do zip lining. It's fantastic! For beginners and intermediates both.
Fantastic experience with knowledgeable staff. The equipment was clean along with great maintenance on the cables in the obstacle courses.
THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT BUT THE STAFF ARE DISGUSTING
Well, treetop trekking was awesome. Staff was amazing. Will definitely be back. Courses were awesome and a little challenging. Great for whole family to experience.
Had a lot of fun doing the aerial walk and zip lining! The bridges we had to cross were quite challenging at times, in a good way! My only complaint was that it wasn't enough time to go through all the courses when there are younger kids who require lots of encouragement holding you up. You have only 3 hours, and it took us 40 minutes just to get through orientation and safety training. Guides were knowledgeable and really made sure of everyone's safety. I will definitely be doing this again next summer at a different forrest ???? Another plus was a Healthcare worker and military discount, which definitely left me feeling appreciated as a nurse ???? Also, you don't have to be super fit to do this, there are courses with easy bridges and zip lines.
It was fun, great activity with friends. Just a heads up thou if you are looking forward into doing the advanced course you should finish up the beginner and intermediate in about an hour. The orientation takes about an hour so you have to make sure you have atleast an hour left to do the last course because one of them takes atleast 45 min to finish. I hope they gave us a heads up about it if not in the website atleast at the orientation. It was dissapointing that we can't do the advance course because of time. But it was fun.
Great day to go as we were the only for in our group. Noah really worked well with our kids as they are both not fans of heights.
Great day. Three hours is about right. Guides are great. Laid back but enforce safety. Actually, now that they have a one caribiner system (used to be two), safety is not an issue even for the most distracted. We had a great time. They tell you to be there a half hour early. You get equipped and ready to go to training / orientation. A lady showed up about two minutes after our time slot and was insisting the five kids with her be included (i.e. we all wait for her to register and sign waivers, etc.). The staff handled the situation very professionally. I think even she was satisfied and she looked hard to please. Highly recommended.
I love it!!!
a lot of fun
Great place to get back in touch with Mother Nature ample parking a lot of interesting things to season good for the family
10/10 would recommend! Guides were fantastic! Courses were dope! Had an all around fantastic day in the trees ???? ????
Nice staff once you complete the courses do you feel very fulfilled wold recommend
This was a lot of fun!
the advance courses are too hard lol
Fantastic experience for the active family.
Fantastic experience today completing the tree top courses and zip lining. Exhilarating activity that was the highlight of our vacation. Wonderful, encouraging staff that clearly love their job. Definitely worth the money.
The experience was FANTASTIC!! Imagine a jungle gym outdoors, up in the forest…way up! It’s physical and fun. Get your work out - out in nature! The buildings and area could use a bit more signage and markings. Also, having a secure place to leave your keys would be great. My husband lost his key fob on the course. Very expensive to replace.
A lot of fun. I'm not an overly athletic person , but I was able to do the low level courses with relative ease. We will definitely do it again.
My children ages 9 and 12 had an amazing time. We booked a birthday party for 8 and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was so much fun and so much to do there no time to be board. So worth the money
We had an absolute blast, couldn't ask for a better experience if you're looking for something fun, outdoors, challenging and exhilarating. Staff are all excellent as well! Highly recommend and will be coming back.
Great spot, fun day, kids loved it
Had fun with the group of friends. Was nice adventurous day. Gave 4 star because of one of the lady guide who was literally in a bad behaviour and was not knowing how to greet someone if someone is greeting her. She was just seem to be doing her job with no interest.
Great experience would recommend the night time tree top trekking. staff was amazing, Katelynn especially was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly!
Excellent outdoor activity for the kids. This location has great, friendly staff and the course is well thought out.
It was a fun experience. The staff are helpful and there is no judgment on your size or ability.
Very fun, our guide Noah was great
A great way to spend an afternoon. So much fun!
Fantastic, couldn't recommend it enough! Though important to heed their earnings especially about the difficult courses. Don't push yourself too hard
Fun times ????
Great experience!
Guides started us in an intermediate level first rather than a beginner level. It was not properly explained that once you zipline, you have to complete a set of obstacles to get to the end of the course. There is no turning back and no ladders to get down from the trees. I wish our guide had explained this and also started us off with the beginners course.
The staff were amazing and friendly. The courses were varied and fun.
Had an amazing time! The guides were great and explained how to use the equipment well. The park has beginner, intermediate and advanced courses and you aren't pressured to do more than you are comfortable with. Will definitely be going back!
this is the 3rd treetop excursion i've taken the children to.... wow its soo bad. the gear is cheap and faulty (wife almost fell from a bad clip) and the course is designed so poorly you have to crawl under the lines on the platforms. ideally suited to a 4yo size child, seriously bad designs. go to boler mountain. well designed and quality safety equipment. i want my $ back
According to the "COVID-19 PROCEDURES" on the website, "Guests that are able to, are asked to wear a mask any time that it may be difficult to keep a 2-meter distance..." I with my family attended the Treetop Trekking Ganaraska on June 19, 2021. The Trekking experience was good, 4 stars. However, many guests didn't follow the "COVID-19 PROCEDURES". They didn't wear mask when the distance was less that 2 meter. They kept masks in hands, on necks or arms, or didn't have them at all. The members of the trekking staff didn't remind those quest to follow "COVID-19 PROCEDURES". The Safety - 1 star. We are not going to attend this place any more.
I am giving this location 5 stars as they practiced COVID 19 protocols as expected (ie. enforced social distancing, hand sanitizer stations, employees wearing mask indoors/sometimes outdoors). This was my first time Treetop Trekking, based on my experience, I will be back again in the future. Training was through. Even though we had a big group, the instructor made sure everyone had all their safety equipment worn correctly, and that everyone had the skills and physique required to complete the course. The course were challenging, but they were fun, and I felt safe the entire time while I was doing them. Especially love their zip line course, a lot less effort than the other course, and a lot more zip lining.
Lots of fun!
Had a blast staff are very good teachers.
Amazing experience!
Really friendly staff and fun courses! A bit pricey, but definitely a fun, unique experience.
The staff was encouraging ppl to zipline through the obstacle instead of guiding thought. They have 7 courses, but they closed one of them (not sure of the reason). We reached at 3, the orientation takes approx 1 hr, The close the course 45 mins before, so you technically only have 1 and 1/2 hr to complete the course. The group in front of us was slow. I was only able to do 3 courses out of the 6. A little disappointed. Would not visit again.
Very cool experience. You get to test your limits. Very challenging and rewarding.
Fun for a day date with my girlfriend. We both have some rock climbing experience and still had fun and found challenging sections of the course. My advice would be this: after your instructor demonstrates the safety tutorial, they will ask you to line up. If you are athletic or have lots of experience, take this opportunity to place yourself near the front of the line. This moment will determine the order of climbers for the next 3 hours. We were not able to complete all the courses because we were stuck behind a group that was taking their time and trying to stay together. This caused us to miss the cut off time for the last course. Also sunscreen and bug spray are a good idea.
Awesome place. Great for team building! Staff was great.
Great place knowledgeable staff very safe
Epic fun . We brought the whole family and we found it very challenging and exciting.
This was amazing so much fun ! Staff were great beautiful area. Well worth the money
The kids loved it great place
It is amazing!!! My parents and younger sister went there together and we had a WONDERFUL TIME! We absolutely love it! They make sure that you are safe with a hook that slides in place with these silver plates. However, they do not slip off the wire as the gap is too small for the wire. The ziplines are INCREDIBLE! They are fast and exciting! We have been to all 6 locations and they were amazing! The service is good and overall, everything is AMAZING! Whoever is looking at this comment, you should go there too!
My first visit to Ganaraska forest. I'm not sure I'd refer to it a an amusement park. This area of central Ontario is both beautiful and fascinating. A landscape carved out by receding glaciers 10,000 years ago. There's a number of trails here some are for horses, others for ATVs and motorbikes and some for hikers, snowshoeing and x country skiing. It's worth exploring. It can get pretty crowded here as there's a conference centre, an outdoor school and a tree treking outfit plus lots of dog walkers, some dogs are leashed, some aren't.
Amazing Experience, Amazing Staff, %100 Good Times!
Great experience coming back here. The courses are very fun and challenging. The staff are very knowledgeable and supportive as you go through the different courses. I look forward to coming back to this location in the future.
BRING GLOVES - (I think) you can buy on site, but if you can, bring your own. We had fingerless bike gloves, which were lifesavers, but full gloves would've been ideal. Also, there is a small picnic table area to put water/snacks/etc. near the courses so you bring it with you. ???? Would recommend going to the first session of the day as you're not waiting for as many people when going on the courses. Overall, awesome experience and helpful people.
Good if you like being terrified
Love it
My wife and I went to the Treetop Trekking Ganaraska this past summer. This was the first time we did any treetop trekking adventures. Based on the reviews written, I was expecting a very difficult course. Upon attending the course, both my wife and I felt it to be average difficulty. We definitely enjoyed it but would probably note do it again as we did all the courses well under the time limit given.
Timberwolf is my favourite course. It's a real challenge!
