A very pleasant experience if your just starting to ride a bike. They go over the basics and teach you everything you need to know to operate a dirty bike safely. Once that is completed you are taken on a long trail ride through the fields where you can gaze the landscapes. I highly recommend getting the fully day as the half day only allows you to get a small ride in the trials. Most of the time is spent learning. But it’s really cool to learn. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Visited Trail Tours for the first time yesterday... it won't be my last. I've been riding street bikes for >25 years, but never rode in the dirt. Their staff started out my friend and her 15 yr-old son (who neither had riden before) with the very basics (clutch, brakes, gears) while I was given tips on how to ride in the dirt. By the end of the day my friends were riding with confidence and I was being challenged with more difficult trails. I was even getting some air off the whoops. Great staff and equipment made for a great day.

Would recommend! Lots of working Honda CRFs, beautiful location, gear available to rent+buy, and staff was wonderful. This company is both beginner and advanced rider friendly. Excellent fun! Well run. (pretty bad at replying to emails though). You do not need any experience, but if you have experience the staff will group you accordingly so you don't need to worry about that. My friends and I all have road experience, but no dirt. I found it to be the perfect balance of giving us instruction and guidance, without holding our hand the whole way through. Our Guide Darius was great!! Personable and knowledgeable, and definitely passionate about being a trail tour guide. As previous reviews have said, they provide you with all the gear you need. I would recommend wearing a pair of thin bicycle shorts or leggings under the pants they give you. Just keep in mind, especially if you're going on a summer's day, you will get hot when you're out riding the trails. Large tents serve as change rooms, one for men, one for women. The toilets are literally a wooden outhouse, so I would recommend a final stop at a coffee shop beforehand. Lots of good information to read in other reviews here about what to expect. Just know, you'll have lots of fun. A+

Our group of 10 or so people had a fantastic full day of instruction at this facility and trailing riding in the Ganaraska Forest. It was the first time for a handful of us on motorcycles/dirt bikes and we didn't know what to expect. The instructors were highly professional, patient and, most importantly, ensured everything was conducted safely. The morning was spent learning the basics of riding a motorcycle on a training circuit. They then took us through the forest on some incredible riding trails. Our experienced group of riders had two trail riding sessions. I will definitely be back.

We did the half day tour at trail tours and it was fantastic. I would recommend 100%. I'm really just getting into it and they help you learn. If you're an absolute beginner, do the full day because they'll teach you in the morning and then you can use the afternoon to go for a full trail ride. Absolutely best thing I've done this summer. Pack a good lunch though, it's more tiring than you'd think.

Amazing experience! We opted for the full day tour, starting at 9 am - 3 pm, booking was nice and easy with Steve, confirmation via email with everything you need to know. We had no prior experience with riding whatsoever. But Steve, and his team made us feel comfortable every step of the way. First half of the day was learning, riding around small courses, learning to change gears, turning, standing, going over logs etc. We also added the lunch option which was great! After lunch we were off to the trails, what an experience that was breath taking scenery, lots of different trails. Wish we could've stayed longer, Thanks again to Steve, TrailTours and the rest of there team!

It was an amazing experience! They started about 45 minutes later, so they should have let us ride past the noon cut off time, otherwise it was amazing! This was honestly a fantastic day of family fun. Being an, ahem, older, heavier and out of shape person I was worried but they had gear that fit and I had an amazing time. The young men and young lady teaching the course were incredibly patient and very good at providing easy to follow instructions.

The first time I rode with this tour company was back in 2006. A group of us recently went back and glad we did. A wonderful team of employees here and Honda sponsored equipment. They provide everything you’ll need to have a super day ( except Lunch, due to COVID-19 safety practices) The team did a great job of assessing rider needs and skills. I Highly recommend this adventure for anyone. Young, old, male, female, expert or never have ridden- you will love the experience!

Great location, wonderful staff, fantastic bikes. I rode a brand new Honda crf250f, very forgiving and great for my first time riding. My instructor, Jake, took me on progressively more difficult trails when he noticed I was getting used to the bike. Very smart when it came to gradually challenging my abilities at the right time, highly recommend him. Overall fantastic experience, and I will go again.

Went for a 1/2 day ride with my Son on the 23 May. This was our second visit to Trail Tours in recent years and we thoroughly enjoyed. The Staff are very Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment was all modern, well maintained and I was very impressed with the COVID-19 safety guidelines implemented by the Owner Steve Weykamp and Staff. A special shout out to our Instructor Steve, who has a wealth of knowledge and skill on off road riding and really takes the time to ensure everyone is well looked after. What a great day. Was only able to do half day and wish I had done the full day. Booking was easy and Steve replies very quickly. The package they email you gives you all the information you need for directions and accommodations. Easy place to find. People of all ages were there. Instructors made sure everyone had a good time and everyone was safe. Prices listed on the website. For what you get the prices are fair. After my visit I am now considering taking up dirtbiking as my pleasure activity in the summer.

Awesome setup. Great instructors! I bought the full day experience with a group of about 16 friends. The instructors split us into groups depending on our history/comfort with dirt and street bikes (if you have absolutely no experience, dont worry - they will teach you everything). I had about a year of street riding experience, so I put myself in novice (understand how to use the clutch, understand basic controls, etc). The instructors gave us all the equipment and led us to an area where we could become familiar with the bikes. From there it was an absolute blast! We did some exercises to become comfortable with different things, then spent the morning going through amazing trails in the forest. We stopped for lunch, and continued in the afternoon. Full day was great because you could apply what you learned in the morning on some more difficult terrain if you choose. All in all, lovely experience. Would recommend again! Get a group going for a good discount.

Cannot recommend highly enough. I've ridden for years; my daughters never. We did a half day - I'd have been happy if they got the hang of the clutch and had fun buzzing around a field. But under excellent tuition from friendly professional staff, by the end of the session they were riding trails through the forest, moving up and down through the gears, manoeuvring the bike well. Glad we only booked three hours; we were riding almost the whole three hours - exhausting and so satisfying! Booking/admin/travel/access all so easy. Staff were spot on in their service. We'll definitely repeat.

Had a super full day ride with my 13 year old son. The bikes and gear were clean and in good shape. It was my son's first time riding and our fantastic instructors Mark and Jake had him flying around the track in no time. In addition to providing useful instruction and tips, the staff members were helpful and accommodating. The bikes were in excellent running condition and beautiful Ganaraska Forest offered plenty of diverse riding conditions. All in all, the experience was money well spent – it was exactly what I needed to increase my skill level and rider confidence. Highly recommended.

6 guys went on Aug 1st for a full day. Amazing Experience. I was the only one in the group who has experience with street bike. Everyone picked up riding and enjoyed the trails. Great location, wonderful staff, fantastic bikes. I rode a brand new Honda crf250f, very forgiving and great for my first time riding. Really great experience. They split you up into groups if you're not sure how to ride a bike versus if you have experience and know how to ride. But some of the trails were insanely fun. I joined the group with all the guys who were mostly experienced street riders and i managed to keep up with them. I've never experienced crazy turns and runs in the forest like that. Definitely a great experience, will be back soon!

TrailtTours was a great experience, since we when all together as a company somewhere around 15 guys , some of them never touch motorcycle not even ride , this guys train themon the morning and by the afternoon they where ridingbikes even with gears and riding good this for me was above and beyond, and some we use to ride so we went with young guys and they are pros ... great staff, bikes are great for trails , i truly recommended this to anyone with family or either friends or by yourself so so fun , they provide you with all gear so just worry about nothing , huge thanks to all of you Trail Tours

Booked my boys (9 & 7) a 1/2 day for their first time on dirt bikes. My youngest was having a hard time getting the courage up to try but the instructor (Tanner) did a great job. By the end of the morning both boys were having a blast and want to go again. Great way to get introduced to the sport and a very well run operation. Definitely will be back!

Instructors (Caitlyn and Emma) were great - very knowledgeable and super fun to ride with! Met the owner too who offered a wealth of invaluable insight on various bike models and characteristics. First day riding a dirt bike and was ripping up the trails in no time. I like that they cater personally to your skill level and will split the group to accommodate everyone’s needs and ensure that everyone is enjoying themselves out on the track. I’ll most definitely be coming back for some more next year. Only thing I’d say they can really benefit from is a gear refresh as a lot of the riding gear looks pretty beat up. Otherwise A+ experience!

Did the half day thinking that would be more than enough for a Novice like me. Ended up leaving with the thoughts that I should have done the full day! It was a great experience. I was riding a motorcycle after 4 years and was very apprehensive. But me and my friends were well taken care of, starting from gear to instructions to guidance on handling the dirt bike. Our guides, Danielle and Mike were very attentive, knowledgeable and taught us great safety tricks. Best part, none of us stalled or fell, thanks to the hawk like guidance from the two. I felt totally safe and quickly realized even if I was a beginner with no experience, I would have been fine with these experts. Highly recommend TrailTours.

An unbelievably great experience for the younger children, older children and adults that attended with our group. The instructors were patient with both the kids and the adults for the new riders, taught completely inexperienced riders to learn how to ride a dirtbike, including changing gears. Shoutout to Daniella and Big Red who's patience with the kids as they taught them to ride the mini dirtbikes and deal with apprehensive children turned ALL the kids saying they wanted to come back TOMORROW - I had to stickhandle this all the way home.... Shoutout to Emma who taught the young adults and adults how to ride. Shoutout to all the helpful staff as they helped our group with the gear. If there was more than 5 stars this would deserve it - you will be seeing us again.

My family and I had a great day at trail tours in June 2018. Gear and bikes were in great shape. All the staff were friendly and helpful. What a fantastic day of dirtbiking. All the instructors are patient and make the day fun! Hot lunch is provided, and is a welcome repast after a morning of blasting around. There is an open field for training, then everyone who is ready proceeds into the woods. Stay for the whole day, because a half-day will leave you wanting more!

They have great bikes and awesome trails for dirtbiking. We went as a large group last year and some people never rode a motorcycle before and they taught them from scratch. We went on some pretty cool trails and we are scheduled to go again this year in the fall.

What a great experience!! Went with my 7 year old son and had an absolute blast. They really did a great job for our different skill sets and got my kid ripping trails with in an hour. Really impressed with the guys working here and the level service they provided. Thanks, we will be buying new HONDA dirt bikes ASAP!

So my wife and I did this as a anniversary gift to ourselves. I emailed ahead and booked for both of us and my 12 year old son, for July 20th, for the full day package. Getting to the meeting spot was easy, just follow the directions carefully. A guy on a dirt bike showed up and we followed him to the main location. After parking, it was a short walk to the registration area. Registration was easy, waiver forms, payment etc. You were then outfitted with all the gear needed to begin your experience. There are two tents, one each for males and females to change. They provide baskets to keep your stuff in, and lockers if you want to keep any valuables safe. The washrooms are basic, like camping basic. Recommend bug spray, as there are mosquitoes. We were then split into groups, beginners, intermediate, advanced etc. Being a first time for us, we were all beginners. The instructors were cool guys. They sized us up for the appropriate bike sizes and took us out to the field. For the next 2 hours, we ran through all the basics, how to start the bike, use the clutch\gears, brake etc. Man, it was a brain rewiring! We kept plugging at the basics until everyone had a level of comfort. We then broke for lunch. You could order lunch for an additional fee on arrival, or bring your own. We brought ours, but everyone who ordered seemed to really enjoy theirs. After lunch, we did a few more basics, and then it was time to hit the trail. Man those bikes are fast, and deceptively heavy. I will not lie. I crashed a few times. And then needed help to lift the bike, embarrassing! Be prepared, you will most likely crash or fall. Unless you are very well coordinated, it's hard to memorize all the steps in stopping properly with only a couple of seconds warning! But...it was SO MUCH FUN!! I did fall badly one time, and sprained my wrist. The instructor was quite calm, provided an ice pack immediately, and called for a buggy to come pick me and the bike back up to return to base. My wife and son kept going with the instructor. They did much better than I did (I will say in my defense my bike was much heavier than theirs, lol!) Steve, the owner, came quickly in the buggy and picked me up. I had a great chat with him. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the dirt bikes, ATVs and his business. My wife and son returned. Exhausted, full of stories, and with a great, fun experience. All in all, I have to say it was worthwhile adventure, Steve and his crew are good guys and make it what it is.
