The trail wasn't very clear from where we entered. The lake front didn't have a lot of places where we could sit. But beautiful colors in the fall.

My daughter and I loved riding our tandem bike through Indian Point Provincial Park. It doesn't have amenities, just a few simple paths through 950 hectares of forest, meadows, and wetlands. It has a few very small cleared areas along the shore, but not beaches or campsites. Wear boots, there is a lot of poison ivy.

The Indian Point Provincial Park trail head is at the beginning of the gravel road, parking on right and info sign on left! If you travel the road there is a large corner and at this point TURN AROUND AS THERE IS NO LONGER ACCESS TO THE PARK. THIS IS A PRIVATELY MAINTAINED ROAD WITH, PRIVATE MEMBERS AND FOR RESIDENTS ONLY, NO TRESPASSING WITH NO ACCESS TO BEACHES, CAMPING OR BOAT LAUNCHING. SIGNAGE IS POSTED AND IS NOW BEING MONITORED. WHILE IN PARK ENJOY ALL THE BEAUTY IT HAS TO OFFER. AT THE T IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PARK TO THE RIGHT LEADS TO A PRIVATE PARK WITH NO EXIT. DO NOT ENTER. TURN AROUND TO USE PROVINCIAL PARK TRAILS. GOOGLE MAPS NEEDS TO CORRECT THEIR CONTENT TO THIS AREA. PLEASE RESPECT OUR PRIVACY AND HAVE FUN IN THE PARK.

Swimming in that lake was the most relaxing thing I did all summer. The water is beautiful and the various water birds we saw seemed to agree!

Drove there to see the park, but haven't seen any parking areas, nor any facilities. It's just a natural reservation with no facilities and with free access. All the western side of the peninsula is cottages, with no access to the water.

The beach is great but it does get pretty busy by noon. Best to get there before 10 am or else getting a picnic table would be impossible. THE worse is when you are about to leave already and they are already sitting on your table with all your stuff.

My college goes there a lot for tree related studies. It's beautiful and well cared for, never seen any garbage!

This is a wilderness park so there are no amenities and the trails are not maintained. Manage your expectations. There is an old road that goes straight down the middle of the peninsula. It's wide and flat. The trails that go off this road can peter out so be forewarned. It's a very small park and not densely forested so with GPS you won't get lost but be prepared for a little wandering. And ticks but that's true everywhere these days.

Beautiful hiking along mostly clear and some overgrown trails through lovely scenic areas of forest, meadows, and by Balsam Lake. Easy, flat walking - suitable for families (tallish grasses along some parts).

Unless you booked a cabin on the lakeshore, otherwise this place is not for you. It has nothing to explore, no trails, no park, no camping facility at all.

We went in for about 10 min and had to quickly leave because we were covered in ticks! Stripped down near the car and picked off about 50 before leaving. Beautiful park but huge tick problem.

This is not a typical Provincial Park. One can walk through it or cycle through it. But it does not offee anything else.

Wasn't at all what I was expecting. There was no place to sit down or do any activities. It was just a long stretch of road for cottages. At the very end there's a spot where you can turn around/park your car and walk through fields/a forest. The paths are primarily used by ATV and snowmobile drivers so it isn't exactly your typical "hiking trail". Probably a nice place for your cottage but not great for tourists.

We went there thinking a park with beach however we could only see a forest with trees on both sides of the road & private properties. If you are going to ride a bicycle then I am sure that will be an amazing experience but if you are in a car then it's just a beautiful road sight with a small beach at the end. But honestly I loved the colorful trees on both sides of the road & then we went balsam lake and that was a happy ending.

I've been here many times since starting at Fleming College in Lindsay. It's great in all seasons. Beware of ticks. Signs are posted. They are serious. I've personally picked adult and nymph wood ticks from myself and my dog.

Not my favourite place for a walk as I like trails that are a loop and that are hilly. But this place is still beautiful. Park right at the entrance and there's just 1 path you walk in and you walk out. Depending on when you go, there may be some paths that come off of the main one but that is from people doing what they want when they are supposed to stay on the path. I have heard Park Rangers are now out in the area and ticketing people who are straying from the path. Past the parking, there is a road but it is to private residences and NO other parking further down the road NOR any other access points to the trail

Hi EVERYONE... Indian Point Provincial Park is really a beautiful park and was transferred to the Ontario Parks by my Great Aunt so l have a passion for the park and area. It has lovely trails for walking or skiing, not sleds, atvs or motorcross etc. There are several endangers species to be protected. IMPORTANT NOTICE! The Official park trail head is marked By signage and at the top of Grandy road where the pavement ends. If you do continue to travel and not park at the designated area and arrive at the Big Corner where there is signage For INDIAN POINT Residents and is a A PRIVATE ROAD For Members!!! Soon a Ontario Parks sign will say “not an authorized access road. This is where you TURN AROUND!!!!!! There is no access to the park at any point on our private road. Respect our privacy and go back to the official trail head. The tennis court road that so many think is an access is our privately owned too and is not to be utilize for access in to the trails nor exiting thru the park.. NO PARKING NO TRESPASSING Signs are posted and that also applies to the end of our road towards the cul de sac. It is Also NO ACCESS, NO PARKING. Fines are going to be enforced with the amount of people accessing. Signs are posted currently posted and still people ignore and think is is okay. Private property is private property as your own home would be. Please respect and be considerate and know you are able to enjoy public property at the proper entrance. Trespassers will be subject to prosecution going forward. Enjoy the park... not our property. Thank you! President Indian Point Property Owners Association.

Its spring,so nothing is green. But this place has a beauty of its own. Beautiful limestone rocky shoreline. Awesome gnarly cedars. The road getying into it was nasty and full of pot holes.but like i said. Its spring

A dense wild forest rather than a well maintained provincial park. Access at the end of Indian Point Road, about 15 min drive off Highway 35. Not sure if that was the main entrance or even the only entrance, there was no map or any signboard for navigation there. It doesn't help either that Google Maps doesn't show anything other than a patch of green. Also beware of ticks.

Actually my rating is at list 3.75 , possibly even 4, but comfort stations and toilettes are not.Comfort stations are not located with equal distance from all the sections of the otherwise great Park.Some areas has lots of them , others too far.The stans alone toilette are a bit outdated and neeed far better maintance. Beach was great,lots of trails to walk or bicycle.Over all very nice place but needs some improvement of comfort stations.
