This is a different type of park. It is a natural area, an Alvar. It is an amazing area for bird watching and photography. It is not like most provincial parks.

Serene and mysterious grassland like unique place in Ontario. Highly recommend to visit

We drove north on Wylie Road and then East on Alvar Road. Be aware that these "roads" are similar to ATV trails. They are not suitable for your average vehicle. They are filled with potholes and after or during a slight rain some areas will be large pools of water. Navigating these narrow, bumpy, muddy, water-covered, remote roads was not a pleasant experience.
