First time visit and it won't be my last. New ownership is fantastic. Aiden, Jim and Matt provided excellent and friendly service the whole week. The fishing and lodgings were excellent as well!

They threaten violence against dogs and people with disabilities

Rick at rufus lake lodge like to threaten animals if they happen to get off leash... says they're lucky they dog get shot.... he is the only one around to do so....... not a friendly family place....... swore at me and wanted to fight when asking about the dog, was drunk at 5pm when i tried to meet with him.. Wouldnt even give a one star if i could go lower

Fantastic. Hard working family and it shows with the excellent accommodations they supply. Amazing, how we managed to keep our dog leashed, taking into cosideration that there are other families around.( prior post).

This an amazing place. Anyone looking to enjoy nature and forget about the GTA should come here. Anyone who has written a negative review has never been here. Nothing negative about it.
