Nice little getaway in town

Hayden Scott -ScottProject

Perfect location minutes away from downtown to catch that night sky.

Zion Chong

Great trail for family or individual hiking, the trails are categorized into 3 different difficulty depending on inclination. There is also a water fall but it is not part of the trail, you have to walk up a sketchy and kind of dangerous trail but it's worth the walk. The are a lot of entrance to the trail the 2 main ways are from downtown or from sahali secondary.

Nice little spot for a picnic lunch. A great little hike available along Creek if water level is low. You can carefully hike in to a small waterfall which has a small cave behind it. Not for feeble walkers. Agility a must. Very nice spot across from Denny's restaurant, get your lunch and head over with it for a change of pace.

Annette Glover

We were very curious about the new biking/hiking trail joining downtown at 6th Avenue to Sahali - great job! It's a test biking up the hill but the engineers were as considerate as feasible we believe. Great addition to the trail system!

Maggie loves it!!

Open, there is spacious adventures the ideal place to have a little picnic. There is lots of parking and numerous trails to walk around. You could spend three weeks there and never walk the same path twice. Everyone I have met there is very friendly. The paths are fairly well maintained, but you run into the occasional trail where there has been a slide. Beginner to intermediate

Jennifer Janz

Beautiful spot for the dogs!

Paul Topp

Ryan Ferguson

Michelle

Wow in downtown Kamloops! I have seen this waterfall while driving past on highway many times. I wanted to see it up close and so glad I finally did. There are paths to choose for all hiking abilities but they don't all show the fall. The trails throughout are well used. Take caution as some are very narrow, some steep with loose dirt/gravel or stairs.

brett bolyos

Good hike nice views

Colby Russell

An amazing park, love the creek going through it.

Carrie-Anne Doucette

Gorgeous place to go for a walk or a hike. There are several trails to accommodate all levels of fitness. There is a port-a-potty available in the parking lot that is kept quite clean. In the winter, the trails are usually compacted with snow, so caution is needed not to slip.

Becky Blixrud

A slice of nature right inside the city.

Mary Callahan

Kind of disappointing.Nothing super impressive. One medium sizish waterfall.

HODL ANDREW

Beautiful park

Corissa George

FUN! I have ALWAYS wanted to hike up in these trails, constantly driving on the Red Bridge looking in awe at the trails & people enjoying, but in all of my years never have until now. I was happy to be able to do so with my family as well. It wasn’t the easiest drive, at least the way google GPS took me, but we got there & tons of parking! We went for the waterfall, so we followed trail markers leading to it. We did ignore the signs of warning & knew the risks. We took the “easiest/safest” route & made it safely to/from. We were not disappointed & I am sure would be greater in size around spring, early summer. Definitely a lovely hike & easily managed by myself, my husband who is seeing impaired & our girls 10 & 12. We took one way to the falls & a different way back. All views lovely & we enjoyed the diversity of the vegetation we walked through. So glad we took the time. From parking lot to falls & back, 1 hour. Well maintained & super tidy. Graffiti is disappointing to see but what can one do. Enjoy your hike, be mindful of dangers & make choices appropriate to your abilities.

Brent Kennedy

Nice hiking trails. A real Kamloops gem.

Charley Blake

Whilst in town, we decided to walk to this park. It was a really hot sunny day, fortunately, we had bottled water with us. There were other people walking trails while we were here, so it must be a popular park. You get some great views of the surrounding area, as you get higher up. Walking shoe's/boots needed, as the trails are uneven. Well worth the visit.

Low Benoit

It is touristic and the view isn't that great

Diane Peppard

What a lovely walk!! Really nice walk to the falls.

Shane Peace

Great place to visit

Lauryn Adolph

It's a neat-o trail, the tiny waterfalls are very cool to see. A real nice place to hike during the summer :^)

Trevor Houston

One of my favourite hikes in Kamloops. Very unique landscape, beautiful waterfall and trails for all skill levels. A must see.

Andrew Scott

A number of entrances and different looks, some level areas for an easy walk, some steeper trails. A 'nature walk' is possible in city limits here.

wayne tomma

Kevin Kwitkowski

Excellent trails, well maintained. Fun for the whole family

Lorne Schalm

Nice to walk in, fully lighted at night. Has a good elevation change so you can actually get some workout done at the same time.

Dan Nelson

No, so bad. Don't come here, stay away.. it's terrible.

Jo-Anne Lappin

Peterson Creek is a beautiful spot right in downtown Kamloops if you are not looking for it you wouldn't know it was there. It has trails and Creek and caves and a waterfall higher up. Don't go farther than you can go safely at certain times of the year the end of the trail can be treacherous. A step out of town and you are in nature. I love going to this place!

Monique Deschambeault

relaxing and nice park to go for walks or to go sit in the shade on hot days
