Beautiful park for a hike. Lots of different hikes available with a variety of intensities. I like to go to the northeast side to enjoy the views. Good places for an on leash dog walk too.

Decent park. There are trails all over, but there is a lot of mud in the Spring. The trails are not too difficult and you cannot hear the traffic. If it is a good day out, then the sun illuminates the area really well. There are plenty of birds here.

Great trails for every level and most have phenomenal views and lookout points. Not too crowded but be prepared to share the trails with others hiking, jogging, mountain biking or walking the dog. Great little escape within the city

40 km of trails accessed from 4 different trailhead parking areas. Beautiful vistas overlooking Thompson River valley to the north. Favourite trail is Scenic Trail which has a beautiful viewing deck at end overlooking Kamloops Lake.

No shortage of branching paths and breath-taking views. Trails are mostly on an incline. Lots of nature as bugs and birds are everywhere. Plant life is also incredibly varied and seing the view come into focus as you reach the summit will give you feels. Exercise caution and wear sun protection and hydrate, you will be in direct sun most of the hike and the incline plus sweat will dehydrate you.

Very nice park overlooking Kamloops a lot of uphill walking. In the summer make sure you bring your own water it gets very very hot.

We had never been to Kamloops and the park, like many other things in Kamloops was a pleasant surprise. A municipal park with a great network of hiking and biking trails. Its a wide open walk with great views of the city and valley.

Amazing hiking! Be careful after it rains, the mud we hiked through was intense but otherwise the hike was incredible! Had a group of 28 children and they loved it, easy enough for the whole family, with black diamond trails for those experienced hikers!

An awesome park with lots of trails to explore! I was on a weekend trip and could only spend a bit of time to explore the area, but it was a great location! I did the sunset trail (it was kind of hard to find as you need to follow several different trails before you see any sign of sunset trail, such as the never-ending ponderosa trail) - but it was worth it! I hiked with my stan smiths thinking it wouldn’t be so bad, as it was rated easy, but i wish I used a proper hiking shoes. Area’s pretty open too with limited shade, so it can be quite hot when the sun’s up - don’t forget to bring a hat or cap! I’d definitely come back to explore more! :)

Weather was great. Trails are well marked from several entrances. Single track and multi track trails with nice views of Kamloops' valley and river. Awesome
