Great place to walk during the winter time. Bring your dogs to Lac Beauvert and they will enjoy walking or running on the frozen lake. This lake is close to Jasper Park Lodge.

This lake is spectacular! A pro tip: come during the shoulder season (early-mid May) in order to capture the views while the resort is quiet. This lake is a part of a larger resort and golf course, so you can imagine that in the summer the place is teeming with vacationing families. In May however, there were but a few individuals taking in the scenery, allowing us to stroll around the lake in peace and quiet. Stopping where we wanted to. An additional tip: this lake and Lake Annette are two of the first lakes to melt as the seasons transition in the area. So if in Banff, definitely shoot up here for a day.

The golf course has great scenery, nice walk but you do walk through a resort which I found pretty awkward

Beautiful clear mountain lake bordering Jasper Park Lodge and their golf course. Nice easy walk or bike around the lake, be careful of tree roots though.
