We went on level 2 athabasca canyon as a group of 6. 2 boomers, 2 zoomers and 2 millenials. Almost all of us were first time rafters and it was an absolute blast! Cody our guide was great, he was very accommodating to my sprained arm that I had a couple hours before the trip. He was also very accommodating to the guests who didn't know English well. The experience was so amazing, we can't wait to go again! Once again I want to reiterate how awesome Cody was :)

Went on the Class 3 rafting experience and had SO much fun! The guides were great and the trip was a blast! They provide all the gear and despite it being super cold and rainy out, my husband and I weren't that cold the whole time. (Just put your hands in your life jacket on the slow parts!)

Jasper Rafting Adventures was an incredible experience, we had Thomas as our guide, and he really made the excursion that much better. We really appreciated his sense of humor and his knowledge of the Sunwapta river. Thomas went the extra mile to keep us comfortable and even lent us his water gloves to keep our hand warm on the refreshing day.

Our group had an amazing time! Most of us were first timers, so some (myself included!) were hesitant to go but this easily became one of the highlights of our trip. We did the course at Lake Athabasca. We had Andy as our guide and he made the experience 100x more enjoyable. The entire team (Andy, Annaja, Will, Jeff) were super fun, informative and knowledgeable. They made sure all the guests were comfortable and that everyone felt included. Highly recommended!! I would suggest that ladies wear bathing suits and bring a flowy/loose dress or coverup to use when changing as we had to change inside the bus. They kept it private per group so no issue with privacy but would be much easier if I had a dress/coverup to use.

We went for the sunwupta river trip. With the self drive option we only had to spend 10 mins on the bus to get to the starting point. Jordan was our guide, he was professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk with, made everyone on our boat very comfortable. The team had a good process set up to distribute and collect equipments as well.

We had a fabulous time on July 23 on the Class II excursion - we'll definitely try the Sunwapta one next year. Our guide was Imy and she was exceptional! Funny and engaging and obviously a pro. Mariam and Sabrina were also hilarious and excellent, and we for sure had the best bus! Definitely recommend this excursion - it's hilarious and you just laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh!

Our family had a great time with our first white water rafting experience on the Athabasca River. My spouse was initiually hesitant as we had no experience, but our guide, Jen, was confident, capable, and provided excellent instruction as well as pointing out things of interest as we paddled. Our kids also loved it and fully participated in this amazing experience; white water rafting is something we will be trying again in the future. I saw a comment about the length of time on the river; it was about 40 minutes and was more than enough for us first-timers.

We went on the 5 mile tour, and had a blast. As beginners, we were a little nervous. But as we discovered there was no need to be. The Instructions were clear and our guide Jen was a hoot. It was a fun, safe time. As soon as we were done- I wanted to go again! This will be a regular thing to do in Jasper for us from now on. The staff was efficient, professional and fun, and they helped make this experience worth every penny. I HIGHLY recommend them.

This is a must do when coming to Jasper. I recommend the Sunwapta River which has multiple rapids and a breathtaking view of the mountains. The crew supplies up with transportation, a wet suit, helmet and great local guides. Well worth the time and money spent. A huge THANK YOU to Eddie, Liz, Mike and Liam for the fun bus ride and the even exciting and rocky time on the river.

If I could choose more than 5 stars I totally would. My wife and I had the pleasure of doing or first rafting trip on Monday the 26th and oh what an absolute riot! We took it easy for the first time and did the 5 mile run with our amazing guide Klara, whatever you're paying that girl it isn't enough as she is absolutely phenomenal. We will definitely be back next summer and will tackle either the Athabasca run or Sunwapta. Thank you all very much for an absolutely amazing experience and to Calvin the best bus driver/photographer I've ever met!

5 STARS With my beautiful daughter leaving the province to go to school, I figure a trip to Jasper to spend some time with her while visiting a long time friend was appropriate. As a group we decided to book a rafting trip with Jasper Rafting Adventures and what a great adventure we all had. With Covid-19 still affecting businesses, the staff of JRA were very safety and health conscious. We were the only group for the 2:30pm slot and all the staff wore masks and masks were provided as well. After a short bus ride, some introductions and laughs we arrived at our departure zone. Cody, Jordan and Derek were extremely helpful assisting us in getting our wet-suits, water shoes, life jackets and paddles. Cody gave exceptional instruction on safety and technique and before long we were on the water. Cody was a great guide who provide insight to the river and it's ecology, some history of the land, the names of the mountains, rocks and areas and made for a fun, sometime wet, adventure. We all agreed afterwards that we wanted to go on another Jasper Rafting Adventure but Class-3, and I know we will all be back. Highly Recommended.

We did the Mile 5 and it was simply an awesome experience! The crew was very friendly, with the right dose of humor to help calm the nerves for us first timers, and they were diligent and attentive to safety, too. The river was at its highest level so the currents were strong and pretty wild in some spots but our guide, Nate, was a pro in getting us through the best splashes safely but with a thrill. The wet suit, booties, and socks that they provide helped to keep us dry and enjoy the whole ride, which was important because the water was very cold. I like that the maximum per raft for this ride was six people. And it was great to have professional photos taken by Andre. At just $30, the photos are totally worth it for the memories. Thank you, Andre and Nate and everyone else.

Our group of 5 went on their River Rafting trip with Jasper Rafting Adventures and had possibly the highlight of our entire two week trip to Alberta. Our guide, Eric was very lively and entertaining for the whole trip and provided us with a lot of fun facts and conversations. Most of our group had no previous experience with rafting and he made it very easy and comfortable for everyone. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Jasper!

We had an awesome time. The guides were amazing (Michael was our guide). Very few of us had gone rafting before so no worries about being a rookie. The water is cold but they give everyone wetsuits. We did the 3.5 Hour Sunwapta Trip. They bus you out, get you outfitted with a safety discussion and then you’re on the water! Tons of fun!

Took on the Grade III Sunwapta River rapids and had an incredible time. Spent around an hour on the river, the waves were amazing, about 50% of the time we were on relatively calm waters, but the other half we were getting a great ride and soaked. Our guide (Spencer, I think) was very friendly and engaging, making sure all 6 of the crew were chatting most of the journey. He made sure to direct the boat into enough of the proper rapid sections and get everyone wet. Expect to get soaked through your wetsuit and be freezing for a while, but that's half the fun! Self driving is easy - 45 minutes from Jasper to meet the bus just south of the falls, you leave your car in a small parking area off the side of the parkway. The bus takes you another 10 minutes. The photographer does go with you on land - only shame was we never saw the pics! It would be great if this was emailed to you after or something. Overall great experience I'd recommend to anyone who likes activity and nature, some of the views you get are amazing. Even when raining, it's still a good shout of what to do in Jasper.

Wow! What an amazing trip we had with Jasper Rafting Adventures. From the moment we arrived, the guides were very helpful and answered all our questions. The trip down river was so much fun and our guide Spencer was awesome! I would recommend these folks for anyone looking for an action packed white water experience.

Exhilarating, fun and exciting all at the same moment. These guys are great, especially our guide named Connor. The only thing that's could've been slightly better is the photographer. It would have been nice to have more photos of the background scenery. We were a group of ten, and all of the boys thought that we should've got a group photo of us together, instead of just five of us each (hence two photos, which we asked for). We did ask the guide and he said that they had to take all the gear back and they were behind schedule, so it was kinda disappointing to the group. I mean this is the only thing that everybody didn't like, since we have to leave all our gear ie. phones and cameras in the bus. And maybe a few more shots, as there weren't as many as expected. Other rafting trips tended to take more photos from different spots a long the river and a big group photo which we asked for and didn't get. Don't let this take you away from the experience, as it was such a fun trip. You must try and experience it for yourself. We went on the Sunwapta River. The waves themselves were ok, not that bad and easy. I would consider this a level two, however they rated it a three. The group thought there would be more waves and bouncing around. ????

Had a great time with Spencer, Jeff, Liam, Shane and Eddie on the river this morning . The adventure started with a warm welcome before boarding a refitted (iconic) school bus to the River itself. The group was split into rafts and we had the pleasure of being in Jeff's safe hands, who guided us through the journey down river. It's a great way to see the surrounding park landscape and such a buzz. All the guides were knowledgeable and good fun. Respect to Eddie who popped up at various stages of the trip to capture photos of our adventure ( you can buy the photos with cash on the bus (after previewing the images) or use plastic at the offices). A real buzz of an activity.

Took our UK family rafting from the Upper Athabasca Falls. Their first time and they loved it. There was 11 of us and we had 2 rafts, Ryan was our pilot, really nice guy. Definitely go back next year to do a class 3. Price was very good as we did the Peak to Paddle and the climb to the top of Whistler was amazing.

Amazing rafting experience! We chose Athabasca Fall Rafting and it was about 3 hours. You don’t have to worry what to wear, they will provide you wetsuit, jacket, gloves and everything you need. My suggestion is taking a bath towel and dry yourself after taking off the wetsuit especially when the weather was not good. It was only 3 degree and it was raining when we did rafting, but our guide and staffs were super supportive and inspiring. Our guide is Thomas and he kept encouraging us and taught us how to keep our body warm. The weather was bad, but the experience was wonderful. Definitely recommended if you stay at Jasper for one or two days.

First time white water rafting. We did the Athabasca 5 Mile as the Sunwapta River has just closed. It was such a great time! I highly recommend sitting in the front for a truly full experience as we did (you actually get wet) it also makes for great GoPro footage! Will definitely like to try the Sunwapta River as it is a Class III opposed to the class II. Highly recommend.

The staff is absolutely wonderful, but be advised that the durations listed on each excursion is not the time on the water. The Mile 5, listed at 2 hours, was more like: 15 minutes to wait for people who didn't show up on time, 15 minutes to drive to the launch spot, 15 minutes to get suited up and safety instructions, 30 minutes on the water, 15 minutes to change back into your dry clothes, and the final 15 to drive back. But again, the staff was super great. That being said, the short time on the water is definitely an experience and the views are spectacular.

Totally worth it. Great people, easy to book.Water was awesome, quite high and moved fast. We did the Sunwapta tour which was a Class 2 the first fifteen minutes then a Class 3 for the last part. Lots of water in the face and paddling. It was our second trip in a week and we are now looking for a Class 4 :)
