Very helpful staff, friendly people that know all about the town and info about good hotels and restaurants in the area. Plenty of information about the history and wildlife of the Arctic, Inuvik and Tuk.

Staff were so nice. We got Arctic Circle certificates. One of the better visitor centres we have been too as these girls explained in good detail what there is in the area and what to see and do where other places just sat there and waited for us to ask a question with limited direction. Nice displays. Serves free coffee and tea.

Very neat visitors center with lots of interesting information. The center has a front desk to ask questions and learn more but it also features a mini museum with artifacts and information about Canada's Western Arctic. There is also a crafting area where some local artisans produce their work! A must visit for tourists and anyone wanting to learn more about the area!

They also prepared authentic certificates for us attesting to the fact we had crossed the Arctic circle and had dipped our toes in the Arctic Ocean. Then, when she realized it was my birthday she had the whole WARUC staff write birthday wishes in the book Dempster Highway which they offered me as well as a wonderful poster of the Dempster Highway in the autumn. Thank you Amber and your team for your warm welcome. Amber and her team have served us so well, giving us a lot of information, our certificates for the Arctic Circle and for soaking our feet in the Arctic Ocean. Great place to visit. The staff were very friendly and informative. I also attended an artist demonstration here and enjoyed that.
