What an amazing eco-trip down the Harrison river. The Harrison is so full of life and biodiversity. Amazing when you think it is only 90 minutes from Vancouver. The tour boat was roomy, warm and dry. Bring your best camera for some amazing pics!. I can't wait to go back in Eagle salmon and eagle season.
We went on the rainbow falls tour. And it was awesome! Our tour guide Molly was very nice and professional. Even tho it was raining it was a beautiful view of the lake and falls. We spent about 20 mins at the falls. We felt it was enough time. Would recommend ????
We had a fantastic time

Fantastic service by the staff and the guides. Lots of great conversations. As for the experience, one of a kind around a beautiful lake and rivers. My girlfriend loved it so much that it was her favourite activity while we were visiting BC. Although I had paddled before many times, this was especially memorable because of its views and the colder waters. The only down sides is that the beach is very close to water treatment plant, which of course taints the waters. Also, the winds can get really strong, so I would check conditions before setting off (and check with the staff). Otherwise a 5 star experience.
I had an absolutely fabulous experience with Harrison Eco Tours I visited in December /January I visited rainbow waterfalls they were truly stunning I also went on an eagle tour and managed to get up close to a juvenile bald eagle, I felt truly blessed (what an experience) I have also visited in June where I had the opportunity to see the Ospreys and lucky enough to see a bear swimming across the river Would highly recommend Harrison Eco tours The guides were great and very informative Just book on line or call in to the office in Harrison Hot Springs Hotel
Beautiful scenery. Great people
Beautiful trip without complication but we expected more. We expected information and dialogue with the crew (driver). He had little to offer on history or ecology of the region or river. The boat was small and I felt cramped. Most people ultimately migrated to the rear of the boat - given that there was little to hear from the driver.
My husband and I had a great time! We were the only two on the tour, and it felt like we had the whole river to ourselves for most of it. Carla was very personable and added to the experience. The lunch provided was very good too.
'Rainbow Falls Jet Boat Tour & Walk' It was awesome. we enjoyed very fun time.
Scott is a good GM
One of the best experiences of my life. This was my first time and it was truly magical. Can’t wait to do this again.
Whilst the staff are super friendly and nice, this was definitely not a ‘guided’ tour and was more cattle herding to ensure you don’t get hit by a boat. I was really hoping and anticipating on the Kayak tour that they would help us look out for wildlife as all their commercials suggest is a big reason to do the tour. Pictures are terrible due to unfortunate wildfires which is not a bad stance towards Harrison Eco Tours but I would have suggested they reschedule for a clearer day.
Very good org. Tour guides are very knowledgeable about the activity, the safety measures and the local context (ecological & historical).
Pricey but totally worth it. Amazing and friendly guides. They take their time to sanitize the kayaks and they are really friendly and safe.
Took a boat trip from Harrison to Harrison Mills was a very nice trip the staff on the boat were fantastic the food was good and the sights are very memorable will take the trip again Lots of eagles out there and seagulls
(Translated) The hotel's hot pool is really nice, the buffet breakfast was excellent and we had dinner at the restaurant in the square and my fish and chips was really crisp and tasty. He lacked a valet, poor sir he was alone in the middle of Friday. We decided to take our suitcase ourselves to the room. He told us he had been overwhelmed all day. Otherwise, room service and reception were very efficient. The children had a lot of fun in the inflatable games on the lake with their dad. The module was very diverse. As a matter of fact, we had a lovely time at this place.
It was an awesome experience! Our tour-guide, Finley, was the gnarliest guy, super awesome man. The tour itself was nothing short of breathtaking, being on the water without a motor surrounded by nothing other than history and nature. If you want a tour in Harrison, choose these guys.
We did not have a good experience here. they gave the two seat kayak we had booked to other clients and barely apologized. Some of the worst customer service. I’m only giving it one star because the scenery along the tour was beautiful. The tour guides are good but the sales/customer service staff are terrible.
Carla was our guide and she was so good at making us feel safe and giving us clear instructions. She went about and beyond in our tour by explaining a lot of interesting facts about the area.
Karla was a great guide! Super personable.
Guide cancelled last minute due to wind. Fair call however no previous communication was sent as we had to rush to make the timing.
Carla was our guide and she was a joy to be with! We were lucky we went early so the lake was virtually empty and we were able to go at an easy pace. Took the two hour tour and that was more than enough time to enjoy the sights. We found a deal on groupon however booked directly through the business :)
My gf bought a groupon and 4 of us took part in a 2 hr kayak up the Harrison River a couple Saturdays ago. It's a beautiful area to paddle and it was nice to go with a guide since we had never kayaked there before and she showed us the safest places to paddle away from the other deeper side that the boats use. I was disappointed that we didn't get to go further, but my gf's shoulder was bugging her and we decided to just hang out in the bay. Also, it does take some time to paddle back, especially when you are headed straight into the wind and it gets choppy on the lake. Our guide was Karla and she was very personable. She also took some groups shots for us on her phone and then emailed them to me. Thanks Karla! We will back for the longer Kilby trip one day soon!
We had a wonderful experience with Molly as our guide. She is very knowledgeable about the area and is a very capable jet boat captain. We will be booking some fishing charters with them in the future and we will definitely be recommending her and the tour to our friends. Thank you again Molly!
Took my sister for a kayaking trip. It was beautiful and fun, but I think if you're in the afternoon group they assume you're lazy and go incredibly slow. That was pretty frustrating, even for my sister who was brand new to kayaking.
Tried: - once in Aug 2020, so review may not be conclusive - 2-hour guided tour, morning Pros: - beautiful/scenic location - good service - simple sign-in procedure - tour guide (Carla) was helpful, conscious about safety, and nice to talk to - Starbucks and restrooms available near their office, inside the hotel Considerations: - 2-hour passes by quick, felt rushed at times - advertised as an excellent chance to see wildlife. We saw one eagle, was hoping to see more wildlife - no dedicated parking option. Expensive parking available at the hotel. We parked on the street a few blocks away for free, spots were available at ~8:30 am - was concerned by the high number of people in the neighbouring water park area. Surprised that such large and close gatherings are allowed during current COVID-19 situation
What a great tour. Tony our guide was very knowledgeable. The Lake/ Rainbow falls trip was stunning.
We decided to take a last minute kayak tour and it was awesome. Our guides were helpful, enthusiastic and just fantastic. Highly recommend.
My family won a boat tour through Canuck place, We had Molly as our tour guide and we cant say enough good things about her. She was so welcoming and friendly and we were pleasantly surprised by how much fun the tour was. We would defiantly recommend Molly and Harrison Eco Tours!
Great staff, friendly and most helpful.
Tony was an excellent guide! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was unbelievable! We will definitely do this again.
Tony was our guide. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He got us close enough to get great views of the eagles but not so close as to disturb them and was very conscientious about other boaters on the river. It was a fantastic experience.
Lovely nature
Tourguide, Molly was really kind, approachable, and knowledgeable. Even made room for the dog! And let my daughter sit in the copilot seat on the return trip from Rainbow Falls. Highly recommended. Excellent value.
Purchased the Groupon a few months ago. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we had to cancel our original reservation. Harrison Eco Tours made it easy to cancel the reservation and gave us a credit to use when we were ready. First time on a kayak and was very impressed by the tour guides, thank you Molly and coworker. Harrison River is a true beauty. Overall, we had a large tour group but was very easy to social distance when in the kayaks.
Amazing guide, spent a wonderful time put on the water and we all greatly enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Carla, was super friendly and assisting and made sure we were all comfortable for the trip.
The scenic river tour was beautiful, unfortunately we were not taken all the way where the Harrison river meets Fraser river which was supposedly the highlight of the tour as per their description on the website.
Jet boat tour with Molly was excellent! Knowledgeable and friendly guide. Highly recommend this tour to learn about Harrison River and Lake. We saw a couple bald eagles and several seals.
Very friendly staff. I will for sure come back again.
We saw hundreds of bald eagles from the river. It was incredible. Our pilot and guide, Frank, was very informative about the area and wildlife. We would highly recommend this trip.
Went to Harrison Hot Springs specifically for the kayaking tour and the hot springs. We started off by signing our paper work and getting our stuff ready and the people in the office were super nice. We then got changed and went and seen Vanessa and Keegan to start our kayaking trip. The water was so beautiful and serene I was so at peace just slowly taking in the scenery. Vanessa and Keegan were super nice and we had a lot of fun with them. I was sad to go back into the hotel lol. Would for sure do this again.
