Richard Tousignant

Great hike, really fabulous views, I'd suggest ignoring the Google maps directions and found to the end of Water Street to that parking lot as there is many more spots available

Bill Dykstra

This is a spectacular hike. Beautiful views, especially from up on top of the highest points you can climb to. Stunning. The family thoroughly enjoyed this hike.

Nakita Williams

Beautiful coastside walk. A couple of steep places but I think manageable for all levels.

Paul Johnston

Rustic. No amenities, but fantastic view.

Tiffany Dawson

Super gorgeous walk, and very easy and accessible. You don’t need to be in any kind of physical shape to go and enjoy these beautiful views in bay Roberts. I love hikes and I love the challenge, but this one being easy does not disappoint. Really great way to spend some time on your own or with someone you love!

Kaitlin Casey

Lovely trail, and not too difficult at all!!

Renée F MacDonald

A beautiful, scenic trail with small beaches as you walk along the 6.3km loop. Trail is an easy walk and kid friendly. Historic root cellars and rock walls along the route with detailed signs. Outhouses along the route but do not offer toilet paper or sanitizer. Some picnic tables along the way. A nearby cafe restaurant. I enjoyed my experience.

This is an amazing coastal trail located at the north end of Bay Roberts. On a clear day views along this trail are truly spectacular; from rocky beaches to grassy meadows to cliff tops, this beautiful little gem has it all.

Great hike with my younger companions, only downside: to make a loop, second half of trail on a gravel road (but nice and flat). The trail actually starts (& parking available) 1.2 km West of this pin, off Water Street—near Crane’s Hill Wharf.

Jenny Tang

Beautiful! Can't believe this is someone's backyard! Easy trail leading to picnic areas and majestic views. Great rate of return on such little effort.

Olivier Murgier

(Translated) Landscapes breathtaking. Wonderful hike by the sea, dotted with root cellars here and there, iceberg at the key! (Original) Paysages à couper le souffle. Merveilleuse randonnée en bord de mer, parsemée de root cellars ci et là, iceberg à la clé !

A pretty walk along the shoreline to Mad Rocks, where big waves crash and create a swirling foamy sea. Easy hiking with nice viewpoints. End at the Mad Rocks cafe, great food, friendly people.

We loved this place! Beautiful area to walk along the shoreline. Lots of friendly people. Great toutons!

Daniel

World class views. Walk there twice a week for the entire length. Many routes to follow. Lots of history.

Francesca Patten

This is a great walking trail. The parking lot is at the end of Water St. (although there is also some room at the end of Front St.) and the loop requires you to walk along the road for most of the walk. To avoid the majority of the road, I would recommend altering the loop slightly by taking the path on the left across from the cafe, if you take the Front St. route. There are some areas that are close enough to cliffs that I would recommend caution bringing kids on the whole route. For adults, just practice cliff safety and use common sense. Some of the areas can get quite wet, including some of the stone steps. Still, the path is not overly busy and has some fantastic views. Bring a sweater as it can get windy!

You gotta go on this trail. Beautiful natural beauty

Pete Wheeler

If you're in Bay Robert's you have got to go on one of these tours out towards the mad rock area. Friendly tour guide and great music.

Excellent hiking trail. One of my fabourite places on the Avalon Peninsula. Ideal for families with kids and any outdoors lover. Great scenery with places for picnic.

Bongo Boy

Excellent trail and easy to follow .Many places you can go "cross country " to shorten the walk if needed .Many unprotected cliffs to avoid with children in tow .Not too much elevation change , so good for older hikers .

Great time walking this trail. It was 30 degrees when we did it with no a breath of wind. I enjoy the old root cellars and trying to imagine what it used to be like for the old fishing community's.
