Symbol of historical Guelph. John McCrae house shares a significant part of Canadian history and its brave people. I realised that Canadian goverent should promote more tourism and organize tours to such historical places for Canadians as well as foreign tourists. This will also contribute to economical growth.

Class trip with grade 3 class. Ken was great, but stories, though accurate, were too gory for the age group.

A piece of out heritage but the inside was small and really didnt have alot about the gentleman. The entry donation is 6 dollars which I feel is over priced compared to what you can see.

Located on Water Street the home of John McCrae & Garden. 'Lest We Forget'. To see the Monument Statue of John McCrae visit the Basilica Of Our Lady Immaculate & the Guelph Civic Museum on Norfolk Street. The Statue overlooks downtown Guelph.

We loved going to the McCrea house! It was full of history, posters, and artifacts. The staff were really nice, friendly, and chatty. We loved seeing the militia uniforms, and the diary’s of John McCrea. It was really interesting to learn about how, where, why, and when he wrote the poem In Flanders Fields.

Small, but fantastic museum in the birthplace of John McCrae. In addition to personal artifacts, the exhibits give more information about McCrae's life besides his time in WWI. I especially enjoyed his sketchbooks. The memorial garden is also lovely to spend some time in.

It's Dr. McCrae childhood home which has been preserved as a heritage site and showcases his incredible life achievements. It's not a large museum but we easily spent a ½ hour here reading the exhibits. Admission is included with the Guelph Museum. I enjoyed it. Recommended.

Simon Hare

Deeply moving.

Great show 2 actors who were amazing Perfect night.

Ive always loved this quiet, quaint, pretty memorial park and house- it's John McMcraes actually birthplace. I particularly love the large bronzed book of the poem "In Flanders Fields" featured in the park. You can purchase poppies in spring to plant in your own garden. Lots of street parking and the beautiful river walking trail is across the road. Easy walk or drive for an icecream at the Boathouse, or a bit farther for restaurants. Down the hill from the University of Guelph.

Day was beautiful. Weather was as well. Service efficient and pleasant. Exhibit excellent! Then High Tea was served. Two scones with. jam, butter and whipped cream, a small bowl of strawberries and blueberries. Treats were a disappointment ...two small triangles of almond cake..no other choices! Total $17.00 PER PERSON...VERY overpriced!!!! $8 to $10 would have been more appropriate

Mike DuQuesnay

Takes you back to a time where men and women fought for our freedom and for what we take for granted today.

Deborah Berry

Loved the outdoor theatre and this performance of Mary's Wedding!! Gets a standing ovation from me on its opening night!!! Deborah B.

Shir the girl who was at the McCrae house when we visited was very knowledgeable and advised us to also visit the Guelph Civic museum . However, unfortunately time didn't permit but will definitely go there at another time. Very interesting and learned some things we didn't know about John McCrae. Guelph is also a very interesting and picturesque Ontario town.

Jeff Hilborn

Really a Guelph landmark worth seeing, interesting exhibits

Henry Walcarius

Great place to visit. Very friendly staff. You must try the tea.
