We played Framed and Alice. Overall a good experience.. Most of the puzzles worked well and were enjoyable. In Framed we found one of the puzzles to be a bit tedious. We knew what to do but still took us 10 min to complete it. Thankfully that was the exception rather than the norm. Alice was a bit more hit and miss. Very fun theme and again some interesting puzzles sprinkled in. I didn't love the linear design as it meant that some people got bored or left out. For context, we've played 25 escape rooms across 8 cities. Framed ranked closer to the top of the rooms we've played while Alice ranked near the middle. Decent offerings overall.

This place is absolutely amazing, I did the scary log cabin with a few friends, and wow it was good, I didn't y'know if I would like the scape room, but this place is amazing, you get really into in with the puzzles and the design, and honestly you just feel really immersed. So yes defanitly try this place out, because it will be worth your while

Cute experience. Took my daughter and she enjoyed it as did I. We were ambitious with the level we chose and next time we will select a touch easier. Puzzles were challenging and pushed us to work as a team and communicate to sold the puzzles.

9.5/10 Excellent puzzles, a lot of hands on activity in “Framed”. Greatly enjoyed by our close-knit group of 4 adults. We appreciated the guidance which was available whenever needed, and the enthusiasm that accompanied real passion for the industry from the owners! A bit of maintenance would have made this only a slightly more smooth experience.

So much fun. With colleagues, we completed the two room challenge of Alice and Wizard. Both were fantastically fun. Very thoughtful detail. Several of the team members plan to go back to complete one or both escape rooms at a later date. Thank you, Exitus. NB: none of us are pro puzzlers. Though felt there was enough to challenge a serious puzzler.

Excellent place to bring a small group. The details in the rooms were fantastic. We didn’t make it out but it was still really fun. The hosts were extremely friendly. The puzzles were very challenging but definitely solvable. We completed the cabin room and it was a really good time.

I did the VR with some family and it was amazing. Being a VR veteran of sorts, it was easy for me to be comfortable in the environment. My family who aren't so experienced had an equally good time because it was so intuitive and easy to learn. Teamwork and communication is key. Since you actually move around the physical room you don't get motion sick and the puzzles were fun and looked good graphically. The staff is really friendly and welcoming as well. Its a perfect spot for a family activity, something to do with friends or even a date.

Staff/owners are friendly and invested in the experience. High production value. You are given an hour (unlike some places that limit you to 45 minutes). Thank you!

My partner and I visited this room while visiting Guelph. It was only our second room since the pandemic. We did the Harry potter themed room. It was very enjoyable. We did not complete the escape room but I felt the room was very well done and the staff member was very passionate and helpful. The location was pretty out of the way but it was worth it. Highly recommended.

We did the spooky version of the log cabin with two people, and did not escape! The theming was great, and there was lots of variety in the puzzles, including what may have been some custom-made pieces (?) and definitely some twists I haven't seen before. Overall lots of fun; we will be back!

I honestly enjoyed theme and puzzles in the room, however it was not set up properly causing my team mate and I to waste time as we had no way of solving the next puzzle due to this. By the time the host realized what happened we had wasted 5 min, they then took another couple of minutes to come in and assist and the timer never stopped. We were never offered extra time either or an apology for what happened.

The rooms are challenging and well constructed. Their rooms are always so well decorated and built amazingly. I go with my brothers, husband and dad. We always have a great time and have only managed to escape once out of the handful of times we've been. When we discuss going to an escape room ExitUs is always the first (and only) place we think to book. Staff are friendly, helpful and clearly love working there!

Tried the Dragon Tower VR Quest with my two sons (18, 20) and a friend and we had a fantastic experience! The game is top notch, equipment worked very well and we were able to figure it out (with a hint). Phew! The game was perfectly timed with each segment just hard enough to keep me motivated without throwing me over into frustrated. It was my first VR experience and was a little worried about getting dizzy or being terrible with the technology but I shouldn't have been because it was seamless. The staff explained everything well ahead of time and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The facilities are bright, colourful and clean. I would recommend this for any group, of any age and no experience needed. Personally, it was wonderful to let my kids take the drivers seat and follow their lead since they understand the strategy of games. They enjoyed it so much, the two of them did another game together after! Definitely recommend!

This was our first escape room and we had a really good time and an overall positive experience. I can't compare it to anything, but I can say my daughter gave it a two thumbs up. She had a blast in the Wizard Room. We'll have to do another room sometime soon.

Pretty decent. We did the "framed" room. Quite complex so if you like some not really linear puzzles then this is for you. Not as high production value as some of the chain places but still good sets. The guy running it while we were there kept calling us to give unsolicited hints which i could have done without. If we want a hint, we'll ask for it, thanks. Some of the tech wasn't working right and there were red "don't screw with this" stickers on things that were fragile or not to be tampered with... but they were also on things that you actually had to do something with which was misleading. A few things they need to work on but overall it seems like a good room.

The escape room was great except one of the puzzle clues was moved by a previous party before we got there and not corrected before we entered the room so we wasted a lot of extra time on that puzzle before we called in for a hint and then the room manager realized what was happening and told us what the puzzle was supposed to be.

Didn't explain any of the "lore" to us. It looks very poorly made. Very budget looking for $80 for 3 people. College kids could recreate this with a short trip to Dollarama and and a couple of master locks. Won't be coming back, honestly just wanted to ask for our money back. Wasn't evrn worth $20 for 3 of us when it looked that cheap.

Solid escape room experience. My partner and I have done two rooms here now and will certainly come back to complete the last. The two rooms we've completed offered good variety in their puzzle mechanics and style (linear vs more open), the challenge was respectable, and the staff have always been friendly.

Have gone twice now and done the Wizard's room and the Coma room, had an absolute blast both times and fully intend to come back for all the other rooms. Place is clean, room themes are fun and well organized, and game attendant's are good at giving hints without giving away the puzzle. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun evening.

Oh how we miss doing escape rooms... Well, we had the opportunity to complete "Alice" virtually! I can honestly say this was fun and exciting! We have a little experience in doing escape rooms so we were curious how this would work in a virtual sense. I admit, we were a little nervous doing this online virtually. It was different at first but once we were able to get our stride the experience was fantastic! We completed the room in the sheer comfort and safety of our home. The process was not bad either and we quickly adapted to understanding how the clues worked and actual game play. Staff at Exitus were excellent, as usual. Is it is different from being in the actual room? Yes. Is it still exciting and fun? YES! The first couple minutes were a little different than being in the room. Thankfully, the patient staff at Exitus walked us through each step and were there to offer assistance in getting the room started as we're not the most computer literate... Once underway, this was a fun and exciting time for all of us! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Will we return to complete another Virtual room? Absolutely! The key components are all there and strategy of completing the room is there - a little different than in person - but still challenging, fun and definitely worth it! I would certainly recommend giving this a whirl!! Have fun!!!

Excellent experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are interesting and well thought out. With different levels of difficulty, we were able to play rooms with our children (7 and 13), and another room with a scary twist with adults. Fun, exciting, and smart. Definitely recommend!

A group of us tried this place for something different, and it was an awesome experience. The escape room was challenging and really well designed with lots of different clues and locks/combinations to consider - really kept us on our toes and using our brains collectively. The guy that runs the place was really friendly, helpful, and accommodating for a larger group. Had a great time and will definitely return to try a different room!

posted by Jeff Burke---First time in an escape room--- took our brilliant teenagers---solved Lucy with about 30 seconds to spare--- our hostess was excellent and her reco for first timers, family of four was spot on---the puzzles were intuitive enough that we didnt feel utterly stupid or helpless. Thankfully, the theme was generic enough that foreknowledge was NOT a requisite--- and thankfully, completely free of any dorky Star Wars/Trek themes. Will do again--- I kinda choke on $100 plus for an hour's entertainment---maybe a steep off-hours discount could draw us back.

We had a blast! The people were knowledgeable about what would be the best room for our Child's Birthday Party and it worked out great. The kids had a lot of fun and they escaped before time ran out. I would do this again as part of a group or with just a couple people - there are plenty of rooms to choose from.

Honestly the best escape rooms we've been in .The details, condition, and design of the rooms is so personalized and fantastic we were amazed . They made these rooms themselves and put a lot of effort into them . Lots of thought put into the puzzles they designed. Everything is logical, but still very challenging. They didn't add a bunch of idiotic stuff just to try and waste your time in an effort to make it harder by frustration, instead they designed amazing puzzles. The puzzles also ALL worked flawlessly unlike every other escape room I've been in where stuff is broken and costs you time. This place doesn't look like much when you enter the lobby, but the rooms are great. I highly recommend!!!
