I was there a Sunday and the beach is open all day long, the ambiance is great. Police and life guards are there for the safety of the visitors. The water is as expected, not bad, and there's a nice sand. You can definitely enjoy the day there, I will come back.

A great place for walks but no dogs off leash allowed. The beach is nice in the summer and great for kids though not the best swimming for adults. The water is very shallow. Beautiful location for a picnic though!

Lovely park and amenities. Great place for a half day adventure or in the summer heat pick up the BBQ and find a shady spot to setup. I appreciated the double playground for different age children. The parking was copious and the recently renovated restaurant is available for food surface. Washroom and change rooms available. Sandy beach was clean.

A large public boat launch with ample parking for your trailer, large marina, a nearby pavilion for food and refreshments, a sandy beach (though it feels muddy when you are in the water), with beautiful views across the river. In the winter, the beach is the starting point for ski and board kiting. Great place overall.

My family just discovered this park this past summer and it's one of our favorite places to go now. There's a walking path, boat launch and docks, picnic area, beach, volleyball nets in the main area. But, a small drive or walk away is a kids park and playground. This park has it all for family fun and if highly recommend it!

There is plenty of people right now but the officers working there are doing a good job to keep us safe the beache is open and the life guards are back at work If you fell bored at home and live near form there and have kids is it one of the safest places you can go during this pandemic to clear your mind and have fun 4/5 it's a really nice place I'm definitely going back with the family really fun with the kids.

The public facilities needed maintenance (run down) alot of cleaning (very dirty, urine smells) and supplies (no soap to wash hands during a pandemic) . They are mixed change rooms (men and women share same) and washrooms which I found odd.

If you want a cheap date idea, this is it. You can take a nice walk along the water or on the beach. There is also room, if you bring your food, to have a picnic. This place is especially beautiful if you are there during sunset or early in the morning. It can be suprisingly entertaining to sit on the docks, with your feet in the water, gazing at the horizon and watching the boats go by, all while losing yourself in your thoughts.

Pool itself is good. My issue is more with the covid policies. To be clear, I agree with covid measures, but I do feel information could be better communicated for new patrons of the pool before arriving (maybe included in the confirmation email. For example, you have to wear a mask while in the change room and while around but not in the pool. This is fine however, you should really bring disposable masks as you have to wear your mask while changing, to get into the shower, and to get to the pool area. Very good chance that your mask will get wet and, once it's wet it's useless.

This beach is okay, but the kite surfers definitely need to do more to respect swimmers and stay far away from the swimming area. A kite belonging to an experienced surfer slammed down directly in the middle of the swimming area with a ton of force when my 6 year old was out swimming. Luckily it and the cables missed him or it would have been life changing for my little boy and potentially others who were using the beach. IMO there needs to be more formality and enforcement of bylaws to augment the self-imposed kite surfing "guidelines" for this beach. In lieu of this, all I can say is be careful if there are kite surfers out when you or your kids are swimming at this beach, or just find somewhere else to go and avoid the risk.

Parc des Cedres is a great and pretty big park. The view is fantastic, no obstruction to see the sun completely disappear. The river looks great and there are very large areas of grass to sit on. There's also parks for kids and the bike path cuts right in the middle of it. Easily accessible with lots of places to park alongside the park. Thats also a place where one of the biggest St Jean celebration happens in the region, if not THE biggest. I also personally love to see the boats and the little lighthouse

Great spot for a picnic with some friends. What I did I have in my basket you ask!?! I never thought someone would ask this. I'm so excited. -Miss Vickets Dill Pickle chips. -Brie pepper cheese. I just love the slight extra kick the pepper adds. -A baguette from Pain D'alain. You want fresh bread in case you forget to bring a knife. Fresh bread is easier to tear apart. Wonder bread would be weird. Just saying. That's it. That's what I Bring! And something to drink ;)

There's no play structure for kids, but there are several picnic tables and, if you go a little further down, a nice, small, lookout with a view of the bridge. If you play pojemon, there are several pokestops... which is a bouns for me...
