The casino seemed nice. I've heard the food is really good. Went for dinner, but was told that it was over an hour wait. Understandable if the food is good. But here's where the service proved to be poor. The guy behind the podium had an attitude and dropped an F Bomb when I expressed my surprise at the wait. Went to Red Lobster rather than waiting to be seated by him.

Fun place to lose some money. Restaurant is average food but tasty. Be prepared to wait hours to eat, as they have amazing specials that are extremely popular, but you can game while you wait. Staff are exceptional. Very clean and well organized

Shorelines in Gananoque is quite a small casino but it offers the full assortment of slots and tables. One restaurant is available with daily specials and a really excellent afford weekend brunch. Highly recommend a quick stop in.

They really respected the Covid regulations. It was clean and social distancing is done with ease. Personal opinion the casino just doesn’t feel the same without all the noises of bells and machine sounds. The atmosphere just isn’t the same with so little people and machines on. I hope things get back to normal soon.

It's an okay casino. Very small, with not many table games. I do appreciate that there is no smoking anywhere inside, but the games are mediocre. It's just a very small casino. There are free fountain drinks and daily meal specials, but nothing that would make me want to come back here.

Discovered Shorelines just over a year ago. I don't go to any other casinos now because at Shorelines, I either win or don't lose much. I get discounts on meals, in winter, discounts on my hotel and the staff of the casino is warm, friendly and polite. Never a dull moment and always an enjoyable experience.

It's an okay casino. But I have found that the good pay out's are few and far between. Much less then when it was a charity casino. It's a good fun atmosphere. And the restaurant has excellent food with awesome daily specials. Especially if your an AXIS card member. Just don't go expecting a big pay out. Unless you're really lucky.

Went to eat the all you can eat prime rib and lobster tails not only is the lobster limited to 5 tails each but every single tail we got were not cleaned well and still had poop veins in them had to clean them ourselves

Personnel were friendly and helpful. A machine that my wife was using had difficulties and these were attended to quickly and efficiently. The decor is interesting and the facility looks to be well maintained. The service in the restaurant was very good with a friendly and efficient waitress. The scope of the menu was good and my wife enjoyed her selection of french onion soup and breaded shrimp. On the other hand, my garden salad was not at all satisfactory. For over $12, I do expect that the ingredients to be fresh and not wilted as those in the salad that was served to me were.

Re-diculous! I can't believe they kicked us out for being "too cool". What the actually flipping heck. I just wanted to bring my cat to play a couple of slots, but no, they get all upset. I mean, I'd get it if it was a puma or a mountain lion or a husky. But it wasn't! It was just Sargent fuzzy nuggs! So I'm left with just one, hyphenated, word. Re-diculous.

It was one of the worst meals I had asked for the prime rib rare it came well done sat at the table good 20 minutes before anybody come over decide us right at the front because I'm in a wheelchair where everybody walk by kicked my wheelchair when I asked for dessert apparently there was no dessert will not be going back to that casino again

Excellent location on the highway for a break. Washrooms are near the front door for travellers. The casino did not make us feel you must walk to the far end passing by all the slot machine or gambling tables for a toilet need. If i was not in a rush i will certainly dine there or rest there for a while

Like many others have stated, don't go here if you want to gamble the slots. The machines have been turned way back and you will get very frustrated. We used to go when it was OLG and it was fun because you would win once and a while. Since shorelines took it over, you very rarely win. Even the staff are embarrassed and say so. The weird thing is that people keep going. It is sad because this business is reaping huge profits off mainly retired and some disabled people, many of whom cannot afford to lose all their money. I don't go anymore and won't go back. It's just as bad in Belleville. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

Waited about 45 minutes for three simple meals. We ordered 3 wraps. people came in after us and were served before us (steaks, burgers etc). I'm not sure if the food ever arrived because we walked out. At around 30 mins the server apologized and we told her we knew it wasn't her fault.

I gave this place a try after a 2 year hiatus due to all the covid closings and nothing much has changed other than a bit of the layout. You will need your proof of full vaccination and fill out a short form then take a picture and your on your way . They now have pop machines instead of the usual free drinks $ 2 . The restaurant seems to be open but I didn’t go so I can’t say for sure . The slot machines are the old faithful nothing new and exciting and they have card tables available.

One of the worst Casinos I have ever seen, They have very bad rules in tables and use CSM in Blackjack tables which is very bad for players and you have to wait for a long time to cash out. Do Not waste your time and money there.

We normally have a good experience at the windward restaurant. Tonight was horrible. We arrived at 515 and took 10 minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of tables available. Once started, we waited over 10 minutes for drinks and 15 to order. We ordered the special (pasta with Caesar salad) took 30 minutes to get to the table while we were ignored by the waitress the whole time. Other tables of 2-6 people were seated after us, served and left before we got your food. My boyfriend had to go up to the bar to get his own drink and I had to flag her down for Parm cheese and water. We seemed like an inconvenienxe to her. Extremely disappointed in the service

The dinner specials are terrific. Prime Rib and lobster tails on Friday for cad14.99! All you can eat. We each got two more tails. The slot machines seemed to be set a little tight but everyone seemed to be having a great time. Free boondock RV parking is a nice added feature. Would definitely return.

They have excellent prices for dining and good quality however the casino itself is small for the crowds it gets. On prize days so many people go to pick up prizes the lineup goes throughout the casino making it difficult to walk around and even blocking routes to exit and washrooms. Often prizes run out by the time you get to the front of the line. They almost need a separate area for prizes....more prizes...and a larger time frame throughout the day for pickup to prevent this issue.

Their prices for their special dinners have increased and the quality of their expensive foods have drastically decreased at the same time. The lobster is not fresh anymore. The steak and prime rib are dry and hard when they used to be tender and juicy. The baked potatoes are watery on the outside edges. The fried fish coatings are hard and the fish is dry. Their fries are awful. Also, you have to pay a lot for some of their substitutes like salads. I have noticed a big difference on how many people coming to the casino and their restaurant. Before you would need to wait to be seated for over an hour but now there isn't much people in the restaurant anymore on Fridays and Saturdays. Their limits have increased for Blackjack from $10 to $15 on some Fridays and always on Saturdays. Their Roulette limits have increased from too but are inconsistent. I think these changes are really going to hurt that casino. I think they have cheaper suppliers of their food and getting greedy with their limits. It used to be such a great casino with great food and consistent limits. Now, you don't know what the limits are going to be on Fridays and they don't have anything to do with how many people are coming there. They can just have a few people there but they still have higher than usual limits on Fridays and Saturdays.

It's a casino, it's always fun, even if you lose. Parking is ample, huge variety of table games, and of course a ton of slot machines. I've never had a bad meal in the restaurant either, the wait times for buffet nights are absolutely 100% worth it.

We went to the Casino specifically for the All You Can Eat Rib Steak and Lobster Tails special available every Friday and Saturday nights. We are not gamblers by any means so we only drove there for the food. We arrived early to get a pager so they could call us when a table was available. We got there around 4PM and were seated by 5:15PM. Supper starts at 5PM. We had the special and the cost is 15$ plus tax and tip. It was one of the best meal we had. The lobster and the steak were tender and cooked to perfection. The potato was great as well. The veggies are canned and soggy but no one really cares. When you are done with your plate you can have three more lobster tails and unlimited rib steak! The staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance at the restaurant is great. Not a big fan of casinos and gamblers gambling until they drop but the food was really worth it! They have specials every day of the week so we will come back for sure!

There are a good amount of table games, which are my preference, and up to date slots, which my husband prefers. First time to Casino, staff wonderful! Casino has a retro look to it, very clean, LOVE the smoke free policy!! Was not use to a non 24 hour operation so was disappointed in the fact you couldn't buy an alcoholic drink till 11 am and there wasn't a waitress on floor till noon, we left at 1 pm and never did see a waitress, the casino very small, we would have seen one if there was one there, also table games were closed till 11 a m . There was also a lot of machines out of order, pay out was also on the poor side. Casino opened at 9 am . Coming from NY, the US to Canadian dollars was very easy at the cashier window. The rate was $1. 22 to $1.00. Doubtful we will be returning.

Just for those who are not aware, this is the ONLY casino I have ever been to that has a 1 drink limit per hour. It is small enough that they can track exactly how much you have had to drink and will hold you to one drink per hour.

Poor experience. Went to the casino to go to the restaurant. The hostess was kind and quick, she seated us fast. Our server was opposite. Didn't offer a menu, took forever to get to us. We got the steak (med rare) it came well done and flavourless. The veggies with the meal were so overcooked, they were almost mashed. They fell apart when I tried to pick them up with the fork. When the server took our plates away, she came with the bill and walked away. No option for dessert, no questions, just dropped the bill and left. We didn't even finish our drinks, apparently we were finished according to the server, so we left. Will not go back.

Normally it is the best brunch around but on Fathers day it was a disaster. Low to no food in the bins. No plates to be found. You would think that they would have been prepared for the extra people. Food was delicious as always if you could get some. For my money I had a muffin, yogurt and a taste of potato salad.

Horrible place to gamble. Machines are tight. Prizes and gifts are of low quality. If you are fortunate enough to win a draw, the cash prizes can be very rewarding. Rewards and point accumulation are extremely low for card players. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Food is satisfactory and prices are excellent for members. Be careful not to press to hard on their Digital Numerical glass Screens, on the Slot Machines. Many of them don't work properly and if you use to much force trying to enter information, they shatter. I had the misfortune of breaking one personally. Be gentle.

NOT all you can eat!! That's right, it's not all you can eat, it's what they tell you what you can have. I really just wanted the lobster but was told that they didn't do it that way. They served you 2 tails, a large portion of prime rib, baked potato, and veggies. To me that was a waste, but I went along with it, figured I make up for it with the lobster later. Server returned and asked if I wanted more and I requested more lobster. She returned with 3 tails on a plate and informed me that was all I was getting. A total of 5 tails, that's it? Seems to me that is not all I can eat. No explanation or reason, just getting 5, that's the limit. Fortunately for me there were 2 ladies that ordered just the prime rib and you guessed it, it came exactly as my meal did they had to have everything as well. They overheard me talking to my wife about this place being fraudulent and a rip-off. Seeing as they didn't want their lobster they offered them to me. Thank-you ladies. If this casino is not going to honor what they advertise, then remove it from your meals menu. This is just fraudulent advertising.

My family and i went to Shorelines Casino in Gananoque on January 8, 2020 to celebrate my birthday. We had a tremendous time. It is so clean, well managed, has excpetional security personnel and friendly staff. Ryan, at the card table, was efficient and friendly. We really enjoyed thst part of the day. The restaurant staff were awesome -- kind and friendly, and the food was amazing... exceptional spinach salad and the wings are the best we've ever had. Great day at a great place.

Even before the pandemic the tables were never on a schedule to open, it was hit and miss, someday not open till 6 pm, some days not at all. You could only count on the part that you could not count on anything there. The employees are unhappy and that's a shame because they are all great people. It's management's fault. Shape up.

They have a small poker room- only thing I care about. 1 table runs mostly thru the week and 2-3 on weekends. I would like to see more attention to the poker room by management to give 5 stars. Very friendly staff - and will be firm when necessary. (Which is needed for some poker players) You got to take into account it's location is around a small city. it's not like you have a player pool size of Montreal and ottawa. So taken that into account- I give it 4 stars.

New JUNK FOOD late menu STARTS at 10:00 pm every night. If I wanted a hotdog then I would go to a sports' event. lol. Several customers are complaining about this casino since they are getting really cheap. Their gifts are of very poor quality. It is almost empty most nights then they make it worst by employing a junk food menu so early and their black tables minimums are $15 from $10 on most nights. The new management are making a good casino BAD!!! They have suggestion sheets which they don't take into account. Even the staff are disguised with how they get treated and wonder why they are making such bad decisions which may cost them their jobs.

I did not like what they did with the machines.. now you have to play a high amount on all machines like for example the Pennie machines you could play nine line like 9 cents every round now you have to play like 25 cents every round. no sense having penny machines at this rate same as the 2 cent machines its fixed you have to play 50 each round. for this reason I would not go back again. now lets talk about the security at the front when you first go in. they were excellent helpful and very friendly to use. All you can eat prime rib yes but 5 lobster tails. I can eat more than 5. Now they moved the price up for the exact same food, but has stated this time only 5 lobster tails. We dont go as often

Just came back from casino in ganaoque. Went up for grab bag gifts. What a joke! Supposed to be from 4-8 but today they decided to start early at 1. Nothing left of what was supposed to be there. Very disappointed! Ever since shoreline took over our experiences there have been poor. No pay outs on the slots. Some of the staff have very poor customer service. Used to be our favorite place to go now it's time to look for a new entertainment place.

The food is always good but the card tables are brutal, even the ones with the lowest house edge like Blackjack are a struggle to hold onto your money. Our one Blackjack dealer pulled six 21s in a row! To me that's more than just bad luck. I liked the casino better when it was under OLG, a nicer atmosphere and we would actually win once in a while.

4 of us went to the brunch special 21 July 2019 at approximately 1pm. There was no food in the steam trays and it did not appear anyone was really working on resolving it. What little bit was there appeared to have been sitting there for a while and cold. The place was not busy, only about half the seats were occupied. There was also another foursome there that left do to the lack of food. My mother and father were at the prime rib counter together, my Dad had a piece of prime rib cut for him and then the attendant left without cutting a piece for my mother. The attendant was away for about 15 minutes when another individual cut one persons meat then left a line behind him. We never saw half the items that are listed on the menu. When they finally did bring food out they just dumped it on top of the old cold scraps that remained in the trays. We quite often go to the Belleville Casino for meals and have never experienced anything close to this. We will never return to the 1000 Island Shoreline Casino, worst experience ever.

If you are an 85 year old retiree drinking coffee and Diet Pepsi this is your place!! However, if you are a young adult and enjoy more than 1 drink per hour go elsewhere. This casino will monitor all of your drinks and cut you off if you have more than one drink per hour. I was under the impression that casinos are a place to get drunk with your friends but this is not the case here.

We went as a group of 8 for dinner, and they found us two tables right next to each other, which was great! We all had the lobster and prime rib special. It was all good, the waitress was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the lobster was over cooked. We were there near the end of the special hours, so maybe the lobster had been under heat lamps to keep warm..? I’m sure if we were there earlier it would’ve been good!

We were disappointed with our visit. We were there around dinner time on a Thursday evening. There were few machines open and even fewer that seemed to pay us anything. The T-bone dinner was good, but cost $14.99 now compared to $9.99 on our previous visit. It also included a draft beer or house wine at that time. We are not regular visitors as we are not located in the area, but we will not be as eager to return.

Went here at the end of Sepember. EXCELLENT meal.The prime rib was the best. WENT back on Friday night THE 31st of May and we were 3. ALL our meals were horrible. EVERYTHING ON THE PLATE WAS COLD. THE Prime Rib was paper thin. You could not cut it. There was no gravy. THEY sat us at the lower entrance to the restaurant. AN elderly drunk lady fell in her walker right by our table and started vomiting. WE had to ask to move tables. It was so gross. They brought us more ice cold Prine Rib We were seated at 5:30 so the food should have been hot. IT was the worst. WE drove 7 hours on Wednesday to go to Kingston and we were so looking forward to this meal. IT WAS HORRIBLE.

Understaffed and payouts are very low. When you visit so many people complaining. The free gifts are less expensive than they post and you can not pick up your gift untill specified times, so unless you spend lots at the casino you have to wait till evening. I was excited to try the restaurant here as they seemed to have great promotions. I asked to try a pizza and wing promotion that was advertised with no disqualifying fine print. I was told by one worker that it wasn't available because the Leafs had to be playing the Senators. The next staff member told me that it was only valid while the Leafs were playing (which they were). We were seated at a table that was sticky, extremely dirty, and appeared as though it hadn't been washed for multiple seatings. The food was good for the price, but the service was mediocre at best.

Stopped off at this Casino on the way back from Montreal, it was a nice way to break up that trip. The casino was clean and nicely organized and it felt quaint, I actually quite enjoyed being there. Played a bit of Blackjack and lost, but they also have roulette, baccarat and a few other games. The major drawback for me was that they had no Craps or Sic-bo tables and the bar had no TV's for some reason :\ overall not bad, I would stop here again.

I also didn't appreciate the use of 8-deck continuous shufflers on all the Blackjack tables (even High Limit). Conditions for players are better at the racetrack in Ottawa. I would recommend slightly brighter spotlights on the table layouts for those of us with declining night-vision.

Since shoreline took over, it went from (under previous ownership) being able to win a few dollars to a few hundred while playing on a budget to now unlikely of breaking even but most often losing money. I get that this is a losing game but when the only customers getting ahead are the ones that might better take up residence there, it makes the other less frequent visitors like myself and a few others I know not want to make the effort to go when the same names are called and other such nonsense. Smarten up, you take away bus service and incentives and expect the same loyal customer base. That's funny!!

Pros Great and Cheap. It's a small location but they pack it in with as much as they can. No craps, but plenty of BJ, two roulette and now a "roulette" machine and 2 Baccarat tables. $5 and $10 roulette, you won't find another $5 table any closer than Ottawa. Most of the staff is friendly, to both regulars and to randoms. Security while OLG were jerks but with Shorelines they seem to be more professional and polite. Cons: LOOONG wait times at the Winner's Circle VERY often. At roulette table, even when VERY busy with no more chips left they will not open the other table until the weekend evenings. Can get VERY crowded and long between spins. Otherwise dealers are fast, most talkative and friendly and wish you luck and DESERVE TIPS. Only a few dealers who demonstrably don't like being there or who are emotionless.

Great place to go for a night of fun and great reasonable priced food .Great discounts with a points card .Free gifts but always a long wait and line up.plenty of slot machines and about 15 tables or cards all located on 1 level .smoking area ,plenty of parking .Friendly staff and security .free soft drinks tea or coffee. Very large restaurant quick service and friendly. Different special on menu everyday , Fridays and Saturdays is all you can eat lobster tails and prime rib served with salad and bun for a cheap price. I noticed with the new management that took over their isn't as many jackpot winners. Cashier counter or bank machines also a lottery ticket counter Great place to stop just to rest from a long trip on the 401 highway .Just seconds off the 401 turn off ramp going into Gananoque or traveling from the 1000 island parkway

The casino is OK but the glasses / plastic cups used for drinking coffee and soft drinks are rinsed just on the inside of the cups and are very dirty around the rim washed only with water and no dish soap .This I witnessed when I visited the casino today. This is unsanitary I recommend to use the paper cups for health issues. This experience makes me very sick just to think about it. The staff was very friendly they explained how to play some of the slots. I hope you find the solution for this issue and prevent outbreak of any diseases. Thank you Peter.

Enjoyed the Vegas turkey buffet in part a great deal for $6.99, however, chicken wings were very dry and overcooked, and cake was stale (the only dessert option available). Smoking section had only (one out of three) heaters working during -30c extreme cold temperatures (unbelievable). Door lock for ladies washroom near pocker area didn't lock exposing me sitting on throne in full view to folks mingling in area. On another occasion, I walked in on a lady lifting her panties ups also in full view.

If there was a minus rating for the facility it would be getting a -5 stars I was here waiting for a friend when a security guard comes to my window and says “ I don’t think you should be doing that here “ I said what waiting for my friend tapping my vape pen on my wallet” Next thing I know there a opp officer asking me to exit the vehicle Iam then placed on public display as Iam searched and accused of possessing a narcotic well needless to say after searching me and the vehicle nothing was found The shorelines manager was present and even after the conducted searches revealed nothing I was still not offered an apology from the manager for his employees false aqusations the guard for being a incompetent moron Or the nice officer who the guard wasted the time of my opinion go to Belleville maybe you won’t have your rights violated and dignity called into question

While it was small the casino has a nice layout making it easy to navigate and find things like restrooms and Winner's Circle. It was nice that they had a beverage station to get water, coffee, tea, or fountain drinks without having to wait for server to come to your machine. I didn't interact with the staff so I can't review that aspect nor did I eat the food. The reason I rated it 3 stars is because we drive from kingston at 10 pm to find literally half (if not more) of the slot machines were out of service. They seemed to be doing some sort of audit on the machines but entire sections were roped off making a small casino smaller. That factor determined my choice of stars and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

We were invited due a birthday celebration. My friend rented the hall. Nice and spacious, clean. . She had a caterer. Very good idea just for little bites. She brought the wine, drinks, etc. If it's not too expensive I'd recommend it. I was able to see the cats. Each in their own room. Wasn't able to view the dogs. They were settled down for their nights sleep and didn't want them disturbed.

Out of curiosity, decided to visit the casino. There were lots of empty seats to reserve at the last minute so easy to get it. They do ask questions and take you contact info and have distancing and cleaning procedures, lots of hand sanitizer but don’t take your temperature like other venues. As for the venue, the positives end there. The few machines operating were very old and not interesting. The lights seem more dim than usual, there was no lively music or TV screens on. Big ugly vending machines greeted you and the pop was not free. There was no “welcome back” incentive of even $5. No winning machines for sure. We didn’t even stay an hour and will not be returning for sure.

This place used to be so welcoming and friendly, like others have said, its definitely gone downhill for the worst. You use to win once in a while when it was OLG and now that its Shoreline i have yet to win once in 6 visits, a month between visits. I find it no longer fun to go when you dont even have the slightest chance of winning anything. I have made my last visit to this place for sure now. Such good memories of when it first opened then called Thousand Islands Charity Casino back then it was fun.

We've been a small handful of times hoping that it might be better or maybe we came at a bad night. The casino is small and dated. During covid there are some efforts to clean the machines but it could be better. We've had the food in the past from the restaurant and it's always just been food.. edible, but nothing special. The vegetables appear to be frozen that you could just heat up at home. Servers have always been very polite and nice (you can tell they're doing their best), but it's definitely taken us time to get drinks at the bar and service at the restaurant is also slow as they seem to be understaffed. This place is okay for a night out when you just need something to do.
