Great place to bring kids 7 and under. Splash is awesome and there are change room next to it. Further down the park there are a lot of different playgrounds. Parking is a bit tricky but usually easy to find once you know where it is. Check using satelitte view before going!

This is a great that'll Park to visit with children. It has a water area with lots of fun things for children to do. The park is very well maintained and a pleasant place to spend some time. It is almost directly across from the old Governor's house on Woodstock Road.

The Splash Pad during the summer is a lot of fun. Teens might get bored, but little ones seem to really enjoy it. The park area is pretty large and often quite busy. It's a nice atmosphere for kids to play.

Wilmot is one of my favorite places in Fredericton all through the year. A great place to get sunlight because it's open and a great place to walk because during covid you can keep a distance from people easier. You will likely see grey squirrels and their adorable tracks everywhere and seasonal birds. Once when I was there in the dark I could hear an owl hooting in a tree. Another time at night a skunk was nearby so we curtailed it in the other direction so watch out for skunks if there at night lol Recently I was there during the day and an eagle with a magnificent wing span passed overhead. In the summer it's a great place to hang out on the swings and people watch, lounge on the grass or under a tree with a picnic, book or knitting. And of course there is lots of room to practice hoop, poi or catch. Wilmot is one of the reasons I moved back to Fredericton because there wasn't anything like it for parks anywhere else I had been!

Wilmot park has a splash pad that has a good variety of water activities. It is a fun place for children up to about 8 years of age. The park has 2 bathrooms.. 1 by the splash pad and 1 beside the playground. Loved it!

Very nice park near the saint John river and downtown Fredericton. The splash pad is excellent for kids and the gazebos are nice. The playground is great for younger kids, maybe up to 10-12 yo. Parking isn't usually a problem, it's available along the perimeter of the park and in a small lot.

It has the potential to be a great green space within the city featuring; tennis courts, basketball courts, lawn bowling, play grounds, a splash pad and lots of open space to run and play. The city needs to focus it's efforts on a few spaces within the city and do them well rather than do a lot half way. Grass gets long. Lacks picnic tables, parking and bathrooms. Has the potential to be a summer time hub!
