(Translated) The Old Government House is at 51 Woodstock Street. This magnificent stone palace building was built for the British Governor in 1826. Later, it was also the headquarters of the Royal Mounted Police. Time flies, but the architectural style of the Governor’s House is not In the past, there is always a feeling of being separated from the world.

(Translated) This governor's palace was built from 1826 to 1828. It was the official residence of the governor and deputy governor of New Brunswick at that time. The Governor’s Mansion has many uses. From 1896 to 1900, it was a school for hearing impaired children; during World War II, it was a military camp and a hospital for soldiers returning home after the war. From 1934 to 1988, it served as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Command. Beautiful building with very nice architecture. I have never been inside the building but looks very nice from the outside. The building is situated on a large fenced ground next to the trail. Makes a nice view on an evening walk.
