The Garden Creek Falls is a really nice place to go during the fall (I'm sure it looks gorgeous all year around though). It's not much of a hike since the falls are right beside the highway, but I went down and followed the creek for a little bit and I had fun. The only negative thing about the site is it's location. Unless you have a car it's very hard to get there. I rode my bike from Fredericton and let me tell you it's not easy and it's pretty dangerous.

You get to pull to the side of a busy highway, park on the side of said highway and hike through mud to get there. What's not to love? Plus they have these super convenient emergency vehicles only spots to turn around in.

Not bad, Fredericton. While I imagine the perfect time to go would be on a sunny morning after an evening rainfall, this place was quite relaxing (bring bug spray). The Google Maps directions are wrong though. You just need to drive along route NB-8 until you're right next to the location marker. You can check out my photos too in order to know you're at the right place. A great place to just listen and be in nature and a great place to meditate if you enjoy that. I was able to bike there in about 40min from downtown. I also suggest taking some time to explore the surrounding area as well as the whole location can be quite beautiful.

Beautiful little waterfall. To get there you must be on route 8, coming from Fredricton. At the 1 KM marker there is a pull over for you to park and the trail to the waterfall is right by the marker. Only a short walk into the woods, 2-3 minutes. Beautiful sight though.

Surprisingly nice little falls extremely close to Fredericton. I'd lived in the city for many years before I decided to check it out. Bit more trash around than your average NB waterfall given the proximity to the city and highway, but it is well worth the quick trip! My four and five year old had a fun time climbing up the rocks along the far side of the falls. NB has lots of special little places like this - they're mostly just hidden in the woods.

What a beautiful place. Google Map doesn't give you the right directions. But it is right off the highway right by kilometer one marker. Short walk in 3 minutes.

Just off the side of the highway you'll find this beautiful little falls. Paths lead easily in to the falls. Geocaches are around so for those explorers, check this place out.

We went in July and there was very little water flowing. Some other visitors mentioned that it is best in the Spring. The path off of the TCH is pretty flat and relatively easy to walk. Just be careful on the slippery rocks.

This falls is a favorite for me. Easy to get to and accessible for young ones.Good flow of water and a tiered drop. There is also stepping stones to get to the other side. Well worth the visit and a good place to decompose.
