This is a great viewpoint to see the construction taking place for the Site-C Hydro Electric Dam in Fort St. John BC. Two telescopes on the platform allow visitors to view the site up close from across the peace river. Several Info kiosks show the construction, site information, equipment and the history of the indigenous peoples and the area.

Good location and facilities are kept clean, however the extremely tall grass along the fence line restricts the majority of the view Could use a small elevated view point to oversee the peace river valley.

Not easy to get a good view of this project. A lot of it seems to be deliberately obscured behind fenced off hills, and of course they have banned drones so it's difficult to see the full scope and impact of this dam. I think that might be all part of the plan though...

Was good to see the view finders for the site did not work that good one was broken used our banocoulers to see but very very interesting information on the boards were very good

You would have a view for site C project - dam, which is still ongoing for a few years. There is parking lot with some informations and view from far away. Bring binocular to see properly the dam. There are no washrooms on the lot.
