Toddler pool is permanently closed, spray jets and other toys in the wave pool either don't work or aren't turned on, waves are never used in wave pool, deep pool always closed for lessons/laps, slides usually closed. Change rooms/floors not clean or well maintained. I know its an old facility overdue for replacement but feels like the city has just abandoned the place at this point. Great job with the brand new signage on the outside of the building though, I'll bet it fools lots of people driving past into thinking it's a nice facility on the inside.

Except for the change rooms that could use an upgrade the swimming is nice to have and use.

This pool was built in 1996; it was great then but with the population it's simply too small. If you want to make an outing by going to the pool, it's worth your effort to go to Dawson Creek. The lap pool is often used by the swim club or lessons so for public swim you are limited to the smaller pool which is overly crowded, as is the hot tub and sauna. The second slide was a good addition but not always is there an attendant. The tot pool I'm not sure if it's permanently out of use or what but I haven't seen it operational in years. The change rooms are small and the ladies change room only has 2 changing stalls. There isn't a swim suit dryer either. Overall it's an inadequate facility for the population but the price is right and I've never had an issue with the staff.

Designed with covid in mind great swimming ????‍♂️ ???? ????

last time I was there the floors were dirty ended up with warts. Wish they cleaned properly. for the amount of people that swim there is just too small. lap pool is closed most of the time and the wave pool is packed with babies that end up making everyone have to leave from them soiling the water. slides are closed each time I've been there. hot tube has a limit to people but also has tones foam (foam is bad means its not been cleaned) sauna is full and steam room is full as well. you cant jump into the deep end when the diving boards are closed. Paint was pealing of the walls and pool floor. you cant get lessons plenty of students but no to tech. gym is small not worth going for the gym. staff can be nice but some are way to picky on the kids. fights happen and aren't stopped but jumping in the pool gets stopped seems about right?. over all the Dawson pool is worth the drive then spending your time and money here.

Pretty good pool and facility, prices are fair, staff are usually polite and helpful, but the hygiene of the decks and the change rooms are usually not good. Side note: The fitness room is a glorified closet which hopefully will be moved to the meeting room and offer more equipment options and open floor space for dynamic exercises soon.

Terry Cameron

Public swim can coincide with lap swim so you don't get to swim in the big pool which is not cool. We need a bigger facility for all of the swimming lessons that go on.

Travis Trav

Great place to go to get out of the heat

Because they are so nice there and I like the lap pool and the wave pool

Absolutely filthy place. Forced my family of 4 to change in tents on the pool deck. None of the water features are turned on any time I've been there. Its nice they are trying to stay open during covid, but the protocols put in place are absolutely embarrassing and the whole place is a sess pool of filth and should be shut down until its cleaned properly. I feel bad for the staff who work here, its an embarrassment for everyone.

mishayla grafton

I think it needs more upgrades

Very limited hours!

Not enough family change rooms should not have to wait 20+ minutes waiting for a changeroom when you have small children with you. As a single dad i do not like to have my children changed in the mens change room where there are a bunch of schlongs hangingout. Another note on change rooms is that they are always disgustingly dirty. pool is too small there should be a smaller limit on how many people can be in it at once. Public swim should be longer on sundays. Lastly durring public swim all pools should be open so that it is less crowded. There should not be lap swim durring public swim hours or at least keep it to a couple lanes so that other people can use the pool too.

Well for a baby and 3 and 4 ur olds thw wave pool can be a little strong so eas not impressed last time was there as had to leave earlier. It was on 99.9 percent thw time for being a shallow and toddler pool area

Keisha Elliott

Horrible place DIRTY, pool is always cold, swimming lessons during public swimming hours, never swimming lessons available unless booked MONTHS in advance!!! just overall a bad experience

Bryan Dougall

Been here 3 times so far staff seem decent messed up my swimming app once all in all it's a decent place to go for a nice little dip

khaled waheed

We are four friends, we went yesterday, the team were so polite and cooperative, and they watch the customer carefully. We found that the pool board were closed because of some swimming lessons, and i asked what time the board will open, they said that after the swimming lessons the board will open, but we surprised after the swimming lessons because they told me that the board will not be open, you can come Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I like the place and the people work there, but I've put just one star because bad credibility, otherwise everything is very good.

Cora Nixey

Great facility....better than the one in my town..Vernon

I'm sorry to say but I REFUSE to take my child swimming at this facility. The roof inside where the pools are is absolutely repulsive to look at, all that moisture is only going to create a disgusting mould mess. Honestly it NEEDS to be demolished and rebuilt.

If their going to have things limited at least have pumps going to entertain the kids and some toys in the pool.

During public swim, all pools should be open. I'm tired of paying to go swimming and finding the lap pool is booked and the diving boards are closed :/ There should be a policy that does not allow babies in the wave pool. If they are too young to understand, "don't soil the pool water", they should be in the kiddy pool only.

After booking ahead and getting there 5 minutes before our booking, waited in line for about 15 minutes while the three families ahead in line got their bookings sorted. After using the makeshift change area on the pool deck, we may have got half an hour to actually swim. Nice to have an option to be active, but staggered entry might aid everyone to enjoy their full 45 minute time slot.
