Fun place to spend time with kids and friends family. Not very very clean but not bad. Gets crowded on specific days but you can manage to get some space to call it a personal picnic spot. I would say it’s the Closest beach to fort McMurray town so can’t complain much! Just pack ur picnic stuff, and go there and enjoy!! we played cricket there too. Can enjoy with cards, frisbee, handball.. sand is always fun for kids. Definitely must spot for people who are water activity experts, people who has boat or water sport gears! Recommend to take your own water, hand wipes or towels, toilet paper, camping gears, mosquito or flies repellent sprays, chairs, camping mats.

Gregoire lake is a good place to go and I think more people should fo to stay at Gregoire lake. But sometimes the water has little green things in the water and other then that it's a great place to go camping to

Gotta enjoy what you have! Its not too crowded on most days (cep for holidays) and the field is pretty clean and neat. Good place to have a picnic, especially with the new gazebos, and to play free sports (volleyball, badminton, soccer, frisbee). Great trails to go biking and walking around with friends or pets and people are generally fun and nice. The water hose to clean off yourself should be fixed as it is not working but other than that, great place to relax and enjoy

Mixed feelings about this place. Been here a few times, most of the time I seen the beach littered, foam and weeds by the shore with a foul odor. Only once have I seen the lake in a pleasurable condition. Boating and water crafts accessible, small boat landing. Has few camp sites.

We stayed at this campground for 4 nights and we loved every bit of the experience! The sites are well maintained, very private and beautiful. The lake is a short (beautiful) walk from the camp sites. Lots of room on the beach, even on the weekends. The camp facilities are all very well maintained, with staff cleaning washroom and shower areas often.

Be aware that the campground is only patrolled by security from 8am to 8pm and even then there is a very poor presence. We stayed 8 nights in the campground and 4 or 5 of those evenings and nights were ruined by inconsiderate campers, i.e. campfire sing-alongs until 3 in the morning, domestic arguments after midnight, loud fireside chatter and laughter until well after what is supposed to be quiet time at 11pm. There were bears in the area but a lot of campers fully disregarded the campsite cleanup rule whereby leaving out bbq’s and food and just simply messy campsites. Definite A sense of entitlement by some campers. Never again will we visit nor would we recommend the stay. On a positive note, the beach was family friendly.

Since reopening, the campsites have been beautifully maintained. The day use area, beach and boat launch are beautiful and easy to access. The new gate house with store is wonderful, offering emergency amenities, snacks and icecream. The staff are helpful and friendly. I took 1 star off, due to the shower house. It has not been updated and is in dire need of some TLC. Showers are coin operated, and the coin boxes are very old and rusty. Would be nice to see some reno's in the future there.
