A great place to see and explore with the family & little ones! Everything is neat and the staff are really friendly, great place to take the kids as it has a playground as well! It would be lovely if they would make the common area as a restaurant, because the ambiance & the view are just lovely. ☺️

This is a cool place to learn a little history of Fort Mac. There is a small museum inside that gives a good insight into the area as well as three ships and one train that each tell a story essential to the history of the area. There are picnic tables and a big playground so bring kids and enjoy spending the afternoon here.

Honestly a nice little spot to spend a hour or two at. Nice to learn about the history. Kept my kids occupied. Also I really hurt my foot goofing around with my kids and they were so nice, gave me ice packs, told me if I needed a chair they could get one for me, even came to check up after the fact to see how my foot was doing... great staff. Super friendly and professional. Will be going back again sometime! The play ground was also wonderful, very clean! 5 stars for sure!

Great place for the whole family. Very nice playground for the kids. If you like history trains and ships, this is a great place to spend the afternoon. I would recommend bringing a picnic.

Very interesting to see the equipment that was used years ago versus the equivalent that is used now.

Good place to go with the family. Train and ships are in very good condition. The place is clean and tidy. Bring your own snack and water.

Every year my kids love coming to the shipyard, hearing all the old tales about the boats on the river and how the railroad was utilized. This year we learned how the kids used to steal these carts to ride around on in Waterways!
