It's part of history around our area in Fort Frances Ontario, this tower has been here for over 50 year's & is cool to go up to look around our little town in the summer time.

I can only give this 2 stars because it was not open when we were there. The concept in nice and it looks well built and should have great views. The surrounding area is nice with a beautiful water trail to walk, Marina and ice cream shop.

From my view here on the other side of the Rainy River in the United States it looks like it would have some spectacular views.

Fun spot for a short climb. Good view of the surrounding areas and river.

The Lookout Tower in Fort Frances looks truly impressive. It was however closed when I passed by. Access should be free and unrestricted at all times.

Beautiful scenery

Some nice views from the lookout tower. This tower was at the Point Park for the longest time prior to it being moved to the riverside. The climb is not for the faint of heart, and can be a bit scary on windy days. Definitely worth the climb.

The tower is located in a river front park. It has several attractions. It also has an ice cream shop and a boat ramp. The top of the tower has a great view.

Enjoyed visit to Fort Francis. Tower happened to be closed for the season. Will try to make it back when the tower is open. Nice relaxing area along the river/lake.

Well worth the climb for the view. Metal grating steps were abut disconcerting and the slight sway when at the top.

No entry to the tower due to Covid. Nevertheless, a nice place to sit and take in the view of the beautiful dock and the US land across the river.

Fun little tourist spot.

Closed due to covid when we visited. Would've loved catching a sunset here but made do with the plaques and information. Don't miss the muscle beach setup if you need a quick work out.
