Just don't. This is THE WORST!!!!!! Unless you like trains and could sleep through the apocalypse. Long trains with squeeky wheels that take 15-20 minutes to go by. Trains blasting their horns super duper loud multiple times because of the nearby bridge and super nearby unmarked railroad crossing....every half hour to an hour.....practically right next to your trailer or RV....all night. Seriously. And you can even hear other trains horns in the distance coming from tracks you can't see from here.
And very little, if any, shade.
At least the tent sites have trees to help block the train racket but I can't imagine it is much better considering the thin walls of a tent.
Also, I will be holding it tonight because the bathroom spiders are insane! There are soooooooo many, one in every corner including bathroom doors and stalls. Big spiders with huge webs you have to duck under.
Oh, and it is not super cheap either in my opinion. $36.50 for a trailer/RV (15A power & water, not sure if there is a dump site or not since I do not have a black tank to dump), and $18.25 for a tent site (no power). I am from Alberta and that is highway robbery!
However, it is well patrolled. Been here for several hours and have seen 2 city vehicles and 1 police car do drive by checks of the camping and park areas.
So...yeah. There's that.
