Here you will see the information of real people who consumed the products and services of Old Fort Erie (Tourist Attraction) in the territory close to Fort Erie (Canada).
Right now the firm gets a score of 4.6 out of 5 and that rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is nearly the best one, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we may conclude that the valuation is very credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Historical landmark.
Great place to visit. Lots of history. Had a fantastic tour guide. Mike I believe was his name.
Although it was a cloudy day, the weather held off enough for us to take a tour around the fort, the clouds somehow added to the atmosphere. The guides were very knowledgeable and dressed in period clothes. Each room was set up with interesting information and examples of various items from the time. There was also an interesting display about a relevant local archaeological dig. Highlight was the musket fire of course!
(Translated) Closed when we visited on September 16 but nice place to walk. To visit during a next visit. (Original) Fermé lors de notre passage le 16 septembre mais bel endroit pour se promener à pied. À visiter lors d'un prochain passage.
Fun family outing near Niagara. It was so nice I would convert to Canadianism if it weren't a sin.
Fun!
Just amazing history
Beautiful scenery, nice place to walk, less crowded
We are sutlers ever year at the Seige of Fort Erie. A great event at the Fort.
(Translated) Great staff and their interaction. (Original) Genial el personal y su interacción.
An amazing interactive experience of the history of Canada. The team was amazing and the life in the fort seeing cooking keeping warm real wood ovens cooking and moving timber on wooden wheel barrows
They have done a great job recreating the war of 1812 experience.
Was so fun lots to see and do
They have some very good special events and re-enactments. Most of there events are well organized and well attended, so expect crowds if there is a special event going on.
Beautiful historic buildings and grounds. Experience living history at a battle reinactment or take a tour of the old fort.
Very fun and educational. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day out.
Nice place awesome view at night.
Old fort erie battle site.
Old Fort Erie is one of the Jewels left over from the War of 1812. Right after the French and Indian Wars the British decided to protect their frontier. So they decided to be pro-active about their territory. Originally built in 1764, the Fort was a couple of Blockhouses surrounded by a Wooden Palisade. The winter played havoc on it and damaged the Fort beyond repair. It was then decided to build a new one made of stone, which is located right behind where the original one was. Work was started around 1803, but still was not completed by the start of the war. The Fort had action throughout the 1812 Campaign, with it changing hands a few times. Later in History it saw action during the Fenian Rebellion of 1866. Go for a visit during the 1812 Re-enactment weekend in early August. An exciting action packed event. You will definitely enjoy your experience! ????????????
Nice Fort
historic place, nice walk arround ,unfortunately the buldings were close.
Beautiful place.
Ghost tour was great... Guide was informative and entertaining, seemed to be over really quick though (but it's worth the cost!)
An excellent place for history lovers. I would definitely recommend the guided tour, you'll learn so much more!
Canadian History :)
Great during the pandemic.
A very well managed center of attraction
GO FOR REENACTMENT WEEKEND! It's no more expensive to visit than normal but you get a pretty sweet show!
(Translated) Really interesting, but only part of the fort has been redone. The visit is short and the interpretation in French is less detailed than in English. (Original) Vraiment intéressant, mais seulement une partie du fort à été refaite. La visite est courte et l'interprétation en français est moins détaillé qu'en anglais.
(Translated) Impressive (Original) Impressionnant
Beautiful way to see history. Also food and an electric vehicle charger make it a must stop.
(Translated) To see, historical and relaxing (Original) A voir, historique et reposant
We had a wonderful tour guy by the name of Alex. He was very knowledgeable and concise you can tell he loved his job. There is a lot of history in Fort Erie on a beautifully groomed premises and the pristine waters of the lake. It was definitely an all over well informative and emotional experience.
The blast of cannons and muskets firing are, of course, the highlight of visiting any historic fort. But there is so much more to see and do here with plenty of photo opportunities. Daily tours, period re-enactments and interactive displays make this a stop to remember. You have to know where you came from to know where you're going I was once told by a War of 1812 historian. Maintained and managed by the Niagara Parks Commission.
Incredible experience
Amazing experience for all ages. The costumes of old. The reenactments will thrill your imagination of a bygone era.
Lots of history here.
Come see it for yourself, cool stuff to look at, and history to learn.
Beautiful park with amazing views of the water! Trail goes on for miles!
Great site and well presented. Worth the visit!
Awesome place to visit!!! Great history and just the thought of everything that happened there its great to experience for sure
Super-knowledgeable and personable tour guide. This is a really well-done place and gives you a real feel for how the War of 1812 played out at this location. Kids and adults both loved it, and would be great for casual visitors and history buffs alike! ????????????????????????
Great visit, very friendly staff
Can't go near most of the things due to covid, so unfortunately didn't get to have the full experience, but was a good time overall and the kids loved the museum!
Love this place! I learned a lot, even though they are still putting it together. The best tour guides I have ever had. Highly recommend!
Nice but I miss the old little ice cream snack bar there
Really interesting visit to the site of the last USA - Canada battle. Good reenactment. I recommend the included guided visit.
Loved it.
Interesting museum and grounds. If you like the old history, particularly military and early Canada, then definitely worth stopping in.
Always a blast...! Well kept site, great programming, interesting cast of characters!
Excellent experience. Beautiful place and very attentive personnel. Good for families but also history lovers.
(Translated) It is a very good monument. There are guides to explain, although I can't understand everything in English. . . . (Original) 是个很不错的古迹。有向导讲解,虽然英文的我不能算都听懂。。。。
Nice day out to get some local history.
You travel to 200 years ago. Fighting between the USA military and protectors of British monarchy over border. The location is the same but lots of renovation to teach people about an old military fort and what happened after the American independence from Britain. Good presentation good soldiers and good cannon firing every day. A museum gives you lots of info about old days fighting.
Wow ill start with that, it was really nice to see a pc of Canadian making history
Have seen many real forts in my life, considering those, this is mere a checklist.
Lots of history here, big disputes between the British and Americans.
Cuban Canadian Alliance they had a great time
Good reenactments.

Nice historical area
Truly a piece of history. The reenactment shows always draw a crowd and are definitely worth watching if you get the chance.
Very well done reconstruction with informative and interesting tour. Learnt, or relearnt, some interesting Canadian history. Can cover the fort in a couple hours.
the ghost walk was very interesting.
Lovely experience. The guide was v. Enthusiastic and was thorough with his explanation of the fort and its history. There was a guided portion and also time to roam the grounds on our own. Lots of history here. Recommended. Make sure you go to the kitchen to get a sample of the short breads! Yum
Always beautiful and peaceful
Very historic place, you can really learn a lot from being on the guided tours.
Very quiet place with loads of history and people working there in period clothes. Demonstration of musket rifles!
Fascinating glimpse into history. The guided tours are a great way to learn about what life at the Fort would have been like. Plenty of cool places to explore as well.

Liv going there i wish it was as busy as it used to be 20 plus years ago i love hearing the cannons go off it like they are in our back yard, we are 2 blocks away lol . Love to see the day when they have the reanactments its a great few days
I came up with my parents today because I'm writing a novel based around the War of 1812. Adam was our tour guide and he was extremely amiable and very well rehearsed in all things history.
Great place
Historic, well preserved. Interesting to see how soldiers lived 200 years ago
Nice fortress to visit a few hours
Not real old but fun for the family. Close to Lake Erie with view to Buffalo.
Awsome open historic site!!
Had a great experience here! Our tour guide, Alex, was informative and answered all our questions. The reenactment was an added bonus. Will definitely visit again!
Great Staff, small but enjoyable fort that will take you a few hours to poke around. Love fire demos of cannon, mortar and muskets.

A great living museum.
This is an exciting place to visit! Watch history as it unfolds before your eyes - the volunteers and staff always put on a great show!
Such an amazing experience for our group!
I remember this place
The tour was good fun... made the short bread recipe ... it's so tasty.
As a longtime military officer and history enthusiast, I quite enjoyed taking this tour along with my local Canadian friends. I highly recommend it if you're nearby.
We enjoyed our tour of the fort.
Such a wonderful destination
Fascinating place to see , much history there.
The last sight on Canadian soil that a foreign power had ever occupied and the last major war (War of 1812) Canada was directly involved in until the Boer War. A Must See ????
Great place with amazing history
Great guided tour and a musket demonstration! Good value for our family.
(Translated) A place steeped in history, therefore Canadian culture (Original) Endroit chargé d'histoire, donc de culture canadienne
Very cool.place
Take the tour, it's worth it for the information and interaction with the interpretors. We enjoyed fresh baked cookies and lemonade, watched them fire a mortar and muskets. There were games and clothes to dress up in. You don't have to be a history student to appreciate the significance of Old Fort Erie.
Beautiful historic site.
Very well done. Frequent guided tours and weapons demonstrations as well as a number of museum exhibits in and around the fort.
History lovers should know of this place, Fort Erie is here in all its glory. Enjoy the visit and the views. Learn something new today.
If you're local, or a visitor from out of town, it's worth it to take a stop at the Old Fort. So much amazing history to indulge in, with some unbelievable and unique artifacts that are just amazing. The staff clearly love their jobs so much as they get fully into each of their characters. It's truly a magnificent sight to see and a very warm atmosphere!
The tour was very informative and we enjoyed the musket demonstration.
Nice place to visit with family. The musketry demo is awesome!!
(Translated) Beautiful area. The explanations in the museum section and at the fort are in English and French. No francophone quide and the staff on site did not speak French. (Original) Très bel endroit. Les explications dans la partie musée et au fort sont en anglais et français. Aucun quide francophone et le personnels sur place ne parlaient pas français.
Really a place , worth visit and really appreciate services of guide .
Excellent tour if you love history
the best fort i have ben to
Went to see the siege of fort Erie reenactment. Feeling the ground shake with the canons firing and pyrotechnics was exhilarating. Watching the troops advance while they were firing their muskets was definitely worth the trip.
Doesn't open until end of May every year but I didn't know that when I tried to go in April. Would love to have more notifications about that on their website in the future....
It's a good place to bring the family. We had a very helpful and knowledgeable guide for our visit. Many great costumes or people dressed era-specific. Live musket displays! Lovely experience. The guide was v. Enthusiastic and was thorough with his explanation of the fort and its history. There was a guided portion and also time to roam the grounds on our own. Lots of history here. Recommended.
If you like historical sites and ghost tours it's an excellent place to visit.
We went here for a Niagara Park to dinner and ended up getting a re-enactment and it was absolutely fantastic ,well recommended
A place to see if into history and re enactments in the summer
Not my cup of tea, but it was an interesting experience. If you are a history buff then I’d definitely recommend it, most of my family really enjoyed it! There is a guided tour where you can see the whole place, get a few demonstration including the canon and rifle.
Buildings in good condition. Tour informative. Staff pleasant.
Great reeactment
I love the history of it
Old Fort Erie is a museum that takes roughly one hour to visit. First of all, you have the register, shop and restaurant. Up next, there is a small exhibition inside that brings to life the impressions of the different beligerants. Once outside, you can revisit reconstructions of what the fort might have looked like two centuries ago. The visit is interesting for those interested in local history. The admission fee is however slightly elevated.
(Translated) Excellent ride off the tourist route. Very explanatory guided tour and very competent guide, explains all the details and answers all doubts. (Original) Passeio excelente fora da rota do turista. Visita guiada muito explicativa e guia muito competente, explica todos os detalhes e responde a todas as dúvidas.. Recomendo a todos mesmo que não goate de história pois é muito didático e entretenido.
Courtesy and knowledgeable staff who are make you feel safe and comfortable during these "covid" times!
We spent a few hours here taking a guided tour. The guide was very knowledgeable, the restoration and museum were rally well done. If you are vacationing at Niagara Falls it is definitely worth the short drive south to see this landmark.
Nice to know about Canadian history. Ticket cost $15 for adult. Free for children less than 6 year old. They would show a 13 minute movie which clearly portrays the history. They have a small museum with war artifacts and the fort has the small building where the army lived, stored ammunition, cooked and took medical help with few of the items stored and maintained.
Very interesting! Great contextualization of the War of 1812.
Take the guided tour. It really helps make the visit more interesting.
Great place to learn about the history of our country as well about the relationship we have with our neighbours south of the 49th parallel.
I went here last Tuesday and it was great. It's off season now because the weather is getting colder by days so there were not so many visitors around but it was still amazing to be there. The admission ticket for adult is around 13cad. And it will take you around one hour to finish with the tour. They will start with a movie screening at the beginning and will walk around the fort afterwards. My guide name was Oliver and he explained us many things. The fort was still intact and still in a good shape here and there. We got to see the musket demonstration and there's another young man wearing the American uniform. It's interesting to see the contrast. The kitchen was probably the most fun one. I love how we can see their cooking equipment. And we also got to taste their cookies. There's also an exhibit at the admission center you can check out while waiting for your tour.
you can see it once ... I thought there would be a performance like a theater in which many soldiers are fighting ... but it turned out that this is not the case, either because of covid or on other days.
Found it quite interesting. Mary our tour guide was excellent. If you like history this is a nice experience
Beautiful place
Great museum and tour
Went here to visit the fort and experience a reenactment. The reenactment was amazing, with authentic clothing and equipment. The fort itself was staged with period appropriate items and the museum attached to the fort was very interesting and interactive. All of the staff we talked to were very friendly and eager to help. It's worth the few dollars to visit if you're in the area to experience a little piece of history.
Wa closed today: closrd Wednesdays and Thursdays
Took a night ghost tour. Very Informative. Volunteers were outstanding.
So much fun. Very knowledgeable employees who take the roles of their characters with confidence. Friendly staff willing to answer any questions you might have. Would love to come back again.
Nice history park
Is a beautiful place to learn. My kids enjoyed
Absolutely beautiful attraction in Fort Erie. Perfect for a walk or picnic. Many events going on in the summer time.
Love historic canada
Very nice place to go if you are visiting Niagara Falls and have a car. It's not far away from Niagara Falls, fhe prices are fair and the guided tour is amazing! You can learn about the site's history and also watch to a musquet firing demonstration. The staff members inside the fort are are all dressed like 19th century, it's a very immersive experience.
It's an experience that I ll never forget ... The views the cheap food inside the fort and of course the events ... You guys are doing great fort Erie staff ;-)
Very nice
Very fun! Can't wait to go again! Ran out of popcorn very quickly though.
Fun learning experience with the family.
Great place to go to learn the history of the town but not as open as I thought they would be but that's just me complaining a bit
Great experience, if you love history - definitely check it out!
Went for the Revolutionary War event last weekend and it was great. Really beautiful fort.
The historical reenactors are all awesome, dedicated people. They are teaching our children so much. History owes a great debt to people like that.
We really enjoyed the guided tour at Old Fort Erie as well as the mortar demonstration. My 7 year old was kept entertained, and we also found the location to be very stroller accessible which was handy.
Movie is must-to-see
It has a good lakeside view of the us border with the peace bridge
Wonderful place!
If you're a history buff, then this is a can't miss. Apart from the actual Fort & the beautiful surrounding parkland & riverfront views, Old Fort Erie offers spectacular re-enactments & a nighttime ghost walk during the summer & around Halloween.
It's a ways off the beaten track in comparison with the rest of the Niagara Falls attractions, but it provided an enjoyable hour or two learning about the history of the border conflict between Canada and the U.S. in the War of 1812. Tour guides dressed in period regimentals provided color and interest. An educational and fun side trip for the whole family.
A lot of history here nice place to visit
Would give 0 stars, i used to come in here for free when i was a kid and now they make you pay? What kind of nonsense is that, i could see paying for the tour but they literally make you pay to walk around.
An informative and well run historic site. Will return.
Did the ghost tour. But the halloween event is the best
Part of Canadian history to explore.
We had such a great experience at Old Fort Erie. We went for the historical reenactment and spent the afternoon touring the grounds, museum and vendors. It was a wonderful day out for everybody.
Excellent guide she was very friendly and interesting site too, worth the detour if you are in the Niagara Falls area.
Great learning experience. Always take European visitors.

My son is hugely interested in history, with a current focus on the war of 1812. Old Fort Erie is well organized, and the historical recollections are wonderfully presented.

If you're visiting the fort, check out the guided tour. Definitely worth your while if you're a history buff.
The staff was exceptionally helpful wonderful tour

Full of history, great tour.
Extraordinary historic fort with exceptional guided tours by historical reenactors. One of the best tours this vacation. Smaller is size than surrounding forts, but far more well run and historical significant.
Beautiful town
it's nice if ur in the area
(Translated) It does not tell, you have to live it, I advise you (Original) Cela ne se raconte pas, il faut le vivre, je vous le conseille
I'm so thankful for the preservation of our historic landmarks. Ghost tours here are very fun and engaging. Milkshakes are simple and delectable. Haven't been to the reenactment yet, but from driving by in past years, it looked detailed and immersive.
Wonderfully refurbished historic site. Great folks and a nice cafe and gift shop.

Great bit of history from that time the US invaded Canada
Amazing experience from the tour to the demonstrations. I highly recommend coming to Fort Erie and spending a few hours to exploring history.
Fun and interesting. Not as big and doesn't have as many things to see as fort George
They have a Canon... Need I say more..
Great place to visit
It's a good place to bring the family
Interesting, educational, and my kids liked it.
The guide was very knowledgeable and patient, they let you explore all you want. The actors wander around to answer your questions. It's a great "last stop" before heading back to America.
Great first meeting of the 2020 speaker series with Adam Shoalts on Feb. 26.
Very friendly and informative staff. Kids will have a blast and get some education. Several interesting firearms demonstrations of period style weapons.
Its ok
A must see site for anyone interested in the War of 1812. The site includes a recreation of the British Siege set-up and what the Fort would have looked like during the American occupation. Information at the Fort and museum include topics such as the siege of Fort Erie in 1814, medical instruments used at the time, indigenous contributions, the Fenian occupation, and artistic images of the ruins up to modern times. The staff are informative, knowledgeable, and kind.
Most intact fort among all in niagara region
Historic place, did not able to go in as we don't know the time table.
One of my favorite places in the world
The ice walls were really neat!
Nice walk
Live action events should happen more often. Should be permanent vendors in the summer
(Translated) Very good as a place. Guided tour in French available. (Original) Très bien comme endroit. Visite guidée en français disponible.
My family has been several times over the years and we love it. The reenactment of the war was our favourite. The people are knowledgeable and we have fun looking around. Looking forward to seeing it again.
Great living history tour
Not much to see
Great historical reenactment site
Very engaged personnel
It was a nice afternoon, clear skies, a little windy. The drive from Fort Erie to Niagara Fallls along the river very pleasant. Highly recomended.
(Translated) Very interesting. Courteous and interactive staff (Original) Très intéressant. Personnel Courtois et interactif
(Translated) A good tip for a trip from Niagara Falls or if you want to cross the Canada / USA border and start in Buffalo. This fortress is not as old or as large as a military fortress in Kingston, but it is worth seeing. Even here you will meet British costume guides and demonstrations of shooting weapons and guns. I tady potkáte průvodce v kostýmech britské armády a ukázky střílení z původních zbraní a děl.
Old Fort Erie. On the edge of the Niagara River in Fort Erie what makes it unique is that you can experience the sights and sounds of a fort under siege at this War of 1812 National Historic Site. Join British, First Nations, and American soldiers on a tour of the grounds and learn more about Niagara's pivotal role in the War of 1812.
I love history and the history here as presented by our guide was real and inspiring.
Nice place worth the trip
Best place in Niagara region, with a lots of fun. Nice reception and friendly environment.
Can’t say enough about the staff at Old Fort Erie. Without exception I found them to be friendly, accessible, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic in their role as ambassadors of the Fort’s history.
Very educational
Great place to visit. Take the guided tour.
Fun time and educational! The guides were very informative and fun to be with on the tour.
Live in wonderful Fort Erie and attend every year.
The tour was phenomenal. Learned so much of the history from our guide, Ryan. Best part was the cannon and musket demostrations.
We had a very helpful and knowledgeable guide for our visit. Many great costumes or people dressed era-specific. Live musket displays! It was just a little pricey for the 2-3 hours you're going to take visiting the fort. Do it anyway, just go there knowing it won't be "cheap".
Historic place with a wonderful view of the lake
Nice! I have pics to prove it!
Great way to spend a few hours outdoors near the river/border with kids. Full marks to reenactors who put on a good show with the muskets. Very quick, informative, and funny!
Well as they say, it's worth the drive to Acton, picking up on this even with summer road work on the QEW from Niagara Falls area to Fort Erie the traffic was moving well. It also has a few places to exit to get off if traveling with young ones that may have to use the washroom. Should allow about 2 hours from the GTA travel time. Great tour guides that know the history and didn't come across as it was just a summer job...very refreshing! The washrooms were well stocked and clean. There is lots of (free) parking and large out door grounds to eat lunch. As on any walking tour make sure you wear good foot wear. Good Value!
Great view!
Long drive away from the main city and not very fun or entertaining
Stunning! So beautiful the whole area: the view the shop the reastaurabt the info you can get and the people ready to help you !
A very fun day out, thanks for the great tour!
Great place very interesting if you enjoy historical locations, very friendly staff
My family and I do enjoy exploring the grounds. Some buildings require some painting and other minor maintenance.
Tons of history and great reenactments

Great tour guide, knowledgeable and friendly. Museum good, but small. Relatable displays.
It was a good place for a visit, the guides were excellent explaining the harassment the Americans were giving the Brits, we soon showed them who was the boss.
Great place to learn some history
Was neat to see
Very interesting area about history. The guide was very knowledgeable about everything.
Nice place to spend couple of hours with kids and family. The place is packed with information for curious minds and also has a lot to see, to touch, to ask for younger ones. Special thanks to those who work there, guys really knew the history of the fort, shared interesting information about that time and traditions, answered all the questions. It was really lovely experience .
Good information really enjoyed the tour
Nice tour and funny
Fantastic place to visit! We had a great tour done by Travis. The entire staff was very friendly, knowledgeable. Loved the musket demonstration. We learned a lot of new information about the War of 1812 and part Old Fort Erie played and it was nice to be able to do something in Niagara area other than just the usual touristy things around The Falls. I was very happy to share this as a suggestion to friends and family. (And scenery looking out on Lake Erie and Buffalo in the distance was lovely too!)
Nicely restored with new Canada Parks info centre at the entrance
Wonderful historical site to visit
Great place. Well preserved
Hidden Gem for GTA residents
We visited Old Fort Erie, the visit and the guided tour was impressive. The staff made a determined effort to inform the other participants of the tour. The fort is well worth the visit.
This is a great place to visit if you are in the Niagara area, Fort is beautifully reconstructed and it has new visitor center with tons of information and artifacts on display. And ice cream!!!
Excellent experience. Really enjoyed the tour.
Great place to learn about our history
Short guided tour by period actors. Neat and worth an hour to see if you have time. It's not very big.
They did a very good job.
A fun place to learn about history. The guides and actors were great!
Very good place to see and love it great to see
Docents did a great job. A nice intro to the life of a soldier during the war of 1812. My 6y/o even enjoyed it.
Loved the experience. Recommend.
Well curated museum.
An old town full of history.
If you like 1812 Ontario history great place to visit! Knowledgeable tour guide, who showed lots of enthusiasm about the fort and it's history. Introduction video is very well done. Friendly staff. Basic concession food available, bought a decent coffee. Clean, modern washrooms, nice indoor information displays! Easy free parking!
Lots to see in terms of Canadian history.
Very interesting. Fantastic tour guides
Had a great day watching the battle reinactment and did the tour. Definitely worth checking out. So much history and tons of interesting displays. Will be going back to see the big show in August
Loved the history. The re enactors are great, and happy to answer any questions.
Great guided tour and it was a lot larger than I thought it would be.
I had a thrilling experience, here at Old Fort Erie, watching the Reenactment of the Siege of the Fort, by British and Canadian Forces, doing Battle with the Americans during the War of 1812, which was the Bloodiest Battle ever in Canada. I highly recommend that you bring your Family and friends to witness this exciting age of Canada's History????????????
Katherine had given us a wonderful tour
Reed was great
It's a good pit stop for for two hours. I enjoyed it.
For the price great display and tours provided. Closes early so you have to go there early.
Excellent value. Entertaining and knowledgeable staff.
Incredible

Our tour guide was a young lady who was so personable and a font of historical info. Very much enjoyed our afternoon there. The musket demo was well worth the tour alone!
Great experience! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

We came over from Buffalo to watch the war re-enactment, and had a great time. Highly recommend visiting.
What a nice interesting tour, very informative and well worth it
Very cool experience!
Good
The roar of cannon and musket fire, the smell of gun powder... huge iron gates, spiked fences, and stone bunkers line the hills... Not to mention who could resist a ride on such a big gun!!! The old tyme yarns we were enthralled with around the camp fire, spoken in tongues fit for the era... I can't wait to visit again...
Very nice.
Gteat place where to take your family for a day trip.
