Captured all minute details in an amazing way

It was amazing! The staff were so enthusiastic! Pictures and videos don't do justice to the attention to detail that went into making this. You need to see it for yourself.

M. E.

What a great experience. The staff are obviously extremely well trained, super friendly, very helpful staff. They also seem to be enjoying their roles! The wonderful miniaturizations and displays are works class. A great way to spend a couple of hours downtown Toronto, even if you're not tourist! Little Canada is a must see attraction!!!

Sir Littlesin

Great attraction, but I wish all the workers were midgets :)

One of the best most authentic museums I have ever been to - the little details they add to each section are so fun and the staff are so friendly and show you all the little details in the exhibits - 10/10 recommend going to - I am definitely coming back a few more times - one visit is not enough

The staffs are really friendly. The artiest put a lot of heart in each display. It pays to take your time looking each figurines because each one have a fun story behind it. As of 2021, they are cover a few provinces. They are planning the northern territories. I hope they can expand and built it more. I would like to come back again ????

Tatiana Saldarriaga

The best miniature village ever. Whoever made it great job! I highly recommend it. ????

What is this? A Canada for ANTS??!

Rodger Beck

Wish I could leave 6 stars. The details are amazing. Funny little scenes between people. Live traffic. Night and day cycles so you can see the cities in different light. Fireworks display at Parliament Hill. A hotel with rooms designed by different builders. Such an incredible exhibit. The kids loved looking for Maurice. There's even a space near the end where you can chat with the miniature makers. The staff were all very friendly and engaging. My wife and 2 kids were still raving about it the next day. I regret not getting the annual pass because we'll surely be back!

A fascinating attraction that depicts Toronto and other parts of Canada in superbly crafted miniature models! ???????? The attention to detail is amazing! The exhibit cycles through day time and night time every 7 minutes, offering a different look and feel. It even has moving parts such as cars, trucks trains, a boat and even people. Look into the workshop where the happy model makers are busy working on the next features. They all enjoy what they do - and it shows. You will love it whether an adult or child! ♥️ Best of all is that the exhibit is constantly expanding, so you will have to visit again. Also on site is a gift shop and a cafe where you can sit down and grab some snacks. All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit. P.S. If you are so inclined strike a pose and get miniaturized in their pod. You can then place yourself in the model and be there forever. This costs extra of course.

Laurin Jeffrey

Wow, totally exceeded expectations. We had a blast, every scene is so incredibly detailed. You could spend hours looking for all the little easter eggs and hidden gags. Apparently it is only half done, there are another 7 or so scenes coming. We can't wait to go back in a few years when all of that is complete. And the miniaturization was very cool, if expensive. Our boys are now in Niagara Falls being terrified of the giants that stare at them ;)

Anne-Marie Brouillet

Beautiful exhibit ! It was my second time , I brought my elderly mother in her wheelchair. Site is accessible but it is hard to see in the wheelchair with the railing that is at the height of the people sitting in their wheelchair. Hoping that each destination will have at least one spot with a ramp with some kind of platform or a ceiling mirror so that people in wheelchairs can have a better view.

Victor Olu-Aminu

I really enjoyed and loved my visit here. It was fun and very exciting to see places in Canada and be able to visit them in a single place. You know what I would really love to see at my next visit? Airports! Yeah... would love to see those at the destinations.

Me & my son had a amazing time in Little Canada. Staffs were nice and open to answer any questions. Highly recommended. ????

Newest attraction!! Very nicely make of block to make it pretend we’re are in that city if we been there or not. I would recommend check it out.

Clifford Budgell

Loved Niagra Falls and Ottawa. The fireworks display on the parliament building was amazing. And since I was just at Niagra Falls and seen all the attractions, it was cool to see them all on display. Also the way it turns from day to night is cool! The only complaint is the cost of the models of yourself. I thought I was saving money for my partner and I to do the 360° camera together so we would only have to buy one model, but they still charge you for each person. One 5" figurine would have cost me 303+tax and then shipping. I couldn't bother with that price.

Bobi E.

I didn't know what to expect but was blown away. What a neat experience looking at the detail each designer has put into every element of this exhibit. I loved that they have activities that change over time to keep it fresh, right now Halloween finds, characters, costumes, decorations all over the sets. It was also cool how the exhibit changes while you are there from day to night. My kids loved it and were so excited they didn't know what to look at there was so much to see. We are getting a pass, excited to go back.

10/10. My mind hurts when I think about the amount of work that has gone into this incredible display. It was amazing. Everyone in the family loved it. Meeting the model-makers was very cool.

What a fantastic place to visit as a child or a child at heart. Something here for people of all ages to admire. The level of detail is incredible. Highly recommend this place for a visit to see a beautiful, miniature version of Canada.

What an amazing experience. My two young boys, 6 & 11 and I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. It’s an evolving thing to, they’re adding more so I’ll definitely be going back. Super friendly staff, just a really great time all around. I really give credit to those that brought this all together, there is so much to it. I could connect to it as I’ve been to several of these places in Quebec & Ontario. Really looking forward to seeing future additions.

My photos just don't do this place justice. It must be experienced! Little Canada is a breathtaking display of miniature cities and regions of Canada (currently Niagara, Toronto, Golden Horseshoe, Ottawa and Quebec), with more being designed and built (East Coast, West Coast, Prairies, Montreal, The North). 3 generations of our family went together and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. My 61 year old mother and I (39) enjoyed the exquisite attention to detail of each and every miniature. My 7 year old loved the scavenger hunt to find a special hidden character in each region. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Koushik Pasupuleti

This is a hidden attraction in the heart of our great city. The hard work put in to make this place appealing is very visible. Beautiful representation of all our famous cities and great way of engaging the crowd. Staff is very cordial and helpful too. Though I found the price to be on the higher side, I would definitely recommend this place as a must have atleast once

Yves Apel

Fascinating, a masterful installation.

Steve Daoudian

I’ve never seen such a details and organized this match ……..such a beautiful place to see

Elaina

Wonderful exhibits! They are still completing a few areas like the East Coast, Prarie, Rockies, West Coast and Northern Territories - but what they have so far is incredible and takes a good hour to go through! Niagara Falls is so impressive with its animated falls, it filled the whole room. The scale of everything is insane it has to be seen in person - can't wait for them to complete more areas! I also loved the inclusion of places not normally seen like Hamilton and Waterlooo/Kitchener - even Stratford makes it on here! I was nice to see and you can tell a lot of thought and effort and research went into this.

Great experience! Who knew that miniature worlds could be so big! We weren't sure what to expect but the whole family enjoyed the visit. There's an incredible amount of detail in the 5 exhibits: Niagara Falls, Toronto, the Golden Horseshoe, Ottawa and Quebec. There are day and night cycles which highlight different aspects of each exhibit that cycle every 15 minutes and it really doesn't feel very long at all for the day/night cycles to change! The kids and I really enjoyed searching for Maurice the Moose! For visitors that are new to Canada and life long residents, the exhibit is both nostalgic and prompts you to put events and sites on your list of places to visit and things to do! Who knew that there was a Swan parade in Stratford (you can find it in the Golden Horseshow exhibit)! The attendants in each exhibit were enthusiastic and knowledgeable and gave us more things to look for. It's an amazing experience and the price of admission is well worth it to enjoy and appreciate the craftsmanship in creating all the details - a single tree takes 1 to 2 hours to build (it's fascinating talking to and examining the work that the craftspeople do to see how much effort is invested to create the intricate level of detail in each exhibit. The level of detail is much, much more than you think. We find a restaurant that we ate at in Old Quebec City in the exhibit! We're really excited to see Little Canada grow over the years with The Great North, the East and West Coast and Prairies in the plans. Minor suggestion: (and recognizing that we visited in the first month since opening): consider selling Maurice the Moose merch in the gift shop - the kids spent so much time searching through each exhibit looking for Maurice that they would have liked to get something to remind them of their fun search!

dalia dvorak

We have visited the place today and it was AWESOME! Such a surprise. Each and every showroom is a masterpiece, super detailed and beautifully displayed. The soundtrack across the room is unique to every place. Every couple of minutes the sun goes down and rises again so you can see the places shown at night time and day time. We will come back when the rest of the places are built. SUPER RECOMMENDED!

The whole family gave it a 10/10, that is not something we see often with 2 teens!

Jeff Ching (The Ching of Comedy)

It's strange to call this place a hidden gem, when it's located at one of the busiest intersections of the city. Yet, it seems like no one has heard of this place and neither did my friends who I asked to come along, but they sure were glad I did when the experience was over. Little Canada truly is Toronto's hidden treasure; a unique experience you can't get anywhere else in Canada. So, I don't know what to say that hasn't already been covered by other reviews. The art work is immaculate, and the more places you've been, the more you appreciate. Even the front hallway of Ottawa's Museum of History is captured in painstaking detail. There are so many little details that I feel like it would take multiple visits to truly appreciate everything. And don't get me started on the tech, and electronics involved. Wow. I like some of the creative liberties and little bits of comedy sprinkled throughout. Their metaphorical interpretation of the Revenue Canada building in Ottawa is hilarious. My only suggestion (though please don't take this seriously), is I think we should see frequent TTC delays as I think any Torontonian would have a laugh about that. See the train stop, then pipe in the audio of, "We apologize for the delay. We're having signal issues." What's cool though is that after you're done, you get a chance to have a talk with the technicians. I asked how frequently the tech breaks down, to which the guy showed me the microchip in the inside of the car, then showed me the cars that were taken out, and put it on a makeshift track, to which it was funny to see the car drive right off the track. Then he showed me another demo of the moving car, and putting another car in front, to which it immediately stopped. The technology is jaw dropping. He then talked about some very ambitious ideas they have for recreating the East Coast. He doesn't know if they'll all work, but they're going to try. Then you get to have a chat with the artists who make all the miniatures. I've seen some reviews criticize this place for not having signs of the buildings. I completely disagree as I think it would be too cluttered and ruin the immersion. Any time I wanted to know what building was what, I just asked the employees standing by, who were very enthusiastic to answer my questions. Every single of them seem to love working there. Little Canada should not be a hidden gem. It should be as well known and mainstream as the immersive Van Gogh. When tourists come to Toronto, Little Canada should be heavily advertised to them. And I think the government should be funding such a uniquely Canadian experience. I'll be back to bring other first timers. Then when the East Coast is finished, I want to be the first person notified!

Great experience. Could have spent hours looking at all the details. Everything is so realistic and quality is amazing. Staff were all very helpful and super friendly. Covid protocols and timed tickets made it a very safe outing. Will definitely go again as the building continues.

Lucy Guo

Let me start by saying that the staff there were amazing! We feel very welcomed, and they were always around and available to answer any questions. We visited all 5 little destinations, as well as the Littlization Station where you get your 360° photo taken, and later on you have an option to purchase your mini figurine; and the Miniature Makers Studio, which was most impressive - the amount of work the employees put in to just a small tree was AMAZING! Highly recommended!

Sherry Li

This is just absolutely amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. Just go and see it in person and you will LOVE it!! To all the people involved in this huge project- THANK YOU!

Tim Guo

Awesome experience for fans of models and crafts! So many fun little details to explore and the staff were very attentive in showcasing the work.

Nikkon Ransheed

What an incredible experence and diverse look at what it is to be Canadian. I applaud the team of creators, owners and investors in this amazing idea. A true testiment to pride for our country! I can smell the maple syrup in the air!

Catherine Ross

We enjoyed Little Canada very much! It was wonderfully designed and the craftsmanship, attention to detail, humour and imagination shine through everywhere. I can’t wait to revisit and see how Little Canada grows!

Laura Deacon

Fantastic hidden gem, extremely friendly staff & welcoming atmosphere. So much detail in all of the displays. Great spot to take family, kids, or friends in the heart of downtown. Very impressed!

W Clark

This place is remarkable. The detail, including little Easter eggs to find in the scenes, means it's always fun and you'll find something new. My wife and I got the annual pass and have already visited 3 times. It is accessible to persons with disabilities and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Sylvan Mably

So much fun! Packed full of intricate detail and endless cute/hilarious easter eggs. The staff are so nice and friendly too. We loved going behind the scenes in the control centre and talking to the constructors in the workshop.

wendy ospina

Really, really charming. Do go during COVID when the crowd s down and you can really look at and admire the love and passion that has went into the work. Joyous.

Amay Bhumak

I think the photos look it better than it Is really. I mean it's pretty cool but I don't like how disorganized it is. It's not a replica. Things are places all over so if you are not from these places(in some cases even if you are) you won't know where these buildings are because they are all so misplaced. And there's no description of what you're looking at. That could be helpful. It's just an okay experience. The staff is extremely helpful tho for anything you want to ask but like how many times can I bother someone lol. And you can clearly tell how much effort went into putting this together. ????

Darya Mohammadi

That was definitely a memorable adventure in toronto. Details in each part are just amazing definitely recommend and we will be back .

Les James

Awesome display. The attention to detail is amazing. And the displays will grow and improve.

Great experience, especially with kids.

The amount of detail was spectacular, also staff where always available for questions and to point out interesting things in the exhibit. Best exhibit I’ve ever be in Canada!

Mohit Gogia

This exhibit will blow your mind. Designed for all ages with so much detail that you need to visit multiple times to really grasp the scale of this exhibit. Makes you want to go visit places (in real life) that you see at this exhibit. Not to forget the amazing staff, everyone is so happy, helpful and courteous.

There’s so much to see here that I don’t know where to begin. First off, LOVE the concept. There’s so much beauty and wonder in this amazing country and Little Petite Canada does a great job highlighting this in the displays they have thus far. There’s so many little details and humour throughout one could literally spend hours exploring. Trying to find Maurice the mascot is fun and helps the viewer zone in on different scenes and notice things you may otherwise miss. The tiny moving chickens ???? are so cute!! Be on the look out for them and the Bean Counter Agency! ???? The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable. Covid protocols are excellent so it felt safe attending an indoor event in the current climate. Vaccine passports, ID and bags are checked at the door before entry. Buy tickets online, pick the time slot you want to enter (ours was 2pm), touch-less ticket scanning off your mobile, hand sanitizers everywhere, and staff wiping high-touch areas like the railings that protect the displays. It was not over crowded so it was easy to social distance and take your time looking at the different displays. I very much appreciate the step so short people like me (and children) are able to see the details more easily. So cool to see the command Centre where they monitor everything that moves and speak to the staff who work at the miniature makers area. We also miniaturized ourselves which was fun. We took a couple of poses, you pick the pose you want and they make you a mini me!! So easy and cute. Our miniatures will arrive in the mail in a few weeks. Before the exit, there’s a small cafe and gift shop if you’re feeling peckish or want a souvenir. They will be expanding in the coming years with new areas every year. It’s such an amazing way to see so much of Canada in a short time. It was a fun afternoon for our whole family (2 adults, 2 teens). I highly recommend a visit and will be back again in the near future.

A must visit

Alan Wechsler

We took countless photos and videos because every couple meters along the way we saw something else that was fascinating, captivating and more. But even more impressive (to me, anyway) is the sheer passion exhibited by literally every person we encountered who worked there. One of them mentioned that Little Canada looks for 3 main qualities in potential hires; Passion, patience and creativity. We saw all of that everywhere, especially a passion for this place we call home. A great visit.

Karyn Armitage

Anatoli Litmanovitch

This is the best experience of craftsmanship and dedication we have seen in years! Beautiful display, well organized, visitors felt welcomed and appreciated. Proud to be Canadians! Great for the whole family visit.

What a fantastic exhibit. A must see for any age. We had my 17 yr old son and grandparents with us today and everyone had a great time. The models are so detailed. Beautiful way to see Canada. They have a great sense of humour as well. I was impressed with ability to go from day to night every 15 mins. The staff are very engaged answered lots of questions. Highly recommended. We will go back for sure.

vision

I've always been a huge fan of these kinds of things, and this one was spectacular. Extremely detailed, accurate representations of city life. Niagara Falls was the best, with Toronto maybe the most underwhelming due to the inclusion of only select areas of downtown. Nevertheless, when the future areas are built, I will return with pleasure. Worthwhile for all ages, however shorter people may be at somewhat of a disadvantage since there are some details that benefit a higher point of view. Very excited for Little North and of course, the mountains of BC!

Came here with my sister and I absolutely enjoyed every moment during the visit. The depiction of Toronto, GTA, Ottawa and Montreal was very spot on. There is so much attention to detail to every city and very much a mind blown experience to see how much effort, time and detail was put into this exhibit. Definitely coming again, as going only once is not enough to check out all the detail in each exhibit. The staff are super friendly and they point out some funny things that you may not actually see. It's a fun experience as the display is always changing time to time therefore there's always something different to see whenever you go again. I can't wait when they start extending and displaying other parts of the city and showcasing other provinces too. I got my passport so I am definitely returning again in the future.

Arsh Dhillon

Andrew McDiarmid

The coolest exhibit you never knew you had to see until now. Seriously, it's beyond awesome!

Sandro Cirone

Great exhibit in miniature scale. 10 years in the making. Very detailed structures and landscapes showcasing major landmarks and scenic vistas. West Coast, Alberta, Prairies and East Coast still under construction. Absolutely worth seeing. You can even purchase an exact image of yourself in various scales.

Editor

Wow, just wow. I cannot say how much I loved this experience! All of the miniature cities are heavily detailed and all look identical to the actual cities. If you showed someone photos of one of the miniature cities without telling them they'd most likely think it's real. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, telling you about each attraction in every city. I got nothing but good things to say about this place so it's a 5/5 from me. If I could go higher I would and I'll definitely be returning once more of the attractions open up in the next few years.

This is my first ever review on google :). I couldn't help but to write a huge THANK YOU to everybody who is involved in this absolutely amazing project! Two hours flew by like a second while we were looking at familiar places and discovering new ones. The idea and its implementation clearly show a pure love to what these professionals have done and how much fun they have! And BTW we have found all 12 Maurices and a Big Foot! :)

Sean Cooper

Little Canada was better than I ever could have imagined. It blew me away the level of detail. I'm a Canadian history buff, but even I learned a thing or two. I'd highly recommend Little Canada to anyone. You'll get your money's worth and then some.

Catherine L

Wonderful experience.

Mustafa Alsadah

You must check out this place. I had absolutely incredible experience in little Canada. They took 10 years to build this amazing work.

Eugene Akimov

Very unique experience. Impressive work and much attention to details. You can also learn something new and each part of composition is telling some story behind it and have reason be on display. Realistically day night changes, even wolves voices at winter night makes displays very live.

Gerry Pearson

My family spent a few hours there easily, so highly detailed HO scale dioramas with moving cars, trucks ,and trains as well with working lights. Highlights include Little Ottawa with an O Canada show and Rogers Centre in Little Toronto with an opening roof. Another nice feature is there is a daylight scene as well as a night time scene.

Camila Gargantini

I had been waiting for Little Canada to open since reading the article on Toronto Life about the creator. It didn't disappoint. It's a beautiful display, with so many little surprises throughout. Highly recommended!

Dong Ngo

Excellent place to visit. The models contain a lot of great little details from flashing lights to moving cars. The staff are really friendly and are clearly really excited by their jobs. They went past closing hours to give my partner and I a little tour of how everything operates. Will be back again in the future, highly recommend visiting.

They have amazing staff. They will tell you all the cool facts about the place. 4 star only because I would like to see entire Canada, however, all the places they have now is worth watching! Super fun for kids as it is one of its kind in Canada! Personally I loved Quebec a lot and would to see Northen territories. They have enough space to socially distance and look around !

This place is stunning!! The amount of intricate detail put into the displays is amazing. So happy this place exists and can't wait for the expansion that will include regions all across Canada! Personally, after seeing how much work and detail that's put into everything, I feel the price is worth it. This place is special and I can't wait to see it grow!

Best place I had visited ever ???????? It has a lot of beautiful details that make you feel you are in that area, such as the sounds and the movement of cars! A different experience I really liked and I am looking forward to see the new areas they will add in the upcoming years.

Shumaila Ansari

Maklane deWever

Amazing experience, not very busy, must see.

Daniel Gouvea

Absolutely amazing. Cities look very alive with so many details that you will probably not catch all of them in one visit. I was stunned by the night and day cycles, and cars moving with no visible tracks. All the staff is very friendly and is always ready to give you more information about the places on display. At the end you can even see a behind the scenes of how miniatures are designed and put together. I am definitely coming back when the new exhibits open.

sneha bhosle

Such a cool concept and great efforts taken by the team to show every small detail. Staff is super helpful and nice place to spend couple of hours with family and friends.

Joanne Collins

Absolutely mind blowing. I felt so inspired and uplifted visiting Little Canada. Totally awe inspired by the creativity and accuracy and how they nailed this beautiful country of ours. A MUST SEE!!!

Duncan Peng

Something you have to see to fully appreciate - the attention to detail and sheer vastness of it all is just awe inspiring. Such an ambitious project. I just love that this exists and can't wait to see what they continue to add in the coming years.

This was a fun visit if you’re at Young & Dundas. The exhibit is growing so we will need to go back. I was craving fudge and beaver tails after the Niagara Falls exhibit. Lots to see, take your time. The kids had fun “moose hunting” too.

Jennifer Prince

What a surprise and delight! SO. MUCH. FUN! Take the time to slow down and enjoy this gem of an experience. Look for all the little hidden treasures, jokes and secret treats within each scene. Will 100% be back to see the new and expanding little parts of Canada!

llam

What a magical place!! We really enjoyed all the displays. They are incredibly intricate and fun to look at. The staff and artists are happy to answer questions and share interesting tidbits about Little Canada. There is so much to see - we definitely will be back!

I.M. Ulysses

Completely worth every penny. Truly an amazing display, and it will only keep getting better. A typical slow walking tour will take a good 90 min but even that does not seem long enough to absorb it all. Because of the nature of the display and space considerations not every single detail is included (I.e such as Toronto's iconic city hall) but they hit the big points and hit them well. Definitely a great place to visit as am individual or with friends and family. And you will need to go again. Once is not enough. And as it grows that will become even more clear. This is a true tribute to Canada and one every Canadian should be proud of!

Gordon Hagerman

Awesome !!!!

Herbert Graf

Very cool place! Extreme attention to detail, and a ton of really fun Easter eggs! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Really fun place to visit with the kids. Make sure you wait for sundown at parliament hill to see the fireworks show!

Incredible miniatures, took around 10 years from the conception stage to put this exhibit. Totally worth the 90 mins spent and kudos to the employees for answering all our questions. Oh don't forget the "Maurice the Moose" scavenger hunt too!

Shunsho Heng

Amazing experience! I really enjoyed visiting Little Canada. The amount of details in each of the exhibits is amazing! I would definitely recommend visiting Little Canada.

Kari Lynn Larsen

This installation is absolutely amazing. What a great way to spend a few hours. I will need to come back to view everything in more detail.

Sharon Alleyne

This experience was beyond awesome and epic. I enjoyed every moment. Im telling everyone to visit for this wonderful experience. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

An incredible and must-see attraction! My little cousin (9 years old) and I finally got to visit Little Canada after watching their building journey over the last few years on social media - and we were beyond impressed! The level of detail on display already exceeded expectations and the delightful exhibits will be a big hit for any age! Very pleasantly surprised by the sheer number of moving, animated, and just brilliant items on display! We are already planning our return visits to see all the future exhibits/expansions they plan to build and will be getting an annual pass for sure! Special thanks to the staff in the workshop near the end for being so friendly and open in showing us how everything is built!

Susan LeBlanc

It's expanded a lot since my first visit years ago. It takes them about year to build out one exhibit. I'll be thing back again in 2-3 years. It's really well done. Little Niagara actually inspired us to take a trip to Niagara Falls a could days later.

Matthew Trendota

Amazing! Can’t wait for the next exhibits to open up!

Mauricio Alvarez

The concept sounds a lot less cool than it actually is. This place is incredible. The level of detail and curating is second to none. The ability to make yourself part of the exhibit is genius. I hope this becomes a well known and highly visited Toronto attraction. There is nothing but love for our country in each display. Well done.

James Bacchus

Going to be on the got to do list for coming to Toronto!

Erik Thor

This place is a must see this year. Went with friends, all adults, and had a blast. Staff seem a bit cringey at first, but just ask questions and you will see how passionate and genuine that actually are. Especially talk to the people at the end in mission control and the creators area. So wonderful. Spent about 2 hours and could have stayed longer. Pricey, but understandable for the artists they are employing to build, maintain, and constantly improve the displays. This place needs more attention from the public. Wow.

Mehrzad Namdari

It’s Amazing ???? you can find practical combination of art , engineering and intelligence. In 2 hour tour you have real experience to visit Niagara, GTA , Ottawa and Quebec.

Darren Smith

Simply amazing. A must see. Very friendly and helpful staff. When they complete some of the other areas of Canada + expansions to existing, it will be stunning. Some liberties are taken, don't expect exact replicas. Toronto was the first thing they built and it's a bit obvious. It's still fantastic! Just take in the splendor of it all and appreciate the amazing effort and perseverance placed in its creation.

All 5 stars reviews are not scams I can assure you! This place is just like magic, the team had been building this exhibit for 10 years and there's no single spot out of wonder! Only 4 locale to show for now, however we've spent 2 and a half hour inside. They also have mini shows on reach locale, like Canada day fireworks in parliament hill. THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE! We'll definitely visit there again.

VARUN SEHGAL

Best place for kids …Must visit place if you are in Toronto….Amazing ????????

The Bickley Central

Fantastic display, the staff were excellent. Will visit again.

Gary T

Fantastic fun for everyone. The attention to detail is crazy, the chickens in the farm are pecking! If you do the scavenger hunt expect about 1.5 - 2 hrs. Highly recommended.

Went to Little Canada today with my elephant’s memory-ed SK aged son. He had been insisting on visiting since spotting it when the weather was nicer, and I had been saving it for a colder day like today. Be knew he had me too, we were finally in the area ( somewhere I had been avoiding because of this wretched virus. Showing very little interest in the Bay window displays and pretty acting like a jerk in the Easton’s Centre (he’s a total mallrat btw) to gtfo from there ASAP. Little Canada was the only thing on his mind, so I was a bit annoyed tbh and it had shaped what I thought I was getting into by authorizing a Dad and son visit.( a $60 and change admission) 2 pizzas. No big deal. I already was in the black getting out of the mall empty handed. So in we go. Real friendly staff up front, really selling the experience (which I was still not sold on) Really appreciated how pumped they were about the place, and how much they probably actually love Canada. First up is Niagara Falls, a place we went and visited earlier this year, and it was then that Louie was REALLY into it, Super detailed miniatures he was so excited to recognize everywhere he looked. Gave him a lot to to think about and absorb and appreciate. I was already in the Dad-win category I fight tooth and nail for. Super impressive. attraction right across the boards. The miniatures are SO detailed and fun. The whole display is really well presented from the light (night and day!!!) STAY FOR BOTH!! Incredibly cozy and clean, you’re right there, close enough to touch (pls don’t) and I think that also helps you love the place, that it’s creators trust you to not grab a truck and make it go vrooooom! (assuming you’re a 6 yr old too). The whole production is chef’s kiss balissimo!! Take your time, there are Easter Eggs all over the place throughout the attraction. Finding them is a joy. from the adorable, to the absurd, they really are the twinkle in the eye of Little Canada. An all around 5 star experience.

Let me start off by saying how amazing and blown away I was by this place! Honestly it’s a must see for families, dates, or just for fun! There’s so many exhibits to see and everything is done perfectly in detail. All the staff are so welcoming and made the experience that much more interactive and exciting! Haha honestly some of the nicest workers ever in a Toronto attraction, which is hard to come by. They are polite, informative, and super enthusiastic to work in a beautiful and exciting environment. Very much enjoyed my experience and will definitely be coming back and recommending for others to check it out! The price is very reasonable for all the things there are to see and I have to say its a great feeling to appreciate all the hard work and experience these destinations in Canada, in a Little Way!

Peter T

An amazing experience as you take a journey through Canada. The attention to detail is the most impressive part of this exhibit. There will be even more to come in the future. The best part was looking at the Little Toronto exhibit and finding all the local attractions. So much time and effort was put this exhibit and it is definitely worth a visit as one of the great attractions in Toronto. Perfect for a great time out with the family and kids or with friends.

L T

This place is so awesome. The guides were really friendly and had really cool facts. The detail is absolutely amazing and so immersive. You’ll really feel like you’re in those streets. It’s simultaneously spectacular and adorable. If this is not in your itinerary when you visit Toronto, I would recommend to add it! First place we saw and it helped give us an idea of what to expect when touring some parts of Ontario. We kept referencing little Canada (or little Ontario).

Krista Smith

Had an absolutely fabulous time here! The attention to detail is really off the charts!!! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable..would highly recommend

Kris L

World class. The thoughts, details and the level of sophistication that go into each display is mind blowing. It is definitely a must see. The staffs are also super friendly, ready to explain every detail. Our family went on a Friday afternoon and it was not busy. Lots of room for social distancing and plenty of hand sanitizing stations so we felt safe the whole time.

Frederick Tombs

Something new and cool to see in the city. Kids will love it but I just went with a friend and we had a blast. Great staff and great, animated models. Clearly very high attention to detail and excelent craftsmanship and storytelling

Morgan B-F

This is a must visit. The attention to detail is amazing and the effort put in is unreal. It’s a 10 year passion project and it shows. They also have the most friendly staff which stood out for me as it’s almost unusual to experience good customer service anymore. Perfect experience for families or if you’re on a date. Hope they do a future Little Banff/Canmore. Check it out!

Katarzyna Hernik

Great place to visit, there's a lot of fun with looking for mooses or just finding small people in everyday situations. There are a lot of hidden jokes, which are hilarious, people working there are very nice and seem to really enjoy they job. Thank you for the experience!

Jean Yu

Wonderful place to visit!! You can feel how much efforts they put in those models! And all the details are breathtaking! Definitely enjoyed looking for every little surprise in every corners. I will definitely visit again. Can’t wait more sessions open up.

Dominic Montante

Much like satellite photos can't show the intricacies of your own neighborhood, photos of this place really don't tell the whole story. The employees really put their heart into the work done here. I was absolutely blown away by the level of detail in all work—from iconic landmarks to even the most mundane, middle of anywhere strip mall. All are treated with the same level of meticulous attention, especially with the small elements of humor built into every scene. It was very fun to spot out familiar places, and even intriguing for my out-of-town guest who'd never seen Canada at all. I highly recommend talking to the employees there for the stories behind the work. They're very friendly and love to share what they've done! I'm very excited to see the expansion of displays in the future.

Karen Vaz

Enjoyed my experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, I loved the scavenger hunt!

Marty Steele

This is an EXCELLENT new attraction. Well worth the admission price. I allowed myself 90 minutes on my first visit, but found it was not enough time. I'll be back! The attention to detail is spectacular. The creators have done a wonderful job. All the staff are friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable. The displays are certainly not static, each has all kinds of activity going on, from cars, trucks and streetcars on the streets, and of course lots and lots of railways; freight, VIA and Go trains. But other items move too, including the Skydome (Rogers Centre) roof that opens and closes. Even some farm animals move. Players skate on the ice at the Gretzky Sports Centre. The Maid of the Mist takes a regular trip up and down the river at Niagara Falls. Ottawa has a Canada Day fireworks display at the Parliament Buildings. Every display has a 15-minute "day", so it gets dark and becomes night every 15 minutes. It all lights up! Highly recommended, for almost any age. There is a lower rail all the way through so kids (and adults) can step up to get a better peek into every display. If you are a Torontonian or Ontarian, you will really enjoy it, if you are a visitor from further away you'll get a great preview of Niagara Falls & Niagara on the Lake, Toronto and the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), including Hamilton, Mississauga, Brantford etc., Ottawa and Quebec.

Amanda Deacon

WOW. Words can't describe what you will see and experience while walking through Little Canada. Pictures you're seeing in these reviews aren't doing it justice. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and kind. Not only is it unique to see, but you get to learn some small unknown facts about Canada as you walk through the exhibits. Great for all ages and amazing value.

Sherri B

Wow! This is a must-see for anyone in Toronto - visitors and residents alike! The amount of planning and work that must have gone into this exhibit is astronomical. Right from the start you are greeted by warm, friendly staff who welcome you on your journey. And then you are immersed in the beauty that is Little Canada. It is truly breathtaking. From summer to winter scenes, night to day, you are welcomed to many of the country’s famous landmarks and cityscapes. Some are animated, like Rogers Centre (check out what’s playing on the Jumbotron!), Scotiabank Arena, and Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Go Trains and Via trains travel across the cities. Everything is so lifelike, you’ll feel like you’re really there! There are informational signs around the exhibits, but the best are the staff who are in each area and have tons of delectable tidbits of information you might otherwise not know. Ask them anything. Also, there are many humorous aspects to the exhibits as well: caricatures, animals that are bigger than the humans. Keep an eye out for them! If they don’t know the answer, they’ll find out right away! And one of the coolest parts of Little Canada, you can have yourself miniaturized and places wherever you like in the exhibit! How cool is that?!?! You can literally visit once and stay forever. Little Canada is one attraction to put on your bucket list. It’s not to be missed!

Nick W

It was a very cool experience. Very unique. The staff was plentiful, polite and courteous. A touch on the expensive side as a sweeter price would of been $20 per adult but still really nice. Definitely recommend it !

K T

I just loving it. Very detailed and delicated. I like how they show each sections in day time and night time. So that you may feel the differences. Staffs are friendly and I can tell how they enjoyed it and willing to explain the details of many parts of the models for the visitors. Such an amazing works and so impressed. I wish they will having one for the West Coast as well. I could love to bring my parents and have another visit of mine.

Amazing miniatures a truly enjoyable experience. Good opportunity to learn more about Canada and Little Canada . All staff very friendly .

George Jia

It is amazing. Perfect for kids and the child within you. Everything is made an amazing level of detail. The stuff are extremely friendly and helpful, everyone seem to genuinely love what they are do there which is very rare these days. They do an excellent job with social distancing and vaccine passport enforcement, we felt very safe there. Can't wait for the new additions such as little north and east coasts.

Kirk E

Great way to spend part of an afternoon. We got the Annual pass. Live nearby and have been twice in a week. There is so much going on that there is always something you missed or a new little nook. Have 2 younger kids and they had a blast trying to find Morris the moose. Its a blast for all ages and ots right at younger and dundas so you can make a day of being downtown. PaRKing Tip. Ryerson has a parking lot on Victoria Street. Very reasonable daily rate and you can walk covered from the rain almost all the way. Note the exist to the parking garage for pedestrian is at the north end of the structure.

Maria Clasper

Visited Little Canada today. What an amazing experience! So much attention to detail, friendly knowledgeable staff, so passionate and helpful. It was so amazing to see this in person. Have heard about if for years being a dream and a passion but to actually see it was another story. Really something you must see in person. Pictures do not do it justice. A unique and fun experience for young and old. Going from daytime to nigh time visual was a special treat. If you get a chance to check this out it worth the time, will not disappoint. Amazing!!

Eric Kwan

Interesting installation by a group of enthusiastic hobbyists. The curated exhibition is very intricate and detailed. However accuracy to layout is not there to ensure a visitor satisfaction. Though most of the iconic establishments and places are represented in each locale, some of the diorama's reached the uncanny valley and pulls away from the experience somewhat. Though the experience is about viewing these models and being able to meet it at eye level, they do offer a scavenger hunt of sorts. Maurice the Moose is hidden throughout but I did notice a few film and TV references hidden among the tableaus of the city folk dotted throughout. The layout doesn't offer much in terms of taking another look since access is barricaded for one-way traffic from Little Niagara to the rest of the exhibition and with escalators. Easily defeated by just passing the roped off area. Unsure if I saw elevators so can't validate their accessibility, definitely for the standing crowd. Staff on site are very interested in miniatures especially with the makers and electronics folk who work on the exhibition themselves. I found the floor staff to be very engaging and offer a friendly pre-pandemic experience until you notice the physical distancing and masks. Gift shop at the time was lacking since most of the material felt more like promotional tat you would get from a job fair. Didn't visit the cafe though it was open and serving the usual coffee and treats. Overall experience is positive though I wish the price reflected more on the completion of the exhibition. At this time, they're adding more installations. Considering how long it takes to create a fantastic little world, an annual pass seems very gimmicky. So the timed ticket is well worth it unless you can take advantage of the pass benefits. But definitely would return for another visit at another time to see any changes or new additions.

Great afternoon activity with whole family! Two adults plus 5 kids, aged between 10 and 19; all were amazed and loved it! Unbelievable attention to detail in the models. Loved the switch between daytime and nighttime views. Make sure you stay for the night display on Parliament Hill - a moving moment for sure! If you have been to many places in Ontario and Quebec before, you will particularly enjoy this. Can’t wait until the western and maritime displays are finished (although it may take a few years wait…)!

Amazing attention to detail in the miniature reproductions in the different parts of Canada. It will be interesting to see how it looks as additional areas are added.

Deeksha Garg

I’ve visited today , all I can say this is ultimate … detailing of all the models how they represent everything is awesome … beyond our imagination … each and every little thing is perfect ????

Dayna N

This was a fantastic "little" exhibit that was better than we expected! A great place for all ages, expect very small children. All of the Staff were friendly and helpful. You won't belive how much work and detail has gone into this exhibit! It's definitely worth going to.

Ian Szeto

Very impressive detail put to buildings, vehicles, and topography. Everyone and especially those who like architecture and transportation can spend lots of time enjoying the accuracy put into the models. Perfect antidote to spending too much time in virtual reality. Staff were also very warm and well informed

Roxanne Olé

My husband and I spent over 2 hours going through the amazing exhibits. It is so fun to see places that you recognize! Everything is so detailed, you could come back several times and still see new things! Each exhibit is on a 15 minute day/night cycle, so you can see the city in the day and night. There is a fun scavenger hunt for kids (we loved it as well). We had a miniature model made of us which we will have placed in NOTL, where we got engaged. Food in the café is catered by Mark McEwan and was very delicious. Highly recommend for all ages.

margaret bacchus

I couldn't believe my eyes . What an amazing experience this was for my entire family. Our age range was 10 years old to almost 60 years old and we all had an incredible time. This was 10 years in the making. I can't even put it into words. It's a must see for the whole family.

Sarah

This was a great experience which took about 45 min to enjoy...though I see why they offer seasons passes as there is sooo much to take in. I will definately be a repeat customer. I enjoyed the game they had to find the big red moose and all the trivia that the staff shared. All the staff were excellent at sharing interesting tid bits but never hovering. And the whole exhibit transitions from day to night! Incredible. My only feedback is that they need to light the little plaques they have explaining what area you are looking at so that they are always visible.

Marj Weber

This was truly an amazing experience on many levels. So interesting to see places we have visited and love, presented in such detail and humour. The skill and brilliance of it all is truly something for the creators to be proud of. It is so worth the visit!

scott constance

An incredible display of workmanship. They’ve created an amazingly detailed and whimsical world that people of all ages can explore and enjoy. Loved it. Do yourself a favour and check it out!

Mariella Vargas

Very well done!! Amazingly beautiful, highly recommended!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Little Canada. My husband and I really enjoyed it. It is incredibly well done, I've already told several friends and family members that they have to go. Will be back soon to take my daughter, very highly recommended!

Incredible place! A hidden gem in Toronto that not a lot of people know about. Every single staff member was so accommodating, knowledgeable, and passionate! Great way to spend a couple of hours and learn something new about the Canada ????????! Thank you very much!

Had a great experience. Lots to see great attention to detail. I thought it would have been a quick run through but my family and I were kept engaged by the staff pointing out things along with so many interesting details to look at. Will definitely go again.

Amazing! Simply a fun, informative and inspiring experience. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic throughout. It’s exciting to know that Little Canada was so fun for us, as seniors, yet will be equally fun for our kids and grandkids. A true family adventure!

Amazing detail. Looking forward to visiting east coast and prairies.

This is the best attraction in Toronto! Everyone in our party from 14-year-old boys to 75 year old grandma rated it and nine or 10 out of 10! It is so creative and fun and astonishingly high-quality work and amazing hosts/staff. You must go see this place! Love Canada!

Terry R. Miller

We spent over 2 hours visiting the 5 'little' areas and we can't wait for our next visit ! As a modeler myself (and not to the calibre of Little Canada people) I can appreciate the staggering amount of effort that went into these dioramas ... it is simply unbelievable when you look at any small portion of any of the layouts and think about it and then in your head, multiply what went into that one small feature and compare it to the whole display of that area. Hundreds of vehicles, all with headlights and taillights are in constant motion around the roads of the layouts; trains including freight, VIA, and GO Transit are continuously scurrying about. About how very real everything is, is an example of one of the Marriott's in Niagara Falls ... you wouldn't know that you were down by the Falls (Table Rock) in the real and looking up at the hotel ... we even picked out our room that we stayed in a few years ago, that's how real the displays are. Besides being breathtaking and absolutely real, it is educational as well and should be far more exciting and educational to young people than video games.

Carolyn Flanagan

This place is seriously incredible!

Yana Vorontsov

It was super beautiful and the details are incredible! I took my parents and they loved it. I was excited seeing the motion of the cities and the enthusiasm of the Little Canada Employees. Fell more in love with Canada and will definitely go back to see more destinations open up!

Ramy Saboungui

Absolutely spectacular work by the team that made this happen, took 10 years to build! Everything in this exhibit looks very real with some pieces in motion, including cars, ferries, and even installations inside of some the buildings. Try to spend about 10 to 15 minutes in each zone to observe scenes at night as well as the morning. I loved the tiny pockets of detail around most destinations. I got myself a Passport, I know I'll be back. This is a must visit with young children and don't forget to scan and place yourself inside!

Gary Williams

Attended with a friend, and we both agreed this was a wonderful attraction for all ages. The amount of craftsmanship was truly amazing. Seeing these locations from Ontario and Quebec replicated so accurately in scale models was a joy to behold. Each individual display is enormous and does a 15 minute day to night cycle. There are sound effects, moving trains, buses, cars, people and animals. Look for the smoking volcano in the Niagara Falls mini-golf dinosaur park. Staff are friendly, helpful, and non-intrusive. Safety standards are top-notch. I'm ready to go back tomorrow !

Angela Comella

This is such a neat attraction! The city scenes are so detailed and fun to look at it. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful! This was a great way to spend a morning downtown!

Peter Ely

Little Canada is an absolute "must see" for both locals and tourists visiting the area. An extremely well organized and run exhibit with interesting parts for everyone from someone simply wanting to better appreciate Canada through to the most detailed modeller or curious viewer who takes the time to examine every scene. Adult through child. The exhibits are stunning on a grand scale from a distance yet for those inclined the artists have been given the freedom to create hundreds (thousands ?) of individual close up scenes with both serious and fun subthemes that you will only discover when you take your time to savour the details up close. Little Canada could take you 30 minutes to 4 or 5 hours to numerous separate visits, to experience depending on your interests and levels of curiosity.

I was impressed.Fully .From start to the finish. How Tiny details reflect this reality . Everything moves, rides, floats, plays, drives.Everything looks real! What a fireworks! I think it's should be a must see attraction for the tourists. Big thanks to those who invented and created this world and still working on it. By the way, they have a funny game; Find Maurice) we missed 2 )) Will be returned)

What a delight! Toronto's finest new attraction! Get ready to be wowed!! Painstaking attention to detail. Impressive and whimsical! I promise to visit again!

Martin forget

Wow. Absolutely amazing miniatures. Love the commitment of the creator and his love for Canada! This will be a must see for foreign tourists and locals alike. I hope they will do well. I will definitely bring guests here again. I bought the 1 year unlimited visits passport which gives me unlimited access and gives 25% discount off regular price of tickets for up to 2 guests. All worth it. Will bring family members and great place to entertain clients. One more great thing to see in Toronto!

Brendan Bear

I'm never impressed by these sorts of things, but there's no mistaking the scale and painstaking effort that went into making these displays possible at Little Canada. Outstanding and wonderful. Great attentive and helpful staff to boot.

Kwong Chan

Our family had a great experience. The floor plan and spacing was great for the kids to move around and enjoy, like in a playground. The displays were fantastic. One can just stand in one spot and simply watch all the moving parts and changes to the scenery, and find something to wonder about. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We never felt rushed. The work area was open for viewing and the staff stopped their work to show and explain to the kids what they were working on. The littlization area/photo booth is worth trying and our 3-d pictures were emailed to us so we could think about the options. Thanks again to the staff.

Astonishing! You have to see it to believe it.

Absolutely fabulous. A love letter to Canada. Filled with wonderful and quirky details of Canadian life.

Marc Carruthers

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Little Canada, just over a month ago. As others have said, the intricate, detailed work is truly amazing. This must be a massive undertaking and I can't wait to see other regions of Canada on display. The staff were very helpful in answering my questions and in pointing out things that I probably would have otherwise missed. I remember one of the tour guides said there are some surprises thrown in for fun, so maybe some of the places don't really exist. This might be one of them! Can someone identify this photo for me? Is it a real place?

Jean-Maurice Boissard

(Translated) Old model maker and great lover of small and large trains and especially their history (the history of Canada was made with that of the railway), I was very impressed by your presentations: their frames, the quality of production , the staging, the courtesy of the staff ... I visited many other evocations in reduced models: Hamburg, Lyon, among others and sometimes participated. I still work in the field but on more modest projects ... I especially regret that given the quality and the formidable ambition of your project, you did not integrate a more international side by having at least French in the legends and the staff who however did their best. I would like to be able to go back soon and take a tour with a more technical aspect, as Hamburg offers the rest (VIP) ... in French ...

We just got back from Little Canada and it was awesome. My family had a great time. This is an excellent attraction for a birthday party or corporate team event. The first 5 exhibits are very compelling; so much detail and there's more to come! The staff were friendly and engaging with the kids. This is a high-end exhibit at a great price point . We will be back. Thank you Little Canada team!

What a disappointment. A lost opportunity to tell a story about Canada. There is very little information about what is displayed. Distillery District and long houses at Crawford Lake are not even marked, as are many other things. If you just like looking at little houses, toy cars/trains, which are masterfully done, and don't care about the history and story behind it, you will enjoy it. Dramatically overpriced.

Ariel Spalter

Incredible experience. The level of attention to details is absolutely remarkable. It's worth every cent.

Mike Murphy

Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing detail! Very impressed

gurpreet sahani

My family really enjoyed visiting Little Canada. This is one of the place where people from all the age groups will have good time. The minute level detailing on every city is simply amazing. Staff is friendly and take a pride in showing you some great stuff which you might miss. Definitely will visit again when they add more cities. Make sure you don’t miss the Canada Day celebration on the parliament hill. This will blow your mind.

Cindy Ray

This is a fun, timely and one of a kind tribute to Canada's many wonders developed with a great deal of passion and patience. I feel like as though we travelled and didn't even leave T.O. Little Canada engages both kids and adults alike! No pics as this really should be seen in person!

Max Fu

Great experience to have bird view for some large cities in Ontario and Quebec. Many culture and tradition knowledge explained alongside the scene. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The only complaint is that the Little Me 3D prints (which costed me $400ish ) have lots of white stains and make them look odd and ugly

Aaron Specht

Wonderful visit with the family. The amount of detail was amazing. No stone has been left unturned. The team was exceptionally friendly and answered all our questions and interacted with all the guests. The meticulous design needs to be seen in person! The one thing I would suggest though is the inclusion of binocular or opera glasses rental so visually-challenged guests can truly appreciate the intricacy of the attraction. Audio guides would be a nice future addition too. It was definitely a worthwhile visit, would come again. Am excited for the additional exhibits. If you do come getting there will be straightforward as the exhibit is centrally located steps from parking and transit stations which is a nice bonus.

Very cool experience. I've been waiting patiently for this place to open. It is a new attraction for Toronto and well worth the wait. The attention to detail is amazing. Very fun to experience a glimpse of our country after being unable to travel for so long due to the pandemic. Social distancing measures are in place and the facility is very clean. Would strongly recommend this spot for dates or family outings

Incredible! Searching for the red moose was a nice touch. My son and I were blown away by the whole exhibit. Can’t wait to see the east coast in a couple years!
