What a great area. Full of fall colors in every direction. A photographers dream. Perfect for walks anytime of the day before dusk. Paths all along the Humber River in east and west directions. Main path for pedestrians and bikes. Smaller paths along the water front and through the woods in different areas. The pedestrian bridges are amazing over the Humber river and seats to relax and kick back enjoying the sights. As soon as I entered I found a blue heron and white heron right away. Even though the parking lot was almost full I only seen maybe a dozen people in my travels. Parking is free at James Gardens entrance. You then have a choice to see James Gardens or Lambton Woods. The area is great for families and children or just a hiking day and photography. Many were enjoying a bike ride and all respective of people walking the same trails. You will want to see this area soon while fall is still present.

Very big park .... walking around in this park in some places you thing you are so deep in the forest but in reality you are next to the city. Takes your stress away with the scenery .. very high trees, quiet river and silence, .... magic

Hiked from the Old Mill subway stop. Takes about 30-40 minutes. I was longer because I was taking photos. There is only one public bathroom on the way its a porta-potty behind the playground at 43.65881352768391, -79.49792527604352 . Lots of squirrels if you take the path away form the water, geese, ducks, wood ducks along the waters edge. Was there in June, very few mosquitoes surprisingly.

Lots of gorgeous Oak trees, and sandy soil. Great view of Humber River. Spacious spacing between trees; airy, not claustrophobic. Walk down to Humber River and across the river to woods and thence to James Gardens in Etobicoke. Good parking. Most excellent for picnics due to it's nice view. Lambton Woods are certainly the most wooded area along the Humber River and the Pan Am Path. There are many small hiking trails that give you the opportunity to admire the ancient trees all around you. Those adventurous trails are also used by cyclists who can practise their talents here.

What I really want to know though..... is who on earth gave this place a one star? It's a virtual heaven in the midst a concrete jungle. Great little nature nook in the middle of the city. Has very diverse ecosystems for animals, birds and insects as well as plant life if you are interested in that. The woods are nice and secluded yet close enough to paved path if weather is poor. Has always been well maintained

Such a beautiful walk on a nice winter day. Makes me think of my childhood, so I made a snow angel. The trees, water and sounds of birds makes everything stress free. It is a great place for a walk as people respect the rules, walk on the right, pick up after their dog and don't throw garbage on the ground. If you can't make it out to the country this is the next best thing.

Best walkways for cyclists and walkers. The woods are old and beautifully maintained with natural care. Cyclists do not see the calm they are disturbing for the pedestrians who often have dogs. Cyclists do ignore the warnings to stay off the earthen pedestrian paths and do not dismount when crossing the Humber River pedestrian bridge. The paths and the bridge are harmed by the bikes. I used to bike there but not now.

Very beautiful spot for a stroll for forest bathing in nature. However it can get crowded during weekends I suggest weekdays are the best. There is construction in the back trails so some are closed off and are muddy. The city could provide better signage as I found out later there’s a short cut to Royal York Rd I’ve been here in the winter It’s nice and quiet stroll but the city does not maintained the trail so wear sturdy boots because of icy trails.
