Hi Banana

With the flowers and ducks and geese on the pond, the park is beautiful. There are (small) bridges that allow you to go over to the opposite side and see more. Coming in the fall is enjoyable because you can see the leaves dropping and the various colours of leaves. Also, photographing is a nice thing to do. Bike trails are available for anyone who wants to ride their bikes.

Allie Smith

Loved every part of James Gardens right from the entrance to the park you look past the parking lot and see so much beauty and colors. I had to take it all in before deciding on a place to park, I drove around 3 times in a circle taking it all in and then found a spot. Parking is free and a very busy area but you won't see many people as the park stretches out in many directions. Perfect spot for families with children. Perfect for walks, biking, jogging, hiking anything you enjoy outside and especially photography. It's the best spot to date for a camera and lens. My first stop was the small pond where you will find a large group of ducks and Geese. Very friendly and always looking for food as my camera seemed to turn heads when they seen it pointing at them.

I remember during the begining days of the pandemic, me and my mother would drop off my father to work and me and her would go to this park. Let me tell you, this park is bigger than what I thought and never gets old. But not only that, this park kinda hits personally because my parents got their wedding photos taken here and now, I get to see the images of their wedding photos in person. Honestly, an amazing park which is a go-to spot.

A really pleasant and beautiful area to walk. Scenic trails with good gravel makes it even better. Absolutely perfect for a one on one with nature. Going for a walk could be really wonderful.

Igor Kanshyn

It is the best park in the city, it is very spacious and goes along Humber river. It is very well maintained, you will always find different flowers there. This is a little pond with ducks. It is enough places to play badminton it any other ball game and just relax in a shadow of old trees. For bike ride lowers, there are long roads. You can also walk for long, for hours if you like. Flowering trees are amazing in the Spring.

BALAKRISHNAN S

Oguz Sarkut

Great place to have a walk or ride your bike. There is a trail to walk/hike only. Be careful about the bikes If you are walking on the asphalt way.

Byan Sahl

One of the nicest parks in the city. Great place to bring your canine companion for a nice long walk.

Trina Krystal

James Vrolyk

Beautiful gardens and very knowledgeable staff. Offers both manicured paths through beautiful planted beds and deep wooded trails. The Humber multi-use trail passes through this park and is a great cycling path, if a bit busy here.

Sebastian Kluth

James Gardens are situated on the Pan Am Path right next to the Humber River. You can take a relaxed stroll or sit on one of the many benches to take photographs of the inspiring vegetation. James Gardens are easily accessible via a parking lot which makes it easy to visit even for families with young children or elderly people.

Vish Persaud

Very nice park lots to see and do

Francisco Peralta

Awesome place to have a nice walk surrounded by nature and with minimal noise pollution. Flowers, trees, bushes. A lot to see and enjoy. The artificial lakes attract ducks and geese. Lots of room for kids to run and enough benches for adults to relax.

Raluca M

It's a great park with some beautiful scenery and lots of spots for formal pictures. Biggest issue is the bikers speeding down the paths without warning.

Aruna Hewapathirane

Lovely place to relax and go for a walk about on the humber river trail

Rebecca J

Such beautiful gardens and many paths. Although there was alot of people, the park is so big that everyone had room to spread out. We followed the creek/waterfalls around. I will be back for sure!

Aaron Lo

A great neighbourhood gem! The gardens are beautiful and well-kept, and the Humber River trail system is steps away, making this a great spot to spend the day outdoors.

Imran Shahid

Lovely park with open green grounds decorated with beautiful flowers. A very pleasant place to relax and go for a walk. Kids can play in the open area, interact with the squirrels and feed them nuts that fall naturally from the trees. The west side of the park has a small stream decorated beautifully with small bridges and flowers that leads to a duck pond. There’s a long scenic trail on the east side that goes along the Humber River, perfect for a walk or biking. It’s a great place to spend the day in the outdoors with your kids.

Stephane Demers

Nice quiet walk. I suggest you wear waterproof footwear if you go shortly after a rainfall.

Andrew D

Really solid, quiet peaceful clean park. Great place for a picnic, near the river and should stay pretty cool during the summer!

Eliza Figiel

Fun getaway from the city hubbub... very nice trails and park. There's lots to see and do. There are bike trails, a garden, pond, river along the trail, bridges... parking but its kinda limited. During peak hours hard to get parking.

Incredible place to take children/families on a hike. The trail goes for miles and is very scenic! You can ride bikes or walk off path. There are various places to see a variety of birds, take in a scenic view of the water and just enjoy the outdoors. Heads up: go early as it gets busy anytime after 10am!

Tanjina Sharmin

Awesome place to visit in Etobicoke area. Highly recommend for picnic.

James J

Great park for family picnics with tons of different displays of flowers all over the park during the summer months. Great for portraits, family photos or for those beautifull Instagram . It's also beside of the humber river trail so you have plenty of trails in the woods for those who likes bird watching or just plain old exercise In any season. As you may have guessed since it's beside the Humber river it is also great for trout fishing during the spring or salmon fishing or to watch the salmon run during the fall.

John McCain

Very beautiful and well maintained place. Free parking and no admission fee. It is real paradise. Walking is not very safe because lots of bicyclists not obeying speed limit of 20 km/h. Overall it is perfect get away place to relax and enjoy nature. Thank you for such good gardening job. All these flowers and plants are gorgeous.

Kinsa Sensei

Oh hello! This is an amazing area. Here, you will find some nice green space that connects to the Humber River Recreation Trail. Want to go for a walk, bike or just see nature, this place is for you. There are a few amenities around and you can go for hours if you so desire.

We stumbled here by accident while.on a daily walk, simply exploring a new route. Was so beautiful, seems popular though so would avoid it until after the lockdown.

sergio F

Nice place for a walk along the river.

Narisa Y. Mohammed

Very large park. Lots of nice picnic spots. Very beautiful variety of plants and trees. Many different layouts in the park e.g. pond, archways, huge trees, wooden bridges etc...all ideal for photoshoots in just 1 location...
