As I love close by We frequent the temple. It's a great place to pray at when you feel like it. They also have very good vegetarian food as well as snacks that you can pick. We were here for the Diwali lights and sound and it was magnanimous.

The architecture of this place is amazing and it is very calm inside when it is not busy. Both exterior and interior is full intricate details and very well maintained. The food they had for the wedding service they offer was good when we attended a wedding here. The food was tasty but I am not sure if they allow onion or garlic in the food because most temples like this are Jain.

It's a beautiful and huge temple, it is constructed without steel or iron but with marble and limestone. It's of swaminarayan, also has shiva and shri ram idols. All the architecture is handcrafted. The haveli next to it acts as a conference center and has a small vegetarian shop which has indian snacks (dholkla, fafada, samosa, veg puff, vada pav, kachori, namkeen all varieties), it also has a souvenir shop , which has many puja items, even mandirs are available, small games idols etc..

I'm solo travelling from Australia. Everywhere I go I always bring my camera and tripod because no body take photos for me, sometimes I asked someone to take it for me if there are many people around. When I visited this place it was quiet no body there and I took photos by myself using tripod and one guy come over and said who gave you permission to do photoshot here? He didn't even ask me it's for professional or for personal to remember that place and I try to explain but he didn't believe me. He kept saying that I'm doing photoshot for a brand like website, catalogue etc. Im not celebrity or model. Then I just left that place with disappointment. Not everyone using good camera to make money it's also for pleasure to take better pictures.

This is such a beautiful example delicate design and sharp architecture history of India. We visited this temple on the Diwali weekend. For the occasion of Diwali, it was very beautifully decorated and there were Chappan Bhog in front of every deities. The volunteers are friendly and guide the devotees well. They also see to that the restrictions are followed.

Went in as a tourist, just wanted to look around. LOVELY, free, maybe not great for kids you cant keep quiet. They ask you to remove your shoes and put them in some cubbies inside the entrance, and when you go upstairs they ask you to not talk to preserve the spiritual feeling.

Regardless of faith the unprecedented workmanship can only be truly appreciated when you visit. Located just off Hwy 427 in Etobicoke it is easily accessible. Once you enter the Mandir you will realize instant calmness and tranquility. The interior marble workmanship is truly unbelievable and breathtaking.

Not being able to take pictures is acceptable but everyone visiting the temple should also be told to follow the rules. It is a heaven for indians in toronto. There are so many activities happen at mandir everyday. The holly murti of swaminarayan is placed upstairs and the place where you can tell your wishes and expect them to be true is downstairs. However, the Swaminarayan sanstha is very prestigious and well known in entire world not because of just the spread of the religion but also for its charity works all around the world. Coming to this temple, the temple is built in very spacious areas with a lot of greenery. One segment of temple also offers indian namkeen and nashtas(snacks), taste of which is quite hard to get in Canada, purely indian. I personally loved Tikha Kamman. Apart from that, temple also sells wooden temple for prasthapan at home, which is too at very affordable prices. I hope that this would be helpful. Thank you.

Thanks to the BAPS charities for undertaking the Covid Vaccination drive. My husband and I had our first dose couple days ago. We were in and out in less than 30 mins.
