A fantastically historical spot. Beautiful and a great spot to admire the beautiful area. If you've never been under this bridge, do yourself a favor and visit. Read the signs, they have a great story to tell.

Angelicco Lopez

Free and awesome view.

Such a great, underrated, natural wonder

Stephen DUSTY Roberts

the best place to watch the reversing falls is right under the bridge and bring a camera!

Krista Whitehouse

Beautiful spot for a break, or for a walk. The Tillicum Narrows, known as the Canal of Camosack back in the 1800’s is located on the Gorge Waterway in Victoria, BC, Canada. Reversing rapids are caused by the narrow pinch point at Tillicum Narrows where a large amount of tidal water is forced through the narrow passage. Currents have been known to reach up to 9 knots (17km/h) here. The tides caused by the moon make massive amounts of water move up and down the gorge and this unique feature makes for white water rapids, waterfalls or a surging channel depending on the water height. A bridge was built here due to the narrow crossing. The current bridge is the seventh incarnation.

my current favorite swimming spot. no chlorine and few people. there's a swim dock here that is a great jumping off point and somewhere to lounge. there's also a small beach nearby and a rocky jumping in point a bit farther along the path from the bridge. be careful of the tides and current, especially when the falls reverse. when it's mid reversal the water is frothy and fast. quite something to see.

Such a beautiful spot to stop and relax. Under the bridge from the viewing platform on the Kinsmen park side of the narrows is a great vantage point for photos or daydreaming. The reversing falls are a rare phenomenon where the direction of the falls change according to the tide.

Yi Bao

Great natural view in a city.

Hilevy Mejia

I love going to chill under this bridge after work. While the sun is shining over. As people walk there dogs on the other side. It's beautiful to sit and watch people in canoes, kayaking, on paddleboards and rowing. While the water flows in the opposite direction! Don't forget to clean up if you bring anything with you. Remember the ocean deserves to be clean for all the animals you can witness such as seals, otters, and crabs of course! Take a friend and read the messages on the benchmarks around.

(Translated) Beautiful park with several points to rest and observe the sea. You have to walk around and the occasional deck to spend the day (Original) Bello parque con varios puntos para descansar y observar el mar. Tiene para caminar alrededor y algún que otro deck para pasar el día

The views from here are nothing short of spectacular, looking towards the inner harbor or just watching the water rush through the narrows. It's beautiful any time of day.

Mark Bendall

Picture was taken when the tide was receding down to .29m. The roar of the water was louder than the traffic above on the bridge.
