Memorial Park is beautiful. Its filled with very old tall trees and floral bushes. It also has a garden with a pond where you can walk around. There are bathrooms, benches, a walking path, and also a play ground. Great spot to have lunch or kill some time.

Not busy at all and a steep trail. If you have hiking poles, bring them, or grab a couple at the sign. Going down is not easy, but poles help a lot. Good a day hike.

Located in the heart of town, it's closeby to lots of shops and restaurants. Many establishments in the area close quite early in the day though. It's a nice park but you do need to look out for syringes, cigarette butts, questionable characters, etc. During windy seasons you need to watch out for falling branches and trees, which can be very dangerous.

Memorial Park in Hope is a great place to stop and take a rest and stretch your legs if you are travelling on the trans-Canada highway. This is a block of park, grass, and trees. There's also a playground and washrooms (during the day). It's a great place when you're traveling to stretch your legs and let the kids run. For us locals, it's great to walk in and it's right across from many businesses including the Blue Moose.

Lots of wood carvings, but as of August 2020 the statue of Rambo from First Blood has been added, right at the entrance across from the Blue Moose Cafe. We made a special stop this road trip just to see it!

I loved visiting this park as a kid passing through Hope. The tall trees, the field and the playground are all still excellent for unwinding after/during a long drive. There is a good public washroom, a great adventure playground, tennis and basketball courts that are usually free, and excellent coffee across the street at the Blue Moose.

I've grown up in this park because Hope is my hometown. I was one of the last children to be born in Hope. The most exciting part is the friendship garden because the pond and manmade fountain is very beautiful. The district works tirelessly to keep it litter free, clean and nice looking for tour buses. Living in this community can be difficult but with the help of the Hope District and other locals we can make this park look wonderful. Also certain events are held at this park on certain dates of the year, some are even annual like the Remembrance Day parade and the Car Show on Canada Day.

Last show of Hope Summer Concert Series - the slated artist wasn't able to make the date so the band that was hired to back her up stepped into the breach. Fantastic! Made up of fellows from Chilliwack and Abbotsford, one of whom is named Kazoni. Superb musicians and lively vocals. We had a great time and look forward to hearing them play again.

This is our local park and it is well equipped with updated gear last year. Expect it to be busy most sunny days but is a great meeting place for friends in the neighborhood. They have replaced the grass adjacent to the play area which make a nice place for a picnic. They also have two old cannons which the kids love and an old tug boat to boot.

Memorial Park is a great place to bring the kids or just to relax on a sunny day. There's a beautiful park under some amazing, enormous trees. There's a lovely Japanese garden, a huge field for playing, a bandstand and tennis courts. Special events are scheduled thought-out the year.

Unfortunately a lot of crackheads camp out here, it's dangerous at night. Otherwise a fun place to go and chill with the family, just do it during the day, when lots of people are out. Hope used to have a private security firm that patroled the area, unfortunately due to budget cutbacks they don't have the funds to keep their town crime free.

One of the cooler new parks they've built. So neat. My daughter isn't old enough (one) to go on the jungle gym yet. She loves the swings and watching the other children play. But this is just so cool I can't wait till she's older and gets to try it out. Playgrounds like this are great to help bring out the monkey potential in my daughter.

Fairly large playground and we'll maintained, they use small pebbles as their base, so the sidewalks can be slippery (if the kids are running). Lots of trees nearby so it is shaded if sunny. Nearby are coffee shops and restaurants and wooden statutes of animals.

This is a really nice park and my toddlers favorite spot to stop on our way home to kelowna from Vancouver. The public bathrooms are always open and have a change table, there is lots of green space and picnic tables. This is a perfect addition to a lunch stop while traveling through Hope.

Nice sized park, and well kept. Come on a Thursday afternoon for the food trucks. Nice sized Playground for the children. Washrooms available as well. Plenty of Memorials at Memorial Park, and trees provide ample shade. For Pokemon Go players, there's an Ex Raid here and quite a few stops Nearby is La Belle Patates, probably best poutine on the island. Burgers aren't too bad either.

Very nice public park, it has well maintained public washrooms, a nice playground for kids, tennis courts small band stand, and a cenotaph. It is also located on the same block as municipal hall. It truly is the center of downtown for everyone.

This is a wonderful little park that has absolutely astounding views all around it. The mountains are beautiful to look at all day long. Park is also well maintained for the most part when it comes to its facilities and garbage cans. Only downside is the homeless that are harmless for the most part.

This was the first stop on our coach tour of the Rockies. We got a half hour break to stretch our legs, buy some snacks and visit the washroom in the park, which was very clean and well maintained. We saw many nice wood carved sculptures and statues at many places in the park as well as in the small town of Hope when we took a short walk around. There is a small and beautiful Friendship Garden in one section of the Park, built by the local Japanese Canadians.

Good park for the kids. Swings. Slides. Great for "grounders" there was some dude drinking a beer with his buddy but they weren't at the kids area. He wasn't being annoying or anything. He was drinking cheap beer tho. If your gunna drink in the park at least drink craft beer. Have some class.

This park is a nice quiet place to relax and bring the kids. It has a large playground and tons of shaded areas which can help to disperse the heat especially during the summer periods. The heritage centre is close by too. The neighbourhood is also quaint and has a relaxing atmosphere to it. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for an afternoon or evening away from the hustle and bustle of life and some quiet time away from home.

Its a pretty nice park. Huge playground for the kids, large bathroom and i really like the japanese style pond. Its also got a huge field nearby for sports and games aswell as a tennis court in the far corner. The only problem i have with it is all the drug addicts hanging around(gets much worse in the afternoon/night). Thankfully there is usually police walking around on foot during events and busy times, so you can still feel safe there with your kids and stuff
