You will see the information of real people who are buying the products and services of Fisherman's Wharf Park (Tourist Attraction) near Esquimalt (Canada).
At present the firm gets a rating of 4.5 stars over 5 and the score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is virtually the best one, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place opinions when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of Park.
Fun. Trendy. Cute. We visited. Drank beer. Ate food. Toured around. Came back 2nd day for our own personal family photoshoot with hired photographer. Its busy but accessible by foot, vehicle or our fave transportation WATER TAXI! Restaurants and washrooms clean. Wheelchair friendly as mother in law was in hers.
Fun place. Always full so parking is limited. Great good.
Great park. Very colorful houses. Many food options. It is late in the season, that coupled with Covid means low traffic.
Our first trip to this popular tourist destination in Victoria ... WOW! Great views looking back across the harbour, a HUGE selection of diverse food options, easy walking distance to and from town center ... or, for a REAL treat, take the water taxi one-way!! Spend an afternoon on the wharf ... I insist????
It's a small place but with some restaurants. There is only one gift shop and a Whale watching company. Not the best fisherman wharf but just okay
It's been 15 years since my last visit. It has changed considerably. Way more commercial with more food choices. Sadly but understandably the docks with the house boats are off limits which was 50% of the reason to go. Barbs fish and chips were amazing, all of my kids devoured it
Great spot to sit and catch your breath while walking around James Bay.
We took the smoked fish plate and a Steam crab... I think it's a little too pricy... But it's fresh and good... The view is really nice with the seaguls and the seals coming around...
Super colourful lovely hangout place. Finding Parking on a busy day could be challenging.
Cute little houseboats. Lots of choices to eat and drink. Only a couple shops. Quite busy. Some wildlife; crabs, fish and a seal!
What an awesome spot to walk around and take in the scenery. The docks where the residents live are blocked off which is completely understandable. I would want that year-round without COVID as a factor. In terms of the park and boardwalk, they don’t really enforce much for social distancing requirements and some people are very hit-and-miss with respecting that, but it was still enjoyable. We got some pizza and beer from Pirate which was delicious! We’ll definitely be coming back. One note: please wear a mask :)
A great place to show people visiting the area. The houses are absolutely adorable, and the restaurants in the area a really a must stop to do on your travels. Walking distance from downtown by the ocean side walkway.
Cute little park, nice grass to sit on and have a little picnic!
The area is getting run down and weathered. Very crowded even though I was there during social distancing measures. Good luck parking ????
Eat drink people watch always interesting. Some ocean adventures available kayak or wale watch.
One can't help but love Fisherman's Wharf, in my opinion. It's got the right mix: walking distance from Victoria's Inner Harbour, various little shanties with good food choices, waterside eating, colorful houseboats, docked boats, clean public washrooms....
My husband and I had Mexican seafood dishes which were delightful and my son had barbs fish and chips.
Amazing place, Nice view and very good food !
Nice day to walk around the city and we ended up walking around Fisherman's Wharf park for part of the day. Plenty of people out enjoying their day. Necessary covid protocol being followed which was nice to see. Such vibrant colors drawing …
Used to be better...but as humans do..its been spoiled a bit. Still worth a visit tho!! Especially if you've never seen water houses.
Great place for a walk by sea and for some gluten free Fish and Chips at the Floating Fish Store.
The little oysters were over priced. For a wharf disappointed. The overall experience of the environment which is why it got a 4
Great place to walk. Good food.
A must see attraction for any tourist's. I've been here many times and it's still a great place to visit. See that in one of my upcoming videos on YouTube channel, Adventures to Happiness
Great place that offers good food plus some sea safari trips. Try to go their with some extra time as they have a shop that assures you to show whale in their ship.
Great location to wat and walk around, be aware you can no longer walk through the housrboats due to covid 19
Good spot for lunch! Very cute little floating shacks. Parking was super hard to find! Literally drove around the block a couple times. They have ice cream shop, pizza place, tacos, fish n chips , a souvenir store and tour shop. Washrooms are available on the docks as well. Free to visit!
Nice little park overlooking the harbour.
Bit crowded but overall a great place.
A really fun thing to do with family or friends. Have a good lunch and a nice walk to visit all the cute shops and little houses in the water
Great place to hang out and have a great meal. Very peaceful environment.
Absolutely spectacular this place is so beautiful I was fortunate enough to have a contract with my moving company gorillamoves.ca to move a lady here
Has a fun, tall slide with rubberized floor play material (very fun for little kids to climb), a few springy animal chairs and the ubiquitous Eiffel Tower rope structure. Nice partial views of the ocean and sometimes very quiet. Also very very close to the best seafood in Victoria (Finest At Sea) for a snack!
peaceful atmosphere itself especially during summer season. So Canadian landscape in all the corners???????? 정말 아름답다, 다만 여름에.
Highly recommended. Very authentic place. Delicious food @The Fish store.
Clean and fun. Bright colors bustling, with a vibrant crowd.
Just a funky fun place , love ths taco shop.
Busy little waterfront area with a bunch of outdoor restaurants and boathouses to walk around. The nachos were nothing special but the fish and chips were very good. There were a bunch of seals there that you could get chopped up fish and feed, that was pretty neat. Some of the houseboats were very interesting as well.
Cute waterfront with tons greats foodie spots. Amazing seafood!
Thought it was great. A little smaller than expected but worth the time.
What a nice little Wharf where artisan shopping and local food come together for a great experience. If you decide to visit, make sure that you give yourself ample time....the standard 45 minute double decker red tour bus drop off doesn't cut it. Give yourself 90 minutes to take it all in while you enjoy the food, sightsee, and shop.
Beautiful, clean and varied. Lots of restaurants. Colorful House Boats. Stunning.
Good place to visit! And fish and chips
Lovely area for fish n chips
It's a fun place to visit, especially if you haven't been there before. Several really good places to eat, including fish & chips, BBQ, pizza, Mexican, and ice cream. Nothing fancy; you sit outdoors at picnic tables and enjoy the sights, such as the colorful house boats, the fishing craft, and the tourists. Great for a family outing. Tough for wheelchairs, as there is a steep ramp down to it from the street and no accessible bathroom.
A must do. Take a water taxi over to Red Fish Blue Fish.
Lots of restaurants, got to listen to life music and walk down to see the boats and more quite place to sit and talk
It's cute. A bit busy during the summer, but enjoyable to people watch. Also you can view seals which I have seen on multiple occasions! You can walk among many boats to escape from the crowds, but there are some nice shops. Definitely worth a visit!
A lovely spot, if a bit crowded. The playground is great for the kids, the wharf has some really tasty food.
Fun location on the water.
Great on a sunny day! Lovely green space, many food choices down on the wharf and access to the Harbour Ferry.
Such a great place to walk and spend the day! Very cool!
Visiting this place was a much needed change for those feel stuck at home due to COVID. Some of the places are closed off but the restaurants are open. Tables are cleaned after customers have left to keep things sanitary. Weekends brings lot of people and social distancing can be difficult. Masks were recommended and most visitors wore them. All in all a good experience.
Love the colors, the little shops and houses. It's a cute spot
Always a nice place to visit.
Nice park to sit or being kids. Good shade where some picnic tables are. Had a nice time.
Nice place for an educational day for kids about the see life as you walk down the ward to check out the crabs , lobsters, fish and squids . …
One of my favorite places to visit in Victoria. The colorful house boats, the local food, and the location is just wonderful.
Love this place. Great food and amazing atmosphere ????????
Great to walk around. Lots of shops and restaurants. You can feed the harbour seals. You can buy the scraps from the oyster shop there.
Awesome place. Love all the boat homes.
What a place! Colorful little town. Beautiful. You can go for lunch. Bunch of places with delicious seafood.
I just loved it, it is very nice to walk around, you can see floating houses, great food, a little bit expensive, you can see seals, you can feed them.. was a great experience as a first visit
This place is soooo beautiful❤️ I can sit here all day just enjoy the gorgeous landscape in front of me. There are many nice restaurants nearby. So you can come down here, take some walk and dig in some tasty food. If you have some free time in afternoon, then you should come here to enjoy the fantastic time.
My Dad and I went here. We had the best sea food we have eaten. Really cool Atmosphere ,music to sometimes
Very cool experience! Barb's fish and chips are amazing! Highly recommended
fun place with eclectic food options for when the weather is nice!
So many places are close...but its good..
Good eateries but not a whole lot else to do
Really cool place to visit with family and friends. Parking lot is usually full but if you drive a few blocks away you may find a spot for free (good for 2 hours). Not many, if any gluten free options for food.
This place is so nice. Love the vibe , colors and food options.
Great colorful spot to visit by the Harbour with a lot of food shops, personal residences, and boats. It’s a fun place to visit and grab some food. There is parking on site or you can walk here from downtown. Not a lot of parking. Wheelchair accessible entrance.
Love this place. Great food and lovely location. Beautiful boat houses to look at and a fun place to stop for a bite to eat.
OMG you have to taste their FISH...best in Victoria!!
Must visit here if you are in Victoria BC. Not too many restaurants by good ones. Some of the paths to residential areas are closed (due to COVID, I assume).
Beautiful spot for a quick walk around and some pics and some snacks if you are so inclined.
Cute little tourist trap! And the prices of food there aren't nearly as high as you'd expect for a tourist destination.
Great place to buy directly from the fisherman who caught your meal, when in season.
A great place to enjoy some great fish and chips. Its quite busy but it worth a visit.
The food and ambience was fabulous! I had the Chicken Quesidia from the Mexican place and the most delicious French fries seasoned with garlic and rosemary with dipping sauce from another food place (first one down the ramp and to your right). My furbaby and I enjoyed a picnic in the park over looking Fisherman's Wharf, walked along the board walk after to the Inner Harbour. We saw a seal eat a Seagull. Loved the boats, planes, ocean side, looking at all the condo's and landscaping. We walked back to Fisherman's Wharf and listened to quiet music laying in the park where we had our picnic. A great doggo date and we met really nice people!
Really nice place, not so nice places
Fun place. Eateries and souvenirs abound.
wow, its gorgeous! we walked from downtown Victoria and it was totally worth it. it's fun to walk along the decks and there's lots of food options. we got some delicious oysters at the fish store.
Very cool little float community with food venues and places to get kyaking or whale tours. Also a place to buy fish to feed the local seal population and there are some otters also.
Perfect for a walk to explore this area. Many places to stop for a snack.
Many little food places, harbour tours, whale watching etc but it lacks something to do more than just food. Long hone is undersea gardens and other attractions in the area. Nice when warm and calm.
Interesting lifestyle. So beautiful and advanced
It is worth visiting simply for the floating homes alone however the other sights are worth the walk or the water taxi ride.
Lot's of interesting floating homes and delicious food.
What a cute place to visit!! Great food as well!
Fish and Chip was good and the views are beautiful.
Cool place to visit and go have some fish and chips!
Nice spot to see the Victoria harbour. We took the little water ferry across to the Empress Hotel. Then watched the Ferry Boat Ballet twirl in the harbour with music. Recommend.
A short walk! Awesome service "good food and cold beer" at the Smoke n Anchor. On your way out pass by Sweets, The herb garden and Finest at Sea through the park.
A nice place with plenty of outdoor seating with about half a dozen food places for meals along with an ice cream place and candies. Parking can be tough.
Nice place to stroll around
Great spot to go for a bite. SeaTaxi makes all the difference.
Beautiful sunny day & loved the mini donuts.
Beautiful playground. Easy Parking access
A must see while in Victoria. Clean, with lovely cafes and a nice gift store.
So cute! We got cod fish tacos from the beer place and they were sooooo good ????
Great salmon tacos at Puerto Vallarta Amigos. Nice atmosphere and sunny!
Love this place so much !
Love this place! Miss the seals though❤️
Nice place to walk around.
Very beautiful place and I like the ice cream
Barb's makes a good fish 'n chips. Clam chowder is great. Fisherman 's Warf is a nice place to visit. All the residents have floating colorful houses.
Very relaxed atmosphere, had delicious oysters here! Saw many vendors for whale watching & kayaking
This is a really nice place to either take your family or go and hang out with some friends. There's something for everyone with many restaurants and many choices. Its nice to watch the water taxis ride in and out, picking up and dropping off tourists and locals. I will have to come back here!
Great place to go for lunch, dinner and/or ice cream then walk the calories off along the inner harbour to take in the views. Food is a bit pricier than at other places in Victoria, but all vendors have excellent offerings. It is to be expected as the experience of eating outside on the floats makes this a unique thing to do in Victoria. As it stands, tables are set outside and well distanced from one another, some of them are covered and some uncovered, and most vendors serve their food on 100% compostable wares. I highly recommend a visit, you can check out the menus online for most if not all of the vendors too so you have an idea of what there is on offer and prices prior to heading out. It is Robbins pay parking right at the top of the access ramp to the doc, 2 hrs will run about about 2.50 at current rates, and there are public washrooms about 50m down from the main restaurant area. Currently, masks are recommended but not mandatory due to the wharfs being outside.
Lots of spots for a meal or treat, cute houseboats, great views. Good for family or solo.
Very nice place to go for lunch, dinner or just walk around, people still live in their floaring houses and you can even taken the Water racionalista that will time you around the locations. Come and visit. Really worth it. 10 minutes walking from the cruise ship pier and 5 minutes walking to go downtown from there. Very centric.
Fun. Trendy. Cute. We visited. Drank beer. Ate food. Toured around. Came back 2nd day for our own personal family photoshoot with hired photographer. Its busy but accessible by foot, vehicle or our fave transportation WATER TAXI! Restaurants and washrooms clean. Wheelchair friendly as mother in law was in hers.
Good place to grab some food and enjoy the peacefulness of the waters. It’s smaller than I thought and we visited just after lunch so there was really nothing left to do here. We spent 10 minutes top.
Very interesting here. Went on tour of inner harbor today. Get to go try some food next. Great atmosphere fo sure!
I picked a great day for a wonder. Very cute place.
Great time with the kids. Went in for breakfast or lunch great ambiance and people are not packed and within safe distance. Good for fish and chips, ice cream, burgers, salsa or just a stroll around the block
Beautiful place !!! Stopped here on our Alaska cruise
Amazing sea food , service a little slow. Shopping is great at the gift shops , can bargain for a deal . Friendly Korean stores .
Beautiful place to enjoy alongside sea. You will get the freshest seafood there.
Lots of space for social distancing
Not much to do here but eat, so it's a good place if you're hungry. Outdoor seat is plentiful. There is one store to shop in but it was closed the weekend we went. …
Really cool to check out but it is very small and pretty busy. I was expecting it to be a bigger market but its a few food stands. Very cute though!
Good food and upbeat atmosphere. Would recommend the fish and chips there. Multiple outdoor tables with shade available to bring your take out food during covid season. Nice display of ships on the other side. Paid parking.
A perfect place for rest and eat some good fish! There is a market inside, where you can have a lot of different meals. The view is also amazing!
Really cool place to check out! Restaurants and walking paths. They have the nicest portable washrooms ive seen in a public park.
Quiet due to COVID, so it was a great opportunity to take some really nice photos.
Beautiful, Serene, place to eat or shop with sea life all around you
Great please for sightseeing.
I knew this park when it was a dry, scratchy, uncared for playing field. Now, green grass, a help-yourself community herb garden, playground for young children, food vendors on both sides, and it's a dog park from 7:00 till 9:00 am! Really lovely.
Fantastic atmosphere for a tourist to stroll and take in the scenery, the many foods, tours and all amenities that go with a fisherman's wharf. It is not only a working area but a residential setting for the ample colorful houseboats right in the middle of everything. Parking is small and an ever lurking meter man is always nearby to catch that 'illegal" parker. Lots of little ferries to bring you across the harbour. Barb's fish & chips are must to try out. This area gets extremely busy during the summer so be ready.
First time visiting Victoria and this was one of my favourite spots. Really cool place with lots of options for food and drink. Really is a one of a kind spot.
If you are in Victoria, don't miss this beautiful place.
Quaint little place with shops and seafood restaurants.
A very nice to visit and there are several restaurants for a lunch or dinner. Allocate 30 minutes. There is paid parking.
It was nice lots of places yo get food
Great spot to visit to walk around and maybe grab a quick bite to eat. Floating businesses and residences are interesting. Overall an experience that should be had.
Very calm place to eat. I loved!
Fantastic place...wish more coastal towns would have places like this... lots of food vendors.. beautiful float houses
Beautiful floating market with beautiful floating houses. Fun place to hang out and watch the seals. Always full of people. Great food and great vibes!
We have been coming here since it was actually a fisherman’s wharf. Now we enjoy taking the kids there for a nice meal and enjoying the atmosphere.
Amazing place! I love spending my Saturday there!
Great day for fish and chips at Barbs!
Cute area with plenty of food shops and a few stores. Closes from dusk to Dawn.
Shrimp Tacos is the best ????
We really enjoyed our visit. We parked at the near public parking (very cheap). We brought our dog (great decision, people stopped to pet him, there were water bowls everywhere, a very friendly dog area). We had the best fish and chips. Overall, a great stop in Victoria!
Beautiful place to visit while in Victoria.
Was good place but those foods are not really various to choose. Even closed very early time. We couldn’t get the oyster. But the seafood pizza was pretty nice! Very windy about 6pm. Please get your windbreaker for there. And take the sea taxi. Great experience.
Scenic Place- Candy shops and many some fast food restaurants too.
Most places were closed, not a good place to visit in the winter; the houses were interesting though
Very cool place to check out for an hour or so. The colour houses are picturesque and the shops offer decent seafood choices. Must see during a Victoria visit.
One of the most charming attractions in Victoria - piers with beautifully painted boathouses, views of Victoria inner harbor, with several restaurants on water (fish n chips, icecream, mexican food etc), seating area, fishing boats docked …
Great food, beautiful buildings and loved the animal life.
Afternoon tea harks back to that time and sets it apart. Its great when you are in Victoria BC
Cool place for a walk, with beautiful views of the harbour.
Fisherman's Wharf has very lovely and lively atmosphere. There are many good places that serve affordable food and you will be able to see the seals. Go there and chill with your food.
If you are looking for simple and delicious street food, you are in the right place. We enjoyed 4 different meals and will be happy to come back again and again!
A must see place. Simply beautiful
Great place to just relax and grab a bite to eat.
Great place to eat fresh and affordable seafood. Lots of options and places to sit. Can get a little busy on hot days but it's worth it.
Quaint little place for a quick stop. Full of colors and floating houses / shops. It becomes way too crowded early in the afternoon so my is better to visit as early as possible. There is a nice gift shop to buy some souvenirs and a variety …
Such a vibrant place to visit. Parking is available and lots of food options.. (they can be expensive)
Great experience & great food. Awesome Mexican live music at mexican seafood restaurant. Enjoyed salsa dance too.. visit every Friday till September to enjoy live music.
Beautiful setting and really good food options.
Lots of food options and places to sit. The view is lacking, however the ambiance is white nice. Masks are not required on the wharf itself, but may be required at some of the shops.
This area is a must ????see. Lots of charming boats and food boutiques to explore for fish.
This place is amazing! Or at least it was. Then they decided to take the privileges away from us that they've allowed us for so many years. We used to be able to come here and feed the seals and it was such a awesome experience for not only the parents but the kids especially. Last year they decided they were going to create a barrier so that we couldn't feed them anymore. There was no reason given. That was the one biggest reason we continue to visit the Fisherman's Wharf. The food is very good and the atmospheres friendly. One day I hope to own a float home right there :-)
Amazing location for a quiet walk on the docks and photography. Sundays at 9am is great! Nothing but the sounds of birds and ocean air. We will certainly return on a sunny day.
must stop. can get mad windy
What a cool place! It was so pretty here! The shops were interesting with great prices! Got some great souvenirs! Fun to see homes on the water too! Lots of choices for food! Lots of fun!
Really cute, but bloody expensive.
A lovely trendy area. For a romantic or just a change of pace evening, take the water taxi over from one of its many locations and have meal outdoors on the wharf. We did Barb's Fish and Chips.
Super neet place. Love it.
Cute collection of boat houses. Several tour groups have booths thier and a few restaurants. Nice boardwalk near there that follows the shore line.
Surprising colorful wharf in Victoria. Should be amazing in summer time
Great place to grab a bite to eat by the water
Such a fun spot to visit for lunch. The floating houses are charming and the selection of food is great. Barbs fish and chips is highly rated and definitely lived up to their reviews. From 4pm-5pm 'The Fish Store' offers buck a shuck ($1 per oyster)
Cute little tourist trap! And the prices of food there aren't nearly as high as you'd expect for a tourist destination.
I love this place. You can do some seal watching. A good chance for Instagramming some photos. Restaraunts and takeaways with varied food. A really cool place to hang out for a while.
Beautiful family outing.
Great place to run around with kids, there's some good shade when it's hot but the playground is a little sparse in the equipment is dated. There's some great food done at the Wharf.
Can be pretty crowdy but the food and view was great. Aside from some tasty food options, there are also some nice little shops for some souvenirs if you are visiting.
It’s such a beautiful place to bring family and gather. Love the park and atmosphere. Truly recommend visiting!
Cool place to see, but not sure if I would recommend this to be visited in November. We got there at 11 am (time that restaurants should be opening) and everything was closed. We waited for 30 min and it was still totally dead... we heard that in the summer is better.
I loved this place. Lots of good food with amazing view and environment. I wish we had something like this in Vancouver!
Even if lots of places are closed. It's alway great to eat at Barb's and watch the port with the salt water breeze.
A wonderful place to enjoy the scenery and spend time with my kids. Definitely not as busy with the pandemic in effect and lack of tourists, so I try to see it as a moment to connect with locals and the community instead of being bored at home.
Such beauty. These floating homes were stunning.
Went for lunch, it was awesome! Busy, but not too busy. I had the seared wild tuna burger...very yummy!
Cute. Nice to see. Very touristy
The wharf is home to many eclectic and colourful floating homes with an assortment of small container plants and flowers. There are several eateries, such as Barb's, that offer a variety of foods and then top off your meal with soft serve or hard ice cream or sorbet at the ice cream shop. If you're lucky, a harbour seal might poke it's head up and entertain you.
Cute park with a lot of food options. Loved the Tacos!
Victoria is a city of parks and gardens. The views from the small knoll are gorgeous and the gardens are lush and full of life. When the wharf itself is bustling and busy, this little gem of a park offers a quiet spot to consume fish and chips, ponder life or just take a few minutes of peace and quiet.
A must see place when visiting Victoria. Great little shops to have food. You can take the water taxis there for $7.50 per person which is also a fun experience.
Very unique place to see Small venders, with lots different items, Places were you can sit to eat all the sea food you want Views of the boats, yats and wildlife it's just at aww. Other areas so close just walks away. Cattle point.
Fishermen's wharf is definitely a must if you go to Victoria!
This is why I love victoria in general!!
Very nice place. We saw a seal swimming too. There’s also a washroom in the wharf. It seems like a lively place and it’s near the Breakwater District. There’s also a water fountain beside the whale watching stall.
Loved this place. It has cute little restaurants and ice cream spots all floating on this beautiful wharf. Vibrant colors, friendly people, great ambiance. The only thing is if you drop something it's going straight into the water (I dropped my bank card and it slipped through boards, never to be seen again).
One of the cutest places ever, reminded me a little bit of Amsterdam's vibes. Delicious options to eat, such as the famous Barb's Fish & Chips. Take the boat from there to save a walk back to downtown and enjoy the landscape. It gets pretty busy but still manageable to find places to sit. Delightful corner of Victoria with the gorgeous boat houses!
Nice walk from the inner harbour, capped off with a lunch.
Must-visit if you’re touring Victoria. Colourful house boats and a lovely wharf is a delightful experience for the family. Lots of food options too, beyond the expected fish & chips.
Nice little attraction. Nice walk from Downtown Victoria
Cool spot. Bright floating homes, boats and unique tasty spotsto grab a bite.
So pretty. Lots to eat. Prices ok for the unicity of the place. Does not provide a long activity. But the walk to get there along the port of Victoria is awesome.
A great place to relax and unwind. Not to mention all the different choices of food if you're hungry. What more could you ask for. The smell of the ocean breeze and the light rustling of the trees. This location is amazing no matter what the weather entails.
A must in Victoria! The tiny homes on the water are each so unique plus great food options. If you look close enough you might even see a raccoon along the water edge!
Quick stop as their isn't much to do but the pier was clean.
Even on an overcast day this place offers an easy stroll down the boardwalk. You can buy live crab, lobster, and shrimp. Or you can have fish and chips, while chilling right beside the water.
Cute area overlooking the water. Stopped to pickup the water taxi. Many places to grab a bite to eat, get some sweet treats, or a cold beverage while overlooking the water. Nice playground for the kids to play at too!
This is a must see place! Order some food and enjoy your grub on the wharf!
Very nice park with a playground for kids. There are several different food vendors on the docks, including Barbs fish and chips which has been a local favorite since 1984. Fresh seafood is also sold, both from a shop and off of fishing boats.
A nice little walk along the ocean to get here from downtown, lots of cute little food options and even some places to buy little Knick knacks, local art and pottery and such! A nice place to just walk around, check out some of the privately owned houseboats
Absolutely lovely place to get a bite and a beer. The eateries are on floating houses and have something for everyone. From pulled pork sandwiches to authentic fish tacos, gelato and fish & chips. Walk around the wharf and check out the floating houses, but make sure to stay away from private property as people actually live there!
Awesome place
Cute little food court floating on water. It's good to have a meal and take some pics????
Such a beautiful spot to check out! We took the Water Taxi over and it was such a nice ride!
This is one of my favorite places in Victoria! I really like the colorful dock houses, which gives a bit of Venice feel. Sadly, there was restriction this year against walking around the houses, but you can still walk around few restaurants (on dock). If you are lucky, you can also see seals!
Great place and great food. Fish and chips or crabs are the best you can get there.
Nice place to walk around and have good lunch. Ferry taxi to this place was good ...
Quirky colourful houses and a selection of stalls to pick up food from. A little bit further from downtown than expected (esp walking in the heat!) so i would recommend hopping on a water taxi on your way back.
In a sunny day in Victoria it is a the place to be and enjoy halibut fish & chips served from a floating restaurant. Faceing the see and the boats. Than take the see taxi and navigate to other enjoyable places.
Was fun to walk around and I like the famous fish and chips while I was there.
Very quaint, cute place to have lunch. Love all the houses on the water. Very colorful. We wanted to visit the Blue Crab but they were not open until dinner time. Easy to walk to the wharf but consider taking the water taxi from the other …
Lovely place as usual.
Awesome place to just grab a bite to eat and relax!
A nice experience to go to Fisherman's Wharf Park. Lots of different food vendors to choose from. If you go during peak hours prepare yourself to wait and line and look for a table. The food is good and the experience of eating and supporting local is worth it!
Cute place to visit, classic touristy spot but has good food options as well defs worth the visit
I only visited this place after the 4th time I came to Victoria, and it was an amazing find! Those floating homes are absolutely amazing, what an incredible living experience that must be! It is an awesome place to eat if you like seafood, and you can buy fresh crabs for a great price. You can arrive here by taking the water taxi from the marina in front of the Fairmont Empress hotel, or you can walk/drive there.
Not much than the busy downtown atmosphere. We got food from the Mexican place and not very good for the price tag.
it was very happy to visit here. my first time
Lovely place with many different lunch options and stuff to buy.
Beautiful place!! We love it! Water houses and restaurants!
Touristy but still nice? I had fish and chips from Barb's. It was decent.
Great little place to check out they've got a couple places you can grab a quick bite and its just overall a very neat place to see.
Very nice park to walk around and have some fish and chips.
Close to inner harbour, excellent destination for a foodie...Especially for the sea food lovers, fresh sea food available ...One can watch floating homes, fisherman boats ...Could be a novel destination fir many...
Tourist trap. Small and not super interesting. Fish and chips was good though.
Plenty of parking but get there early. Lots of tasty food options and ice cream. You may even find a beer or two if you're looking ???? Oh and the scenery is spectacular if you like the ocean.
Nice place to bring the kids. Great fish and chips. The new rule not permitting to feed the resident seals is a black mark. Hope the city reverses this.
Such a beautiful spot. I cannot wait to try all these foods!
Beautiful park in Victoria, BC.
Great place for some views of the city escapes, fish and chips and to go on a whale watching tour. A must see place in Victoria, along with Chinatown.
Been twice! Very good food and vybz!
Busy with Tourists but always so nice to visit
Nice little gem on Vancouver Island not too far from the BC legislature. A wharf with a marina full of different sea going vessels of varying sizes along with residential house boats. A lot of restaurants offering a wide assortment of foods and a great place to bring the kids or in my opinion to spend a lazy Sunday. I tried a little bit from as many places as I could, fish and chips, pizza, Mexican and even the mini donuts and kettle corn. There is a lot of pay parking available and a lot of outdoor seating available. I enjoyed my time here and recommended a visit to the for anyone who finds themselves on the island.
If you are wondering: It is a food court. Within a small fisherman village you can't really explore since those houses are private properties. Really nice place with its own atmosphere in Victoria: A must go for a quick (And original) meal.
Loved it! Your photographs turn out beautiful.
Kind of a disappointment. Nothing special here at all. Expected far better for a seaside village in the capital of British Columbia. humph.
Fantastic time! So pretty and we'll kept!!!
Don't expect the whales to jump around you. Will just show whales from 200-300 meters as they are endangered animals ...but it was worth going. And the person on deck was awesome and the owner was so cool .. I would recommend going there.
Barb's 4 the win. She's not fooling me that everything on the tray is compostable however.
Great food and cute houses. Watch as planes take off right of the bay next to you.
Had a fantastic time on the Wharf. Great food and shop selection.
A beautiful and serine view. Because of winter not much hustle and bustle. But we enjoyed our time. I am very amazed to see floating homes. Very well kept beautiful properties.
Great place to visit..of friendly. Great food and views.
Very lovely place for all ages. Yum food with so many options. The Mexican food was delicious. I had guacamole and chips with crispy tostada (chicken and pork) and pork was my fave.
One of the best botanical gardens I have ever seen
The Fisherman’s Wharf Park is a very neat and unique, especially if you are experiencing the coast for the first time. The colours are amazing and the atmosphere is market like in feeling. A few places to eat and a quick glimpse at some …
A fun way to spend a few hours.
If you want to see the floating house's in Victoria than this is the best place for him
Lots of great food outlets and sunny patio tables on the wharf. But don't feed the Harbour Seals waiting for handouts.
When compared to places like White Rock, Richmond (Steveston), and even Coal Harbour, Fisherman's Wharf Park in Victoria is so much better. Great food and surprisingly low prices (unlike most every "tourist trap" in BC.
Quaint location very pretty area, very crowded though can be hard to move around in a group. Lots of restaurants, didn't eat there though there was no seating available, and found crowd overwhelming.
Beautiful little floating houses :-).
Nice place to hang out
Beautiful place with great fish and chips.
I really love this park. The city has transformed what was once very ordinary into a great park, returned in part to its natural state. A perfect park for a picnic, close to Fisherman's Wharf and Finest at Sea.
A cute little wharf to see floating B&B super cute. Good food and yummie slushies not whole lot to do but still a cute little place to check out ????
There isn't much to the park itself besides a harbour themed play area and some grassy hills but the main attraction is the actual wharfs. The houses on the wharves are cool to check out and the different eateries are all good (but naturally overpriced). There are some good pathways to walk around the park if you just want to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the ocean.
Beautiful place to hangout on a sunny day
We were there early in the morning so the stores were closed and it's just the cruise passengers meandering around. Just by the look at it, it's a very small business community on float homes.
Very pretty but very touristy. Good food and nice to visit. Children loved looking at the floating homes.
Beautiful and colorful. So interesting to see the homes on the water. We just strolled through but I'd like to take more time again and explore.
What a cool place to visit and have lunch. Food was great and you can't beat the scenery.
A wonderful almost hidden treat to visit when exploring the Victoria downtown harbor. Use the passenger ferries or walk from any of the hotels. Plentiful selection of great food and beverages, and a family friendly, clean location.
A fun place to visit. Unfortunately, we didn't see any seals when we were there at noon.
My wife and I had visited the Wharf many times while on vacation in Victoria. Very beautiful and a must see
Nice place to sit and have a snack with a friend
Beautiful place to visit in very colourful area.. fish and chips and ice creams are awesome!!
Great place to eat fresh fish! I recommend the fish store! For fish and chips!
Most of the time pretty busy but good food and a really good whale watching tour with very nice people
Great spot to stop for a bite to eat or a drink or two. Right on the water.
Beautiful scenery. Not too crowded. The food that we had at Barbs was not great however.
Great place to hang out with lots of great food options without being overly expensive.
Beautiful walk and great day. Stopped for some fish and chips!????
Super busy place but lovely vibe
Stunning ambience, great food!! Water taxis to Old Town a must
For me, it was an unexpected find. I had no idea this was there until the habour tour dropped us off and told us we could grab any tour boat or taxi to get us back to downtown. For that, we could have paid $8.50 each instead of $30 ea for a #harbourtour we didn't finish. The wharf is so colourful. The food at The Fish Store was fantastic. They the chowder. Super tasty.
Best part of this location is - FISH and CHIPS. Go and get it and enjoy. Note: Please check the timings and their season of operation. In winter and fall, there are few shops and restaurants which were in operation. You get a stunning view of the boats and docks as well. Try to get there at golden hour (when there is a golden/warm hue in sunlight) to enhance the viewing experience,
Beautiful area. Too bad you can't look at the peoples homes due to COVID-19 but still worth the visit
Unexpected and interesting. A short distance from the downtown Inner Harbour and there's a walkway along the water (about 25 minutes walk). Transit bus #2 will also take you there. Super busy in high season, nice relaxing in off-season with only a couple eating places open. Still, fresh fish, fresh air, great harbour traffic views - taxiing seaplane, water taxis, ferry traffic - and wonderfully bright and constructed floating homes. Highly recommend!
Colorful marina, nice walking paths and some good restaurants
So colourful & unique! Beautiful little floating houses and all the food here is great. Highly recommend the salmon burrito from the Mexican food place. Soooo yummy.
Beautiful place to have a walk and patio time in a sunny day.
Me and my friends came down here on the weekend and it was very nice to be down there. The water looks very clean. The ice cream there is very appetizing and they have many treats and variety of candies that I love. The restaurants there are very delicious I like the seafood and the cotton candy of course. I like the look of the houses all together and I thought it was very cool that there were floating houses there.
Worth seeing. The boat houses are very colorful and the environment is very clean. A bit commerical though.
Vibrant place. Found difficult to get a spopt seat during.lunch hr..incredibly busy
I suspect this is a lot more fun in season. With the numbers of people wandering about it did seem a bit of a lost opportunity though. Still a pretty part of a walk around the inner harbour.
What a lovely fisherman's wharf, and the cool little water taxis are so cool.
This place was something that you would see on a postcard. It was absolutely beautiful.
Very cute tourist attraction in Victoria. We came in the off season, so everything was closed. It looks like there is a lot of restaurants. I am looking forward to going back in the summer when they ate open!
Great seafood and ice cream you may see an occasional seal
The Sea, the yatches, the view, the boats, the people, the ambiance and the delicious fish and chips. All worth the visit.
It's a great place for a walk and scenery. Sometimes the seals are around and very friendly for all members of the family, even the animals....and lots of great choices for snacks, meals and treats! So if your thinking about it, don't think too long? Or you may miss out on a great experience?
Beautiful attraction in Victoria ! Very nice sunny day as well ! We all had a long and great walk together ! Absolutely loved it ! Fall is the best season in Victoria !
Possibly because this time of the year is NOT when most people go on vacations, almost every store was closed. There was only 3 other groups other than us for the one hour we were there and only 2 or 3 restaurants open. It was extremely empty and the dock kept on rocking on the water making it hard to just stand still or sit still. Definitely will not recommend. Maybe give it a try in the summer if you really want to.
This place is super cool boats and sea life what more can you ask for.
Quaint little wharf with actual house boats and four to five restaurants. We did get a quick visit from a seal. The weather was raining at the time but the restaurants provide a covered place to sit while you eat.
One of the must go place in Victoria. It's got that market place vibe except it is on the shore. We originally got there to get fish and chips but it was the day the heat warning was issued and we were soooo exhausted from the sun so we ended up just having only cold beverages. I would like to go back to try food and dine in again.
Seemed totally fine, mostly sells on location from the looks of it though.
Nice for a quick visit, go there with the taxi boat!
Best fish and chip I have ever had
This is a very colourful and interesting place to explore. Nice little shops and restaurants along the water. Overall very nice place spend an afternoon
A positive atmosphere as you walk amongst the cafes, stores and houseboats at Fisherman's Wharf. A
Beautiful place to visit. If your coming to visit Victoria BC, then this is a must stop by before you leave here. It's so beautiful, peaceful. There is a water taxi you can take to different parts of Victoria. You can eat really yummy food. They have icecream. Seafood. Whale watching. Paid parking. Lots of parking. There is a park near for the kids to play. An absolute come check out this place.
Always love the different mix and vibe here
Such an adorable place ! Lovely to walk around, eat, and drink! Also love that there is many options to order from and a family friendly environment. Very quiet and busy place depending what time but the afternoon was full of people. Lots …
Great place to stop for a lunch floating on the harbour with great ocean views. You can always Take a kayak tour at Kelp reef or Whale watching at Eagle wing, either way great spot to check out
I just love the beauty of the place. The location was great. The food served here is exceptionally well. They have whale tour also from here. Must visit with family. If you want to taste the local fish food then definitely it is a must visit place. Will definitely recommend to all of my friends and others.
Beautiful atmosphere, and a nice friendly community. You can also buy sea food here, raw from the fishermen or cooked from the restaurants. You can also book for your whale watching or book online. Since COVID, there are restrictions in place. You can't go close to the homes, which is very understandable. Store and restaurants are still open so don't worry you can still have fun and still take some lovely pictures.
The food was delicious! There wasn't much else although due I imagine to the 2020 issues
Cool place to see if your on vacation, nice little shop there too, but not much to do other than that!
I ended up eating at Barb's but my son went to Mexican Seafood. The food was great, we went around 5pm so it wasn't too busy. Funny enough, I grew up in Victoria and I've never been there before. I'll need to go back and try out the other restaurants. It had a good vibe and is family friendly.
We love this place and the Fish and chips here are delight ????
What a beautiful little spot on the water. Ate at the Mexican restaurant there and it was really good. There's whale watching, kayaking, ice cream and some oyster bars. Plus a little Nick knack store.
Barb’s fish and chips And Pizza on plank (if I remember it correct) Great food!!
Nice place with flaoting houses and boats and sea food!
I hiked from the cruise ship dock to downtown Victoria, then stopped at Fisherman’s wharf on my walk back to the boat. I love this whimsical pier with floating tiny houses, bnbs, restaurants, and shops. Not only did i have a chance to rest and grab some delicious food, I also found some funky art and jewelry, and i was able to wander up and down the piers to enjoy the cleverly decorated homes, the colorful water taxis, the boats, and the happy people. I spent about 2 hours here by myself and though i could have spent more time here, i saw everything, got a snack, gifts, photos, and enjoyed it all tremendously.
Cool neighborhood!
One of my favorite places on the island
Strolled around the area early while the shops are still closed, its okay! The views are nice and relaxing.
Another pleasant example of how a City can manage its social issues for the benefit of all. I'm sure there's more work to be done, but it seems like they're well on their way. …
Best tourist attraction in Victoria in my opinion. It is fun. On the harbour and a great places for locals and visitors to get something to eat.
Small but nice
Super amazing to walk around and check out all the shops and restaurants
Lovely spot full of colour . loved fisherman’s wharf park . Will go again
Nice walk. Nice views
I love coming down here to visit the seals. It's great for a nice walk on quiet days. Really cute little boat houses.
Cool spot, about 1floating restaurants. No shops, just a easy walk on the warf
Cool to see while walking by but jammed packed with tourists on the inside. None of the restaurants here are anything to write home about (standard fish and chips) so this one is better observed from the shoreline trail.
Delightful! 2x fish & chip, 1x Mexican seafood, 1x pizza & mini donuts/ice cream vendors w/ many outdoor picnic tables immediately adjacent. Colourful boat house provides a lovely setting. Park across parking lot has a good playground. Handy for young kids & a picnic.
Lovely little quant wharf with several gift shops and excellent seafood huts. Seating is primarily outdoor picnic tables, there are some tent coverings for light rain, or bring a slicker and enjoy. Some vessels sell live crab from the dock.
Nice to spend sometime, walk around, take some pictures, have a beer and maybe eat. They also have booths where you can purchase tours like the whale watch for example. Food choices are mostly snacks like pizza, fish tacos, etc. One of the vendors had half price happy hour on oysters, which was a pretty good deal and very delicious. There was also a mini donut stand and they were really good. Stroller friendly, public toilets, near a nice park. Very small amount of seats available.
Tourist trap. Small and not super interesting. Fish and chips was good though.
Always on top of my list everytime I come visit
Gooooddd Fooood and Good Ice Cream
Great place but alot of people
Lovely place. Cute colorful small houses. Lots of restaurants to enjoy. A good place to spend an afteenoon in Victoria B.C.
First time I had fish tacos, and they were very good! Made with fresh caught fish. It was also very scenic. Resident harbor seal hanging out and looking for handouts.
Lots of green space, great views, peaceful for sitting on a blanket and eating fries.
Ate at the Smoke and Anchor tonight. I had the tuna bowl, my friend had the pulled pork on a bun. Both were amazing and the price was good! Will be going back for sure.
Great place for a walk. Good options for food.
Superb fresh oyster! Will return for the oysters ????
It's just a must visit on a warm summer day. Lots of different restaurants... Down by the water (obviously). It just has a great feel to it.
Wonderful place to visit while in Victoria. I didn’t eat at any of the plentiful restaurants but I really enjoyed the colourful buildings and gift shops.
Such a cute area in Victoria. They have fish & chips, ice cream, and other great restaurants. There is very little shade here so WEAR SUNSCREEN. You'll find a lot of charm here walking around, eating good food, and seeing the cute house boats.
Cute little places to eat right on the pier and check out the rows of small houses & fishing boats. Th Ing’s like fish and chips and tacos & sandwiches and ice cream. You can also catch a water taxi for a tour or to get around to places close by.
One of my favorite places. It's a different experience every time!!
Took my girl here for a visit. Def worth checking out. ????
This was an awesome spot to visit! We took the water taxi here from outside where the empress hotel is. The shops and snack spots on the water were great, and the slushee / popcorn and cotton candy guy made our kids day. Getting off the dock there is a nice park too. Would definitely be going back.
Great place to go and meet new people and great food.
Was a interesting experience. Kinda fun for walking and see homes on water. Colorful and interesting. Lots of ice cream huts and fast food spots. Fun little place to walk around.
Such a neat place to visit and the fish and chips at the fish store was amazing.
It's a beautiful place to just walk around a grab some food!! There are food booths set up and there's places to just sit and relax!
If you like colourful marine settings this is the place to go, even in Winter time. Friendly restaurants, water taxi, lots of boats and actual people's residences on the piers (please be respectful of them). Great pictures specially on sunny days!
Cute floating houses and business. A nice walk and view into the harbour. The roads leading to and out of the wharf is also a relaxing walk. We walked from the wharf to Breakwater lighthouse, totally doable with a nice view!
A destination where all of your Victoria experience dreams come true
Really awesome place to visit in Victoria. The food and gift stalls are nice but the highlight of this place would be the seals you can feed and see up close. They sell small fish at the black shack for $5 that you can feed the seals. One of the most memorable experiences of my life.
A very cute place! We couldn't go on the water taxi due to limited time. Just going around looking at the house boats and eating kalamari were nice enough ????
Colourful, good fish & chips restaurants. But quite crowded.
Great food, not a lot of places to sit though...
Beautiful part of Victoria with a small fishing village feel
Must visit place in Victoria. Had the best halibut dinner and seafood chowder at Barb's... Highly recommended.
We saw seals here!! Great place to see some seals
Had a nice walk and saw the sea at fisherman's wharf park
Very pretty place to spend a few hours at
Sweet Place for a Nice Time to Hang Out and Waste Some Time. Alright Eating Establishments Here as Well as a Drop Point on the Water Taxi. Lot os Seals getting Large over Here. Just Watch Out for Seagulls.
A really interesting and eclectic mix of floating houses in the harbour. Great to eat some fish and chips at the waters edge whilst watching the seals and sea otters swimming around.
Was still very nice place to visit despite most of it still being closed because of Covid.
Fresh food and local gift shop.
Really nice place where you'll able to have fun, and maybe eat some good food !
Cute houses but not a lot to do there. Many restaurants for tourists. Part of the wharf is not accessible because it is a private property where people are living.
Great place for a walk. Good options for food.
I'm not a huge fan but at the same time it is a place you have to see at least once, it was really charming and colorful, the floating houses where the thing that caught my attention the most, a nice place to have a drink and food
Unbelievable gem at the wharf...incredible world renown place to eat...highly recommended either as a local or visitor...and...you get free refills on your drink!!!
This urban park borders on a unique community. There is plenty to explore while you walk and see the sights but be sure to recognize the privacy of the locals who live here.
If you like getting caught in a tourist trap you willove this. Overpriced food vendors and private docks so you can't actually check out the houseboats (although people do live there so that's not a fair argument). Even still, it was interesting to see, but not worth the time it took to get there.
Lots of choice. Good food but pricey. Unique experience worth the cost. Clean.
What fun, and the fish and chips were awesome
Charming place that puts a smile on your face! Barbs fish and chips is a must!
This place is amazing! A place for you to walk and visit beautiful and colorful houseboats and try the delicious " Fish and Fries".
Tourist place with trinkets, nic nacs, beer , ice cream , mexican food , fish and chips , it's a groovy place to visit
I love fisherman's wharf! There are some great food options, and seeing the seals is awesome! Sometimes a worker will come from the fish shop to feed them. A must see in Victoria for sure.
Small but quaint collection of businesses. Also water taxi service for inner harbor.
Not worth the visit, unless you are into fast food
Nice gluten free options! I found very happy, kind people working here
A very nice place to visit. A lot of various attractions and food.
Sunny day, a little cool outside of the sun but totally magical facing away from the people, you are in your own little world.....
Really crowded and a bit of tourist trap. Pretty there, but be prepared for lines and crowds.
Must-go place if you visiting Victoria! I got so amazed with the floating homes and restaurants over there, it’s very unique
Quaint, quirky dotted with eatery's and shops for all tastes.
Must see when in Victoria. Great place to grab a bite, a drink and relax.
Lots of amazing people and food what more could I ask for:)
Great walk amongst the boats and small ships Lots of small businesses with food and knick knacks
Nice place, perfect for fish N chips
I hope when Covid is under control we can go back to seeing all of the amazing places.
I only walk through and along the water. Beautiful view n ppl
This is a cute place on the bay to grab a light bite and look at the the marina. There are some tour agencies that offer from kayaking to whale seeing. It is quite small for the amount of visitors that go, so keep in mind that large groups may not be a good idea. There is plenty of entertainment for kids and the place is quite instagramable. I do not recommend this place for single travellers just looking to explore places.
Very colourful and fun to visit.
Great place to visit!. Take the watertaxi to the other side of the harbour. For only seven dollars!!!????????
Loved the atmosphere here. There was a Mexican band playing beside the restaurant and i loved the vibes.
A great place to spend the afternoon or evening. Great food, floating restaurants and diverse crowd. There's also a park across where you can sit and enjoy your meals. Ample parking and washroom facility also available.
Such a fun place to visit! We walked around aww some fish and even an eel. Had some icecream and enjoyed the sun
Lots of small fast food type restaurants. Some knick knack type shops. 30 minute walk from the Fairmont Hotel. Ok food. ? worth the trip unless you are looking for the eats.
Went to barbs fish & chips very nice not to busy
As expected, a great place to kill some time and look at boats and stuff. It got busy at dinner time, but otherwise it was not to bad. Only 1 seal though..
Had lunch on the wharf at Barbs. Many place both at the wharf and downtown Victoria to eat, depending on how much time you have.
Fresh fish and nice place
Great little place to come and play during a visit to Fisherman’s Wharf.
It's OK. Workers are constantly cleaning. Would be nice to have other places and more open places .
This is a very adorable area, with the floating homes. Nice places to eat and a good place to catch a small boat taxi to other parts of Victoria.
Off-season but still not much there. It was a little disappointing.
Beautiful spot to enjoy lunch and scenery
Beautiful place with colourful boathouse A must see if you are in Victoria.
Easy to walk to from the Inner Harbour. Follow the water. Barb's fish and chips were excellent. Pricing was great - 2 pcs $16 with fries and coleslaw. Small place but bright and colorful. Park across the street to eat in.
This cute little area is always fun to visit. The colorful houseboats are so photogenic and there are some good food options as well. It is best to go there in the morning as it starts to get really crowded after noon, especially when there are cruise ships in town. If you're heading back to downtown Victoria area afterwards, I recommend taking the water taxi back. It's a great ride, giving a wonderful view of the inner harbour.
Food taste great but prices are very high. Especially the chowder which was delicious. But really small amount for the price.
I ate at Barb's restaurant and it was very excellent! Very fresh!
Fantastic! You didn't have to have the passport although you needed it to do anything else in Victoria.
Fun place to explore and eat!
Very crowded in summer time
Not many shops, huge line up for a public washrooms. Mostly private residences.
Service was great. Good was very good
We had so much fun here. It is a beautiful place, with excellent restaurants.
If you are on the island quaint place. Tasty treats. I had a waffle cone with vanilla ice cream.
this place is very nice and worth to visit and make memory pictures
Had lunch with my dog it was great
We just took a walk around! We were disappointed that we had already had lunch because the restaurants looked really yummy.
Lots of yummy eateries and washrooms. A wonderful view of the ocean
Great time. Long line up for ice cream, but worth it
A great walkabout reading all the boat names
Went there for whaling tour and enjoyed walking around the wharf looking at the boats and floating homes. A numbers of restaurants serve decent food. We ate fish n chips at Barb's which hit the spot. Water taxis are available for tours. Pontoon planes take off from this location. Our tour went well. Dress in layers..hat , thin gloves as the winds is brisk on the open water when moving. Great experience !!
A great place to eat.
Just a very cool and interesting place to see.
My cousin-in-law ate oysters deep fried, me I passed. It was raining but I felt the floor moving to find it actually a floating boat. The colors were nice on the stores but too wet to actually shop. Pay for parking. I don't think it's fair, we visit the wharf in the rain, don't feel like shopping, if it rains parking should be free.
The food is great!
Was great!! Food was fantastic!! Was very clean and staff were super quick to wipe tables.
Due to covid-19 access to the lovely houseboats was restricted. Great place for a waterfront dinner at a reasonable price
Cool place to walk around. Great food, beer, also a spot to have some wine. The little floating houses are cool to check out as well. The water taxi comes out of there too
Beautiful, colorful and delicious.
Great fun. Touristy for sure, live Mexican band, many eateries to choose from and even a dance floor.
nice place to sit and eat little bit pricey
Amazing place we stayed there for hours
Love. Can't wait to go back again. Great place for families. Live music. Plenty to see and do. Great choices for food.
Love it here!!
A fun way to spend 3 or 4 hours when in Victoria. You can walk around and see the floating homes, have an ice cream cone, or a variety of food. You can catch a water taxi to other areas on the harbour. The co-ordinates to the parking lot for a GPS or map program are: 48.42225 N, 123.38258 W (Decimal), --or-- 48° 25' 20.1" N 123° 22' 57.29" W (Degrees, Minutes, Seconds )
Is no very big but is nice to stop for diner or lunch, there is a couple of option to have a dessert. There are some floating houses there it's public washrooms and tables to sit down.
Gluten free fish and chips were amazing. YUM! A bit on the pricy side for a 2 piece meal though.... $26
Great place for lunch. Very fresh seafood. Reasonable prices and wait time. A bit hard to find parking but lots of free street parking within walking distance.
Even on a cold day, a walk in this area is entertaining and invigorating.
Great place to wall, fish and chips are amazing and they sell fresh catch seafood as well
Nice place to visit. Quite a variety of food, and a couple shops.
Friendly welcome got take out order thought it was a little pricy..just visiting but there are better choices for fish and chips
Beautiful spot by the water with a handful of restaurants with outdoor seating. Playground and dog park near by. Great little spot.
Enjoyed the ambiance and fast food places, it was a bit crowded though!
Great place to eat reasonably-priced seafood on the water at Victoria Harbour. Busy, so come midday, midweek if possible.
It was a nice walk to get to the wharf...the boat houses are so colourful and pretty. You can book boat or kayak tours from here and there are some great restaurants as well. Would love to rent a boathouse next time we visit.
Nice has become very commercialized since last visited -- 15yrs ago
Great Place to enjoy Fish n Chips and an ice cream after!
We go here everytime. May be time to check out other parts of the city. The water taxi is cool.
It was pretty cool to see all the different houses that were floating on the water. Not many Of the shops were open. Only a couple of the fried food places which we did not feel like on this particular day. I will also say that the houses were pretty cool to look at. They all have their unique styles and most seem to have a little fun with work and I only imagine being visitors year round.
Very nice corner in Victoria, a must visit place once in town. Nice private floating homes visible from the outside. Several simple places to get some food and drinks, seals and otters in the water often visible from the piers.
Great for seafood..ice cream..fun atmosphere for all..
Fabulous sights, bustling area. Great icecream! A must see in Victoria.
My first time back in YEARS. Beautiful location, lots of great food kiosks with very diverse food offerings. A great place to spend an afternoon or evening.
It was rainy day but still a fun area to go see and eat fish and chips at.
Great place to relax with friends and have lunch after a walk . Love the tortilla soup from the Mexican place.
Wonderful place. Beautiful view of the city. Great treats and places to eat. Whale watching tours. Harbour taxis. Parking is poor...and 3 bucks an hour....but the time spent here is worth it.
Great little area, just missing live music
Nice place for a walk and lunch
Must visit when you are in Victoria. Brightly painted buildings. There are private residences which is offlimit to tourist. We had lunch at Puerto Vallarta Amigos, superbly good. Took whale watching tour with Eagle Wing Tours..Highly recommend if you are interested. We were lucky to see 2 Humpback Whales breeching and 2 familes of Orcas, Steller Sea Lions and California Seals. The Captain (Jeff) and the guide (Mel) were so friendly and explained in detail. The tour lasted for 4 hours.
Love the ambiance, picked up fresh shrimp this time but its the halibut fish and chips with hand cut fries is our go to.
No campers, no needles, wonderful view. Great place to sit with a cup of coffee while the kids burn off their quarantine induced energy.
Several great food options. We went for smoke and anchor however they were closed so we had tacos from the Mexican restaurant. Prawn and fish tacos were our fav.
Pretty neat place to walk around, good food selection.
Floeting restaurants and a quaint decor. Great for eatong and relaxing pn the flaoting wharves
Love Fisherman's Wharf! Home to Barb's World Famous Fish and Chips!
Great place to go for eats. It is situated in James Bay, Victoria. Many different kinds of food to choose from. Outdoor dining only.
Unique setup to have a fresh local seafood.
Beautiful day touring the city!
"touristy", yes, but we loved it for its ambiance!
Lively and colourful wharf in Victoria's harbor lined with multiple food outlets for almost any taste. Unfortunately parts of the outdoor boardwalk were closed due to Covid hysteria.
Great walk never know what you will see
Super cute walk. Best time to go is on sunset to enjoy the beautiful view!
Really cute and good vibe area, seen a sea lions so that was fun. People actually live in those boat houses so you can't walk right by om the docks, you only have access to the restaurants and such at the front
An easy stroll beside the sea with various food stalls. Within walking distance from various hotels. There were stalls for whale watching, but they were closed when I visited in September. I'd recommend the fresh and fried oyster from The Fish Store. There is plenty of picnic tables for outdoor dining.
Very nice place. We saw a seal swimming too. There’s also a washroom in the wharf. It seems like a lively place and it’s near the Breakwater District. There’s also a water fountain beside the whale watching stall.
Neat little area and amazing fish and chips! We saw a seal and an otter as well!
Fish and chips were great.
Great place to watch the boats and great fish and chips .
Really good fish and chips at Barbs place.
My dining experience today at this place was amazing - ambience food and beverages services people weather and of course affordability and efficient service. I enjoyed every blessing received. Thanks to all who work in this place. While healthy measures are carefully observed, the wharf is truly a soothing relaxing and satisfying place of date in Victoria.
Has a variety of food in a nice little location. Wife and I had the Barb's fish & chips and can say that was one of the best we've ever had. It was so tender yet crispy so can see why they've been selling for a long time. Also tried the mini tacos at Puerto Vallarta Amigos and were quite disappointed. No flavor at all. The staff was amazing though and their live music was spectacular!
Cute place . Food was good a bit pricey. Fun atmosphere
It is a beautiful park in the Harbour. We got some excellent pictures as we walked along the path. Lots of food options if you get here early enough. I wish there was more lighting along this path at nightfall. I highly recommend this walk on your first night in Victoria as it is very close to the core spots of the Empress, Legislative building, and Museum.
Today the fisherman's wharf is quiet, maybe now is non peak season, most shops closed and even the famous fish and chips "Barb's" were closed today, so we went to tried "Fish Store" but fish n chips made us felt disappointed ????. Lucky, salmon chowder soup is tasty
Nothing special, very overcrowded place, tons of tourists.
The food! The ambience! Great place to go for lunch or an evening stroll.
Quaint and vibrant. Sweet place to visit. My son says they have the best gluten free fish and chips he has had.
Good place for a casual quick meal on the water !
Yes it is touristy, but we had a great time and we are delicious scallops and drank local cider in the warm sun.
Nice place and good food.
Fun place to visit. Not sure about the claim to fame about the best fish and chips though.
This is very pleasant place to visit in Victoria. It is about 20 minutes walk from Quebec and Oswego, near the Parliament building. …
Colorful and playful area that highlights some of the best Victoria sightseeing from a central point. Great food with plenty of options, exciting adventure vendors, and child and pet friendly.
We didn't eat there but plenty of places to eat . Fish and chips looked really good .
Beautiful way to spend an afternoon. I will be back as often as I can. Great food and plenty of space to sit and relax. Loved it!
It is such a beautiful place. The food is amazing and top it off with an ice cream. Great place for a visit
Lots of choices here for seafood????????????
The coolest little place I have seen. Lots of little shops to eat and get souvenirs etc.
It's a beautiful place to go. It's near the marina. You can also find a bunch of good restaurants to go eat.
Colorful place for Instagram!
This is always a great place. I always eat at the mexican seafood place. Always excellent and fresh.
A must do in Victoria! Barb's fish and chips was very good!!
The house boats were fun to look at and the food was pretty good too
Great Music and wonderful atmosphere! Loved the water taxi best!!!
Barbs place! The best!
Delicious food at Puerto Vallarta sea restaurant
Small park beside the floating wharf area with plenty of seating options (some red lounge chairs and plenty of lawn). Good place to grab a bite from the wharf takeout but get away from the crowds. There is also a well-equipped kid’s playground area.
Awesome and the whale watching was freakin fantastic totally will do that again (used EagleWingTours)
The food is great, but the wharf has lost all its appeal with no longer being able to walk around and view the beautiful floating homes. Used to be a staple for us to bring visitors, won't be anymore. Disappointing.
