Beautiful walk out to a small lighthouse! It's breathtaking!
Great views walking out to it. If you look close enough in the water you may even find a Starfish
A neat place to walk out to on the breakwater. Plenty to see as you travel the almost 1.5 kilometers and a great place for pictures.
My wife and I go for the exercise and the view is nice. One very popular spot with everyone, locals or tourist. The new railing was worth it to be safe. The day we were was warmer than expected, definitely bring a camera. Some benches to sit on,the summer time would be nice here on a warm day.
I always love coming here. Its always a lovely short walk, whether it's cloudy or sunny, day or night, or warm or windy and cold. It is a must see if you decide to spend some time in the city! It is also right between the Fisherman's Wharf and Beacon Hill Park, so if you have some time, it's definitely worth it going on an adventure and visiting the three places!
As far as lighthouses go, this one's not too shabby.
Nice place
Small but a cute lighthouse at the end of a lovely pathway.
Great view of everything!
Beautiful
Handy wind break in the doorway.
Nice views.
Beautiful place to visit when coming to Victoria. You might even get to see ocean life if you watch carefully!
Love this place. This was my first time visit with my friend.
It's a long, but pretty walk
Very cool walk to the lighthouse, best place to watch the sunset
A favorite place to visit. I love the nearby restaurant, seeing all the people enjoying the area especially in these covid times! Saw my first Victoria sea lion and jellyfish right by the breakwater last weekend!
This is a great walk out to the lighthouse and has fantastic views. There is the majestic Olympic Mountains across the straight one way and Victoria the other. It is a very active harbor with sea planes, helicopters and ferries coming and going throughout the day.
Solid water light
Nice long walk. Pretty. Lots of Pokestops.
Fun and historical place to visit. Well maintained and great view!
Nice place for a walk and good views of Victoria
Many come down tor a walk along the breakwater during summer and storm watch during the winter months.
Awesome spot. Great view.
Amazing view!
Nice walk and pretty amazing when the cruise ships are docked.
Make sure you bring a jacket as it can get a bit chilly but a good destination when going for a walk along the water
Great views.
It’s an excellent romantic bridge walk place with stunning views to cherish all along. Also, a historical place to visit in Victoria!
Great ????♂️
It was a unique and fun place to get out and go for a walk. There wasn't anything really spectacular about it, but it was a nice short jaunt.
Stunning views all around and a great piece of history. Keep an eye out for urchins, and seals amongst the kelp.
Beautiful seawall walk. A bit brisk with the wind on a early March day
It's a lovely adventure out to the light house if you take the lower breakwater along the huge blocks
Great place to go for a walk .. maybe not on a windy day but a fantastic place!
A lovely place on our cruise
This is a nice place to go for a walk.
Best place to watch a sunset
Amazing views in the summer. Great place to watch Cruise Ships come and go at night, and a great place to play Pokemon Go.
Great sunset views!
Nice place for a short walk. Love the breeze and so the sound waves.
A long walk to the Light House, well worth it when you get to it, beautiful spot on the Harbor entrance.
Beautiful walk
Beautiful views, nice for a afternoon walk.
Very beautiful, especially at sunset! And the kids enjoyed walking on the huge pieces of stone that go along the whole length of the pier. There are stairs at the middle and the end if you want to get back up on the pier.
Always worth the walk.
Great landmark with beautiful views.
Beautiful views, even got to see some jellyfish.
Everywhere in Victoria is amazing and this place was fantastic!
It's nice to walk along the rocks at the base
Great for small walk with view
Such a treat and they have the perfect location. Cruise ships come in also a beautiful walk on the break wall seeing across to port Angelas WA. Watching sealife swim along the wall and people watching all great.
Gorgeous place to visit with trails that offer stunning views at various lookout points.
Beautiful walk with family or friends
Invigorating evening walk!!
Glad to have visited Victoria and walked along the breakwater again
Was about chilly but the breath taking sight was worth the cold breeze.
Nice walk on a sunny day.
I Love the place
Nice little walk at night
Always a pleasure to visit. Stunning view with occasional sea-life.
One of the best views in victoria.
Supper cool. No public restrooms though.
It's worth visiting here to watch the sunset! You can enjoy 360° view of a beautiful sunset here!!
a must if you're not from the island or area!
This is a great flat walk for anybody whether you are just out for a stroll or trying to be romantic.
One of the best short walks in Victoria...great views, safe, level surface...all ages and abilities ????
Great place for a walk and awesome views
This was an adventure on a windy day. Wind gusts were possibly over 60 km/h.
Lovely spot to watch the sunset! Worth the walk if the weather is good.
Enjoy beautiful sunset over there
Nice walkway out to the lighthouse...especially for a sunset! Expect it to be a bit busier in peak times (summer, weekends) but still worth it. If it's safe weather wise and you're physically able try walking back below right alongside the water - not only are there less people but lovely indigenous murals along the way!
The view from the Breakwater Lighthouse is stunning! Next time I come back, I want to bring a thermos of hot coffee so I can spend more time cozy and warm out on the edge. I was told that if you are lucky, you can see whales from the Breakwater. If you are looking for a lovely walk that offers a bit of distance and stunning views without being too taxing, this is my #1 recommended walk in Victoria. #letsguide #walk
One of my favorite places to grab a coffee and go for a walk in Victoria.
The trek seemed endless but it was good exercise. However don’t forget your jacket because it gets real chilly as you venture further. The views are amazing so have a camera handy.
Great walk out into the Victoria Harbour. Great to go out for the exercise or to see the beauty of Victoria. Can be quite busy in the summer when three cruise ships are in berth.
So beautiful.
Vary nice 1.5 walk open ocean view ????
Spectacular views of the Ocean and of Victoria's shoreline. At night look across the water, the lights of cities can be seen in Washington state
Nice 1km walk on the breakwater. Good chance to see small animals in the water so keep your eyes peeled! Good view on Olympic national park mountain range.
It's a nice long walk to the beacon and the views from there are beautiful
I walk this beautiful place every morning and suprised by the various sea life I see.
Beautiful views of the harbour, definitely worth checking out whether you are a local or a visitor. Nice cafe and tasting room at the beginning of the Breakwater. Would be nice if there were more options for food and drink nearby, but it is a relatively residential area. In other places around the world there are cabana style businesses which sell beer and snacks and some cooked foods, and there is nothing like that here, even though everyone loves them. Beach nearby is here and there on quality, some nice places to chill, but with the tides it will literally be here and there. Sometimes you’ll see a seal or sea lion (this day we saw a male elephant seal, momentarily, but we failed to get a good picture of it, scared the little fish and made them start jumping out of the water. A lone Heron balanced on floating tangles of kelp. Was quite nice.
Bring your walking shoes because it's a long walk to get to that tiny lighthouse. It's a good thing that there was a lot to look at along the way including the excellent artwork along the Breakwater wall.
Definitely pay a visit if you are in Victoria. About 10-15 min walk from Fisherman's Wharf Park to the start of the Breakwater. Go down to the water access points. Very refreshing walk and a great view.
Got to see a few large cruise ships docked here.
Great walk and views
Good spot to start or end a walk along Dallas road, or to walk off a meal from breakwater cafe. Be prepared for a more windy area even if it’s not as windy at the start.
Walk way out on the ocean .5mi out. Great view of the harbour mouth and and wildlife I saw Killer whales swim by a ways out. Great time of the year to cool down when it is hot out. Highly Recommended!
I loved this part of my adventure! You can walk down along the rocks that line the walkway as you look out and have a beautiful view. There were some guys fishing, some runners on their run, and there I was sitting along the bottom eating my lunch and enjoying the view out over the water.
Good place to go with the family
Beautiful walk out into the water. Check it out on a stormy and windy day, you won't be disappointed!
A nice place for a walk , summer or winter! In the summer you can see the cruise ships pulling in and out the dock.
A most awesome place to watch the sun set and snuggle up to your honey. Would recommend. Bring a jacket!
Beautiful views. Great place for a walk
Photos speak for themselves. Worth the visit.
The perfect place for photo opportunities or a quick 1 KM stroll by the water. It can be very windy on some days though, so dress appropriately!
Nice walk and a nice place to sit! Good to visit and look at the ocean, especially if you walk down on the lower levels to get there. Note: don't take small children on the lower levels, the rocks are too high for them to climb safely!
Very scenic...
Such a lovely place for locals and tourists to walk and enjoy the sunset and scenery. Also-many cute dogs around (bonus points!)
Beautiful spot, also a great location to catch some free dinner!
A long walkway out to the lighthouse. A perfect place to take in the surrounding views of Dallas Road and the Olympic Mountains.
Beautiful bridge heads 1 km inside water! Was lucky to see sealion too! Keep your eyes on the water!
As what the other people that have visited this place, this is one of the many walks that you can do while in Victoria. Friends and I have figured that we would see the sunset from the lighthouse on out last night in Victoria and it was amazing! The walk from the parking lot is quite a bit but the breeze that you feel while walking plus the sound of the water and the beautiful sunset made it worth it!
my favorite morning walking place
The breakwater lighthouse is a walking route we take daily. Then stop at the Ogden Point Cafe or The Kraken for coffee and some great food. Staff is always friendly and service is great!!
Breathtaking views! Nice walk.
Nice place to walk.
Nice scenic walk around and back to our cruise ship!
After the long walk, it is nice to reach a goal right? This is a small light house and there are seats for a few people to sit and relax. Were kinda fortunate to a cruise ship dock while there!
Always a nice place to be. This time there were a pod of Orcas swimming into the inner harbour past all the sailboats, kayaks, water taxis, whale watcher boats, pleasure craft, Blackball ferry, etcetera. So much activity going on here. ????
Enjoy Siren’s Welcome and Seagulls’ singing for you!!!
Calming. Serene. A must visit for every passer-by.
Fun breakwater walk. A must do when visiting Victoria. Good for families.
The breakwater and lighthouse are a must see when you come to Victoria, I especially like walking on the bottom part be careful though as there are gaps as well as there's always the possibility of getting wet. The handrails along the upper part have made it much safer now.
Beautiful place all year round. Great place for scuba diving and sports fishing.
Very foggy today, couldn't even see the mainland from halfway out. Quite an otherworldly experience.
A wonderful walk fir anyone.
This is just one of the many walks in Victoria. Especially when there's cruise ships, which there are none now because of covid-19, and other activity in and over the waters: a pilot boat cruising toward a waiting freighter in the Juan de Fuca Strait; people fishing from the blocks of cement just below the breakwater; whale watching boats passing by; float planes on their way to Coal Harbour in Vancouver. I love coming here when the summer sun has reached 8 a.m. Benches at the lighthouse provide a nice rest.
Great walk, worth the distance.
Nice path to stroll along with protective railing. It can be quite windy on some days, but you can see beautiful sunset there.
Make sure you use the washroom before you attempt this! There’s not only the path on top that you take, there’s another along the side of this breakwater.
I didn’t really think this was a great tourist attraction IMO. We walked specifically to see the lighthouse. I was quite disappointed it was old and there was paint chipped everywhere. It also had some faded ugly graffiti. I guess people really enjoy the view though, but the lighthouse itself was a disappointment.
I love the view here and how open it is when you approach it. You can see many different creatures here, and a beautiful mural done by first Nations artists. I've enjoyed lunch before at the cafe that is near the walkway. You won't be disappointed when you visit here. Definitely worth it for the pictures you'll get!
A great walk with wonderful views, especially at sunset.
Very nice walk with an great view.
A tranquil location with fantastic ocean views. A great place to watch cruise ships as they arrive into port.
Great walk to get there and you can walk on path or down by water either way. Enjoyable.
Fresh Air, Beautiful View❤️
The place so beautiful, with outstanding drama scenery...awesome place to hang out or chilling your mind
It's very really peaceful sitting by the lighthouse watching the beach .
Good place to walk around in. There is a restaurant nearby you can get a bite to eat at.
Amazing. Worth the walk and truly an impressive walk.
Ogden Point Breakwater is a great scenic walk out to the lighthouse.
Great Place for a Run!
Wear a hat to protect your ears if it's windy, but hold onto it tight!
This is a beautiful place and lot of fun to walk through the pathway. In winters you get to see storm and seals, in summer probably surfers n kayaks. A must see when visiting Victoria, also don't forget to wear raincoat.
Nice cozy spot for some local craft beers and food.
Great place to walk around and see..
So beautiful to stroll down
loved stretching my legs out on this walk! you might see a seal or two!
Very peaceful and beautiful place to sit and watch the sun go down
I definitely recommend checking out this attraction in Victoria. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk out to the lighthouse from the street, but it's a really enjoyable walk with great views of the ocean and ship port, and on clear days, Washington State. Out at the lighthouse there are benches you can sit on, to rest up before heading back to the start of the pier. Really nice views, totally worth checking out!
Nice place for an easy walk. Wheelchair accessible. Pets must be on a leash and you must haul your dog excrement out with you. No garbage cans out there. Dress warmly.
Great walk!
Nice and a great walk!
Great place to walk.
Great place to watch the sunset
Good stroll with great view and it's relaxing
Great views and it doesn't close great for a walk
Functioning light house.
One of the popular location to visit in Victoria.
Loved loved this place! The most beautiful walk and the view is spectacular ♥️
Flat walk with great view. Saw a large crab..
A beautiful place for a morning or afternoon walk
I had not expected a place so close to the hustle bustle of downtown, be so beautiful & serene ! The amazing view of the Pacific ocean with mountains in the backdrop, the snow dusted peaks shining golden in the evening Sun, the people waiting in patience with the fishing rods and the surprise visit by the seal made this an awesome experience! The small lighthouse added to the effect. Must visit !
An awesome walk always a favorite of mine to be close to the water
A great place to take a stroll
Very nice place, long pier suitable for walk and jog. Breathtaking view of sea, ships, seaplanes. Was lucky to see seals dancing in the water.
The breakwater walk is about a half mile walk that puts you out in the sea with a unique perspective of Victoria. That a jacket most days.
Great place for a night walk
It's an easy flat walk (a little over ¾ of a kilometre long). There are two routes. Atop the breakwater or the less popular route over the large granite blocks lower down. Be aware that it's often blustery and one should dress appropriately for the time of year. Though depending on the direction of the wind often times the lower walk will be in a wind shadow. One word of warning about the lower walk over the blocks is that often times due to wave action one might be surprised with a face full of salt spray. Luckily there is one exit (stairs to the upper walkway) around the half way point. It's a good place for uninterrupted vistas and wildlife viewing. I've been noticing lately a lot of otters often in groups. I even witnessed an eagle trying to take a fish from an otter last week. Harbour seals are also spotted regularly as well. The seagulls never leave. I've yet to see any whales or orca but they've been spotted at a distant so bring your binoculars. If you're a diver then this is superb shore diving destination. You can start shallow and go deep or walk to the end and go directly to 90 feet. Unfortunately the dive shop that use to be located here is no more so you'll have to have your tanks filled up elsewhere.
Beautiful place to walk anytime. Make me feel fresh all the time!!
Tonight the air was still and the water was smooth as glass. Perfect crisp night for a walk on the breakwater.
I never know how to rate something like a lighthouse. It's a lighthouse. I want to visit them all. As far as lighthouses go, you won't be wowed by this one, but the walk out and the area are very pleasant, and I was happy we did it.
Being on the ocean with views of the cruise ships and the Olympic Mountains.
It's a lighthouse at the end of the breakwater. There's tons of benches for you to sit, relax, and enjoy the view after the walk. All that's missing us a free massage booth to top it all off. As the good citizens of Victoria we are, we should get the city to implement that. At least our tax dollars will go to something that's practical. Hahahaha!
Really cool viewpoint. Watched seals swim by while watching the sunset.
A must visit.
A pleasent walk if its not very windy. From the break water you do get a great view of the harbour and sea planes.
Victoria has lot of things to enjoy. This is one of them. Can sit here all day
Excellent view from this point. Do checkout the sunset time before you visit and reach there atleast half an our before that. Click pictures and share with everyone! There are stairs to go down to the sea level as well.
Beautiful walk to the lighthouse
Its a long walk but very peaceful at the lighthouse. When you arrive at the lighthouse, there are plenty of benches to enjoy.
Great views. Easy access.
It’s a lovely walk out to the lighthouse, on stormy days you’ll get a misting from the salt water and it’s a fantastic view of the city.
Nice place for a walk
A very popular place for local and tourist alike. Great views of all the popular marine traffic and activities. The breakwater itself is a good walk ending at the lighthouse from which you have close-up views of all the boat traffic going in and out of the Victoria harbour.
Very beautiful worth walking if you're visiting
Fantastic area of James Bay. A short 15 minute walk to the lighthouse and a good sight to check out if in Victoria. The best sight to see as it is free.
Nice walk and view.
This is really an amazing place in Victoria. It is a beautiful walk. If it is nice weather I would highly recommend it.
Really lovely views of the strait, and offers a nice walk along the Ogden Point bay to reach it
Very nice place to have a walk or to sit and enjoy the view.
Beautiful little walk! Saw sea lions swimming in the wharf!
Calm
I love this breakwater! Such a great place to start your day. Head out with a warm beverage and enjoy while sitting at the foot of the lighthouse, well that's my recommendation anyway.
Lovely place to go far a walk or a jog.
Beautiful walk, great sunsets
There seems to be a very spiritual sense about this location.
On a clear night, the views from this viewpoint allow you to see the stars as far as the eye can see. An perfect spot for watching the sun rise or set.
Very beautiful and peaceful here
Nice walk for a nice afternoon stroll.
Nice quick walk
Superb view. A very nice walk.
It was a beautiful walk even though it was dark when we got to the lighthouse. We saw some sea lions. We started our walk from the Parliament to Beacon Hill, then straight to the Breakwater Lighthouse. It was a long walk with my kids, but the views and the route were scenic. We did not find it very tiring at all. So we will be back here again, but we will try to be early when there is light. However, the views during the night made us see beautiful lights decorations during this winter holiday.
In any weather the walk along the Ogden Point breakwater is interesting. In the summer it is a nice romantic walk; in the winter storms it can very very exciting; anytime you can watch the harbour traffic come and go, from float planes landing, to massive cruise ships, or interesting sail boats too.
Nice walk. We saw 2 seals on our walk.
I'm a little biased, I've walked this every week for almost 2 years, beautiful anytime a day and different in all kinds of weather, definitely worth a little walk and a warm coffee on a fall day ;)
Great spot for a sunny afternoon walk
Cold February walk on the breakwater, but beautiful.
Awesome to take the family on a walk coffee house/restraunt right there been coming here a long time great spot to check out
A beautiful walk.
Unreal sunsets!! Must see!
Beautiful views of the Olympic mountains, and a good place to try for seeing some local wildlife, like a family of seals.
Great place to walk and get a great view of the ocean
A nice walk if you have a short time in the Port of Victoria. You can walk along the top of the breakwater which is paved and nice. If you want a bit of adventure you can walk down below at the water level.
Amazing view and peaceful place for a walk
Very scenic walk with fantastic views. The smell of the ocean makes the experience that more surreal.
Scenic view and very good for lazy evening walk..
Beautiful view and sunset
scenic , near the ocean, very pleasant
A very perfect place for a walk
Don't hesitate to walk out to the end of the Breakwater at Ogden Point. It gives you a completely different view of the harbour entry. You can see a lot of marine activity and float planes taking off and landing. The Breakwater is safe for children and accessible to wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and walkers since the installation of attractive railings a few years ago. Accessible washroom in the Breakwater Café. Disabled parking on Dallas Road out front and in the parking lot behind the Breakwater Café.
On a sunny day this is a beautiful walk. There usually lots of wind, but that is to be expected seen as you are at sea level and in the open. It is a safe walk for families as the have a safety wired fence all the way to the point. You sit at the end and watch the float planes take off and land.
Excellent walk out to the end of the breakwater. From here there are great photo opportunities of the harbour.
Everyone who goes to Victoria needs to walk out to the Breakwater Lighthouse! We ventured out on a very windy day and experienced the high surf against the barrier wall. You get a fantastic view of the shore from the lighthouse and it's great exercise to get out there because of how long the walkway is from the shore.
Nice place to see the sunset
Really nice walk. Great view.
Great place for a walk or run. Gorgeous sunrises, particularly in fall and winter.
Was whale watching, sea life thriving, currents, just beautiful nature!
Love this long walk to Ogden Breakwater Lighthouse.. watched the otter feasting small fishes too. Beautiful British Columbia ????❤
It's a beautiful walk for the family
Small was expecting a larger one
I saw this lighthouse as the Norwegian Bliss docked nearby for a port of call. It’s very cute but you do not need to spend too much time here. If you are a Pokémon Go player this is a gym location
Beautiful place for a walk in the evening!
It has that historic feel.
Good places to go
Great place for a walk.
Great place to walk and talk
Great for a run or a bit of seal watching! There are stairs leading off the pier to the rocks below if you'd like to get to water level.
Very nice walk. Very windy.
Hahahaha!
A small lighthouse at the end of the Breakwater peer. From here you can see waterplanes and helicopters pass by to and from the harbor. You most likely are going to have a good look at multiple cruiseschips as well. Although the path towards the lighthouse is flat, it's rather long.
Nice place to explore.
Nice little lighthouse on pier in Victoria, BC.
Beautiful place beautiful walk a must see !
Nice walk to the lighthouse. Good to see the new railings are there.
Very relaxing, beautiful zen Spot
I was enjoying a wonderful day with my children, and we just hit a lull in the activity. We happened upon this structure and thought I might be a way to kill time. I don't know how it happened, or why it happened.....but our time therr turned out to be probably one of the most bonding experiences we've ever had. I guess this place will have a special spot in my heart because of what it did for us.
More a beacon than a lighthouse. Not worth it to be honest!
Amazing for a great walk!
Parking might be difficult to find depending on the time but a must see if you're in the area. Apparently this is a good fishing spot as well!
Great place for a evening stroll.
Excellent walk near Downtown Victoria
Great little walk out to the end of the breakwater, not much of a lighthouse lol
Nice walk and views.
My favorite place to walk when it's warm out
Nice stroll along the sea. Good sunset views.
Awsome place for walk
A nice walk and great views.
Always a great walk in a storm or a beautiful day.
Nice place to walk and sit and watch the ocean
Its always there sunny or rainy
Definitely worth to go!! Breakwater is one of my favourite place in Victoria. Do go watch sunrise and sunset, they are stunning
My favorite place in Victoria. Very nice for taking a walk.
We went on a cloudy day but even then, the view was still mystifying. We were also REALLY lucky to catch a family of Orcas in the water. The walk was cool and refreshing; nothing quite beats getting a face full of ocean breeze while taking in the sky. The lighthouse itself isn't magnificent or spectacular but it was obvious it had been there for a while and that added the ambience of this experience. All in all, a great afternoon.
Great place to fish.
Great location to view the ocean and boats in the area. Go there
Really great place. Watch your step on a windy day. Walking on the rocks you can see all the clams and the barnacles stuck on the rocks.
Well kept lighthouse.
A great friendly walk
Absolutely beautiful. I'm from Ontario and this was my first time visiting the Island and seeing the Pacific Ocean. So excited to come back. This is a must see in Victoria.
Always a nice "hand holding" walk
Shirt walk out to the end of the break point. Would provide amazing sunset pictures if you catch the timing just right.
Was better without the handrails.
So Nice tosee
Love this place so relaxing and peaceful
really a masterpiece imagine walking for 30 minutes straight into the deep ocean....
A pacific maritime 100 year old icon. Take a walk out to the end of the breakwater and feel the wind fill your lungs with the fresh scent of the wild Pacific Ocean.
A very cool 1.5km concrete wall walk that leads to the breakwater lighthouse. Lovely view of the sunset.
Love it here! Action central!
Awesome place for a walk...unless it is windy.
Looking for a sightseeing point? This is it. Plenty of room to wander, local fishermen catching daily fish, and handicap friendly.
Beautiful walk to the Tower....
I walk the breakwater sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. It's a good, safe walk that is about 3/4 of a kilometre. Takes about 9 - 10 minutes each way. It's never the same walk twice. Great place to take pictures, there's always something happening. A couple of times I've been at the lighthouse when Orcas were swimming nearby. There are 8 or 9 benches to sit and contemplate the beauty.
Beautiful walk . amazing view . FREE PARKING !!!
Favorite walking spot with the love of my life
Sun, boats, ocean, beautiful.
The view is awesome, friendly, helpful staff & a great menu selection.
Really long wait. But the coffee is good.
The breakwater is one of my favourite places in Victoria. For someone from Alberta its really neat to be able to walk out this far onto the ocean.
A must see/do when in Victoria.
Beautiful views
Awesome place to hang out amd watch all the ships
Good place to go for a walk.
Nice walk and views!
Nice walk down to the lighthouse. You can scuba, snorkel and get close to the water. People fish at the end of the peer. Best time to go is sunset for the scenic view. Con: No public washroom
Great short walk the end of the breakwater, can be windy and cold so dress accordingly. Good birding possible, also sea life (we've seen seals, octopus and whales).
The pictures from this point are breath taking on a sunny day
Enjoy going for a walk. Got splashed on the granite blocks. Lovely experience.
Breath taking views of ocean, skies and mountain's
Very nice scenery.
Really pretty at nightt
Awesome views !! Enjoy the sunshine.
Love the breakwater, one of my favorite places in Victoria, whatever the weather.
Coming by boat to Victoria from Seattle. It is a great view and a wonderful welcome.
A lovely walk on a sunny day.
Good view. Lots of pokestops. Cool wildlife and you can watch boats and cruise ships as well.
I love Vancouver island
It's a breathtaking view while you're walking on the bridge. I love that there are stairs going down where you can walk right beside the ocean at just a little bit of height and see the waves.
You can walk along the edge of the breakwater and put your feet in the ocean and watch the ships go by.
Great place no matter what . .. ... ..
A great walk on the breakwater. Can't go in Lighthouse. But very enjoyable and popular place to walk
Nice place to walk and dog fridenly
A lovely walk! The cruise ships dock in the port beside the breakwater. Walk all the way to the lighthouse and watch the locals fish off the rocks! Most beautiful sunsets!
Beautiful spot for a walk.
Beautiful walking or running spot. Very pretty
Great for a quick bite, food was good and tasted fresh! Service was quick and staff were super nice!
Great views - nice to take pics of the lighthouse after walking on the Breakwater - glad to have the rails there for safety (wheelchair accessible)! Breakwater Cafe (Ogden Point) at the entrance to the Breakwater has great food - fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had! Wonderful service. Views are wonderful. Following COVID protocols very well!
