Cute park with a nice variety of amenities. The playground is very popular here, as is the off-leash dog area. My favorite is the community gardens. It's a very relaxing spot to walk around in.

This was my second attempt at strolling through this area. I came a few weeks ago but the park was locked off with police tape due to an officer being attacked. The area is super quiet and seems like a nice place to relax. There is a beautiful view of the water and it has a floating dock the you can swim out too as well. Great place for walking or riding a bike as it leads out to the Selkirk Trestle. I highly recommend coming and exploring this location, I'm sure the incident was a one off as this is a beautiful family oriented environment with a playground not too far off for more enjoyment for the kids.

Often, this park is clean and full of friendly faces. With the addition of the fence around the playground, I believe most people will feel more at ease in the park with young children. I am hopeful that the fence doesn't provide a false sense of security.

Our family loves this park. It's on the water and nestled amongst trees, grassy fields, and along a bus route. There is parking and a community centre is located on the grounds as well. We use the playground a lot but also love sitting with nearby coffees and baked goods in the grass on a nice day.

Banfield park has a large playground area for kids, a couple tennis courts, basketball court , access to waterfront and also has the Vic West Community Centre at the heart of it. A great place for taking walks with your dog or a bike ride on the trails. There is not a lot of parking but this park is accessible from many different areas.

Beautiful park right by the water. My kids really love the playground. Nice play to run as well and there are tennis courts. Only downside is being by the water iffy about playing with balls or a Frisbee, and it's always windy.
